I’ve been thinking recently of a potential Zoey x Dawn ship. Like Zoey actually is crushing hard on Dawn, but wants to hide the fact she’s gay since she knows her parents watch and she doesn’t know how they’ll react, so she pretends to like Mike while having secret dates with Dawn at night when the cameras are off.

YES OMG!!! I could totally see that scenario- especially since Zoey is from a small town, and those are known to have more conservative views on a lot of things. I love this. Do you think Mike would be aware that Zoey was faking her crush on him, or would he be fully convinced she liked him? And if he knew she was only pretending, do you think he would still develop feelings, or would he perhaps be doing the same thing; pretending to like zoey so people watching back home wouldn't be judgemental?
