A scientist at a paranormal institute, she's passionate about her work and treating her test subjects with decency. Energetic, loud, and creative, June tends to scary off or piss off her fellow scientists and works alone because of that. Well, except for Valentine. He doesn't mind their antics. She pursues the paranormal after their twin sister's death, as her sister was pursuing it before she died. June also studies it to try and find out why she feels like there's gaps in their memory, why looking at clown dolls and confetti poppers makes them want to sob for an unknown reason. And so they investigate the paranormal, hoping it provides answers to her endless questions.

(she had a fairy godmother that was shared with her sister but I haven't gotten that far into their lore. all I have is the fairy is themed around a confetti popper and liked clowns a lot.)

He pretends to be offended, but honestly it makes his heart melt

The fact that you went out of your way to actually buy him something makes him feel special.

Doing it just because without expecting anything grand in return.

If you give him flowers in private, he puts up less of a fuss.

“I'm not sick or anything, you know. Besides, you could've just plucked some weeds instead of spending so much money.” He says after (not so) begrudgingly taking the small bouquet from you.

Already knowing they won't last more than a week in his care. But still trying to hide the heat rising to his cheeks.

But if you give him flowers in front of his friends, namely Kuwabara, he makes a big show of it.

“What am I? A girl? Or did you just wanna take on gardening, because there's no way in hell you actually got me flowers.”

You end up calling him a jerk before leaving.

And he feels really bad after.

Despite his tough guy act, he genuinely does care about you and hates to see you upset. Especially when it's because of him and his big mouth.

So he shows up later to your house with an even bigger bouquet of roses.

“I'm sorry for being an ass. I didn't mean it I just…didn't want- Well, Kuwabara would never let me live it down.” He tries to explain.

But you weren't buying it, judging by how you still hadn't opened your door all the way. So he tries to apologize again the only way he knows how.

“I'll take you out wherever you want for a week if you let me in?” He says hopefully.

“That's not enough. You really hurt my feelings today.”

“Two weeks. And I'll buy you flowers every day. Your favorites~ sunflowers.”

He keeps true to his word and makes sure to always accept whatever you gift him with a huge smile from now on.

No matter if it makes him look like a softie or not.

As cliche as they are, they symbolize love. Your love.

And he can't help but be smitten by the fact.

He's not the slightest embarrassed whether you give them to him in public or private.

Even if the others tease him for it, he'll just come up with a witty remark to shut them down.

“Maybe they think you're a girl after all,” Yusuke said, followed by another taunt from Kuwabara.

“His delicate features got to them.”

“What a funny way of saying the two of you have never thought of getting your partners flowers before? You do know Valentine's Day is coming up right?” Kurama shut down.

And the both of them start racing to the nearest boutique. Pushing and shoving each other out of the way.

When you gift Kurama flowers, they don't wither away within a few weeks.

Instead he'll use his demon energy to keep them alive for years.

Might even plant some of them to make a new bouquet for you in the future.

All in all, it's one of the few gestures that makes his heart beat just a little bit faster. And he cherishes each and every bud.

He isn't all that familiar with human gestures, so he doesn't know what to make of it when you present him with a bouquet

“Are you taunting me?” He asks.

And you have to explain to him that sometimes humans like to gift flowers to their lovers as a way to show affection.

He personally thinks it's a waste of time and energy. A few weeds that shrivel up and die within a week are supposed to symbolize your feelings? Why waste your human currency when he can just show you affection through his actions. i.e. watching over you.

He tells you as much too, but the second he sees you deflate, he quickly snatches them up.

Grumbling out a ‘Don’t start sulking like a child. I didn't say I rejected your little gift.’ And a ‘Next time don't bother. Come to me directly.’

Hiei will only receive your flowers in private.

You will not be able to catch him in public to give them to him.

In fact, he rarely goes out during the day. Preferring to wait for you at home.

He will also not mention it to the others and trusts you'll do the same.

Your relationship is private, and he prefers to keep it that way.

While Hiei personally doesn't see the appeal of giving flowers, he knows you do.

