wait i love ilaw actuslly hes so little guycore. tell us more

EEEEE HIIII . im so glad u asked abt him cuz for the past week or so ive been frothing at the mouth thinking about him and his little gaggle of freaks . tho tbh he is Not really little guy and moreso shadow the hedgehog but in sky:cotl form. its hilarious and i hate him (affectionate)

however unfortunately im one of those people who if i dont know everything there is to know about the lore of a media im super into i just start making stuff up . and sky is one of those occasions . so bare with me

so starting off explaining some sky:cotl lore for those that know absolutely nothing about it . basically . in the lore, wayyy before you (the player) exist , the world of sky was prosperous and full of life and everything was running smoothly like silk butter

but eventually a corrupt fella came around and became a dictator and ruined everything for everyone, dark dragons began to show up and basically strip everyone of their light (which turns them to stone or just straight up kills you)

so (starting to make things up from here on out bcus im not sure if its true to canon or not), when the darkness started to fall, the wasteland elder was at the frontlines of the war that ended up happening, and got sealed away like all the other elders after the war was lost but not killed completely.

ilaw was a high ranking soldier under the wasteland elder and considered them one of his greatest friends (totally not in a gay way) , and it was hard to ever find them apart

ilaw tried to protect his elder (i use the name 'tsadi' for the wasteland elder even though thats confirmed not canon, i still like that its a thing thats in the wiki and its a nice name) tsadi, but ended up failing

tsadi gave light to ilaw so he could continue going on and fighting the war (well. moreso 'run away and save yourself',) but ilaw didint want to leave tsadi behind, and ended up falling right before tsadi did

fast forward to current day (like. hundreds or thousands of years in the future, im unsure how long of time had passed between the shattering and current day in sky), a colleague of ilaw that was revived finds him and offers him light so he isnt trapped anymore

cue ilaw having a massive identity crisis about the fact he fucked up and did not keep himself safe like tsadi wanted OR keep tsadi safe , and failed his duties to keep his people safe in general

so he ends up spending mostly ALL of his time in wasteland, brooding over the fact that pretty much everything is different now and everyone he used to know is either dead or missing

bcuz of this though , he ends up meeting a moth (what people call "new players") there, after saving them from a krill (dark dragon). this of course causes said moth to become attached at his heel and they never leave after that. accidental moth adoption

it helps him heal somewhat, because for awhile he was very closed off and secluded and would only really talk to his colleague, or others that he considered close friends (which. at the time after his revival, wasnt very many)

eventually, said moth heads back to wasteland after building up the courage and makes it through. though, when she returns, they tell ilaw that they saw tsadi there in the temple. it does make him go into shock for awhile and for a bit after that he doesnt head back into the wastelands due to immense terror. 💔 aand the healing process restarts

so. lots of war trauma and gay longing and tragedy . ive cried over these idiots a few times and i love them to death .

but i do have a couple more small facts about ilaw ! or other thoughts i had written down ect ..

he finds the skykids of current day a tad bit annoying right after he gets revived but eventually softens because the hustle and bustle is comforting . something something lots of background noise so he doesnt have to think about his own problems

i also often imagine him easily beating the shit out of the krill in wasteland . but he wouldnt attempt that in current day because i doubt he trusts himself not to get fucked up again plus hes too busy thinking about tsadi

just. sits utop the crumbled forts and grumbles to himself while imagining himself beating up krill . hes literally shadow the hedgehog but in sky form . if he knew what kinning was he would kin that guy

Of course we could consider that Belial's loyalty was programmed into him, but tbh that makes me sad, so let's not go with that. The thought that he was made to be ignored and used is just sad, because he can't help it. The thought that he did it to himself because this is a hell of his own choosing is slightly better, because that means one day he can maybe choose something else.

Besides, WMTSB as a whole is about free will and choices

I can accept that Lucilius added this proclivity to get attached and be incredibly loyal to Belial because it's one of Sahar's attributes that he put on the trash pile, but Belial still chose Lucilius to get attached to. That might be motivated by how he watched Lucifer get treated with favoritism and yearned for that himself, but that's neither here nor there.

But Belial being literally made to desperately love Lucilius is just cruel. And I wouldn't put it beyond Lucilius to essentially create a sentient sex toy who's yearning to be used, only to not use it, ever. But like I said, it's sad. And he seems so genuinely annoyed by it sometimes that I don't think he expected it to get quite so bad. Sure, it would be funny if he created Belial this way and then got upset at his creation doing what he made him to do, there's some irony in there, a bit of "hoist by his own petard".

