Police Officer
Part:I|II|III
Characters: Nubbins, Bubba, Chop-Top, Drayton
Warning: cannon typical violence, corrupt cop!reader, cop!reader, cannibalism, slight NSFW, mention of being shot
Gender: gender neutral, m4f, m4m, m4n
A/N: Basically what the title says lol. There may be a few things I missed in the warnings so please proceed with caution.
Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nubbins Sawyer:
•He somehow always know exactly what road you will be patrolling and proceeds to hitchhike on that one when he starts heading home
•Loves how you make sure that he and his family doesn't get caught
•Helps you burn and destroy all evidence against him and his family
•Drayton respects you for keeping his family off the radar and keeping his younger brother at least slightly more under control
•He definitely hides in the back of your car/truck to go with you to work
•He gets to antsy and reveals himself not long after you start heading towards town
•He has done it so many times that you have to check everytime you get into any car/truck for him in the back
•He is way more clingy then he normally is when you have to take care of a dangerous individual
•If you get shot, expect multiple tantrums if you try to get out of bed (even if you had a bullet proof vest on)
•Doesn't want you to lose your job, but also hates when you have to leave
•Won't force you to eat human, but will get slightly disappointed
•Has 'pranked' you by replacing whatever meat you cooked for yourself with Drayton's barbeque
•Has wanted to use your handcuffs on you before, whether you let him or not is up to you
Tumblr media
Bubba Sawyer:
•Doesn't really understand why you are with him if you know what he does
•Hates killing infront of you
Unaware that they have had several cases built against them that you stopped from happening completely by removing/destroying any incriminating evidence such as fingerprints and such
•Doesn't believe he or his family deserves you
•Doesn't necessarily like when you are partnered with a guy, even if you reassure him that he is the only man for you
•Panicked squeal when he finds out you got hurt on the job
•Makes you stay sitting in the basement until you are better
•Drayton doesn't really care, just as long as you don't get in the way of Bubba's chores
•Will hug and cuddle you if he finds out that you had to deal with a very dangerous individual that day
•Doesn't like when you leave, but understands  your need to work
•Definitely won't force you to eat human, however if you want to he will be pretty happy
Tumblr media
Robert "Choptop" Sawyer:
•Likes riding with you in your cop car/truck and blasting music while you are patrolling
•"WHAT?! YOU GOT SHOT?!"
•Panics so hard you'd think he was the one who got shot
•Your not going back into work for the next two weeks
•"I-I don't care if y-y-you were in a bullet proof vest, you are not leaving me."
•Thinks that you both can trauma bond since he was in a war
•As long as you cause no trouble, Drayton has no issues
•Is aware that you help the family stay under the radar, and is so thankful for that
•King of police jokes
•"No, wait, please, Mx.Officer, please, don't hurt me!" "Don't worry, I'm not gonna touch you." "...Why not?!" (Creds to ailaughatmyownjokes on tiktok)
•^The embodiment of this statement
•Is actually really into cop role play, so you being an actual cop is so hot to him
•Really wants you to use your cuffs on him and cuff him up in your car/truck and ride him into oblivion
•Genuinely loves watching when you have to tackle people to the ground
•Wishes it was him
•Over all probably the most thirsty with the most disgusting nasty thoughts in the family
Tumblr media
Drayton Sawyer:
•Is honestly surprised you even wanna be with him in the first place
•You're a cop? Cool, you can't meet his family until he can sit down with you and tell you about what he and his family do
•You're alright with it? Welcome to the family
•Is aware but also isn't aware at the same time that you are 99% of the reason they haven't been found out yet
•You don't wanna eat human? goes to kitchen for about 5 minutes and moves stuff about
•walks back in and hands you the exact same plate Heres your non-human meal!
•Just eat it for his sake please, he wants one person to not complain
•Honestly finds how gentle and sweet you are to Bubba adorable, but he'd never say that
•Likes how you can get both Chop and Nubbins to chill with just a whistle
•Or if you can't whistle(like me), a yell
•Doesn't freak out per say if you get shot or hurt, but definitely doesn't want you going back to work for a while
•Isn't exactly turned on just because of you being a cop, but he can kinda see the appeal when you start getting out of your uniform for a shower
•This man has on more than one occasion went directly into the police station with human meat in a bag for you

Does anyone know if we ever get/got Leathers real name? We know Mike, Ghost(Joey) and Jay but I can’t find anything for Leather. I’m Considering it’s probably something similar to Leatherface so the possible options are Bubba Sawyer, Junior Sawyer, Thomas Hewitt, Jedidiah Sawyer, Kenneth Slaughter. Personally, Leather looks like a Thomas to me.