Which is why you wake up one morning to see a single white orchid on your pillow

And he'll deny it was ever him that left it there.

The color red always seems to mean love, so most of the flowers he gifts to you in return are that color.

“i don’t care! please, please, please!” there might not be a way to say no in a way that won’t kill him.

you don’t get any response or even an acknowledgement to what you said. you wonder if he even heard you over his own cries. you pity him so much that you might actually start crying yourself.

“please don't cry,” you say, but that falls on deaf ears once again. you don’t know how to comfort him.

you sigh. there might be one way.

“okay… i’ll go on a date with you.” soobin perks up immediately, his face red and wet from his crying.

“really?” he asks meekly.

two-bit and marcia are finally dating and randy just watches in amusement as marcia talks about two-bit. originally randy isn’t jealous, he loves watching marcia’s eyes light up when she talks about what funny thing two-bit did that day and he loves watching her blush as she panics planning what she’s gonna wear the next time she sees him, but then in the back of his mind he starts to wonder if marcia ever talks this much about him (she does) and he gets a little bit jealous but over the months of marcia dating the both of them and two and randy starting to be friends (bc marcia said she refused to be caught in the middle if they couldn’t at least tolerate each other (this was never rly a concern but marcia is a pro at panicking))

Demetri joins Cobra Kai after a crisis of confidence. He’s tired of being seen as the “weak nerd” and wants to prove he can be strong too. (And he was afraid of loosing Eli tbh.) Eli is surprised but thrilled to have him by his side.

Eli becomes more confident with his mohawk, but he notices Demetri watching him differently. There’s a new tension when they spar, a hesitation that wasn’t there before. Eli played on this a lot because he knew it would destabilize Demetri.

Demetri isn’t naturally good at karate, but he’s determined. Eli adjusts Demetri’s stance by placing his hands on his hips. Eli starts finding excuses to be closer, helping Demetri adjust his stance, brushing dirt off his shoulder after training, even fixing his messy hair and Johnny always rolls his eyes.

Demetri fell first, he secretly sketches Eli during class when Eli is next to Miguel. He’s really good at it, and his sketchbook is filled with drawings of Eli in his « Hawk Era ». One day, Eli finds the sketchbook and is completely floored. Demetri tries to play it off, but Eli keeps one of the sketches and tucks it into his locker.

Demetri can’t resist making snarky comments during Cobra Kai training. When Kreese gives one of his intense speeches. Demetri mutters : “Yeah, because mercy is for people who don’t want to end up in prison.” Tory finds it hilarious, but Kreese was not amused.

Everyone found Demetri annoying when Cobra Kai passed under Kreese but the others realized that he was smart and quite useful even if they often tell him to shut up but Eli secretly likes to listen to what he said and always defends him by saying that he says something that can be useful

One day at the Cobra’s dojo, Demetri tells Eli he’s thinking about leaving Cobra Kai. Eli gets defensive, accusing Demetri of abandoning him like everyone else.

Demetri sending memes to Eli at 2 a.m. with captions like : “This is you when you’re trying to be intimidating.” And Eli pretends to be annoyed, but he saves every single one.

Demetri is not the strongest but his strategic mind helps him analyze his opponents

Once, Demetri trips, and Eli catches him by the waist. They freeze for a second too long before awkwardly pulling away.

During a heated sparring match, Eli pins Demetri to the ground, and they’re both breathing heavily. Demetri smirks and says, “You’re going soft on me.” Eli leans in close and whispers, “You’re my weakness, Demetri.” before pulling him up and walking away like it’s no big deal.

Tory rolls her eyes every time they bicker like an old married couple, and Robby just sighs and says “Can you two flirt somewhere else ?”

Eli don’t assume it and deny it but he is protective of Demetri, especially when other Cobras try to mess with him. He once punched Kyler for calling Demetri a “nerd,” and when Kreese asked why, Eli just said, “He’s mine.”

After everyone else leaves the dojo, Eli and Demetri stay behind to train or just hang out. They end up lying on the mats, staring at the ceiling, and talking about everything. Eli only has this moments when he is still fully himself and he must not play a role, and it was only with Demetri.