But I choose to believe that, since we established Lucilius already put so much into Lucifer and Belial, like their evolution purposes, the Sahar stuff and them also needing to fill in for the wedges of light and dark and life and death... They're already serving quadruple duty, I don't think he thought to also add "Loves me desperately" to one of them. Least of all the one that wasn't his clone, y'know.

Yeah i agree honestly. I think with the themes of wmtsb and the irony of Belial saying he doesn't have a choice while he chose to live like that, it's important for Belial's obsession to be his own, not something he was programmed to be. Because it means he always had a way out, he just chose not to.

And it is also more realistic. Because yeah this type of neglect and abuse can lead to be, instead, clinging even more to the one who is making you suffer. Because people don't always cope well with what happens to them.

Especialy since he serves of contrast to Sandalphon and how Lucilius neglected him as well, but how Sandalphon instead worked to break free and find something for himself. They contrast each other in the way they were neglected and used by Lucilius. And it has more weight if they have the same level of free will in this decision.

I do think there is still this idea of the sides of Sahar Lucilius tried to get rid off, that ended up being directed at him. But maybe we can take it as more metaphoric or like, just something that Belial was naturally more susceptible to do because of other attributes, and that it is because Belial developed as his own person that he naturally reproduced this patern from Sahar, without it being literally programmed by Lucilius. Esp as you say, with how Belial could just compare how he was treated differently in order to really have everything alligning for an unhealthy devotion to form.

Also honestly Lucilius creati g a sex toy just in case only to disregard him because he realizes he has no use for him is. Not unlikely. After all, creating something just to make it just in case and discarding it when in faft there was no use to it, js what he did to Sandalphon. I doubt he freated Belial for that tho, but the idea of implemanting something like that in case before realizing he doesnt need it is possible. Thk i reallh do believe Belial's sex characteristics were more another thing that developped organically without much input from Lucilius other than just normal development from socilizjng with someone.

As for Sahar i do think it was something that was so vague to Lucilius thag, perhaps the separation of values was a bit subconscious, like, Lucilius didnt genuinely think of Sahar as a being and his qualities as solid things and stuff. If it makes sense.

But yeah i genuinely think it was more the circumstances of Belial's life and being starved for affection especially from seeing how loved his twin was, like a regular person, that shapped him to what he is today, rather than Lucilius programming all of that directly.

Giving Belial more agecncy so he can screw his own life up on his own terms.

you know its these moments that make me wonder how actually mad Alastor was when he sent Mimzy away like why

sure she messed up the hotel a bit (but compared to like the average day in hell doesnt seem to bad tbh) but ultimately, given by Alastor's conversation with husk and Mimzy actions, what she did doesn't seem to out of line with their relationship.

husk makes notes of how often mimzy does this (going to Alastor to fix her problems) but Al despite not owning her soul or having really other self gaining ties to her doesnt seem to mind. Frankly I wouldn't be shocked if he somehow took pride in it like "thats right im so powerful of course she comes to me". And both of them seem to genuinely like each other to some degree I mean look at those smiles (and how they talk abt one another). Might not be the most balanced of all relationships but eh not the point of this rant. the point is if this is a common occurrence for them why would Alastor send Mimzy away. If he didn't want to help her he wouldn't and if she truly pissed him off I doubt he would've been so respectful in essentially telling her to fuck off. also given the gag that stupid wall is broken all the time and Alastor has already made note he doesn't really care about the hotel or its residents so WHY???

is it a nod towards him having to protect the hotel against his will, does he not want mimzy messed up with his deal so he sent her off, does she know abt his deal

sooooo the inevitable happened and rhys messaged me saying he doesnt he feels how he was feeling before and that he doesnt feel the romantic connection progressing.