This Date In Manka Bros. History - December 1, 1915
Years before Warner Bros. made millions on the Rin Tin Tin movies in the 1920s (starring the hero dog from World War 1), Manka Bros. produced a less successful series of films set during The Balkan Wars featuring ‘General Cluck Cluck - The Bulgarian Chicken Who Crushed The Ottoman Empire.’

Men, Women, and Chainsaws – Carol J. Clover
[TEXT ID: Beyond that, the slasher evinces a fascination with flesh or meat itself as that which is hidden from view. When the hitchhiker in Texas Chain Saw I slits open his hand for the thrill, the onlookers recoil in horror-all but Franklin, who seems fascinated by the realization that all that lies between the visible, knowable outside of the body and its secret insides is one thin membrane, protected only by a collective taboo against its violation. It is no surprise that the rise of the slasher film is concomitant with the development of special effects that let us see with our own eyes the "opened" body.]

What would the dynamic in the family be if Thomas's first and potentially only child is a female? Will she have a hard time because of her circumstances, will she be regarded as more of an unwanted child because she was born a girl, and therefore, getting insults about being useless, or will she be handled with care?
This is a wonderful question!
How Thomas + The Hewitts Would React to a Daughter
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・.
Thomas:
Thomas never thought he'd have the privilege of having children, he was always focused on the job at hand. When that changed, however, Thomas was thrilled - Anxious, but thrilled. He didn't care if the child was male or female, they were his child, and he would love them as such.
Honestly, Thomas seems like such a girl-dad. Idk why, that's just how he reads to me.
In fact, he'd be more protective of a daughter than a son - Especially if she inherited some of his traits {such as his skin condition}. He'll love her to the ends of the Earth just as he would a son. I don't think Thomas would teach his children gender roles; He'd be more focused on their survival and fulfillment than some irrational societal performance. He never fit into society anyway, and he fit the gender roles just fine?
He'd rely on Luda Mae for a lot of parenting guidance: Doing her hair {by this I mean literally just taking care of it}, dressing her {as in finding clothes that suit her}, and discussions of puberty. He does NOT feel comfortable explaining that {not that he really could, anyway.}
What he will teach his child{ren} no matter the age or gender, is to be strong. Mentally strong more than anything. He wants his children to be able to survive, but not be forced to. He'd work himself to the bone if it meant his partner and {their} children could be comfortable, and safe.
He'd also sew his child{ren} stuffed animals, blankets, and some clothes - with guidance of his momma of course 🫀 He loves family very very much.
Luda Mae:
Gosh, Luda Mae would be in the seventh Heaven! She's wanted a daughter her whole life, having a granddaughter is even better. She'd offer to help with everything: Clothes, hair, babysitting, anything you could think of. And you know she'd be ever so protective of her granddaughter - Men will go nowhere near her without proving themselves fit {Thomas would hold the same view}.
Really wants to teach her how to cook, sew, bake, sing, and take care of the house - Traditionally feminine things, y'know? Luda grew up traditional, it'll most likely bleed into her granddaughter. She'll always call her "Sweetheart" - "Baby" - "Angel" - anything endearing and sweet, really. Very very affirmative of her granddaughter dearest 🫀
Luda will sing lullabies, read to her, probably invite her to tea with Kathryn/Tea Lady. She's a very comforting grandma :)
Now, I know we're having fun in la-la-land, but we gotta go back to TCM 2003 for a minute.
Luda Mae is a strong, independent, and direct woman. She will NOT tolerate ANY disrespect - Never. If her granddaughter acts out, consequences will be appointed.
Hoyt:
Now, I know what the immediate answer SEEMS to be: "Oh, Hoyt would hate that Thomas had a daughter instead of a son - He's a misogynist who hates all women!" And listen, I thought this too UNTIL I re-watched the TCM 2003 movie just to make sure. During one of the final scenes: 1:12:10 - 1:28:40, Hoyt can be seen peering over Henrietta and Luda Mae, looking down at the {unnamed} baby. He seems very affectionate {for Hoyt} - Smiling and cooing at her {Yes, the baby is confirmed female "She's mine"}
The truth is, I don't think Hoyt would mind it all too much. Would he have preferred a nephew? Yeah - But he loves his niece just the same. He'll teach her how to shoot, how to hunt, throw a punch, be strategic, and he'll definitely teach her a.."wide vocabulary."
