.: 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒 :.
abstract: bubba never learned the importance of acts of kindness and simple gestures. your new role in the family has begun to change that.
warnings: reader and bubba are platonic. brother/sister relationship, fluff and pure wholesomeness, brief mention of killing, i didn’t proofread because i am very lazy, sorry heheh.
solace is found in the tranquility of the bright, cheery sunflowers. their golden tincture and lofty height making them as warm and inviting as the summer sun. rays of sunshine emitting from their dark centers. their triumphant stocks grow thick and long, hairy spines catching the light of the midday sun above. their heads look to the sky as if to admire the faultless beauty in its cerulean colors and heavy heat of the dazzling star above them. leaves droop in a careless fashion, gifting some shade to the creatures below. it’s pretty, the way they shift and dance gently in the warm breeze that falters. only to return every so often with another soft gust.
they’re all-seeing, observers of all in a never ending spectacle. perhaps that is the reason they brought fourth the idea of contentment and peace. for they bare no judgement. complacent in their nature and the symbol of joy and happiness.
the sunflower fields were perhaps the only place on the homestead untouched by the wretched atrocities committed by this bloodlust family. less the human matter that compromised the soil’s fertilizer should be considered in that regard. but, what was unbeknownst to her wouldn’t bare her any harm.
the flowers come in varying lengths and sizes. some stemming to be taller than her, others rise just above her hip line, some greet her at eye level, and the smallest of them all barely reach the knees. the sun peaks through the foliage to glisten over the high points of the girl’s features. shining brilliantly against the bridge of her nose as she winces against the warmth of the texas sun. a soft smile befalls her chapped lips as she feels the warmth tickle against the skin of her face, down the length of her neck and glimmering prettily over her exposed collarbones. reaching upwards, she can just barely grasp the soft rays of the flowers. rubbing the velvety petals between the pads of her fingers delicately. they’re warm with the day’s sun. flashing in the golden colors of the heat from above. it’s pleasant and peaceful, euphoric in a way one might not expect to experience in a place like this. it is strange to find such a beautiful and inviting thing.
bubba never fully understood the value and importance of gentle gestures and tenderness. but perhaps, this was on account of how he’d been raised by his immoral and detached elder brothers. he found it difficult to express such elaborate displays of affection, strange to be benevolent and careful with others. the only time he’d ever experienced such was with grandpa, but that was on account of his disability and frailness. in other words, bubba hadn’t seen him as a threat.
for he feared more than he could bear to be sweet and soft. he feared more than he felt safe. the constant come and go of strangers had put him in a constant state of uncertainty and terror, a constant looming of paranoias. for he killed of fear, not malice. this young woman was no exception.
bubba watched as her arm twirled gracefully in the sunlight. cautiously from a short distance in that same sunflower field. often times he sought the advice and comfort of the flowers and their wisdom. frolicked in their own carefree and pleasant ways. it has been amongst the only times he would find peace of mind. an escape from the influx of insults and violence hurled his way by the family. a place where someone like him could truly be gleeful.
he watches as she reaches for the fragile flowers closer towards the ground. spinning it between her slender fingers as she brings the bud up to her nose. a quiet sniff, and a gentle smile. intrigued, he mimics her actions. carefully bending over to pluck a small sunflower from the soil, sitting back up, and bringing the head of the flower to his nose to smell for himself.
the smell of the earth fills bubba’s nostrils. the faintest hint of sweetness invading the warm smell. it’s soft and sweet, yet strikes him unexpectedly. he sniffles, not before dropping the flower as he sneezes. his foot moving to step on the plant accidentally. the fragrance twinges his nose, despite its pleasant smell. he’s stunned, spooked, and upset he’d destroyed something he found to be so pretty. groans of concern and sadness leave his mouth as he stares at the partially destroyed flower. only to look back up to find the girl slowly approaching him. offering him her own flower she’d picked only moments ago in the accident’s wake.
she’s terrified, still not fully accustomed to her new home life or family members. therefore cautious and unsure, just as he is. but she sees the vulnerability and display of softness bubba possesses. and a part of her almost feels pity, intertwined with the longing to be kind to such a lost soul.
her frail arm shaking, bubba hesitantly takes the flower from her hand. her gesture met with just as much caution and fear. but beneath that skin mask, he smiles. a disgruntled and amused laugh befalling his lips. his display of happiness is met with a bright smile. to which, the both find some degree of comfort. she moves to remove the mutilated flower from the ground below, examining it closely and shaking her head.
“ it ain’t ruined. ” she dusts the dirt from its petals and reveals a flower crushed and bent. it’s petals wilted and the middle plucked of some of its fuzz. the stem is cracked in half, but she prevails, holding it out to display it to him. “ it’s still beautiful, see for yourself. ”
bubba scoots closer to examine the damage he’d done, finding himself confused by what she meant. it was mangled and ugly, much like he saw himself. but she only pressed on, despite his sounds of disappointment.
“ it’s beautiful, to me. ” she whispers, clasping it to her chest. “ here — i’ll keep this one, the one i picked is a gift from me to you. ”
bubba only nods, staring in awe at the flower he held. he’d never been given a gift like this before. it felt, strange. it filled him with a great sense of joy and gratitude. that foreign feeling of safety and tranquility filling him as he stood with her. ah, perhaps she was his new favorite sibling.
their exchange is short, yet it became the moment he had began to learn the importance of simple kind gestures. maybe, the beginning of his understanding of gentleness. he felt a little less scared. and in the hot summer months when time had allowed it, they’d return to the sunflower fields to bask in its beauty and warmth. she’d braid flower crowns and place them atop his head, and they’d fill baskets with flowers to craft fancy bouquets for the dinner table each night. bubba even found it in him to gift flowers to his brothers, despite their unappreciative nature to the gift. despite that, he’d always feel great satisfaction when seeing the smile on y/n and sissy’s faces when he gave them a flower.

Something in His Eyes [ Johnny Slaughter x Reader ]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: You find out the hard way why being close to Johnny was never a good idea.
A/N: I’m obsessed with the game so it was only right to write something for Johnny <3
Warnings: General Texas chainsaw massacre content, blood, mentions of killings and death
-
You had been laying on the grass, basking in the sun all afternoon when your mother called you into the house. You had lived on a farm and your nearest neighbors were the Sawyers who lived a couple miles down the road.
She had interrupted your sun bathing to send you to the grocery store for a few items that she needed for dinner. She shooed you off with the list and you took your bike with a little basket to carry the groceries.
You had to pass the Sawyer house on the way to the store, so you decided to see if they needed anything. And it was more of an excuse to see Johnny.
You had met him a few months ago during the summer, when he explained to you that there was a family emergency that required him to stay at the family house instead of with his mother Nancy.
You made it a habit to say hello to Sissy every few days. You never cared to say hello to Drayton though, as he always gave you side eyes and would sneer whenever Johnny would jog just a little faster to see you at the fence.
While you had invited Johnny to your house multiple times, he never seemed to invite you into his family’s house. It didn’t bug you as much since he never even took you up on your invites.