i am annoyed that it took him a while to say that - however i acknowledge he is a busy individual i just wish i knew sooner so i wasnt fretting about. however im comparing a bit to when i felt the same towards max - i knew i wanted to tell him and be honest, but i wanted to do it when i actually had the time to think about what i wanted to say

i cant complain really - this is the dating game and this is how it works! you go on dates with people and see the vibe. people are allowed to change their mind, i have done it myself. i am just not used to being on the receiving end - in fact im pretty sure this is the first time this has ever happened to me so the feelings i am feeling right now feel weird and new

the message he sent me was actually nice. he mentioned he did genuinely have a lovely time with me and that i am a nice person, and said thank you for the mems. it is true - had a lovely time everytime i saw him, especially over pride. pride was wonderful and really good vibes. i got a bit carried away in my head about us because he made me realise that he has a lot of qualities i want in a person - especially things like someone who isnt shy, loves meeting people, and has a big heart to help people and someone who demonstrates selflessness

i figured it was when he first came over that i was a bit boring or something - but we then agreed to see each other again and he would tell me he misses me etc. then i went to his for a night in manchester - tbh i didnt have the best time just because the club was a bit boring. but dinner was nice and i enjoyed hanging with him and his friends. part of me is like uhhhhhh so when did it change. and also i acknowledge that we are in different cities - but in order to see if there is a romantic connection you have to put in some effort? which i dont really feel like i was getting after that manchester day. idk, my head is a bit spun over it. however he could have been feeling this whenever. there is 0 point in me trying to pinpoint when things changed and evaluate - im sure if i did something wrong he would have said. but he said he genuinely had a good time so its done now innit. i did really like him but i know i will get over it

if i was chatting to someone else in my position i would be like listen yeah, take the L, at least u know where u stand, and that there are over 8 billion people in this world - someone somewhere will literally love you for exactly who you are and you will find your person

He thinks your intimidating side is very attractive, and will remind you of it everyday.

When you tell him about your family and why you got the scar, he will become very protective over you. He will also be confused why would someone like you get hurt by their own family? He himself has a family and he would never do anything to them to hurt them, he actually would do anything to protect them!

ok i am desperately trying to remember as much as i can from sonic 2 (will be seeing it again in a couple days) but a few things that i loved/noticed

- i know that a few people were worried (including me) about them leaning too heavily toward the superhero angle with the whole blue justice thing, but that was mercifully really short and was just a way of showing how sonic was being overly reckless/arrogant! and it was nice to see them showing that side of him too

- i just have to say. the winter soldier line WAS annoying, but that fucking pay off?? the whole ‘bucky saves steve’ thing but with knuckes and sonic?? hello? IM LOSING IT

- unfortunately i found jim carrey insufferable in this movie but my guy deserves credit for giving 200%

- i didn’t find the movie particularly funny at any point and in fact there were many bits i found just unbelievably cringe (the siberian dance off, for one - uptown funk is so old now?? the adventure pose maybe JUST saves it). i mean... did we really need a flossing reference in both movies

- but that negative stuff aside, this was just so clearly a movie by fans for fans and i honestly think that’s why critics dont like it. the audience of this film is either a) sonic fans or b) kids and there is no in-between

- on that note!! i was LIVING for the interactions between tails + knuckles + sonic, it’s such a blessed dynamic and i loved how they all got to individually play off each other.

- there were so many facets to knuckles too - his gullibility, his vulnerability, his longing for a family, his strength and honour, his ruthlessness... like they allowed him to be a bit dumb and clueless without making him a complete joke which i adored

- knuckles and sonic bonding over their difficult pasts and sonic not blaming knuckles for longclaw’s death was really nice? like sonic really didn’t want to fight him. and BABY KNUCKLES. knuckles’ dad! ken penders is losing his shit

- this movie was just so deeply and unashamedly earnest (even with the power of friendship stuff and emphasis on family!!) that i couldnt help but smile through most of it. 

- oh man, i just. all the clever references to the games?? the sonic 06 reference! the unleashed reference! even the thing with the chilli dog falling from the sky felt like a black knight reference!!

- seriously was losing my fucking MIND during the super sonic scene. it just encapsulated for me how long it feels since ive seen a movie like this that gives the fans what they want! I mean?? the chaos emeralds?? sonic’s design including the floating quills and the red eyes?? he looked soOOOO COOL

- knuckles talking about ice cream DID NOT DISAPPOINT. i really didnt expect them all to be just hanging out together at the end but that fucken killed me man

- GUN!!!

- TONED DOWN OLIVE GARDEN REFERENCES THANK YOU

- the human characters 100% got shafted but uhhh. i didnt mind it all that much?? and there was that huge moment with maddie and tom accepting sonic as their son and sonic talking tom dad like,.. that’s pretty important

- colleen was soooo good she just seamlessly slotted in and it was so nice to hear her voice throughout!!