He'd definitely be the type to say "this type of stuff ain't for women, young lady." For example:
"Now ___, I know you wanna get yer hands dirty like yer daddy and I, but this type of game isn't for little ladies like yourself."
Depending on how sassy Thomas' daughter is, Hoyt's tolerance for her will differ. If she's a foul-mouthed sassy sailor, Hoyt's patience will decreased as compared to an "innocent naive angel."
He's also..terrified, to say the least. He'll be wayyy more cautious about his remarks around Tommy's daughter - Afraid of how Thomas {and Luda Mae} will react.
Oh - and Hoyt will be one of the first to offer advice and protection for his niece, especially if she starts dating:
"He called you what? - Ugly? Hell, let's see this fella; See how 'ugly' he can get."
"Now ___, don't you be dating any soy-boys, make sure a man can take care of ya real nice, y'hear?"
He loves her, but he's not an affectionate {or kind} guy.
Henrietta:
God, she is so so so jealous - She's always wanted kids, but never had the opportunity to have some of her own. She'll definitely offer to babysit any chance she gets. She'd offer the same things as Luda Mae, just more often. Oh! And she'd be a wonderful..aunt? Second cousin? Idk what she would be in relation to Thomas' daughter, but she'd be wonderful at it! Always open to talk, and very very supportive.
{Uncle} Monty:
Would not care. At all. Leave him alone and he's all good 👍
"Stop staring at me with them bug eyes.."
"Girl, would you get me a beer?"
"Thomas! Get your daughter to stop taking my damn cane!"
"If you keep touching 'im {the dog}, he'll bite you."
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・.
Okay yay! Sorry for Henrietta and Monty's parts being short, I just don't see huge influence with the two of them - Plus Hen's basically Luda Mae 2.0, just less strict.

Propaganda
Jimmy Stewart (The Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington)—Ough I saw him first in It's A Wonderful Life, where he is very charming as a suicidal family man being absolutely crushed by capitalism. But then. The Philadelphia Story, in my opinion, should get the same kind of press The Mummy does for being a bisexual dream. Now I'm not really bi (not into women) and it's honestly up for debate whether i'm attracted to men or not, but COME ON!! The movie stars James Stewart as well as Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn (and Ruth Hussey). Stewart plays a common working man, a journalist, to contrast with Grant's character, who is mega-rich. He is scrappy and hates rich people. Hot! They have a whole scene together where he's super drunk and being really physical with his acting, which I love because he is kinda wet noodle shaped. Hot! He carries Hepburn in his arms while singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Hot! He gets punched in the face by Cary Grant. Hot!!! In The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, we get to see him portray an alternative type of masculinity, opposite John Wayne doing John Wayne. He is even more wet noodle-y, to put emphasis on his incompatibility with the rugged masculinity of the cow-boy, he wears an apron for a lot of the film, again, to blur his masculinity, and he gets shot. Hot! Also he's older here, if that's your thing. Long story short: He's giving librarian chic and The Philadelphia Story made me want to be poly.

Propaganda
Mr. Jordan (Here Comes Mr. Jordan) - Comfort personified. Just the right amount of warm fuzzy and his voice is the equivalent of a blanket fresh from the dryer, a warm beverage, and a roaring fire while there's rain pouring down from the sky. He puts me at ease and I adore him so. What I wouldn't give to have him be my personal guardian angel. He always seems to have everything under control and knows just the right thing to say in the moment. This was apparently a favorite role of his and he plays it to perfection. He seems to float through life and his performance is heavenly, pun intended. With him, everything just seems alright in the world.
Erique Claudin (Phantom of the Opera) - My favorite Phantom! Does it differ wildly from the book? Yes. Do I care? NO! Claudin starts the movie by BREAKING YOUR HEART IN TWO and then after the first act he gets to lean into the creep factor by murdering people who get in the way of him helping his daughter achieve her opera goals. While the father/daughter story was cut from the final film, you can 100% see it in Claude Rains' wonderful performance that this is a man so filled with regret at leaving his infant daughter 20 years ago, that he is willing to do anything to help her succeed…even if she doesn't know that he's the one helping her.
