Something worth mentioning from the flash sequence when the Trailblazer is about to enter the Dreamscape: we get glimpses of Misha and him crying out the name Mikhail.

In Russian, Misha is sort of like an affectionate nickname for the name Mikhail, an alternative spelling of Micheal. Makes me wonder if Misha is a name he inherited from another character named Mikhail, or if the person he's calling Mikhail is actually another version of him (sort of like the "memory loss"/potential shared body thing Acheron has going on).

Additionally: when you look into the religious ties that the name Micheal has, especially in Christianity... perhaps consider playing attention to this guy a little more.

Arw you really the author John Green? The same person who wrote The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska?

Yes, but I published one of those books 19 (?!?!?!) years ago and the other 12 (!?!?!?!?) years ago. What have I been up to since then?

My brother Hank and I started Good.store, which delivers high-quality socks, coffee, and soap to your home and donates 100% of its profit to charity. Through good store, we've raised over $7,500,000 to support efforts to radically reduce maternal mortality in Sierra Leone, where as recently as 2019, one in seventeen women could expect to die in pregnancy or childbirth.

I wrote the novel Turtles All the Way Down and then had a little existential crisis and wrote a nonfiction book called The Anthropocene Reviewed, the latter of which is my first book for adults and my first attempt to write as myself.

I helped produce made a movie adaptation (streaming now on Max!) of Turtles all the Way Down.

I helped raise my kids and supported my spouse as she wrote her book You Are An Artist and created a PBS show about art called The Art Assignment.

I ran the educational media company Complexly and the merch company dftba.com while my brother had cancer.

I bought around 2% of a fourth-tier English football team called AFC Wimbledon. Wimbledon are different from most football clubs because they are owned by their fans, each of whom gets one vote in the club's leadership regardless of how much money they put into the club.

I became obsessed with tuberculosis, the world's deadliest infectious disease (it will kill over a million people this year despite being curable), and how TB both exemplifies and reinforces human-built structures of injustice, which is the subject of a book I'm writing that will come out next year.

*On Dan Heng's bond with Himeko & Welt.

One thing I have to say about this topic is that Dan Heng GENUINELY views Himeko and Welt as parental figures, even though he doesn't mention this to anyone (not even to them). He might not know what having parents is actually like since the vidyadhara are self-sustaining beings, but he's learned how a mother and a father should be and how they should make their child feel (safe, understood etc) over time as he's witnessed parents and children interacting on various planets, and to him? these two come closest to the meaning of "parents".

They've lent him a helping hand by asking him to join the Express when he was at his lowest point (alone in the universe, hunted by Blade, loathed by the Xianzhou, formerly kidnapped, nearly died several times, so on so forth) and they gave him the choice to disembark it whenever he wants to instead of tricking or "caging" him into staying there forever; they're actively trying to protect him from anyone with even remotely hostile intentions towards him even though they don't have to (HE's their appointed guard, so they're not bound by anything to protect him other than the kindness of their hearts and their affection for him - which is something Dan Heng is beyond grateful for) and they've given + continue to give him understanding no matter what he does or says, plus they've never once scolded or berated him for any of his decisions (a thing he was familiar with on the Xianzhou, both as himself and in Dan Feng's memories).

Out of the two I'd say Dan Heng is closer to Welt since they both have very logical personalities that try to think ahead on any potential thing that may go wrong and how to deal with said thing if it does go haywire, and they're also two introverted (and a bit awkward) nerds who love learning new bits of knowledge and enjoy sharing what they've learned with each other while sitting in silence in the same place reading or drinking tea; but Dan Heng does value Himeko greatly too - she was the first person to have ever extended him a helping hand and she asked for absolutely nothing in return, which to this day is baffling to Dan Heng (she's much kinder than himself, in his opinion, and he admires her for that). She continues to be openly gentle and caring with him all the while slowly pushing him towards the life he wants to live rather than the one that's been imposed on him, and all of that combined has earned her a very soft spot in Dan Heng's heart.