- i loved seeing how the bits in the trailers were chopped and changed and moved out of context, it was cool to see how everything actually slotted together in the movie

- it was interestng how they’ve made it so the chaos emeralds are components of the master emerald rather than a separate thing? to the point where super sonic was said to have absorbed the power of the master emerald rather than the chaos emeralds... but its nbd tbh

- SHADOW SHADOW SHADOW!!!!! SHadoW!! he looked so good - if anything it looked like the red fur around his eyes was more obvious? he also looked kinda sad : ‘( i cannot wait to see his final design! so i assume the next movie is going to be pretty much just sa2 with a few changes? it doesnt really surprise me - shadow is just way too popular, and it felt like it was foreshadowed by the sa-2 on the gun helicopter. i like to think this means amy will be introduced too!

- tanjiro likes to run his hand through inosuke's hair, inosuke in return complains but never moves away

- inotan is autism(inosuke) x adhd(tanjiro), and sometimes inosuke would have trouble talking bc he can't find a word and tanjiro would help him finish whatever he's trying to say, except on some days they both cant think of the word so they're just there while zenitsu quesrions them

- my hc is that inosuke is trans so tanjiro just comforts him whenever he's going through gender dysphoria

- modern au inosuke would play the electroc guitar and be musically inclined, tanjiro doesnt know jack shit about music but likes to see inosuke do his funky little thing and play funky little tunes. tanjiro just watches tbh, knows nothing but keeps staring anyway

- inosuke finds random shit for tanjiro like rocks and acorns, tanjiro doesnt know what to do with them or what they're for but keeps them anyway

- they are the ever

MUGEN TRAIN ARC SPOILERS

was rambling to a friend about inotan and even of they had'nt watched kny their description is so on point bc during the mugen train arc, at one point enmu kept putting tanjiro to sleep and he had to cut his neck in order to wake up again(HUGEEE PROPS BC IT ACTUALLY TAKES A LOT OF COURAGE), but whenever he woke up he just woke up with his eyes open so enmu kept on putting him to sleep, and it came to a point where he just cllsed his eyes and didnt knlw if it was a dream or not and was about to cut his neck in real life, but inosuke just came along and slammed tanjiro's arm to the ground and told him not to die in a lame way and to me its just so,, its so wholesome like even of he was laughing you could tell he was trying to encourage tanjiro.

another point in the story they had to cut off the demon's neck but it was protected by flesh, so the plan was for inosuke to cut off the flesh so tanjiro could get to the neck, but halfway through enmu was about to put tanjiro to sleep again but inosuke just told tanjiro to keep going and focus and its just so,, yk,, bc inosuke clearly cares for tanjiro even if its in an agressive way its really heartwarming.

last point in the movie, after everything is done, inosuke rushes over to tanjiro bc tanjiro for stabbed in the stomach and on his way there he throws his swords onto the ground before holding tanjiro,, need i say more. HE CARES SO MUCH ABOUT TANJIRO I CANT

okay okay,, but they're so wholesome i cant state this enougha anf i iwll never state this enough bc the relationship they've built is so amazing,, they've learnt to trust each other anf to look out and care for each other its so insane. like yk i see other romance animes where it starts out as infatuation and it branches out into love or smth like that,, but inotan is so different. they actually 'hated' each other at first,, maybe not hate but they did find each other annoying at first bc when tjey met they fought and tanjiro had to literally headbutt inosuke unconscious so that he woukd stop fighting,, but as they slowly go on adventures tanjiro cares for inosuke, gives him his food and praises him and in return inosuke slowly starts to trust tanjiro and care for him and its just so wholesome bc ijnosuke has not had proper human interaction up to this point and tanjiro slowly nurturing him and he in return developing this deep connection with tanjirk is so heartwarming. like it just tugs on my heartstrings so bad like,, thsy go on adventures anf inosuke slowly trusts tanjiro like he TRUSTS tanjiro??? and thats coming from INOSUKE and its just,, they're so skrumnly and wholesome,, its actually so wholesome to see inosuke feeling 'howa howa' (dizzy, or flustered) whenever tanjiro praises him bc yoy can tell, even if he yells at tanjiro he hates the feeling or he wants tanjiro to stop, he actually enjoys when tanjiro does it and thats when yot can see inosuke showing emotion other than anger and agressiveness,, and for a character that agressive its so wholesome to see him calm down with tanjiro and actually see him experience emotion. also its just really cute how inosuke primarily only trusts tanjiro,, bc u can see him holding onto tanjiro (esp in social situations) when he's overwhelmed by the number of people around him since he lived alone most of his life,, and its so cute seeing tanjiro try to calm him down