Tory and Demetri are constantly butting heads. But they became kind of friends after they have surprised each other to be in a shop for Valentine's Day... Tory was like “Keep the secret or I kill you.” until she saw what Demetri had been hiding behind his back and started teasing him about Eli.

Demetri is forced to fight Eli one day. Demetri refuses to fight. Eli, frustrated and conflicted, yells “Why do you always have to make things so difficult ?” And Demetri finally snaps, “Because I care about you, you idiot ! More than Cobra Kai ever will !”… The dojo falls silent, and Hawk is left speechless…

Eli lets Demetri braid his hair, even though it’s short and spiky, and he always carries Demetri’s favorite snacks in his backpack in case he gets hungry during training.

Eli accuses Demetri of being jealous and not understanding what it’s like to be strong when they argue about Cobra Kai

One night, Demetri admits “I joined Cobra Kai because I couldn’t stand the thought of losing you.” Eli responds by kissing him quickly, but Eli then said that Demetri had to forget about it and pretend it never happened. Eli avoids Demetri for days, torn between his loyalty to Cobra Kai and his feelings for Demetri. Eli remained in denial, but Demetri couldn't forget it, he had fallen first, remember ?

When Eli and Demetri finally decide to leave Cobra Kai, Demetri whispers “You can be both badass and kind. And we could do that together.” and Eli replies, “I don’t why I bite”. Demetri taking him in his arms.. Eli cried.

They joined Miyagi-Do the night Cobra Kai’s students went to Daniel's house and came to the dojo the next day to apologize to Daniel and their friends.

When they joined Miyagi-Do, Eli noticed that Demetri looked at him less, Eli saw Demetri happy and it made him jealous to see that he was not happy because of him.. Hey Eli, what happen here ? That’s the first time this happen right ?

But at the same time Demetri seemed more confident and it was strangely Eli's turn to fall (harder) for Demetri. At the same time Eli was sad to see him closer to the other students, but at the same time Eli was completely intimidated by the way he was more confident. Something strange happens in his stomach every time he sees Demetri in this way.

Demetri starts to notice how Eli looks at him when he thinks no one’s watching.

Demetri saw the change but it just can't be reciprocated… It can’t be.. Eli played with him a little bit when they were in Cobra Kai but that doesn't mean Eli was really in love with him and is currently, right ?

Eli became softer the longer he was at Miyagi-Do, Demetri and Eli remained close but Eli fully realized what was happening as Demetri tried to forget what he felt for Eli and it worked quite well.

It pissed Eli off to see Demetri turn a blind eye to this situation. Eli then called Moon in a rage to ask for advice, he was angry against Demetri without knowing exactly why.

Moon invited Eli to her house, Eli starts pacing around the room, ranting about how Demetri is “too passive” and “doesn’t get it.”

Moon listens quietly, sipping her tea, and then says, “Eli, why are you really mad at Demetri ? What he doesn't get it ?”—————-Eli freezes. “What are you talking about ?” Moon raises an eyebrow. “You’re not fooling anyone. You’re mad because you care about him. Like, really care about him. And it’s freaking you out.”

Eli starts overthinking everything after Moon’s talk. He spends hours replaying moments with Demetri in his head, questioning why he’s been so angry when, deep down, he just wants to be close to him. He doesn’t know what to do with those feelings, but he can’t ignore them anymore.

Demetri feels something’s off, but he doesn’t know what. Eli’s being distant, but also… more present than usual. Demetri’s confused, but he doesn’t want to ask.

Moon doesn’t directly push Eli to talk to Demetri, but she’s always there with that knowing look. Every time she sees him trying to bury his feelings, she just raises an eyebrow, knowing he can’t keep running forever.

Demetri starts to notice something’s off. He doesn’t fully understand it, but the way Eli keeps pulling away, then comes back acting like nothing’s changed—it doesn’t sit right with him. He senses that Eli’s hiding something, but he doesn’t know if it’s something he wants to know.