Dan Heng was also the first "young person" to join the Express in a long time, and it's been quite some time since he joined and until March was found - so for a (presumably extended) while he truly was doted on by them every day, much like an only child. His thinking mirrors theirs in a lot of areas because of the time they've spent together closely and not only do they influence some of his beliefs, but he trusts them entirely. There's not a SHRED of doubt in his heart about either of them nor about their opinions/intentions/beliefs, and because of that he also trusts the conclusions they come to. Which is to say, in a lighter / funnier note, that if Himeko and/or Welt don't like you... you might as well say goodbye to the idea of ever successfully courting Dan Heng.

Story: Fenix originates from the planet of Naboo. He was the son of a shopkeeper, always staying within his father's shop, cleaning the place. Until Fenix got stuck in the cross fire of a duel between a sith and a jedi. His father tried to protect him, but doing so caused him to die by the sith. Even though afterward the Jedi killed the sith, Fenix was traumatized and devastated. The Jedi took pity on the boy and took him in under his wing.

Over the years, Fenix grew up to be a Jedi knight, he had a friend and a new mentor after the jedi who took him in died. The new mentor was like Palpatine, fooling everyone into thinking they're good when in reality they're a sith and they're trying to convert Fenix to the dark side.

Fenix friend was close to him (I haven't decided on an occupation for him yet), but the two always went on missions together. Until one day on one mission, things looked bad, and the two were getting outnumber. Fenix asked for help, but suddenly, his friend abandons him, leaving him to die to save themselves. This wasn't intentional. They were running out of fear, but this was betrayal to Fenix.

Therefore, with the fear of the current war (the clone wars), the anger of his father's death, and the hatred of his friend's "betrayal", the persuasion of his mentor turned Fenix to the Dark side.

Tsk, has that brat really returned to my hotel once again? Pathetic. Can't this kid just screw off and go to school instead of wasting my time and bothering me? What does this brat want this time? Trying to persuade me into making a business deal with him so he can take my money?

All the previous times he came here, it's been the same old begging every time. Sorry kid but I'm not giving you any of my money because you want to build more androids. I know what you're up to. His innocent little looks may fool everyone but me. I know that this kid is a sadist at heart. I can see it in his eyes.

I was sitting in my office, doing the same old boring paperwork, checking the time to see when I needed to feed the cats. But the little brat comes in, and I sigh. I noticed he had his little android with him all the time as well. What an emotionless machine.

"What do you want, kid? I thought I banned you from my hotel. You have 10 seconds to explain to me why you're here before I call security to kick you out." I said, obviously bored that this kid has returned.

The kid smirked before clasping his hands behind his back. "Actually, this time I'm not here for a business deal. In fact it's something completely this time." He said in a cheerful voice. My eyes narrowed. "Today I brought you a gift!"

He snapped his fingers, and a second android appeared next to the first android. I stood up and reached for my sword under my desk. What is this kid planning.

"What is the meaning of this?!" I yelled, suspicious of the two androids and the kid. The kid laughed, that sadistic laugh.

"It's a gift silly. A gift of letting my androids beat you up! You'll be the first among many to feel the true power of my creation!" He snapped his fingers again. "Androids after him!" The two and start to move towards me.

I bring out the sword and get in a defense stance. "You are making a foolish mistake here." I uttered which only made the kid laugh more.

"The only fool here is you." He grin, watching one of the androids get hit by my sword, only to do no damage. I back away.

I glance around the room, I wish I had a gun instead on me. Those things can't work as long as I stabbed them through the head.

I raised my sword again, dodging one of them while charging at the other. I jumped to stab it, but it grabbed by the blade with their hand and snapped it in half. My eyes widen. I realized two things. 1) I'm going to need to buy a new one. 2) I'm screwed.