This poll is part of the quarterfinals for The King of the Claudes tournament and all other matchups can be found here!
Additional Propaganda under the cut!
**Erique Claudin has a lot of propaganda, so we are attaching what we can and making another separate propaganda post to include all submissions, which you can find HERE**
Mr. Jordan
He's literally so perfect in every single way. He could fix me. I also love it that we get to see how kind and gentle Claude can be when compared to his other villainous roles. If this character and his character from 'Angel on My Shoulder' had a crossover, I think I could die a happy girl. :)

Erique Claudin
This movie is gorgeous and the storytelling is a masterpiece! I don't care what anyone says, this is my favorite adaptation of Phantom and Claude sells it perfectly. He's excellent at toeing the line between a masked mad man and a caring individual and I will be forever fuming about how the father/daughter relationship wasn't official. To me, it will be! He's just the right amount of soft fondness and I was squealing because of how adorable he is when he stammers.

Note
rank the chainsaw scary movies. Your favorite & least fav
OH THIS IS SUCH A FUN ASK
im horrible at articulating my sentences sometimes so excuse me for that
i haven't yet gotten to watch tcm 3D, Leatherface, All American Massacre, or the latest 2022 movie, so this'll only be until tcm 2006 and might change when I get to watch the rest of the movies!! my rankings i'd say aren't by any means out there, but i digress
I'll be discussing some points about each of movies, which may contain spoilers!! So if you're planning to watch the movies, beware...
1.) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Tumblr media
of couuurse my favorite is the original one muahahahah... it's raw, timeless and just awsum. I always find myself rewatching this one
For a movie called Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it was interesting to come in blind and find it wasn't as edgy as I was expecting at first and hell! Half of the movie is pretty bright visually! So to me the film feels almost surreal and dreamy and kind of sweaty (ok. this is my post i choose the adjective) and i think that just adds to the cannibal family thing. Especially the dinner scene, and just. The Sawyer family in general.
Another thing that i like about this movie is that it has almost next to no background music with only sound effects to accentuate it. It's what makes things like the flashbulb sound effect so iconic and associated with the movie. AND AND WHEN IT COMES TO THE KILLS GAH. GAH. GAH. Kirks death especially, with how soundless and quick it is. and the CRACK ARRRRGH ONLY A SIMPLE CRACK. And also his death shakes when he's on the ground. So animalistic to me. AND BUBBA SLAMMING THE SLIDING DOOR JUST SCREAMING. YEAH, THIS IS HOW THE MOVIE IS GONNA BE. IM GONNA TEAR MY HAIR OUT AND JUMP AT YOU
Additionally, I always liked Nubbins' first appearance in the movie― he was perfectly strange!!! and he really set the tone for the rest of the Sawyer family later on in the film. And speaking of tone, comparing the first half of the movie to the latter half when Sally's held captive, is just. GRAAAAGHH. Of course, with it being day in the beginning, it's really easy to breathe in yk and then skip to the dinner scene and it feels almost suffocating to watch. So like!! Imagine actually being Sally in there, man!!! Argh!!! This movie's so fun!!!!
AND I'M NOT BRUSHING OVER BUBBA OH NONONON. LEATHERFACE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! I remember seeing a comment before on why Bubba feels so unnerving, and they mention how he's never still (or so that's how the comment goes iirc). Fidgety, frantic, and like he's never really ready (especially during and after his encounter with Pam, and when he's in his grandma mask and interacting with Drayton). And for Tobe Hooper to confirm that Leatherface kills out of fear really puts his mannerisms into perspective. AAARRRRGHHHH BUBBA SAWYER IM GOING TO LUNGE AT YOU RIPPING THE CURTAINS TO SHREDS WITH MY TEETH Also idk if it's just me, but I always thought Bubba handled his chainsaw way smoother than when he's without it. Makes me think of how the chainsaw is all he knows. Yknow? what if I just COLLAPSED RIGHT NOW. OK. WHAT IF I JUST
Also a lil' thing― the title itself (putting this here since this is the first movie after all) what a specific title i love love love! Makes it sound so real like an actual event
Not to mention the behind the scenes of the movie with the Texas heat and the lengthy recordings. I'm gonna stop there though because there's like. Five more movies to rank here but yeah!!!! Love the 1974^_^collapses and goes unconscious
2.) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2006)
Tumblr media
TOOOOMMMY S aTHOAMSN S HEWEI T T D. MY TOM SCRATCHING AT THE GLASS OF MY ENCLOSURE . OK. HI. HI. HI. HI. HI. OK. HI.