Eli starts doing little things, like sending Demetri a random text to check in, or letting him win a game of something, but always hiding behind a joke to avoid saying anything serious. He’s terrified of being vulnerable.

Eli starts to do the smallest things that show he cares, but he hides behind sarcasm or an awkward joke. Like when Demetri’s been working all day and Eli drops a drink in front of him, saying something like, “You’re gonna need this more than me,” when really, it’s just his way of trying to be nIcE without admitting it.

Moon starts seeing right through him. She knows what Eli’s doing, and it’s starting to get under her skin. She can only watch him deny his feelings for so long before she gives him a push.

Eli's weak point is the way Demetri has to open his mouth with his teeth visible, he finds him terribly cute that way

One night, when everything is too much for Eli to keep bottled up, he send on Ig : “I care about you, Demetri. And it’s more than just friendship, alright ? I can’t even explain it, but it scares me. I hate that it’s you, but it is, and I can’t hide it anymore.”

Demetri often has two reactions when he received an important message : Either he responds extremely quickly and needs an immediate response, he stays in the conversation OR he rereads the message and the conversation 50 times until he can't sleep. In both cases he panics but in a different way. He can do both at the same time.

That night he was being unable to answer. He reread the message many times without being able to sleep.

When Yasmine returned to high school Yasmine and Demetri went out together. Eli went a little crazy, he didn't understand how Demetri could ignore this situation and start a relationship with Yasmine so quickly.

Demetri has never had anyone in his life, he is quite shy and never dares to make the first move. With Yasmine it became easy because even if he was shy it was clear that she was leading their relationship but with Eli he made a 404 error. His relationship with Yasmine was pretty fast in fact.

Yasmine and Tory dated for a while. Demetri was surprised but it was okay for him.

When Tory finally joined Miyagi-Do, Demetri and Tory's relationship was strange and distant. People could notice that because they knew she was with Yasmine it wasn't that long ago.

Demetri became close to Eli again, Eli accept his true comeback, Dem told him about MIT but it wasn't in Eli's plans to go there. This has become a subject of conflict for them.

Okay, so during Capture the Flag, Eli and Demetri were not okay. Like, at all. It wasn’t just the game, Eli and Demetri definitely had a moment. They got caught up in the heat of the game, but the real argument started after when the competitive tension spilled over. :

Demetri completely losing it. “You don’t get it, Eli. I don’t know how to deal with all of this… MIT, us, everything ! It’s too much !” But Eli froze. “Us ?” he repeated, the word lingering in the air. But Demetri shut down, realizing what he’d just said. He didn’t mean to expose that much so he went to join the others to show his flag.

THIS HOW WE CAME TO THEIR TRUE FIRST KISS, A LITTLE STORY :o :

Later that night, Eli sent Demetri a text. Just one word : “Movie ?” - No context, no explanation. Just movie… Because Eli needed to see him, needed to talk to him, but he didn’t know how to say any of that out loud.

The movie theater was dark, and they sat next to each other, but there was this gap between them. Not physically—they were close enough that their arms brushed every time one of them reached for the popcorn—but emotionally? It was like there was this invisible wall, and neither of them knew how to break it down.

Eli kept stealing looking at Demetri, and every time Demetri caught him, their eyes would meet for half a second before they both looked away, like they were scared of what might happen if they held each other’s gaze for too long.

The walk home was quiet, the kind of quiet that feels heavy, like the night itself was holding its breath. And then, out of nowhere, Demetri hands shoved deep into his hoodie pockets, then, without warning, it just slipped out : “I love you.” SO… Eli froze. Like, full-stop, mid-step, heart-skipping-a-beat froze. He turned his head slowly to look at Demetri, completly serious. “What did you say ?”

Demetri’s cheeks immediately flushed a deep pink. He squeezed his eyes shut, his mouth slightly open like he couldn’t believe the words had actually escaped. His heart was pounding so hard he thought it might burst out of his chest. “I… I love you” he repeated, louder this time but still trembling, like he was terrified of what might happen next.