The one android that I dodged earlier grabs me by the arms and swung me to the wall, hitting the fireplace. I could have died if my head hit the wrong spot. I groan and cough before the other android jammed a needle into my neck.

It was probably some sort of chemical because I could barely get up and the room felt dizzy. I was determining to not be beaten by machine's. But my vision was getting blurry, and I collapsed onto the ground.

I blacked out, only soon to wake up in a car with the androids taking me to the Prime Softwares HQ. Tsk, they were taking me hostage and they felt nothing about it. This is why I hate androids.

I didn't even get to feed the cats today either.

Considering all the HSR characters alternate version has a different name than their original(besides March & TB), what nicknames/titles would you give to the genshin characters you made a 5 star kit for?

I’m not gonna lie to you, I had to open up my game because I could only think of Dan Heng IL having a name switch and completely Tingyun and Herta did in fact slightly change their names.

Collei’s is pretty easy since her power has a name. “Deev Flame Collei” or “Collei- Deev Bearer” gets the point across pretty well. Just like Soldier 0 Anby

The other two are a bit harder cause nothing has really changed much. I made Chongyun use his yang energy actively but I’m not entirely sure how that could be represented in a name. Something like “Yang release” or “Spirit Soother” is all I got.

Unironically, Flame Chaser and Trailblazer would go so hard for Amber considering the kit and lore is all about being the guiding light for Collei and others. Even calling her “The Outrider” makes sense. If only we knew her grandpa’s last name or any nicknames he got. She could inherit it. Brush Fire Amber also sounds nice.

AND HOW IT GETS “RIPPED OUT” EVENTUALLY???1?1???1 i just wanna talk abt it bc like it had a bunch of things firefly wanted to do (its implied she wanted to do them before she dies: her bucket list) and at the end of the song she rips it out because she wants to do everything she wants to do to live, not do everything bc she’ll die.

also i wanna talk abt this frame, its the one that shows up in the parts where firefly is “ripping out” (ill get back to it) the pages of the bucket list journal. it shows during the lyrics,

“Let me stay awhile, stop the world from moving on / And I’ll cherish all the memories ‘til they’re going, going, gone”

and at first, i thought the top part was skirt folds from firefly’s outfit but after i rewatched it a few times, i realized they’re actually firefly’s bangs, and we’re basically looking through her eyes as she rips apart the journal and i just think thats such a powerful few seconds because it dips in focus a lot and shows just how emotional she is, how much hurt she feels about the hand she was dealt.

ok i described it as “ripping out” earlier but the way her hands are placed looks like shes just crumpling the paper, and doesnt actually plan on ripping them out, and i feel like theres so much nuance in that bc it shows that even though she holds the memories she made in bittersweet regard, she wouldn’t just reduce them to shreds in a fit of indignation. that conclusion is even further supported by the fact that we never see the notebook being ripped; this is the last time we ever see it (but lets not think about the implications that brings).

ok i also wanted to talk about these because the entire time, the mv is presented in an alternate universe where the characters go to school and arent, yk, traveling the cosmos. but we can still see how the trailblazer is wearing their iconic jacket and fingerless gloves, so it tells us that we’re back in the star rail universe we know and love. we also know that we’re in penacony when TB fights SAM for the first time bc of the fire around them and the scenery behind the TB. thats not the main point tho.

notice how there are green marks on the left photo; it looks like we’re looking at the trailblazer from SAM’s point of view, and the text saying “DESTROY” repeatedly means that SAM is going haywire. so perhaps, the mv’s story is meant to parallel the main story?

you do realise no matter what everyone is going to project their own traits on Jensen in fact everyone does that to actors no matter their ranking. You are definitely not an exception to this and neither am I. and I have a few friends that worked on walker and a few that worked on TB and you will never guess the tea I heard about JP from them 🤭 but despite that I know that every actor bounces of each others character or other peoples characters. Whether you like it or not just accept it that actors just bounce off other peoples characters and that includes J2 as well.