It wasn’t long before you made it to their house, honking the small horn on your bike to see if anyone was home to hear.
After a minute of waiting, Johnny appeared from the back of the house. He did a jog to close the distance between the two of you, especially since the driveway was so long.
He gave you a giant grin once he was close enough. “Hey there, pumpkin!”
You blushed at the nickname, but tried to hide it. “Hi, Johnny.”
“What brings you here?” He got close enough and you could see the sweat beading down his temple, and how his breathing was short and scattered. You failed to notice the bleeding knife in his pocket.
“Making a run to the grocery store. Wanted to see if you needed anything?”
“I think we’re good. Drayton is making his famous chili.” Johnny said, almost giving you a look once over but stopping himself.
“Ah, I forgot he cooks. Does he wear a little apron as well?” You joked, poking Johnny on his abs. You tried to refrain another blush from how toned he was.
He chuckled, giving you a wink. “He does, but that’ll be our little secret since he never lets anyone cook with him.”
You nodded, pretending to lock your lips and throw away the key.
“I was meaning to ask you, have you been listening to the radio? They ended up finding the car of Maria Flores! Isn’t it crazy that she just upped and disappeared?”
Johnny tensed but you didn’t seem to notice since he smooth talked his way out of it. “Yeah, real crazy, pumpkin. But they said no foul play so there’s no chance they’ll find her at this rate. She probably ran away.”
You shrugged, not entirely sure yourself. Your mother had gotten worried for your safety, but you promised her you would keep a pocket knife on you at all times and if you could, have Johnny accompany you.
“Most likely. Crazy stuff though.” You said and tried to change the topic. “I’m gonna head to the store now. See you in a bit.”
Johnny smiled and waved you off.
Once you were farther in the distance, he sighed and returned to the back of the house.
He removed his knife from his pocket and wiped it on his thigh. He was only a few feet away from the barn when Sissy exited, covered in blood.
“You know she’s gonna come looking one day, Johnny.” She sneered, leaning against the wood frame and crossing her arms. “She’ll end up just like Maria. Then you’ll really have to up and leave.”
Johnny rolled his eyes at her and stomped into the barn, making sure to shove her shoulder.
He didn’t want to think of a reality where you and his family intertwined. He imagined every scenario and none of them seemed to look good for you. You were his perfect little ray of sunshine, but he feared his heart was too far gone to let any light in.
He was worried the side of him that hurt people would eventually bleed into the side that didn’t want to hurt you. But that instinct would always be there whether he liked it or not. Especially since Nancy instilled it in him so long ago.
He touched the scar on his face, remembering that day so long ago when he finally confronted Nancy for killing his birth mother. He had been scarred by her, permanently damaged inside and out.
He always fantasized about ending Nancy once and for all, for what she did to his true mother.
Bubba was fixing his chainsaw after it had overheated multiple times without him doing anything. He gave Johnny a grunt and that was that.
Johnny looked at the table in front of him, seeing the scattered pieces of meat that they were going to bring into the house for Drayton to cook with.
He liked to think that maybe he could convince you they were actually just butchers, but the skeleton decorations might give it away.
He also feared Nancy finding out about you. Soon enough he would return home and the thought of leaving you behind scared him. What if you followed him like a lost puppy? What if you visited him as a surprise without any warning?
What if Nancy…
Johnny didn’t want to think about it anymore.
He knew what Sissy said was right. You would eventually find your way into the house like they all did.
He just hoped that maybe this time it would be different.
-
The next day, you drove your bike as usual to the Sawyer’s house. A few rings of your bike bell and Johnny was rushing to the front.
His usual happy demeanor was not present.
“Hey, Johnny.” You still gave him a smile and wave.
He did a grunt and crossed his arms. “I uh, I’m busy right now. What’s the matter?”
“Oh.” You said, tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear. “Nothing much. Just wanted to see if you were up for hanging out.” You tried to not show your hurt.
“Not right now, pumpkin. Maybe another time.” He seemed stressed, so you placed a delicate hand on his toned arm.
“Everything alright?” You asked with those innocent eyes that made him feel weak. He hated that he felt that way towards you… so weak and vulnerable, breaking at the seams, his dark demeanor, that monster screaming inside of him to end you… you made those thoughts go away… maybe that’s why Maria’s friends were still in his family’s basement, not yet dead because Johnny hesitated looking into Ana’s eyes… seeing her sister…
Was this the life he wanted to lead?
Johnny didn’t realize you were growing worried, waiting for him to answer. “Fine, pumpkin.”
His eyes didn’t sparkle like they usually did.
In the distance, you spotted something, though.
A girl with bright orange hair was in the far right of property, rummaging through a blue box in the barn. Instant worry and suspicion ran through you as you pointed to her. “Who’s that?”
Johnny whipped around instantly, his shoulders tense.
“Shit,” he muttered. “I gotta go. I’ll talk to you when it’s convenient.”
You were offended and made sure to show it. “Johnny, what’s going on?”
Before he could answer you, the orange girl had stopped her search and noticed you, standing there as innocent as ever. She began to shout much to the dismay of Johnny.
“Help me! Please! This family is torturing us!” She wept and started running towards you.
Johnny let out a low grunt and faced you. “I’m sorry, pumpkin.”
“What?” You blinked, wondering if it was some prank… it had to be.
Johnny lunged for you, grabbing you around your waist and forcefully pulling you off your bike. He tried shushing you. “Stop movin’.”
“Johnny!” You screamed, hitting his arms as he roughly dragged you towards the orange hair woman.
Once you were on the property, you noticed the metal sheet now behind you started buzzing with electricity. You were trapped like a cattle waiting for slaughter.
The orange hair girl started screaming which made you whip your head towards her. She was being brutally murdered by a man with a chainsaw.
You let out a horrific scream, slamming against Johnny with all your force. “Let me go!”
“I’m sorry it had to be this way, pumpkin.” Johnny’s voice was sincere, but as you looked up into his face, it was stone cold.
He started walking towards their house, and out strolled Sissy covered head to toe in blood.
“Oh! (Y/n) is finally joining us? Will she be for dessert tonight?” She cackled which made your eyes widen in fear.
“Not now, sissy, go deal with the rest of ‘em.”
Sissy rolled her eyes and scoffed. “We wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for you! And now you’re bringing your plaything. Just wait til your mama gets here!” She ran off somewhere in the house, and you finally got a good look inside of it as Johnny brought in your flailing body.
“I said, stop movin’!” Johnny yelled and placed you down firmly. He held your shoulders as you began to shake in fear. “You need to listen to me, right now.”
You shook your head profusely as if it could take away all the bones surrounding you in their house. If the image of the orange haired woman being sawed alive would disappear. “Johnny, let me go!”
He kept you firm in place and stared deeply into your widened eyes. “I knew you’d see this side of me eventually… I just didn’t realize this soon. You… you don’t get a choice when it comes to this family. It’s either be eaten or become one of us.”
