This week has been rough so far but a real test to how far I've come. We are short staffed at work so I've been doing weird hours. Those weird hours have meant I haven't been able to do my sessions with my coach. Too save money for my US trip, I've also gone to online training with my PT. Bam! There is two of my biggest support systems I can't see in person. I'm also starting to really notice my current calorie deficit in this cutting phase. I've been battling a sinus infection. The hardest thing of all? I'm travelling back home to see my grandma who is almost ready to say goodbye to us. Not being there for my family right now is harder than all the other stuff combined. I am so thankful though that I have such an amazing support network and I have developed so much better coping mechanisms in times that used to break me. Through tears, d&ms, reaching out and martial arts, I've been able to not just whether the storm....I've become it.
