I am diagnosed with too many mental health issues to list tbh but most recently i was diagnosed with Depersonalization Disorder which i feel encompasses all my things. I might also have other dissociative things happening apparently. Working on figuring that out

I am diagnosed with gastroparesis but its comorbid to an unknown autoimmune disease that we cant seem to figure out They figured it out (sortof)! I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that was triggered by a virus. Im officially diagnosed with Chronic EBV ( EBV=mono) because they are %99 sure thats the virus that did it according to my symptoms and way too many antibodies in my bloodwork but i have my suspicions and am trying to get a second opinion before i say %100

I was previously living on my own but now live back with my parents which has been ROUGH Its getting alot rougher and trying to apply to subsidized housing

I DO NOT subscribe to what I like to call “tumblr brain rot” let me explain!

I see alot of division on here that usually comes down to two different groups of people who use identities that aren’t “typical” and people who gatekeep a community and hate anyone who doesn’t align to their way of thinking. I WILL NOT be choosing sides in any of these arguments. I think that people should identify with whatever they want . I do not care how niche it is. HOWEVER, i am horrified by some of the commentary from people with niche identities that expect others to immediately understand that identity without giving anyone a chance to understand. Nobody can ever learn to accept something you wont help them understand. I am also a firm believer that people can change and grow. Canceling someone for unforgivable behavior is one thing. Canceling someone for an honest mistake gives me the ick. Please ask yourself “ is this a pattern of behavior or something they are working on?” before making a call out post. In fact maybe we shouldn’t make call out posts about people unless they are genuinely dangerous. If its discourse exclusive to tumblr please just keep me out of it.

Activism!

Yes! If youve made it this far then you know that beyond tumblr there are BIG problems out there that internet discourse unfortunately will not solve. Im a huge follower of many activist movements but here are the ones i most interact with.

Trans rights , especially the rights of trans children and destroying the stigma around trans people being inherently sexual and dangerous to children. ( as a former trans teacher who has been thoroughly harrassed even though i was excellent at my job i have had a bone to pick with these shitheads)

Queer/POC intersectionality , i often go to panels and discussions on this matter because it is deeply personal to me as a person of color with blue hair and pronouns. I have been made fun of all my life for not conforming to Hispanic stereotypes and doing things people consider “white liberal culture”. Fun fact: not all trans people look the same.

Disability rights but also Autism Acceptance, my wife is autistic and im adhd and also physically disabled. PEOPLE DESERVE ACCOMMODATIONS. Being in a relationship with an autistic person for many years has made me very very pissed on thier behalf and on behalf of anyone who functions differently. News flash: everyone deserves to have thier needs met and that includes needs you dont understand.

recently started going to a-lot of events for Palestine. Doing a-lot of more vaguely human rights activism because im fucking exhausted with being part of like 5-6 different minorities and the new BULLSHIT in the USA. The human rights work is focused around Palestine currently for obvious reasons

I will gladly attend pretty much ANY virtual event/meeting to support these causes. I am always available to speak on my personal experience or assist with public speaking. If its an in-person event please DM me to discuss if it’s possible for me physically and logistically. ( pls note that altho i do not support isreal that the events in Palestine really hit a rough spot for me mentally because my jewish family members gosupersayan if they catch me supporting Palestine. yes omg!! ive finished the main quest in totk and all the shrines and caves and lightroots! just missing some quests and a ton of korok seeds lol. totk is the only game that ive actually kinda completed so as of rn its my fave i think. lately ive just been trying to max all my clothes which has mainly been just harassing the dragons for their scales and stuff hehe i do it out of love <3

ive played through all of botw except for the final boss fight. actually recently restarted my game so i could start over bc its been years but ive been too busy to play T^T cant wait for summer omg

zelda is my all time favorite video games!! i hot young parents who i grew up watching play zelda games. i watched my dad play majoras mask and my mom play twilight princess and skyward sword so all of those have a special place in my heart <3 watching them play it is why i love loz sm. no other video game franchise can compare.

i started fairly recently, just before oct started, so i think its a decent time to start, esp since right now theres a event where everyday for like another week or so i think (?) you have free items and rare quests. its honestly a Lot to jump back into - i certainly had no idea where to really start. i watched a couple videos about the site nowadays and i had to search around to figure out what this faerie event even is and how to go about it.

i recently crossed the 100k neopoints mark and now im at 300k and investing in stocks and shit. like. when i was a kid i thought the only thing on neopets was the omelette and cheat. nowadays there are SO many guides and tutorials on how to navigate and do things. it also helps im not 10 anymore too. tbh.

the forums are super active and ppl are in general really nice esp to new players!! theyll give you cool neopets or put them in the pound for ppl to find, and you can even ask people for the items you need for your quests and theyll put it in their shop for you to buy like! wow. so cute and nice.

the site is super laggy rn bc of the event, apparently its the first event since the site changed owners. i think things are crazier for the long time players right now but as a newbie i am just vibing. appealingly there was SO much chaos when it came to this events recycling rules and stuff but idk i just click button and number go up.