truth be told, shouto never wanted children 

he knew how important someone’s childhood meant

shouto honestly couldn’t trust himself not to mess it up :(

so imagine his surprise when he came to fall in love with this little boy, no older than six, he found snooping around a dumpster 

it’s actually kind of funny how they came to be bc shouto was 100% put off by the kid

when they made eye contact, they stared at each other like

before the brat blew him a raspberry and tried to run off 

ofc he caught up to him and, despite the boy’s tantrum, the two went straight to the police

and for some reason, todoroki ended up with him in his condo

the first couple of weeks were terrible 

it seemed like Yuuma hated his guts 

shouto let him have his space and only really pestered him when it was time to do the essentials

at midoriya’s suggestion, he’d try and talk to him about his day or how his therapy sessions went, but it was no use 

the boy would tell him not to worry about it and scurry off 

this happened for some time and honestly, todoroki was at his wit’s end 

until one day, shouto realized that it wasn’t that the child hated him, he just didn’t want to be a burden him

then everything clicked 

mustering up the courage, todoroki one day asked Yuu if he’d like to help him make dinner and the way the kid’s eyes brightened up at the chance to be useful made him a bit sad

but he pushed it away in favor for how the boy blossomed as he showed shouto the right way to stir meat stew and make onion rings

at the end, the red n white hero gave him an honest smile and thanked him for his help

Yuuma looked at him for a long time before bursting into tears 

it was the first time shouto had seen him cry in weeks 

it was also the first time they hugged

from then on, it was almost magical how well they clicked 

the boy was exitable and extroverted, todoroki was quiet and reserved 

they were both stubborn to a fault sometimes and that didn’t bode over well during the few disagreements they had but they brought the best out in each other 

shouto made the kid feel safe and secure, always reminding him that anything he did for him was never burdensome 

Yuuma gave the hero a confidence boost and a chance at another type of love he never knew he wanted 

the first time his son called him dad was when todoroki made the adoption official 

Yuuma shyly asked if it was okay that he called him his father and shouto will not admit to the tears he desperately tried to hide from a teasing midoriya and his siblings (ofc he had them there)

no one knows this but todoroki literally had separation anxiety the first couple of years

his child was just fine being with the babysitter but shouto would spend his work days/nights feeling very tense being away from him 

called/texted the kid all the time, left him encouraging sticky notes in his lunch box, and would hug him for at least 3 min before leaving the house

he’s such a mother hen bye

he’s lucky yuu adores him bc he was lowkey doing a lot LMAO

they have movie nights together and geek over manga like nerds 

yuuma cosplayed as roy mustang once and todoroki has an album of pics from that day alone 

todoroki’s the type to randomly bring his son fruit just because 

yuuma regularly slept in shouto’s bed/futon until around 7th grade

as his son got older, and more popular (w the ladies AND gents hehe) at school, todoroki got a little jealous bc yuuma wanted to spend more time with his friends

he was legit hurt the first time yuu canceled on movie night to go to a sleepover 🥺

todoroki moped over it until midoriya told him to knock it off 💀

it’s a shameful quality of his, but shouto will always lie to get his kid out of the stupid shit he gets himself into only bc yuu plays really funny pranks 

has to keep himself from laughing in front of the principle 

they’re both lowkey mischevious asf 

he’ll scold him later tho so it’s okay, he’s responsible™️

shouto always calls yuu “son”

if he calls him by his full name, he’s either sad or annoyed w him

during family gatherings, yuuma is the star of the show bc of his superb cooking skills

he and fuyumi get along great

and surprisingly enough, bakugo adores the kid even though the same can’t be said for todoroki himself 

yuuma wants to open a restaurant and he’s a little afraid of his father’s reaction

little does he know, shouto is ready to hand over his black card at moment’s notice purrr✨

he’s a really supportive father and he has his hiccups, but todo tries his very best and his son makes him impossibly proud every day 

oh and did i mention they wear matching sweaters?