It's definitely a reaaaally close fight between the 2003 and 2006 movies. So consider these two like. really Really REALLY close together
Ohh, what a blistering movie that doesn't let you breathe for even a minute. Maybe I've gotten attached to this movie, but oh, I love the family!! Fucked up motherfuckers!!!!! Luda Mae so lovely, Charlie's a little bitch, and why did they make uncle Monty piss! Sure ok!
Love how intense the family is even though they're all wrinkly n old. Like the push-ups scene with Hoyt and Dean was crazy with the brief snippets of Luda Mae tenderly wiping Bailey's face and singing to her. They're an almost domineering presence, and so I can only imagine how it is to Thomas.
AND SPEAKING. OF WHICH. HOYT AND THOMAS. "That's one of those assholes that used to fuck with you in the schoolyard, Tommy!" ― Hoyt knows Thomas and he uses that to his advantage. Sure, he says Tommy's misunderstood, sure he's nice and plays into Tommy's little hobbies with comments like "I like your new face", but whuff he's not any better using the man to be his dog to dish out punishment. Like, I think that little line really sums up what I think their relationship is. A manipulation of Thomas' insecurities, twisting everything to make it seem like this is all Thomas needs and all he's cut out for, and Hoyt trying to justify it by instilling an 'us vs them' kind of mentality in him. I imagine such a mentality starts to affect his behavior like in the beginning of the movie when Tommy lashes out and kills the slaughterhouse supervisor
And Thomas. I'll be so normal ok. He's definitely not as expressive as Bubba is, but that only gives him more of a trained dog feel to him. It's all he's known, and he'll be damned if he fails to be the one thing Hoyt expects of him. With Hoyt ordering him around the entire movie, it's almost like Hoyt's the actual killer the movie should be focusing on because! Man. I'm taking the biker scene again for reference― Thomas seemingly hesitating after throwing the biker to the ground at the behest of Hoyt is proof enough that this man is barely acting out of his own will. He looked like he was circling and just waiting around for what Hoyt tells him to do, like killing's the last thing on his mind until Hoyt incriminates the biker. Thomas is only going by what his family has deemed normal and I'm going to explode
3.) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Tumblr media
you can't lie and say Thomas' entry wasn't cool in this movie; uncle Monty called that man in and he finally got to do the WWE entrance he'd been dreaming of. Anyway, gah!!! What a remake!!!! I'd say the group in this movie have alot more character to them which i like.
Super gritty. Wastes no time with the hitchhiker just. Doing that in their fucking van! Okay girl! AND JUST. THE SHOT OF THEM SCREAMING IN THE VAN AND THE CAMERA GOING THROUGH LIKE. WHAT! OKAY!! Ugh and then their reactions the moment they get out of the van.
so raw of them in continuing to drive with the body in their van, too. But like. They didn't have any other choice really. Love it. This movie's just raw
Kemper's death was so fun (and I just enjoy the little cartoon on the TV during it. like how Thomas' sledgehammer goes down on beat with the drum in the TV, how the little cartoon character looks shocked when the blood spatters on the screen. idk i always found that part so fun abt his death). And furthermore, Thomas just popping up behind him like that, gah!! I don't know I just love how final it feels. One decisive blow!! Ack!!
This movie is such a fun remake and I reaaally liked what they got going on it!!! Gosh!!
Hoo boy I keep remembering I have like. More movies to rank so I'm gonna stop here
4.) Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)
Tumblr media
watching part 2 immediately after the first movie was. Maybe a little jarring. I wasn't sure what to make of the comedic tone at first, I'm going to be so honest!!
I get how the movie might have gotten to this path, with how crazy a skin-wearing chainsaw-wielding cannibal is, and it's fine! I guess I was expecting something along the same lines of the first when I first watched it. Like, an abandoned amusement park is! Something! I don't know how plausible an abandoned amusement park is for a hideout from authorities, but then again I wasn't there! I imagine Bubba and Chop Top like to play there, so it's not all bad.