Eli’s breath caught in his throat. He stared at Demetri, his chest rising and falling like he’d just run a marathon. His mind was racing, his heart pounding so hard he thought it might burst. “Demetri…” he started, but the words got stuck.

Demetri opened his eyes, his gaze locking with Eli’s. He looked terrified but determined, like he’d just thrown himself off a cliff and was waiting to see if Eli would catch him. “You don’t have to say it back” he said quickly w shaky voice. “I just… I needed you to know.” (KISS NOW NOW NOW)

Eli stepped closer, his hands trembling as he reached up to brush a strand of hair out of Demetri’s face. His touch was so gentle it made Demetri’s breath hitch. “What if I…” Eli started, his voice low and hesitant, his eyes flicking down to Demetri’s lips and then back up. “What if I really want to kiss you right now ?” (🌈)

Demetri’s heart skipped a beat and he nodded. “Yeah” he said, his cheeks still burning. “I’d… I’d be okay with that.”

And then Eli kissed him. It wasn’t soft or tentative : it was everything. Eli’s lips pressed against Demetri’s with a kind of desperate intensity, like he’d been holding back for so long and couldn’t anymore. Demetri’s hands flew to Eli’s waist, gripping him like he was afraid Eli might disappear if he let go.

The kiss was messy but perfect, full of all the emotions they’d been too scared to name. When they finally pulled away, both of them were breathless, their foreheads resting against each other. Demetri blinked, his eyes wide, his cheeks still flushed. “Wow,” he said, his voice shaky but full of awe. “That was… wow.”

Eli laughed, a soft, breathless sound, his hands still cupping Demetri’s face. “Yeah,” he said, his voice rough with emotion. “It was.”

Demetri’s grin started to spread, his usual teasing creeping back in. “So, uh… was that your way of saying you meant the text ?”

Eli rolled his eyes, but was smiling too, his thumb brushing over Demetri’s cheek. “Yeah, dumbass.” he said, his voice fond. “I meant it.”

Demetri’s grin widened, his hands still gripping Eli’s waist like he was afraid Eli might disappear if he let go. “Good,” he said, his voice trembling but full of relief. “Because I meant it too. I just… didn’t know how to say it back.”

Eli raised an eyebrow, his smile turning playful. “So you just ghosted me instead ?”

Demetri let out a shaky laugh, his cheeks burning even brighter. “I panicked, okay ?” getting defensive but still teasing. “I didn’t know how to handle it. You can’t just drop a bomb like that in a text and expect me to be cool about it.” (DEMETRI I DONT APOLOGIZE U FOR BEING STRESS LIKE THAT PERSONALLY)

Eli laughed, the sound soft and full of affection. “Yeah, well..” he said, his voice low and teasing, “I think you handled it just fine.” Demetri’s grin turned smug, his hands sliding up to rest on Eli’s shoulders. “Oh, so you’re saying I’m a good kisser ?”

Eli rolled his eyes again, but he was still smiling, his hands moving to rest on Demetri’s hips. “Don’t let it go to your head Dem.” he said, his voice fond.

Demetri laughed, the sound shaky but full of relief, and then he kissed Eli again, slower this time, savoring the moment. When they pulled away, they were both smiling like idiots, their hands intertwined as they started walking again.

it was indeed! i was at the beach in south carolina with my roommate and some friends after our senior year. there was enough time for us all to do one thing we wanted to do, and one of the other girls wanted to go clubbing, so...that was the one and only time i think i've ever been somewhere i'd call a club, lol.

the guy looked like he was probably around our age and very lost. very what am i even doing here. and tbh i do still wonder what he was doing there, because he seemed about as experienced with dancing as i was (Not At All), but we figured it out. it was fun! and he was very respectful with his hands, even after he turned me around. so much so that i actually felt kinda bad about possibly giving him the wrong idea (although he did see me arrive with a bunch of other girls; hopefully he was not expecting very much?), so i did also give him a thank-you kiss before i left. and he didn't look lost or upset when i glanced back, so!

this did lead to a somewhat funny moment as we were leaving, when one of the other girls i was with asked, "aren't you dating someone?" and i was like, "...yes? that's why i didn't give him my phone number?" and she went, "but you kissed him?" aaaand i remembered not everybody grows up watching their mom wench random guys at the renaissance faire for fun with their dad laughing nearby. oops? 😂 i'm not usually into smooching strangers, but kisses are just kisses man, idk. this one wasn't even fully on the mouth.

anyway, i never saw that guy again but i hope he's doing well. it's not like i have very much to go on, but he seemed nice.