midoriya was born and bred to be a father

midoriya has two girls that are about a year apart

due to the immense pressure of being with the #1 hero and an unwillingness to be a mother, his then girlfriend at the time suddenly left him, signing over all maternal rights to the hero 

it just crushed izuku 

he spent weeks trying to look for her and to make it work 

he wanted his girls to have a two-parent household, but she went radio silent 

it was a difficult adjustment 

but deku is the most ambitious and resiliant person on the planet so he was devoted to giving them the best lif he could 

and ofc he had the support of all his friends and his mother 

but there were a lot of ups and downs

mostly downs in the first year being a single parent

at the time, his youngest wasn’t even one whiles eldest was almost two 

and izuku worked a lot 

being #1 meant he was the country’s go-to whenever something happened and he missed a lot of stuff he’d never get to redo 

like his youngest, Maia’s, first word which was “bunny”

and the first time his oldest, Naomi, went to the bathroom by herself 

and izuku will never forget the day he came to pick his kids up after being on a week long international mission

when he reached out for them, they looked at him as if they didn’t know who he was 

izuku spent the entire night crying in inko’s arms 

the next morning, he only had to deliver some paperwork, but everyone noticed the usually chipper hero’s sour mood and stayed clear from his path

even bakugo and todoroki felt chills when izuku passed by 

it was tough, but deku was determined 

he started taking up night shifts so he could be there for his girls during the day

he’d pick them up from inko’s right after work and spend the day playing with them 

izuku stayed up on a dangerous amount of caffeine and will power

there were days he literally passed out from exhaustion, but it was worth it to see them through their milestones 

when Naomi went to kindergarten, he couldn’t stop buzzing around w excitement

he just adored listening her ramble on about what she learned and that persisted on even as she grew

like, she’s a genius

she was his doppleganger in intellect and resilience

she’s def a daddy’s girl and although she’s not as empathetic as her father, they’re very close 

naomi is an excellent older sister and stepped up early when izuku couldn’t always be there 

maia is izuku’s match in personality

she’s very sweet, a bit more extroverted, and compassionate

but pls don’t get it twisted, that girl gives the fam a run for their money

he’s the type to obnoxiously kiss them on their cheeks before school

they’ll take turns doing each other’s hair

he calls them his angels 🥺

i see him getting a tattoo of their names on his arm or something

they’re all cry babies so when they get into arguments, it doesnt last long

both girls went to UA to be heroes and izuku’s heart just soars with pride every day 

he also cried an obnoxious amount and for some odd reason, kept popping up for “demonstrative purposes”

they had to have a family talk so they could tell him to stop babying them in the kindest way possible 

and by that i mean, naomi said it bluntly and maia did damage control lmao

overall, izuku loves those girls more than life and they love him just the same 

raising them was a rollercoaster, but he’d do it all over again in a heartbeat

Sero Hanta:

another one that just looks like he’d be an amazing father

sero is one of the few that was actually looking to adopt a kid

he came from a large family and desired connection with a family of his own

he tried a for a while, but it never seemed to happen

until he came about a small girl he met on the off chance of passing by her hospital room when he was getting a quick check up

she was one of the children they saved on a mission and when he saw her curled up on the hospital bed that seemed to swallow her whole, his feet moved on their own

the girl, Keiko, was left injured and an orphan, yet despite her circumstances, she was just a joy to be around 

sero spent the rest of visiting time with her and just knew she was it for him

she was very sick so he’d spend his breaks visiting her at the hospital 

keiko was a huge cellophane fan and it just melted his heart 🥺

she’d have a huge smile on her face, unabashedly showing off her missing front tooth, every time he walked in

they’d spend hours just drawing or talking about their day

when sero shyly brought up the possibility of adopting her, keiko could barely contain herself 

she drew him one of her best pieces as a thank you and sero still has it hanging on his mirror to this day ❤️

keiko’s actually quite the artist so there’s many more up there to keep it company 

the adjustment period went smoother than anticipated

the girl had her moments and hanta was getting used to being a 24/7 parent, but it was like they quickly acted as if they had been blood related their entire lives

they are ride or dies for each other LMAO

they don’t argue

like at all

the worst they ever got was when keiko rushed to help her father on the job when she happened to see him get hurt 

