I’m not avoiding my 3 spinning and 4 knitting projects!!! I’m not!!!
#I’m just sampling!#honestly!#gotta know how I wanna do my next project.#anyways as much as I enjoy the action of combing fibers#I didn’t like that the Icelandic in particular would separate out tog from them#and I am not spending 100$ on single row combs I would only really want for double fleeces like this#and I do eventually want to experiment with seperated fleeces (just not right now)#I decided I was finally gonna do it#I was finally gonna get reacquainted with my cards#and so far I’m having a decent time!#I think I finally found a technique that works for me#(it’s basically just from Louis Swales’ video ‘how to card like a ghost’)#I’m putting out rolags that umm#ok they don’t look great but they are a decent spinning experience!#and I like how little waste there is#currently in this pic I am spinning some rolags that were rolled off the short end of cards so the fiber is mostly parallel#(been calling them cigar rolags)#and tbh I think I prefer the rolag rolled off the long side#I feel the dual cost fibers mix better#I’m gonna try to spindle spin enough yarn to make a short pair of socks as one of the things I wanted to do was get#a pair of 100% Icelandic wool socks to see how it wears compared to the commercial standard of merino nylon blend#and then I want to spin some Lopi style for a sweater#and if I have any long locks leftover I’ll use that in my current rug project#yarn#handmade#spinning#handspinning#handspun#wool#spindle

#last year wasnt too bad i barely remember nye tbh but OH BOY are the neighbors making up for it this year#they arent like super big or anything but they are LOUD and we're just rural enough that nobody gives a shit#like i cannot tell you how much i love the idea of fireworks and their history#but id also like to not have 12 consecutive minor panic attacks because the neighbors have some money to burn#it's worse around the 4th of july ’cause that also has the caveat of ''what tf are you even celebrating fuck you''#and im much more chill when it's like families celebrating with their kids because i remember how much fun mine had#but there are no kids around us#they're all adults and i want so badly to just be like ''yeah you do you man im glad youre having a good time'' but also like#they have to sell specialised jackets and blankets and medication for pets for nye and 4th of july#we dont have too many veterans in our part of town but i will never forget that pic of the vet hiding in the subway with his hands over#his ears#i dunno man i know not every activity can be accommodating to absolutely everyone#but i also think avoiding loud triggering (for a bunch of different reasons) noises is like#doable#there are quiet fireworks#thankfully my cat couldn't give two shits about loud noises but /I/ give two shits about loud noises#shut up cj#to delete

speaking of mordred, how is her doing? did he recover nicely from the surgery?
yes hes doing great!! hes almost totally back to normal now besides being kinda bald on his legs still. he does get a little irritated when you touch near his bad hip when its too cold or rainy out, but thats totally understandable tbh, my old surgery areas ache then too so i get it.
when its not bad weather though, he loooves to run around and jump and climb :) hes even started playing fetch with us again! hes very happy to be able to play with us and his sister again i think c':

Of course, disliking to fight at sea isn't the same as dislike the sea, though. At the same time, Max’s diary also portrays him as seasick, so it does feel like the writers really had different ideas on this.

I have now confirmed the same doesn’t happen in the JP version, where she has an empty “0“ string like the other late game characters (Torasu, Lyle, Bleu, Musashi, Hanzou, and Adam).
Finally, the JP version also has an extra tidbit about Queen Koron having sent the ship’s priest:

one thing I´ve learned, no matter if I go to a saloon or a baber shop unless I tell them very wehemnetly right before the act or rather when they are about to do it unprompted, to not shave of my “sideburns” babyhair fuzz (they barely can be called that I know) to “clean up my look“ they will leave me with the smothest baby face that not even mae-up can salvage...like bro I need those even if you think Im a girl just listen to what Im telling you