Not saying there's nothing good about this movie oh no. This movie gave us Chop Top!!! Love Chop Top, man. What a kook he is. I liked his little bond with Bubba; his character is definitely like some balm to Bubba because I'd imagine the poor guy blames himself for Nubbins' death.
Stretch is pretty fun as a protagonist, I like her voice! Makes sense she has a nice voice she's a disc jockey and works at a radio station (so so cool! Awsum). I've not much to say about her other than I Am So Jealous Of You and Let Me Switch Places With You, but yes girl! fucking explode them and swing that chainsaw around!!! What an end to the movie; I had no idea what to think about it!
And as for Bubba, he was fine! Definitely played up for wacky horror comedy, but that's par for the course. He did his thang and that's all that matters. I will say, AAUUUUUGHH BEATS THE GROUND WITH MY FIST, they made him so cute. Man. I can't even. What a man you are Bubba
5.) Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 (1990)
Tumblr media
ok i'll be so real with you i'm putting the third movie here solely because it was kind of forgettable :(
it was overshadowed by a lot of the other movies in the franchise for me personally, but I wouldn't say I disliked it by any means!
one thing I freaked out about first was VIGGO MORTENSEN! HEY MAN! I'm a fan of LOTR so seeing Aragorn in a fucking Texas Chainsaw movie made me all sorts of yaaaayyyy yaaaayyyy. Despite that though, Tex was alright as a character, nothing much to him. Same as Tinker and Alfredo.
Babi Sawyer is there and I kind of think she was there to bank off of creepy little girl trope, but it didn't really work. Junior's mom was alright, but ohhhh her being so sweet to Junior haaahcggg... I'm gonna shrivel up and crumble into a small pile of dust.
Movie production and protagonists weren't anything notable, but I did like how Benny was a survivalist, really makes it interesting to have a character Know What To Do; it's too bad he died, it would've been nice to explore a character like that in a slasher movie.
Leatherface is Leatherface! Though, I love that the family gives him technology to play around with and generally how much kinder they are to him, makes them seem like one of the more healthier Leatherface families in the franchise. And the scene with Junior playing his little wordgame....... Oh he's getting enrichment good for him.......
6.) Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1995)
Tumblr media
..... ok i don't like this movie LOL
i knoooow i know it's supposed to be a parody, but aahhhh.... Man, I was not attached to anyone, and the twist of a secret society at the end didn't really do anything crazy except make it more confusing.
Other than that, yes!!!! Leatherface I will be at your next drag show!!!!!! forever iconic <3 only one in that movie i cared about
Tumblr media
anyways if this wasn't coherent at all hopefully it was funny enough for you to not care

‘m so sad bc I think I missed the Johnny slaughter wave here on tumblr 😞 it ended before I could even begin to write for him 😪 my husband fr
I blame GUN media for handling their game terribly. When they stopped cross play they lost tens of thousands of players and never recovered (+ the hackers never stopped, ofc). Their game maps are basically puzzles that — once solved — become very repetitive.
Couple that with poorly handled expansions + patches including:
Releasing Black Nancy at the same time as one of the most anticipated killers of all time (Chucky) was released in their similar-genre competition Dead by Daylight.
Nerfing the killers too harshly like how they massacred our boy Johnny until picking him would make other killers leave the lobby to not be hindered by his dead weight. Sissy and Cook have also received similar nerfs, and Leatherface's revving sprint was stealth nerfed as well.
Ignoring things that made the game experience painful to play. For example, the car on the gas station that the survivors could just crouch in forever took something like 8 months for them to block. As someone who's worked on game environments, adding an invisible block would take about thirty seconds. And how grandpa would screw everyone over waking up, that was only recently fixed. Oh, and stunlocking the family forever with doors, that was fun...
And let's not forget GUN's rudeness toward their fans such as:
Responding to shipper's posts by vehemently denying that their ship would ever be canon.
Being sassy about people asking for alternatives to having to play leatherface every game by removing the requirement but not adding any new or fun ways to fulfill the leatherface role (sledgehammer Johnny? Mallet Leatherface?) + leaving barracades up with no way to destroy them.
Insinuating those of us asking for shirtless Johnny were being thirsty hoes for asking (and we were), making us have to fight for him to be shirtless, then being rude toward the people who then asked for thirst skins for Julie/Connie/etc. Most of their player base comes from dead by daylight, we are all thirsty and no one should be shamed for asking for skins they would like to look at.