sero yelled at her in panic 

it was so startling that they avoided each other for the time being

but a few hours later, sero went and apologized 

and that was that

keiko had frequent nightmares and sero would sacrfice copious hours of sleep so that he could turn on the projecter and give her a run down about every star in the “sky” before she falls asleep 

he actually bought and named a star after her for her first bday with him

sero pats her head a lot and she hates it

he calls her squirt, sport, kid, and princess if they’re having a soft moment

they have an unholy amount of matching onsies 

the kid was already getting to the stage where she wanted to be independent, but she would let her father pick out her outfits sometimes

only bc he put a lot of effort into doing it 

aka, she caught him crying over cute pintrest pics bc he’s a simp

okay but sero really, isn’t much of a crier, but he’s sentimental asf

every milestone is recorded

every school night, he’s there (she was a good kid, so he all but gloats w pride after every visit w the teachers)

any drawing she makes, he has 

he’ll do anything to be there for his daughter so it really crushed him when he couldn’t go to her high school’s father daughter dance 

sero had a mission he couldnt get out of and he was sorely pissed off about it 

keiko assured her father that it was okay and that it was corny anyways

but he could hear the disappointment in her voice 

he made kirishima go with her anyways bc he didnt want her to miss out on the experience 

and you bet your ass that when she came back home, sero was there in a tux with the living room set up to make it up to her 

it is just as cheesy as you think it is, but they’re cute so who cares 

also the way they both can dance is crazyyyyyy

rhythm isn’t even the word

if there was a competition for best father-daughter dance duo, they would win every time! and i stand by that!

they have at least one viral tiktok dance they did together

sero’s not the emotional type, but the first time keiko had a boyfriend he def made a threat or two to him 

it was actually so scary

as for the rest of it, it was pretty much exactly what i expected i knew pretty much everything going in so he kinda spent most of the appointment complaining about red lining, which i dont mind like its good to know doctors are frustrated by it too. nearly exactly like the initial appointment i had with the gp except he spent a bit of extra time asking about my ethnicity bc its a bit funny in the ethnicity box i tend to just write vietnamese but bc i have an american accent its like oh thats not the full story is it

and no im actually only a quarter vietnamese, the rest is norwegian all of it is contained in america, and here i am in australia

as for top surgery, he was like the weights gonna be an issue. not bc it cant be done but bc none of the surgeons in this area are willing to do it if youre too overweight, apparently theres one on the gold coast that will. but im not annoyed at that part of the conversation bc he seemed to understand that the reason i might be overweight is bc i dont get enough exercise, and the reason i dont get enough exercise is nearly entirely because of dysphoria. so he said hes hopeful that T will help motivate me to get that workout routine down. it sounds very compelling so i hope thats what happens too.

and yeah like i said in the first part im doing gel, both doctors were very like "the butt shot fucking hurts you dont wanna do that" the first one was like gel is kinda weaksauce but this one was like no its goated actually just dont let your pets lick it or theyll die

and i think for me it was more a case of id rather be able to do it myself than have to go in and have someone do it for me regardless of how much more infrequent it is. i know thigh injections are also a thing, maybe well switch to that eventually idk. one selling point for me was that with the gel its a lot easier to change your mind and you can switch to the other methods at basically any time

so yeah i got the little script on orins phone and the dr was like id understand if you wanted to frame it bc thats your first ever T script after waiting to get it for so long and tbh i still havent really processed it

me and orin decided were gonna have a little celebration and have some drinks and stuff but idk, feels weird to be excited, doesnt really feel like anything quite yet

partly bc im fucking exhausted, like i said we did blood tests this morning at like 10 pm and then we had to fuck around until 2pm and the shopping centre was hot and i wore the worst underwear possible and my leg bones decided to eat shit and now ive got little blood blisters all over my ass and thighs

so yeah, big day

so uh im back from the doctor and i uh, i got my first T prescription today

we were talking about what kind i wanted to do and he sold me on the gel and then he wrote it up and was like oh yeah maybe dont start today because we need to check your levels and i was like yeah i literally just did a blood test today bc i figured id do it while i was out anyway

so probably still waiting til the 2nd to actually start bc thats when my OTHER doctor appointment is (where he planned to probably give me my first script) esp bc doctor i saw today apparently didnt get access to the results

so like im not starting immediately but... I GOT IT???????
