Something de-ages danny, not a clue what exactly, but it does. BUT, danny had already had a good reveal with his parents, so he goes home and they see him de-aged and immediately get to work figuring out how to get him back to normal.

Life goes on as normal, its just that danny's body is about ten years younger. He still has to go to school (with a story that the thing that de-aged danny was aimed at fenton and phantom jumped in to take the hit but it got both of them - or open secret au, take your pick), still has chores, still has to deal with the ghosts that cause problems.

With barely a pause to question 'is that still danny?' everyone continues as normal.

Thing is, there's the typical information firewall we like to invoke to explain why the justice league doesnt know about amity. It blocks ghosts, Phantom, infinite realms, liminality and ecto-contamination, you name it.

What it doesnt block? Baby Hero.

As in, now that Phantom is tiny, everyone and their dog is taking pics and recording phantom to coo all over him on social media. Everyone is enjoying how adorable he is while it lasts. Even the rogues are playing nicer to soak it all up.

The justice league is concerned. Apparently there's some new hero (phantom has been active for over a year by now, minimum) operating in the midwest, and he is literally preschool age. Even the Robins didn't start that young! Who is raising this kid? What are they thinking?!

Its frustratingly hard to get any more intel about phantom (because the firewall is still catching everything else about him), so theyre gonna have to send someone in blind to scope out the situation.

Who do they send? You can decide, but i vote they put together a team: batman (wfa characterization) because he knows how to handle child vigilantes, wonder woman because everyone loves wonder woman and she's a good voice of reason, and zatanna (NOT constantine! Zatanna is more child friendly) to cover magical bases in case this is something like a captain marvel situation.

I adore the idea of Leo developing a love for glam rock not only because he likes the music but also because of how many glam rock bands had vibrant and extravagant eye makeup - looks that his own red stripes were right at home with.

Like just imagine a little Leo rifling through his dad’s music and choosing to vibe with glam rock specifically because he was like “:0! Like me!:)”

Why didn't anyone in the series ask why the yeerks didn't ask Seerow for morph tech in order to escape their parasitic life?

Two things!

Thing 1: There are not only laws but taboos against sharing andalite tech. Ax loves his friends, but he still struggles with telling them about andalite tech when doing so would save their lives. He's less worried about breaking laws than he is about betraying his entire species, and he's genuinely scared that telling humans about andalite tech will lead to a second Yeerk Empire. Presumably most andalites feel the same, judging by their appalled reactions any time one discovers human morphers.

Thing 2: As of andalite-yeerk contact, morphing technology is new, poorly understood, and widely feared. We know that ~30 years later, Elfangor and Arbron still don't understand morphing and have only morphed once apiece — they're terrified when Alloran tells them to morph, and regard Alloran's willingness to morph as an outlier. So way back when Alloran was an aristh under Seerow, we can assume that morphing tech was even more rare and widely feared.

Personally, I headcanon that the two-hour limit wasn't discovered until years into the R&D process, and that even today "two hours" is an estimate based on past nothlitizations. So andalites discover morphing tech, they try it out... and a bunch of them get trapped forever. And they don't know why. And anyone trapped as a prey animal loses their mind in addition to losing their body. And maybe after much trial and (catastrophic) error, they discover that it's safe to stay another shape for 5 minutes. For 10 minutes. For 15. So on, until they get up to ~120 Earth minutes and people start getting trapped again. If that's the case, if 100s of beta testers are nothlits, then no wonder most andalites only morph when they have no choice. No wonder they're baffled and even awed by the Animorphs' casual comfort with morphing.

Have you ever watched Loonatics Unleashed? It gets a lot of hate for being “edgy”, but I thought it was a pretty good show. It was an interesting concept and if you didn’t, I’d recommend it, even as background noise 🙂.

Bro, I kid you not - thanks to this ask I did watch LU (cause I needed something to watch while I draw) and finished all two seasons in like a week! And you know what? I actually enjoyed it!

It's pretty fun and all the action isn't too bad either! Also, IMHO but I actually preferred the more edgier Season 1 - there was interesting unique plot, while season 2 leaned back too much into Loony Tunes comedy for my taste.

he literally main charactered too close to the sun. he used to be so invisible that the door physically wouldn't open for him to be part of the scene. he was out of focus, cut out of the shot. he was physically barred from stepping foot in the precinct. but he found a way to use that, to leverage his status as a background character to get a foot in the door. he delivered food, he replaced tech guy without anyone batting an eye. but he pushed it too far, because now he's The Character. everyone is saying his name and everyone knows his face and his story and they have control of it now. now that he's in the spotlight they have to prod pluck and primp and make sure everything is in it's rightful spot. the show must go on. the story restructures itself around him in order to get to the finale on time. and now they're casting him in the villain role and jamming together random pieces of the puzzle so it all adds up and the show has a satisfying ending..... I'm....

i think we don't talk about what the driving force behind each batcher is enough. like if u think abt it hunter often acts out of fear ( not cowardice , fear that his ppl will get hurt duh ) , while crosshair often acts out pain , tech acts with logic , wrecker with love , and echo ? echo acts out of being true hater