You must be the same anon who sent in the ask about TB and your friend supposedly working there. As someone who actually knows people that have worked on both sets as actual professionals, I tend to call bullshit on your claims. Aside from this, extras and such can’t really have a clear picture of what is going on on set. It’s the showrunners, producers, actors and co stars that actually interact with the leads. Before making up false claims, at least do your research. The whole of Austin benefitted from Jared’s production.

Amagi(Kazunari Ninomiya) brings an ending that no one expected.

Meanwhile, Amagi receives a request for an operation from Kizaki (Toshiaki Megumi), who runs a restaurant chain in South Korea. Saeki (Seiyo Uchino), who is worried about the enormous construction costs of the new hospital that Amagi is designing, proposes to Amagi that he accept the operation on the condition that he invests 5 billion yen in the new hospital. Amagi immediately flies to Korea to conduct a chance sample.

Kizaki accepts the conditions and wins the chance sample with Amagi, and is admitted to a special room at Tojo University to undergo surgery. At the same time, Seo-hyun (Choi Ji-woo) also comes to Dongseong University for post-surgery tests and runs into Kizaki. In fact, Kizaki and Seohyun are rivals, and Kizaki has bought all the stores that Seohyun gave up due to surgery at a low price, and is also aiming for the remaining first store.

I watched this television broadcast on BBC2 last night.

Although Queen guitarist Brian May had little knowledge of the facts when he began his campaign against the badger cull, he has been proved right (in my opinion).

With the help of a dairy farm in Devon, Brian May showed that the most effective way to test for b-TB is by checking their anal excretions. And the most likely spread of b-TB is via cow slurry.

I bought the neighbouring dairy farm in Dorset for all the wrong reasons! It was running at a loss with 67 elderly milk producing cows... and all the milking parlours, barns and sheds needed immediate renovation/replacement. It cost me a bloody fortune!!

We are now working with a university Wales to investigate this matter further... and try to find an effective vaccine fir cattle

I can't stop thinking about ehr I would go to sleep but I just need to find some sort of outlet fir this intensity involving book so im making a crazy Tumblr rant that literally nobody's gonna read the ramblings of its 1:35 am, which isn't late, but if you consider the fact I usually sleep around 8,9, and sometimes 7, + having to wake up at 4am to eat and 7 am to go to school ,it kind of is. bu ti cast sleep cause my minds too active thinking of book and ways I can create and consume media about her but everything sucks because of course im only interested in the underdog characters that literally nobody acttually gives a shit about, but I guess better for me because I know what to make rants about booookkkkkkk she's os silly and real she has abandonment issues and is just a stupid silly nerd trying to be nice and find her place in a friendgroup people think she's just a typical nerd character, despite her only notable phrase being ' I am actually a book on _' people say she has no substance but then go absolutely feral over fries, like I get the appeal but it makes me sad because your okay with that and not book hookbobookbobookokokobkokokokokokokookokkit would be cool if she had like a price tag as a bookmark like that's so epic she keeps her angel wings and has like a star or something from that one book variation hrhhruhruhrhurhrhrrhr book is o cool she has so many designs and even her own game I need tennis ball and book interactions, or even friendship because why does it feel like the writers are avoiding it. Yesterday’s 18/06/24 Updated: I have only once corrected the titles/texts in the picture and even in the description of my deviation in term of the style name from the “Tim Burton” or “Burtonized as for me in a rather erroneous and very mistakable way to “Carlos Grangel” or “Grangelized”, which is, according to my current assumption, as more correctable and accurate on the fact that Eliot’s original look seems to be more or semi similar to Carlos Grangel’s style than TB’s.