You know how Kohane is a fan of WxS? And there's a popular HC (at least I think it's an HC, feels real to me tbh) that Akito is a MMJ fan? HC: At least one person in each group is a fan of another group.

Ichika loves listening to Nightcord's music, she'll often try to play their songs on her guitar. Saki, an Airi fan, obviously loves MMJ (this grows after that one Valentine's Day where she made chocolates with Airi and Emu). She'll never admit it, but Shiho loves WxS. They make her smile and feel good, and honestly it's nice to see someone who cared for her chasing his dreams. And Honami surprises everyone when she's able to memorize VBS's songs. Both covers and original (Honami busting out the rap for Shanti and the entirety of Machi to the surprise of literally everyone around her).

Minori finds herself visiting PXL more often just to see WxS perform (and okay, maybe she also wants to spend time with them and this is the best time to ask). Haruka listens to Leo/need's music whenever she's working out. Airi does her best to attend as many of VBS's live events as she can. And Shizuku actively listens and waits for Nightcord's music.

Kohane, while obviously a WxS fan, also enjoys listening to Nightcord, especially on days where she feels upset and needs something that will help her cry, rather than cheer her up (because that's what she needs at the moment, a good cry). An has a secret account she uses to watch MMJ stream (she's worried that karma will come after her for all the teasing she's done against Akito, she has no idea the other VBS members already know she has a secret account because they watched her log in). Toya, ever the supportive (adopted) brother, goes to Leo/need's concerts (sometimes even skipping practice to do so). And much like Shiho, Akito will never admit to being a WxS fan (imagine if Tsukasa or Rui found out? What if they pull him up on stage like they've done with Kohane? No thanks... okay, fine, Nene can know. JUST NENE!!... He isn't sure where he stands with Emu knowing.)

Tsukasa jumps from group to group depending on what he's working on, currently he's mainly listening to VBS. Emu will sometimes join a MMJ stream and be one of the most active chatters (sometimes being reported for spam). Rui tends to have Nightcord on in the background as he works. Nene listens to Leo/need and will sometimes ask Ichika if she has the lyrics so she can learn them.

Kanade enjoys MMJ and will listen to any song of theirs that Mizuki has shared (since she tends to get them first), she loves how it makes her feel and she'll often use those feelings towards her own compositions. Mafuyu listens to WxS music, both as a way to, maybe, better understand Emu, and as a way to, maybe, just maybe, better understand her own emotions. They do a good job displaying them, so... Ena refuses to admit she loves VBS. It has nothing to do with Akito or the fact she's the one responsible for her little brother chasing street music. Totally (it is but if she admits it, she'll cry). Mizuki has made several MVs for Leo/need. They sit in a flashdrive she carries around. She loves their music and sometimes hopes to run into one of them (Saki most likely seeing how she's Tsukasa's sister) so she can give them the MVs (hopefully they like them, she was so nervous making them).

This was supposed to be a fun Valentine's day tag game, but alas, I hadn't had the time to do it until now. Anyway, I found these cute make-your-ship games and I thought what better way to see what my friend's ships are than to make this tag game!

First off, since WYGTYA was the first fic I started posting, it's only fair to start with the ships from there!

One the left, we have the Ravvyraak! She's making Miraak hold her lute because she wants to get another fancy goblet of booze, of course. She's probably teasing him and calling him a lightweight.

And on the right, we have Rumcurio! I haven't picked a background because I can really see Rumarin and Marcurio sneaking off into a dark corner to make out :)))) Maybe both ships are at the same party.

Do Fenrik/Miraak and Rumarin have the same haircut? Yes, but consider this: they got ready for the party together because they're besties, and ever since Chapter 10, Rumarin wants Fenrik to always braid his hair.