okay tbh this question is sooooo harddddd like idkkkk, what i will put is some series i really gravitate towards and have found myself watching over and over again and not getting sick of:

golf with friends: even tho dan annoys me 😐 when he full sends it every single time over and over and does learn......i still really love this series!!! it's just a comfort thing watching them + back when they had the golf hats that shed it's fun watching dan complain. idk i just really like this series it's fun and i would love more!

overcooked: i really like this series it's just so funny, any game where they have to play together and help the other out is so amusing bc dan obviously has zero patients and is yelling 2 minutes into playing while phil is just giggling in the corner!

the sims: tbh i really do gravitate towards this series, i know ppl dont like it or don't prefer it to the other games they play but it's such a comfort series for me. i can rewatch like a million times and never get sick of it which ive done a lot recently!!! and as someone who can only play the sims 4 with mods bc it's so boring without them it's just fascinating how interesting they make it while playing with zero mods fdghgjhfgdf truly inspiring!

IT'S SO FUN RIGHT? I have like uhhhhh maybe over 600 hours in it (we don't need to talk about that). Anime / Manga !

i love anime and manga. ive grown up with it ever since i was around 5. i would stay up on saturday nights till 7 am when inuyasha would start playing on adult swim. if i was ever too tired i would record the episode on our dvr and would watch it after getting home from kindergarten. crazy age to watch inuyasha but i always found it so cool.

also grew up on naruto. i am such a naruto nerd i have rewatched the og and shippuden so many times i can tell people which episode events happened, i can sing the openings in order, i can name most characters, etc. the naruto brainrot is bad. same thing with bleach and dragonball z. the new bleach has me so hyped i loved watching every episode made me want to rewatch the main series but i have no time so i just watch small clips here and there.

i love just about every genre of anime tbh. sports animes (baki, hajime no ippo, kengan asura, one outs, eyeshield 21, etc). idol animes (idolish 7, tsukiuta, tsukipro, etc). shounen, mystery, shoujo, literally everything. i have to be in a certain mood to watch mech animes but whenever one comes out that catches my eye i put all my energy into watching it. i think the only genre i dont enjoy much is isekai, i used to like them but new ones come out too often i cant keep up.

Cars !

my day to day guilty pleasure is cars. i love cars. they are cool, go fast, go stutututu, whine, be loud, have cool lights, i love everything about a good car.

i have a brz! bought it myself and it is my pride adn joy. it is one of my favorite cars and when i bought it in november i literally cried. I drive manual and its so fun to me! i want to learn how to drift but im a bit nervous because i dont want to accidentally mess up anything in my car.

Reading !

i love books i love reading. i love fiction, sci-fi, philosophy, nonfiction, fanfiction, everything. I was never into books like harry potter and anything with too many magical elements in them but always loved horror and more mystery thriller books.

i have been dying to buy more physical books to add to my mini library in my room but theres a few books on my backlog i need to complete before i do that.

i also have a slowly growing manga collection that i desperately need to add to.

i read all day all night on my phone but the feeling of flipping real pages is so satisfying and having the weight of a book in my bag is just so nice.

Music !

not to toot my own horn but my spotify wrapped minutes is always 140k+. i listen to music all day everyday. while doing homework, reading, driving, working, in class (pay attention dont be like me), watching stuff it doesnt matter. i have a terrible habit of getting bored of something very easily so i always multitask and need 20 things happening at the same time so music is amazing at keeping me focused.

i love 'underground archive', rnb, krnb, jpop, citypop, lofi, rap, edm, literally a whole lot of stuff. i dont like pop that much ive grown to realize same with country, i can listen to it but only if someone else wants to.

Omgosh I’ve been meaning to type out a response while at work but it’s been really busy.

I watched Inside Llewyn Davis and I feel like the fandom pariah….I mean I didn’t NOT like it but I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. Honestly, Oscar really carried that film. I feel like everyone else was a little static. But Omgosh I think it hit a little too close to home for me?? Him just spending the whole movie trying so hard and people just being so freakin mean to him just reminded me of myself and the constant hope of “maybe it’ll be different this time” only to have my hope drop at the next scene was heavy for me. Maybe one day I’ll rewatch it again when I’m a little less sad and it’ll watch differently? Also watched it with my mom and it wasn’t her type of movie so maybe if I watched it by myself I would pick up on more? Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

BUT I heard you watched the Force Awakens?? What did you think?? I’ve rewatched the scene where Finn and Poe escape in the tie fighter like SO MANY TIMES. I just love Poe so damn much 🥹💕

I too have changed fandoms - my recent obsession is The Great Ace Attorney (Dai Gyakuten Saiban/DGS) series. Ace Attorney is literally one of the two video game franchises I've played LMFAO. Not sure if you'd be into it but it has absolutely magnificent soundtrack

As for Star Wars - I've only watched one (1) movie in the whole franchise 😂😂 I don't remember the title, but it's the last one Carrie Fisher starred in (I heard they were gonna use CGI for the one after but couldn't be sure).

It's been a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time since I watched that one so I can't really remember a lot of opinions. The only two I do remember tho, are:

(1) wow one of the ships looks VERY MUCH like an iron (for clothes)

(2) lmfao is this another 'girl powah' story