Your heart felt like it was going to burst out of your chest. Johnny had to be lying. Your sweet Johnny was playing a prank, surely.
He continued on, “(Y/n), you are not fit for this world. I… I can’t let you become like me…”
You were able to bring your arms up and slam them against his chest. “Johnny please!”
He slowly eased his grip on you, but he didn’t want you to escape… he had you right there… his mind was running rampant at the thoughts that consumed him.
His heart ached at the sight of your tears and how you looked at him with so much confusion and were terrified of his family.
Ached.
Johnny didn’t realize fully what he was doing until you were screaming, thrown over his shoulder once again.
He began to rush through the house, and it took your all not to throw up at the sight of a woman hooked to a wooden post.
Was this to be your fate, too?
Johnny hurriedly went out a back patio door and through a series of steps before throwing you in the back of a car. He locked it before you could reach the handle.
You screamed and slammed your palms against the windows, praying that someone would answer and rescue you.
Johnny tried not to acknowledge your pleas as he hot-wired the car. He couldn’t think this idea through, or his family would slaughter you and make him watch.
His heartbeat only intensified as he heard his mother’s voice ring out across the yard. He finished what he needed to do and slammed the hood of the car down.
Johnny got into the car quickly, ignoring your whimpering in the back seat.
You were hysterical as he drove off, taking a back exit out of the property.
The only sound in the car was your occasional sniffs as he drove for thirty minutes in the middle of nowhere. He had gone a back road that you had never seen before, but you were able to see the back of your house fly by as he paid it no mind.
He wasn’t taking you home.
You slowly composed yourself enough to speak up. “Where are you taking me?”
Fear made your stomach turn as he sharply looked at you through the mirror. Coldness glazed his eyes, and no longer could you see the man you had grown to love.
Love. What a stupid feeling.
It was the reason you were there at their house. You loved spending time with him. You were growing fonder of him.
It was the reason why Johnny was driving you far away from his family. The side of him that was weak had grown attached to you. It frightened him.
Would it one day switch on you? Would you be another of his countless victims? Was his love for you too grand that he might do something reckless.
He supposed he already had.
His decision was sinking in.
He briefly turned in his seat to look at you.
Your hair was disheveled, your mascara ran down your cheeks in an ever-fading cry, your hands were tucked around yourself, trying to keep yourself together.
You were still the innocent girl he loved.
“We’re going far away, pumpkin. A place where nobody will hurt us.”
You wanted to believe Johnny, you truly did… but there was something in his voice.
Doubt.
Because Johnny didn’t even know if he could promise that he wouldn’t hurt you.

can i request johnnys gf who knows the family secrets and loves them all anyway, just disappears one day and they all think she finally just left for good, ran away and isn’t coming back, but she actually just went to jail or ended up stranded somewhere lol
CW: meaningless angst, red flags from family members (cough nancy cough), johnny feeling down
Tumblr media
He didn't understand it. He'd done everything right, hadn't he? She'd known for two months now- had dinner with them, had helped chop the meat, had gotten along with his relatives.
And she just leaves? Wasn't she scared? Didn't she fear the repercussions of an attempted escape? Didn't she know what he was capable of?
"I tried to tell you, boy. She was nothin' but a waste of time," Nancy scolded, rolling her eyes at the boy on the stairs. He gave a small nod, but only because he didn't want to hear her complaints. "Frankly, I never liked 'er."
"Well, I- I did," Nubbins hiccupped, swinging his leg back and forth as he gently kicked the railing.
"You liked her like you like them photos you take. She was nothin' but a decoration," Nancy snapped, and Nubbins nodded, quieting down.
"I thought she was sweet. Different, too. Nothin' like most of his girlfriends," Sissy encouraged, placing a hand on Johnny's shoulder. He shrugged her off, and she pouted, scooting away from him.
"It's whatever, she wasn't nothin' special," Johnny grumbled, standing up. The trio around him watched as he turned and headed up the stairs, and though Sissy attempted to follow him, Nancy grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back.
Shutting his bedroom door behind him, he lay down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. He just wanted to know why. She'd never had a problem with him. They'd gotten into arguments, but they'd always been resolved. The sex was good, she talked about it all the time. She'd constantly showered him with affection, and now she was just leaving? Who did she think she was?
Johnny hadn't enjoyed anyone else like he enjoyed her. Hadn't put up with anyone else like he'd put up with her. She was annoying, and weak, but he'd-
No, he wasn't going to use the L word. She ran away, she didn't deserve the L word. I mean- she ran away. She had a life here. A house, didn't she have a family-? She dropped all of that to leave, to ghost him? Instead of doing what any normal person would do and just break up with him?
But no, he wasn't deserving of a word, a note, an apology. An explanation. That's all he wanted. Just a reason. Just one reason. Clearly, it wasn't the cannibalism that turned her off. And she'd chosen to hang out with his braindead family members, so it wasn't them either. She liked the way Johnny looked, she'd said so, and he hadn't changed anything.
Did she meet someone new? No, they spent all of their time together. She just ran. Left.
Johnny sat up, pushing his hair back over his head. He wore a scowl, but his eyes were more hurt than anything. And wet. He raised a hand, wiping the pad of his thumb across his left eye. Now his thumb was wet.
He groaned, rubbing both of his eyes and shaking his head. He was angry. Not upset- he was frustrated, and angry, and violent. He was not sad. Johnny didn't get 'sad'. That was not a thing he was capable of feeling. Nancy had taught him that- people like Johnny weren't capable of real feelings. Emotions. 'You're special, boy,' she'd repeated, telling him over, and over, and over again. Throughout his entire life, that's what he was told. Reassured.
So he hardly understood why the hell his eyes were wet. His cheeks. He wiped his face again. Probably just sweat.
He just wanted an explanation. He wanted to see her again, too, but mostly just needed a reason. So he stood, grabbed the keys to his truck, and hopped down the stairs. Nancy and Sissy called after him, but he didn't listen.
The entire drive to her house, he was silent. The radio was off. He just stared ahead, his thoughts racing. His thumb tapped borderline anxiously on the steering wheel, and he was definitely going over the speed limit. Thankfully, nobody else was on the road.
When he reached her house, her car was out front, and he found it infuriating. He was growing angrier by the moment, and he didn't bother to knock. He picked up her doormat, inserted a key, and shoved open the door. He called out her name, but there was no response.
Stomping up the stairs, he opened her bedroom door and opened his mouth to yell, but he couldn't manage the words. There she was, sleeping on the bed, looking as peaceful as ever. As unbothered. As apathetic.
He just stood there like an idiot, watching her sleep, for almost ten minutes before he finally approached her.
"Wake up."
She stirred, gently opening her eyes. She squinted at Johnny, and then scoffed. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I want answers."
"Me too, asshole!" She yelled, grabbing a pillow and swinging it at him. He caught it, yanking it out of her grasp, his eyes narrowing.
"What? What answers could you possibly need? Are you really that goddamn-"
"I loved you! And you got your fucking mom to break up with me for you? You are so goddam childish," she growled, sitting up and grabbing a second pillow. She swung it at him, and he caught that one as well.