Let's not forget the extremely overpriced Nicotero Leatherface skin that both had broken audio on release and who's chainsaw is significantly quieter giving a very real advantage to playing him. Also, covering half the main screen with an ad for it was very desperate IMO.
Lastly, the killers to victims ratio is outrageous, something like 1 killer to every 25 victims. Yet they keep making playing killer worse and worse (cough, like by adding Danny who's skill is still broken af, cough)
All these factors combined spelled certain doom for poor ole Johnny. While some people like myself are still loyalists, the fact of the matter is, GUN killed their boy. In a perfect world, Johnny would be added into a TCM movie to revitalize interest in him. But I think the game has no hope.

Some more headcannons about Bubba!!
TW: mentions of cannon typical violence
Bubba loves spending time with Grandpa! He doesn’t confide in him like he does in Chicken, because he’s frightened of getting told off and he sees him more as someone he really respects rather than a friend. Bubba looks after Grandpa, especially whilst wearing his grandmother outfit, as a substitute for his deceased Grandma. He helps Grandpa get dressed, get to bed, etc, as he doesn’t seem to be able to do so himself, and makes sure to give him a lot of kisses on the head and snuggles (gentle ones, so that he doesn’t accidentally crack his ribs.)
Making masks is perhaps the activity he treats with the most gravitas, as making a new mask, for him is making a whole new personality. I don’t think he makes them very regularly, as he simply doesn’t need to. Grandma, Pretty Woman, and strong man are the three main roles he needs to fill, and he already has masks for all of those. Nevertheless, if one breaks, which they probably do quite regularly, being made of thin human skin, he needs to be very careful when making a new one. It needs to allow him to basically become a new person, after all.
The twins often try to include Bubba in their mischief, and did so even more when they were all kids. Unfortunately for them, Bubba is way too scared of Drayton to ever do anything devious, and whimpers and squeaks anxiously whenever his brothers are making chaos and he happens to witness it. He loves his brothers, though, and never tells on them to Drayton, so when he discovers what they’ve done, Bubba gets a beating too.
He sometimes forgets how big and tall he is, like a dog that thinks its still a puppy. He tries to give his grandmother a hug and sit on her lap, like he did when he was small, and is surprised to hear one of her ancient, brittle bones give a resounding snap.
Bubba seems like the kind of person who has a very set bed time, and probably has since he was a child. The events of the first movie, when he stays up until dawn, are likely unique, as they’ve caught somebody. Drayton used to make him go to bed at nine o’clock every day when he was little to have some time to himself without having to look after the meddling kids, and it just stuck, to the point that, come nine o’clock, Bubba just wants to cuddle up in his little bed and doze off. Drayton tried it with the twins, too, but, being much less obedient and much more hyperactive then their little brother, it never seemed to work.
Bubba is gentle with all animals, not just Chicken- as long as he doesn’t see them as a threat. He doesn’t particularly like big, scary dogs, as he’s scared they could hurt his defenceless grandpa, his brothers, or Chicken. He tries to avoid them whenever he can.
He probably takes the various makeup he likes to use from victims, or has Nubbins steal some for him when he goes hitchhiking. One time, Nubbins and Chop managed to convince him that Drayton would appreciate it if he gave him a makeover whilst he was asleep. Needless to say, it didn’t go down particularly well.
In both TCM 1 and 2, Bubba makes repetitive movements when he’s upset and frightened, licking his lips, tapping the side of his head, etc, likely an effort to sooth himself and manage his panic or channel excess energy that he has from all the adrenaline.
It’s possible that Bubba might have grown up around pigs, given the kind of noises that he makes- perhaps Grandma and Grandpa had them around the farm, and Bubba enjoyed playing with them as a child. Domestic pigs can be extremely friendly and gentle, contrary to popular belief, so it’s likely. It seems that the Sawyers no longer have pigs, because, if they did, they probably wouldn’t be relying on human meat to survive.
He loves watching cartoons and cooking shows (as I’ve mentioned in my previous set of head cannons), though the latter make him more than a little hungry. His favourite cartoon characters are Betty Boop- he likes how pretty she is and wants to be just like her- and Baby Huey, a cartoon duckling. (Fun fact- apparently Tobe Hooper and Kim Henkel took inspiration from Baby Huey’s childlike, clumsy demeanour, contrasted with his enormous stature, when first thinking up the concept for Leatherface!)