And here's a little bonus! My Nerevarine (the red-haired one) and her girlfriend, who is a great-aunt (adoptive) of Ravonna! She is the one who brought a literal emerald bar for the Tavern when the family business started in Blacklight, thus giving it the name "The Emerald Bar"! Aaaand, Ravvy's adoptive dad named her after this woman! I can never have enough Ravonnas, underused name tbh.

And now for the pirates that are rotting my brain (SPOILER WARNING FOR THE HOTHS SHIPS, I guess)

In order of appearance, we first have Rhaim, everyone's favourite werewolf, with Edward, this annoyingly competitive Nord that's really good at cooking and throwing knives. (the apple is a reference to a dumb line of dialogue that Rhaim says in the upcoming chapter!)

Up next we have Rajeena, skilled warrior, very well-trained, is used to the pirate life, and the crazy Breton named Iresette, who just got a taste of freedom and she realized that she's been starved of it for all her life. (These two haven't appeared yet, but the brainrot is too strong not to include them here)

I know this next one is basically the first ship that appears in HOTHS, but it's not really a canon ship and this is all I'll say on the matter. The redhead is Anne, the voice of reason, endlessly loyal to the woman who introduced her to piracy, which is none other than the captain herself, Signe! WYGTYA readers already know how important Signe is for the plot and which iconic Skyrim NPC she secretly is ;) ALSO, THE ONE-EYED CHARACTER DESIGN IS NOW MY FAVE SIGNE TRAIT!

Have you heard of PB’s vip special, Villainous Valentines or something? I don’t have vip but Olivia has a route and if the spoilers are true….her chapter opens with MC rejecting Liam’s proposal 😬😬

PB just cannot give that guy a break!

Sorry I got so late in responding to this, anon. The past few months have been packed IRL.

I'm kinda not surprised that the MC rejecting Liam's proposal was the opening they went for... though I'm very tickled by the prospect of TRR2 being a romantic starting point for Olivia x MC considering all Olivia did was mope about for Liam and disappear for 3/4ths of the tour 🤣🤣🤣

This isn't much compared to a lot of other shit they've already done to him tbh. I'd say PB did far far worse to Liam already - Kara and Jen just recently had written a "backstory" kinda TRR-story for the now-defunct Storyloom, claiming to explore "Liam's perspective" of the bachelor party in TRR1 Ch 1. In this they made several retcons, few of which I'm listing down:

1. Acc to this retcon, NY was a detour from a larger diplomatic tour, rather than something the group and Liam had actually planned to have his bachelor party at.

On the surface this seems like a good change, but it also excuses Liam's friends not arranging for things Liam actually liked for his own bachelor party (remember - he'd told the group about his love for the Statue of Liberty, and they never bothered to even see if something could be done about that. They took him to a dingy bar), leaving a complete stranger like the MC to make that effort instead.

2. Remember how Liam approached us to apologise for the way his friends behaved? According to this version of TRR, Drake persuaded him to do that. Apparently in the story, Liam wants to go up and talk to her and ppl like Tariq and Maxwell give some nonsense suggestions before Drake says this:

First of all, they make him sound like he was socially inept in the dialogue options before this. Secondly, I think Liam can make his own decisions without Drake making them for him, but the writers' boners for Drake wouldn't allow them to admit that.

He confirms that the apology was Drake's idea later in this story, saying this:

This change doesn't make much sense unless you realize that the writers had Drake claim Liam was leading the MC on back in TRR3. This is maybe the second time the TRR team tried to retcon the events of the book to make Drake's lies the truth (the first time, they tried to rewrite the first four chapters of the book so that Liam was way more flirty).

I'm sorry but when Liam approached the MC with respect and apologized for his friends' behaviour, that was his choice and those were his actions. No retcon from a set of biased and greedy writers is going to change that.

Compared to that this Olivia thing is...okay? Like, you really can't explore the possibility of romancing her without having the MC turn down Liam' proposal first. That's just the structure of the story. It's whatever.