"Wait- what?" He stammered, pulling the pillows away from her, holding them in front of his chest like a shield.
"Seriously? Don't play dumb. You're unbelievable. You think that just because-"
"You left me," he clarified.
"What? No, you didn't want to keep seeing me. Nancy told me," she replied, her eyebrows pinching together.
"That ain't true. You stopped showin'," he scoffed, throwing the pillows to the floor.
"Then why'd she tell me you wanted to break up?"
Johnny sighed, rubbing his temple. "Damn it. I knew she was gon' do somethin'. Darlin', that ain't true. I woulda told ya myself," he assured. She frowned at him, and grabbed a third, and final pillow, threatening to hit him with it. "I'm bein' honest."
"I don't believe you."
"You believe Nancy over me?"
"...No, but-"
"I thought you'd gone 'n run off," he huffed, sitting down on the bed next to her.
"Seriously? You think I'm that heartless? That I'd just run off without any explanation? Damn, Johnny, that hurts," she chuckled, almost nervously. "I was gonna call. But I didn't wanna end up as dinner in the case that you were really mad at me."
"You shoulda. Sorry, darlin, she's been on my back 'bout you. I shoulda seen it comin'," he apologized, she rolled her eyes, leaning a head on his shoulder.
"I probably should've been more skeptical. That is good to know though, cause uh... I didn't really know what I was gonna do without you," she murmured, taking a hold of his hand.
He furrowed his brows, turning to face her. "Did you say you loved me?"
"No."
"I'm pretty sure you did," he pushed, narrowing his eyes.
"Shut up."

Of you are comfortable can you write headcanons for
Brahms, Billy, Stu, Bubba, OG!Micheal myers, and Jason Voorhees reaction to seeing their s/o with fresh or old SH marks/Scars?
Comfort headcanons with them would be *mwah!* cheifs kiss
(Anon I'm so sorry this took so long, I hope you enjoy!!)
Slashers Reactions to Seeing S/O's Scars
︶꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷♡꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦꒷꒦︶
Brahms:
Tumblr media
Hard to hide them (if you are) since his eyes are constantly on you. If you're not, he stares at them before asking questions, (He's very blunt, the only scars he knows about are burn scars for... obvious reasons-)
Speaking of, since he has his burn scars, so he knows how to care for yours, and he is so so careful about cleaning and wrapping them. The last thing you need is a worried Brahms and an infection
Rubs them sometimes, usually when you're asleep or if you two are cuddling. It's always absentmindedly, and once he realizes he's doing it, he stops and hugs you
He wears his mask less around you, generally because he trusts you and partially because he knows you won't push him away. The support goes both ways in this house!!
Wraps you in his cardigan for comfort, especially if he sees fresh marks
Very very mindful about where he clings to you, he doesn't want to hurt you
Billy Loomis:
Tumblr media
It takes him a bit to process, but once he does he's looking up as much as possible, but ends up getting frustrated at all the information and just asks what he can do to support you
His biggest tactic on a bad day is distraction, usually by asking to take a walk or watching a movie. If that doesn't work, he gets you a cold water and sits with you. He's much more of a listener than a talker
Will punch anyone who upsets you because of them (and in general). Don't expect to see that person again
If he sees fresh marks, he won't comment on them but he will look at them every once in a while to make sure they're healing properly
Overdramatic kisses, like he's saying "mmmwah" on every scar to make you giggle. He's trying to make sure you feel safe and comfortable around him by knowing he'll never judge you
Stu Macher:
Tumblr media
Harm-reduction master. He knows all the techniques and figures out what works best for you
Also helps you figure out any triggers you may have and how to navigate them when he is and isn't home! He wants to make sure you'll be safe either way
Wraps you in a blanket and comforts you on a bad day. Makes you tea, gets your favorite snacks, sets up the TV for your favorite movies/shows, and plays with your hair on the couch all while showering you in support
Tries his best not to look worried but is internally screaming whenever you're hurt, he's a very emotional guy when it comes to you
He trusts you though, and does his best to make sure you know he's always available if you need him
Bubba:
Tumblr media
Texas heat means he likely sees them from day one. At first he thinks they were caused by others, but if/when he sees fresh marks he puts the pieces together
He doesn't want you to have a heatstroke while working, but he also wants to make sure you're comfortable, so he'll send his brothers away and stay close to you around the farm
He does technically know how to clean and dress wounds, but he does get a bit panicked because it's you he's helping, not just one of his brothers who got unlucky while chasing a tourist
Makes sure his brothers don't joke about them or use them against you. Drayton made a comment once and he lost his mind.
Happily and regularly checks up on you, he sees it as part of his routine to ask you how you are just in case you need him but don't know how to approach him
OG!Michael Myers:
Tumblr media
He's indifferent about them for the most part
On one hand, he's lived around people who had scars practically his whole life, so he's used to seeing them in general. On the other, he wasn't used to seeing them on you, and he took a little longer than usual to process the first time he saw them
Has many of his own, and isn't shy about showing you them if it would help you feel more comfortable around him.
Knows how to tend to his own wounds, so he doesn't mind tending to yours
Support headpats. They're his "I love you/I'm here for you"
Sticks around you more than usual for a while, just to make sure you're alright, you might even get a hug if he's feeling brave. He'll even get in bed and cuddle if you've had a really bad day
Will kill anyone who comments on them in any way that makes you upset.
Jason Voorhees:
Tumblr media
Doesn't quite understand them, which makes him very curious.
Always taps your shoulder to get your attention if he wants to see them, and nods and kisses your forehead if you say no
He truly does mean well though, he wants to know how to help you if you're in distress (and in general)
Makes sure to bring you a gift every day! Most of the time it's flowers he found around camp, but he will settle for a nice leaf as well
Tells you you're beautiful/handsome all the time (through sign and body language too). He did this before knowing too, but the guy loves giving you words of affirmation, even if he can't speak them
Kisses them often, his mom always used to do that when he got hurt, and it helped him, so he figures it'll help you a little bit too

can you do some soft johnny tcm headcanons? :3
yes
- i feel like if he really liked you and wanted to get you something, he would pick a sunflower or a flower from his yard. this just seems so him. and then he'd be like "oh it was nothing" and all sheepish about it, rubbing his neck
- i think he would totally be the type to walk on the side closest to the road. its just something he subconsciously does
- he would definitely be over protective. somebody talked bad to you? they're gone a week later.. totally not because he had anything to do with it
- he would do things he personally doesn't enjoy like go on dates or stargaze if it meant that his s/o was happy
- he's cheeky i feel it in my bones. he flirts, he teases, he does anything to make his partner flustered.
- i feel like sissy would know about your guys' relationship and she'd be real confused. she would pester him nonstop about why he hasn't killed you and the answer would be "i will soon" and he never does it.
