i think it just goes to show that a lot of times people say things without an actual understanding of them.

and for the sake of clarity— the theory is that taylor replaced her right side eye with karlie’s eye on the reputation photo that was used for the tour poster, not the reputation album cover photo. though, it’s also the eye that appears on some versions of the cd and vinyl skin.

these days now that i'm older (and aware of my neurodivergence) i insist on very explicit communication up front with people. but alas, i was a little baby high schooler, and also it's just a genuinely funny story for me to recall now