My old artwork I made in some February 2022 of my Corpse Bride next-gen/Roaring 20's/Star Heart OC, Eliot Hotchhive, with two different and structural styles of him relative to the under drag line of material from the cartoonized and full-Grangelized to semi-Grangelized version. However, in terms of Eliot in fully but functional Carlos Grangel style, he is in fact more or less depicted as his maternal great-uncle, although his own personality is still characterized as his shy uncle and warm-hearted aunt; and on the right side of the kindly cartoony/non-Grangelized/my own originality version of Eliot - ah man, he is so much more unique and miraculous with thick arms and legs, but even as I guessed his appearance, he actually reminds me of Cogsworth from the Beauty and the Beast and Jacob Kowalski from Fantastic Beasts (a film version based on a screenplay and a textbook by J. K. Rowling), so honestly, it's better for me to reference them on him as similarity than immediately XD.

Analysis of the Withlock sisters

(Because why not. I have OC brainrot.)

Sophia is the most sweetest one of the bunch. She looked up to Elora and was born as a kind person, therefore she is really kind and tries to look on the bright side. She puts others first before her, caring for others and showing love. Though she struggled to stand up for herself and often gets taken advantage of her kind nature. She doesn't like arguing for it makes her upset and will break down into tears and she doesn't like conflict. Sophie does know how to fight but is weaker than the rest. She's the type who would apologize to a dead body if she ever manged to get a kill.

Fun Facts: Sophia is the femine girly girl one. She loves dresses, stuffed animals, make-up, and pink! Her bed is covered in stuffed animals, and soft things comfort her. She's a great cook as well. Sophia is also lesbian-ace. She likes girls but she's not into sex :>

Viola is more like their mother (Florence). She can be hot headed and short tempered, rude as well. Viola is more likely to push people away when first meeting, considering she's got a mean resting face. Despite her rude behavior, she does slightly care for her other siblings. She's only soft toward Sophia since she can be very protective of her twin. Viola is the kind to not hesitate to call you a bitch and kick you in the balls. She knows how to fight and she's scary when it comes to it.

Fun Facts: Only Sophia has seen Viola cry, considering Viola doesn't cry much. Viola isn't lucky with her dating life and all her previous exs have experienced her breaking their prized items. She does like horror movies and likes scaring people though. She probably has seen the twilight movies.

Lilli is the more realistic and logical one. She's calm most of the time, silently observing people from afar. She's smart, and people underestimated her for that. She wants to see what makes people tick. Lilli is the type of give a civil and reasonable, well proven argument, except its their father she is talking to. She is the most spiteful one towards him. She won't hesitate to put people in their place and will call someone's opinion invalid if they turn out to be a hypocrite. Lilli does not appreciate hypocrites or liars. She does know how to fight, but she would rather fight with logic and knowledge.

Fun Facts: She went to the same university as Dr. Vincent Roux, and became a nurse. She always had a loving for trinkets and collectibles, Lilli likes collecting things for decoration. She's also a reckless driver.

Xena is by far the worst in mental stability. Being the first meant she got to experience everything. The most broken one you could say. She was always the silent one, barley interacting and always in her room studying. She was unsympathetic, a sociopath. All she cared about was her own goals and herself, always pushing her siblings to the side. In fact she didn't even want siblings in the first place. The only times she did say anything was to put others down. The only person she was remotely nice to was Elora, sorta. But even then she was unemotional. It was no suprise that she left immediately she turned 18. No one knows if she is alive or not since she was suicidal as well.

Fun Facts: She's also a manipulator, she basically bullied a straight man into being gay because she didn't want to date him. Xena can be cruel as well, both physically and verbally, a bully, basically. She did at one point gifted Xavier a music box when he was little, though she didn't want to look like she cared so she told him that Elora gave it to him.

Basically Leon was made just for Retro, Nightmare had Killer and Cross make him, and literally just hoped the two would be friends so then Leon could convince Retro to join TBS(The Bad Sanses)

Leon always knew that, his father, Cross told him just a little before he met Retro, he knew he was just a pawn for a sick game and once he's done doing his part, he would be killed, but little did NM know is that, in some way Leon would protect Retro before he could do anything