- i think he's touchy away from people but in public i think he'd keep a hand or eye on you, maybe an arm around your waist or a hand on your hip.
thats all i could think of, sorry anon😖

Hey, could you please do some nubbins sawyer head canons, maybe about if you did his hair or makeup?
Of course! I love this!! 🖤🖤
Nubbins is the cutest I swear ☺️
(Also sorry I’ve been mia, life has been tough lately but tysm for all the love and support!🖤)
Tumblr media
He loves the idea!….Of you playing with his hair that is. Nubbins craves physical touch..good or bad. When you two first met he was sorta distant at first knowing you were uncomfortable with him, he was like a child-watching you from across the room to see if you would mind him pestering you.
Nubbins loves it when you play with his hair! He loves how soft your hands are and how gentle your touch is. He’ll let you style his hair any way you like just as long as he gets to sit between your legs.
Doing his makeup might need some persuading..Nubbins fear he will be picked on if his family saw. But if you reassure him that no one will see but you and that you will clean it off, he’ll let you.
He loves the attention, especially since it’s from you so expect him to get excited and start moving around. Even if you tell him to sit still he won’t.
Putting on mascara or eyeliner will be a nightmare due to his wiggles. Knowing Nubbins he is bound to have some type of outburst. So if you accidentally poke him In the eye(due to him moving) there’s a possibility he might push you away and yell. He might even get up and leave but trust he’ll come back to apologize and let you finish.
Once you finish his makeup he’ll ask you if he did good 🖤
He will definitely wanna style your hair and do your makeup next!

My Texas Chainsaw oc, as seen in Tales of a Homicidal Housewife.
I’m a traditional artist (pen and paper), and this is my first finished artwork using digital/procreate for my very first time. It’s soooo different and more difficult than what I’m used to. Please be nice — I know I rushed some bits but this was genuinely a learning experience for me.
I’d like to post more artwork of Rebecca and her endeavors, as well as her and Johnny. I’d also love to delve into aspects of her character I don’t thoroughly explain in the story, and how I’d envision her place in the video game.
I hope she’s well loved, because she is my pride and joy. (Also peep the intro from my favorite Tim Burton short.)

Cowboy!Leland x Afab!Reader
Tumblr media
You leaned your elbows over the paddock fencing, watching the man in the saddle as he directed the horse to walk circles around a pair of ex-beer barrels. You glanced at the folded bills in between your fingers, and then back up at the man. He'd been at it for about an hour, you'd been watching him from the porch of your house, but it still made very little sense to you. It made even less sense with how much you were paying him. Or, how much your brother was paying him.
The man noticed you staring, as you'd been there for several minutes already, and he tugged on the reigns, directing the horse away from the barrels as he approached you.
"Everythin' alright, miss?" He asked, the upper half of his face shadowed by the brim of a hat, but it didn't hide his gaze. He glanced back at the house, and then to you once more, squinting slightly. "You hurt, or-?"
"No, no, I'm not hurt. I just... What is it you're doin', exactly, Mister Mckinney?" You asked, motioning towards the horse, who shifted her head away at your movement.
"I'm trainin'er. You... You own a ranch, and you don't know what horse trainin' is?" He let out a quiet laugh, and you rolled your eyes with a scoff.
"I don't own the ranch. My brother does. I'm just stickin' around for a bit before I settle down. Watchin' the dogs and keepin' the house tidy while he's gone. Ain't the horse s'posed to come trained?" You asked, knitting your eyebrows in confusion.
"No, uh.. No, they don't all come trained," he chuckled. "I'm just helpin'er temperament. Gettin'er used to being ridden. You ever rode one before?"
"A horse?"
"Yeah...? Yeah, a- a horse," he clarified, not sure what else you'd be talking about.
"No."
"You wanna?" You narrowed your eyes, and he reached his hand down. He motioned towards the paddock fence. "Climb on up. I'll show ya. Just be real gentle, she won't hurt ya if yer easy on'er," he directed.
"I'm... not sure," you released a nervous laugh, but he shrugged.
"Why not? I'm right here. I ain't gonna let you fall 'r nothin'," he reassured, and you pursed your lips, contemplating the idea. After a moment, you tucked the money into your pocket and lodged your boot on the first wood level of the fence, climbing onto it. You took the man's hand, and he placed his other on your waist, helping you onto the horse. "Easy now, that's it," he hummed, doing his best to steady your wobbly motions.
He moved off the saddle slightly, giving you room to sit as you held onto a small handle-like wooden sculpture jutting out from the saddle. His hand was still on your hip, but he removed it once you seemed steady enough.
"See? You got it. Practic'ly a natural," he teased, and you looked down, realizing how high up you were. It was a little uncomfortable, but not terrible.
"That's it? What's all the talk 'bout then? Don't seem that special," you remarked, and he chuckled.
"Toss your leg over," he directed, and you did as he asked. He shifted closer to you, pressing his chest against your back and his arms against yours, the reigns still in his hands. "I'll go slow, don't freak out," he hummed, noticeably close to your ear, and you gave a slow nod.
His boots gently hit the horse's sides, and there was a bit of a jump as the horse moved into motion, leading you to nervously grasp the handle in front of you and lean forward. He leaned forward too, keeping his chest against you as you awkwardly bumped with the horse's every step.
"Surprised your brother owns a ranch and you ain't ever ridden a horse before. You lived here long?" He asked, and you shrugged.
"Not very. Traveled with a group for a while. Didn't end up workin' out. Came back here. Parents owned this old place and I just... never really got into it, I s'pose. Brother's always been for it. Guess he got the cowboy trait," you explained, your speech occasionally broken up by bumps in the horse's steps.
"Nah, I think you got some of it in'ya. You got good rhythm," he complimented, though you didn't quite understand what he meant. He tugged the horse to a stop, setting down the reigns momentarily and instead placing his hands on your arms, earning a shift from you. "Hold onto her mane, right there. Might be more comfortable. Real tight, it ain't gon' hurt her. You got it," he encouraged, guiding your hands to the closest section of a black mane, your wrists resting on the brown fur of the creature. "Ready?"
"Sure," you replied, and he kicked her back into motion, causing your body to jolt forward slightly, but once you found the 'rhythm' he spoke of, the positioning was slightly more comfortable. Sure, you could also feel his hips against yours with every single step, but were you really complaining? No.
"Better?" He asked, leaning down slightly once more; he wasn't as close as before, but you were still acutely aware of his body against yours. "You're doin' good for a beginner."
"Yeah, better," you replied, a small smile on your face at his praise. He guided the horse around the length of the perimeter, and when he reached roughly the same spot where he'd originally picked you up, he pulled her to a stop. You sat up, looking back at him. "Why'd you stop?"
"Well, I gotta get back to trainin', sweetheart. I ain't gettin' paid for nothin'," he chuckled, smiling innocently at the small frown on your face. "What're you poutin' for?"
"Can't we do one more lap? It was kinda relaxing," you requested, shrugging.
He narrowed his eyes, seeming rather confused at the question. "Well, you can always do it on yer own time. It is your horse, after all. I was just tryin' be a gentleman. You looked lonely," he answered.
"I was," you mumbled, looking back at the house. He furrowed his brows at the comment, but you continued speaking before he replied. "I ain't gonna have time to learn myself. I'll pay you."
"Oh, no, you ain't gotta do that. I- Are you askin' me to teach you, darlin?" He asked, and you gave a small nod, bringing a slight smile to his face. "That's awfully sweet of ya, but I ain't sure how your brother'd feel 'bout me takin' his little sister out on horseback. If you got hurt, I wouldn't-"
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him," you cut off, and the cowboy left his mouth slightly open, giving you an almost frustrated glare. You sat up all the way and turned back to him, reaching for his chin with your hand, but he stopped you before you could pull him into a kiss.
"Sweetheart, this really ain't a good idea. I- I don't mean to be rude, you're a fine lookin' lady, but I really do respect yer brother, and-"
"Just kiss me," you grumbled, pulling him closer again, and this time he didn't resist your tug. You leaned towards him until your lips were on his, and you closed your eyes, unable to keep yourself from smiling as you felt a hand on your hip.
After a moment, he pulled away, blinking at you with an almost empty gaze. You held it, remaining silent as he processed the interaction. And then he tugged you closer and kissed you again, gently squeezing your waist. He held it for much longer this time, to the extent where you had to be the one to break it off, catching your breath as he chuckled. "I take it you're wantin' more?"
"Preferably," you replied, and the brunette smiled. He placed his other hand on your waist and guided your leg back over the saddle, helping you off of the horse as your boots hit the dirt. You looked up at him with a frown, but he shook his head.
"Relax, I ain't one to leave a lady unsatisfied," he reassured. His fingers snuck under his hat and he removed it, setting it on your head instead. "Run along inside, I'll get this gal back in 'er stable and we can... talk about payment options," he teased. Your frown turned into a smirk as you climbed back over the paddock fence, and he dipped his head, shifting back onto the main seat of the saddle as he guided the horse towards the gate.
After watching him for a moment longer, you turned around and headed back into the house, a satisfied grin on your face. Sure, you didn't know how to ride horses, but you did know how to ride cowboys. Maybe it was time for him to learn a thing or two.

YOUR WRITING IS AMAZING 💞 i beg you to write some headcannons about the sawyers family with their s/o, in tcsm. with the new characters from the game if you can (sissy and johnny)?? thanks🫂
Sawyer Family x gn!reader basic hc’s
Omg this took way to long, writers block is a killer. I’m gonna admit I had to do some research and read some fics to get to know some of the characters I don’t usually write, but here we go<3
Disclaimer: the Sawyer family tree is so very very confusing, so the characters I went with: Bubba, Johnny, Sissy, Drayton(who is gonna be the older brother but more father figure bc his role is confusing), and Nubbins,
If I missed anyone, let me know and I wasn’t completely sure if you wanted this fluffy or smutty, so I went safe. If you did want smut, ask me please. And it shall be done:)
Bubba
•The sweetest boy, always reaching out to you for affection.
•He’s a big hugger, and a bear hugger too. Sometimes forgets how much bigger he is than most other people, but how can you say no? Even when he’s knocked the wind out of you with those big arms of his.
•He’s a simple man, he could die peacefully and fulfilled in your embrace.
•PRAISE HIM!
•He corrects himself on accidental roughness, tell him he’s doing such a good job and he’ll melt.
•Sometimes he gets easily frustrated because of people not understanding his intentions, so be patient with him. Reward him with hugs and cuddles and he’ll be satisfied.
•Late night talks! Even if it’s more enthusiastic grunts and whines. You’ll both be lying in bed and he’ll just be babbling happily about his day, or about how much he loves you with the widest grin on his face.
•He’s never really had a ‘relationship’ before, so there are times when you have to remind him what’s appropriate in front of the family and what’s not.
•Like sometimes he’ll get really excited, and start kissing you all over.
•But it’s at the dinner table, and some people in this Texan conservative household don’t want to see that PDA.
•His brothers and sister just love teasing him left and right about you, and he couldn’t care less. He loves you, and he’d tell the whole world if he could.
•The warm humidity of Texas is all he’s ever known, so one night there’s a weird and sudden cold snap, and he is absolutely freezing. You aren’t allowed to move from being his personal heating pad.
•But you aren’t complaining, trapped in a pile of blankets with the man you love isn’t the worst way to go.
•Sometimes he’ll go hunting in the forest and bring you back wild fowl, or something other than what the Sawyers all usually eat.
•Sure he wants you to be part of the family, but he notices the way your face scrunches up at the prospect of eating other people.
•It confused him at first, then it clicked that you didn’t like eating people. Like how he didn’t like his vegetables(or that’s how he thought about it).
•So he brings you other more humane alternatives.
•He hates rain and storms, they confuse him. As nobody took the time to explain to him what was happening, why everything was so loud and dark.
•It takes a lot of convincing and encouragement until he’s not cowering in fear at the thunder and lightning(thinking of making a one shot about this tbh).
•To sum it all up, he’s hopelessly in love, and he’d do anything and everything to protect you, and make you happy. He loves the feeling of your soft skin on his. Even if you have rougher hands, it’s nothing compared to his, and he loves it.
•Be gentle with this man, love him to death I beg<3
Johnny
•He’s a cocky bastard, even before you were officially together he was treating you like you were married to him under the state.
•Has absolutely no shame, and he will make out with you in front of Sissy to make her annoyed.
•He’s hyper fixated and persistent, meaning he will get what he wants eventually. So it’s better not to fight him on it(whatever it may be).
•Just like with Bubba, he is teased RELENTLESSLY. More so about how soft you make him. Or how whipped he is for you.
•Whenever he does something remotely sweet or nice to you in front of his siblings(and sometimes even his father and mother) he’ll get a sharp whistle and a chorus of teasing and laughter.
• “Wow Johnny, you really are just a softie huh?”
• “Shut it..”
•He’d never admit it to his family, but he would do anything for you.
•Any guy(or girl frankly) makes the mistake of catcalling or harassing you? They’re dead on the news the next morning.
•As I said even BEFORE you guys were officially dating.
•And he’s a jealous jealous man, so even if it was a misperceived or imaginary threat, it’s enough for him to kill them.
•He tries to be normal for you at first, tries to ignore the taunting from his family that he’ll slip up and scare you away.
•Then he quickly discovers your a freaky little thing by nature, even if your a little freaked out at first.
•Because who wouldn’t want a boyfriend so obsessed with you that he’ll murder for you?
•He likes it when you touch his hair, especially when he’s all sweaty from one thing or another.
•He won’t make you eat people, sometimes he doesn’t either. Not because he’s disgusted by it, more so because he gets bored of just one thing.
•The type to decide when you wake up, whether he’s up before you or not. Sometimes he’s clinging onto your midsection telling you ‘just five more minutes’ for the next hour and a half,
• Other times it’s a note left on your nightstand after he’s left to do farm chores, saying If I see you up before 11 so help me god’
Sissy
•She personally lives for the thrill of bringing you(male, female or other) back home to her family. Specially her daddy.
•She doesn’t hide anything about her life from you even from the beginning. Meaning she expects the same blatant transparency.
•Loves annoying her brothers, mostly Johnny.
•She refuses softness in front of her family because as stated prior, she knows she’ll be made fun of excessively for it.
•That’s not to say she isn’t clingy and all over you.
•She is, it’s just much less ‘lovey dovey’ more ‘this person is mine, touch them and I’ll kill you’.
•She loves when you treat her, growing up she was often overlooked by her family, or even underestimated.
•Buy her something pretty, or something like a plant and she’ll be even more in love.
•She’s never liked loud animals, but she likes cats. Despite her family’s protests, onetime when she was a kid Nubs tried to kill a cat for lunch, she beat him silly. Saved the poor orange kitty and fed it for years.
•Her favourite colour is orange because of that.
•She sleeps like she’s constantly taking up to much space, she curls into one side of the bed and tries to keep there.
•It would be greatly appreciated if you pulled her close, let her uncurl from her little self created ball.
Drayton
•This man has his moments, and I’m not completely sure how I feel about him.
•The Sawyer family often picks on each other and teases each other but Drayton and Nubbs often take it just a little too far.
•His younger siblings are constantly poking fun at his attempts at leadership, and I feel like that makes him a deeper character then I’ve really thought about before.
•He’s a classic older cowboy type, a gentleman with a very stereotypical older brother vibe.
•He tries to keep his family safe, and that includes you when you find your way into his heart.
•He isn’t exactly ‘sweet’ but he can commit to sentimental gestures if that’s something you like.
•The occasional bouquet of wild flowers on your nightstand, or a kiss on the cheek before he goes out for work in the morning.
•He often judges himself too harshly, his decisions and his ability to lead his family, just tell him he’s doing good. He’ll melt in your hands like putty.
•His siblings often make risky choices just to show they can, and it stresses him out(more than he’ll show or admit).
•He can be bad at minding his manners, especially when people are riling him up.
•All he needs is someone to come home too, someone who can appreciate him for all he does and all he tries to do.
(His is really short but I’m unfamiliar with his character😂)
Nubbins
•He’s definitely the most openly clingy if the bunch, he’ll stick to your side like he’s glued there.
•Whether you’re going for a drive into town, or just getting up to go make something for yourself, he’s on your tail.
•He loves being pressed up against you, barely(if any) space between your bodies.
•It makes him feel safe.
•Drayton, Johnny and Sissy often tease him for being dumb, but he’s not dumb! You don’t think so..right?
•Unlike many of the others, if he needs your reassurance, he’ll ask you for it.
•He loves it when you run your fingers through his hair, or down his back.
•He tries to be polite, at least after you teach him what exactly that means.
•He’s very possessive, some days when there isn’t any work that needs done, he’ll just hold you hostage in your bed.
•He loves sunrises, sometimes he wakes up at a specific time just to watch them(his internal clock).
Some of these are shorter than others, if you want anymore specific head cannons let me know, or any other characters<3 have a lovely day.

[TCSM] Johnny x Reader
Tumblr media
➢ Cellar Door summary: just like in the game, you've woken up in the sawyer household and need to escape with your friends. it's your job to escape, though you may or may not have gotten some help along the way. (gender neutral, self-insert)
warnings: blood, minor violence, suggested gore (but honestly nothing 2 cray oops) a/n: this is just the first part and my first time writing fanfic/posting anything on tumblr so pls be nice oop ⸻
Darkness. Silence. How you got here was unknown but you were also just waking up, feeling blanketed by an exhausted haze as senses slowly crept back in.
Tired eyes eventually flickered open to reveal an unfamiliar room encased around you; shades of ocher becoming a wooden door, muddy walls, nobody else in sight. Was this a cellar? Some type of basement? Every blink dissipated visual blur just a bit more until you were able to realize the world was upside-down and, peering towards what should have been the ceiling, the terrain underneath looked less than comfortable to land on. Wait, what was holding you up then? Your hands were free, but as more time passed and differing senses were starting to slowly make their way back to your psyche, your feet felt more restricted than what was normal. Eyes travel downwards, chin tucked to chest—stretching, arching to see that there's a frayed rope tying them together that's attached to the ceiling. What the fuck was going on?
With your heartbeat in your ears and a sudden urgency to feel freedom again, there's a short stretch of writhing and exerted effort that's needed in order to squeeze one or two digits underneath the rope; loosening it from your skin and ultimately getting it undone within a timely manner. That came with an unpleasant drop though that'd knock the air from your lungs, making it rather difficult to catch a full take of breath that didn't feel warm, much like your cheeks that were still attempting to settle with all of the blood that had rushed towards them. There's a coolness to the dirt that makes it worth relaxing in while your body begins to fire off signals of all the pain points that heightened across bruised legs, brandished arms; marks that couldn't even make it within your peripheral.
Something was clearly wrong but… you were also here for a reason.
To find Maria Flores, yeah. Ana's sister. Wait, where was Ana? A sudden scream in the distance provides the answer that you most likely weren't looking for while simultaneously providing the drive needed to finally stand up and move; eager to find a way out of wherever the fuck it is you've been locked in. Palms to ash, then wrapping around a dirtied door handle—was that blood?—you make your way out of the room and in the opposite direction of what sounded like a chainsaw in the distance that drowned out cries of agony from what could only be assumed as your friend. Julie, Connie and Sonny were also here too, right? And Leland, you couldn't forget about Leland. He was the one that came up with this whole idea. Whether or not it was for Ana or for his own hatred for the local police department and their lack of support in this case was debatable.
There's so much to process with each step taken and crying was completely understandable in a situation like this. Left to right, right to left, the walls were narrow and severely lacked any indication of direction. Everything looked the same. It was like an underground tunnel of nightmares where bones hung from the ceiling, some left in piles on the ground, if not shoved in the walls. The further you went, shimmying through tight spaces that were just narrow enough for you to squeeze through, there'd be a gruesome discovery of the bodies the bones once belonged to; their blood being strained into bins from hand-made contraptions, like tree saps. Who does something like this? Some people found things like this interesting while others found it nauseating. Either way, you were unable to make eye-contact with anything but what lied straight ahead, illuminated by questionable light sources that were intermittently placed along the walls. Darkness was a theme more often than not.
It concealed you if there was ever a moment you needed to take a breather, hide in a corner, attempt to gather scattering thoughts. Perhaps there was enough bravery to come up with a strategic plan. There was still no sign of any of your friends but that awful chainsaw still echoed in the distance, far, far away so that was a sign that things weren't all that bad. The potential for circumstances to be worse were always there but fate had different plans for you on this day. Something or someone was one step ahead of where you currently stood, having opened a door that was heavy in structure; fenced on the right side, allowing for transparency of the stairs that lead upwards of this hellhole. An opened padlock lay in the dust as your feet pass by it, carrying your body up the stairs in whatever way felt right. Sneaking, rushing, taking two stairs at a time—it was an open exit that appeared completely safe from the angle you were coming from. A red wall with skulls of various animals stared back at you but there weren't any shadows or other general sounds to alert you to the fact there was potentially anyone around, just the sound of a television in the distance. You'd just go the opposite way, right?
Breaching the top of the steps, it became quickly apparent that it didn't matter which way you went or how cautious you were when climbing the stairs; escaping from the sudden grasp of a dirty, gloved hand over your mouth and a knife aimed towards your throat was something that nobody could've seen coming. What's strange though is that… it feels defensive? The movements were performed so quickly, as if this person was expecting you, moving both of your bodies out of potential danger that rounded the corner just as you were dragged around another; back pressed to a heaving chest behind you.
"Useless… fucking Johnny," Mumbled a disgruntled, deeper voice that travelled down the stairs you had just emerged from, "Can't even fucking lock the doors…"
Johnny? Who was Johnny, and who was holding you right now? It's not as if you're at the liberty to ask any questions but the temptation is there, brimming over with each moment that passes as you're held as a helpless hostage. Suddenly, a coarsen voice whispers in your ear.
"Any sudden movements and I'll slit your throat."
It's said with a certainty that makes it sound like this man owns those words. He's repeated them a thousand times before and you're no different, "I'm going to let you go and you're going to quietly make your way upstairs. Left, around the corner, up the stairs…" It was a circle from where you came from so the instructions aren't that difficult to remember. Following them was a different story, "When you get up there, it's two doors on the right. Any other way and you're good as dead, you understand?" There's a part of you that doesn't quite know if this was a threat or an aid; someone providing false hope in a situation that already felt dire. Soothing rolls of an accent are tempting to abide to though, at least for a fleeting moment.
Loosening the rather vigorous hold this person had on you, it offers enough room to nod if you felt so compelled as to offer an answer, if not provide him with a muffled groan or no answer at all. Regardless, he lets you go with the departing gift of the dirt, debris and the taste of unkempt fabric on your lips, pushing your body over towards the left as this darker-haired man rounds the corner on the right. He's built, defined arms exposed by a muscle shirt that was potentially covered in blood but he left in such a quick haste that you weren't able to stick around and check. The shorter mullet was the last thing you had seen beyond muscles and worn-out jeans, so it's with that information and the sound of his accent that you can assume this was his home—his family house maybe? You were still in Texas, that was for sure.
Time was of the essence though and as you begin to follow through with the way you were pushed, there's the quick realization that on the other side of the wall separating you from the staircase, there's also a front door within the vicinity. It's a brief taste of freedom, fooling the senses into thinking you'd smell fresh air again before the sight of a padlock over several other fastening devices catches your eye. Even if you were the world's best locksmith, something like that would take far longer than what this stranger was giving you; his voice ringing in from the other side of the household.
"She went through the back! I saw her out in the field! Go 'get, I'll handle Grandpa."
Whoever he was talking to was quick to voice their displeasure in the matter, exuding a fuss that sounded rather personally charged, "You don't tell me what to do, Johnny!" She insisted, but… her footsteps, followed by the sudden slam of a door said otherwise. Why was this guy lying for you? You had a name for him now at least. Johnny. How sick was it if this guy was isolating you, leading everyone away from the apparent prize that was your death just so he could have it all to himself. Or was he actually trying to help you? Surely, there was kindness to be found in a place that smelled of nickel and soured food; the walls rotting worse than mystery meat that leaked and stained a nearby table you'd almost bump into. Especially if it were coming from the guy who had just held a knife to your neck and threatened to kill you?
But he didn't. And here we are.
Finally ascending the stairs, coming out of the shroud of darkness that was the main floor of the house and heading towards the top floor, everything appeared to have been brighter than anywhere you had seen since waking up. The contrast of white, fluorescent lighting against the flowered wallpaper on your right also serves as an indication that there was no sunlight coming through the few windows that weren't fully covered by curtains. How long had you been here? It was daytime when you came in, as remembered by the way Leland shielded his eyes from the sun with his hands, complaining about a lack of sunglasses as Ana said anything but I told you so. She had a habit of being the most level-headed one in the group. You? You were always a little bit… unique. Everyone had a different dynamic with you, one that solidified some friendships with certain individuals more than others but as a group, everyone got along. It's why you all came here together, and it's why you were determined to live long enough to leave and see them all again after this was all over.
Such a motivational thought was enough to blur the movements between climbing the stairs and following the instructions that were given to you to survive. Second on the right, second on the right…
Your eyes travel side to side despite what words travel through your mind, feet carrying forward. On the right was one door, then a hall—a turning point that was potentially the right way, but there were also two doors on the left. Did he mix them up? Did you remember it wrong? Was this all a trap? It sure felt like it but there's no way to definitively say so until there's something to prove otherwise. Unfortunately for you though, there wasn't much of a chance to find out before the smell of husk hits you before the warm pressure of a body against yours; the cool touch of a knife to your throat tingling all the right senses once again.
"You're kind of cute. Listening to someone with a weapon and all."
He's teasing you. Still speaking quietly, as if there's a reason to hide the fact that you two are together in this house of horrors, but there's an obvious amusement in the situation you two are in, "Now why would you trust somebody in a place like this?" The question does make you think, even if it feels like static against the back of your eyes or prickling at the front. Johnny didn't have a preference for those who cried, no matter how good it looked on them, "After what happened to your friend? Maria, was it?"
Whichever way the question made you feel, there isn't much of a chance to flounder in those thoughts as Johnny lowers the knife; taking your hand in his within the same harsh movements he uses to drag you off towards where you may or may not have considered going before, the right. It was still technically the second door, the first one around the corner with no differing features from the other entries you had seen across the way or even on the other side of the hall. However, if you really felt the need to compare, Johnny wasn't going to wait around; reaching past you in order to rip the door open and shove both of you through to the other side. The only gentle thing about this entire interaction was how cautiously he had closed the entry afterwards, turning his back towards you in order to press a gloved palm against the structure; latching it closed with a golden clink.
That was the only exit from you can see. A quick glance around the room would've made it pretty clear that this was a bedroom, hosting a single bed—flowery blankets, hospital-like railing, unmade—a vanity and other arbitrary surroundings that were potentially less interesting than the man behind you. Whether or not this was his room wasn't the first question in mind, although it swirls around the other varying pathways you've been given the time to mull over. Two hands pushing against your shoulder blades are what tune you out of those same thoughts, shoving your body into the bed that forces you to fold over it rather than be disturbed. Nailed to the floor was your best guess.
"Now… how do we feel about another lesson?"
Johnny's voice finally matched the higher volume of what were louder, hefty footsteps, most likely caused by steel-toed boots adorned to the man's feet. You were able to consider the footwear as the serial killer special based off of what knowledge you had but that was perhaps the most innocent thought of yours as this man slowly approached you.
With nowhere left to turn, there was the option of either facing the next development or ignoring it. And were you going to keep Johnny waiting?
