we actually finished a lot of post-hw content yesterday, lemme try to summarize (things might be not in order because i am just going off memory)-

- KRILE IS SUPER CUTE (also idk why her name was localized as krile while in japanese they call her kururu (i am not gonna google this tho, dont want spoilers) the jp name makes sense lore-wise because i think that’s how lalafell naming convention works)

- i deeply enjoy the alphinaud teasing. it’s very funny.

- THANCRED!!! ngl i love his new look though tbf i also thought he had aged.

- I ACTUALLY GASPED OUT LOUD WHEN WE SEE THE WARRIOR(S?) OF DARKNESS

- my friend and i were in vc and we kept going omg omg it’s themmmmm, it’s us!!!!

- oh also one of the summoner quests was called “i could have tranced all night”, i kept reading it as “i could have THANCRED all night” and was like yeah sure :3c

- AYMERIC WHY DID YOU WALK AROUND WITHOUT A GUARD!! i knew he wouldn’t die, but for a moment i did get really worried if they were gonna off him :<

- I am glad tho that daddy fortemps or artoirel didnt get in the way and die u_u

- EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO THE ISHGARD THEME AT NIGHT OR THE DRAGONSONG MUSIC I GROW INCREDIBLY SAD (idk how will i get over both of them)

- WE GET A HAURCHIE MINION!!! and the knight of house fortemps title (with a shield that totally didnt make me emotional)!

- i like that the moment i summoned the minion, my friend and i simultaneously /pet it, like we didnt plan for it. we just did immediately. we just love him so much ;;A;;

- ALSO WHOA THE WHOLE SCENE WITH VIDOLFNIR SAVING THE GIRL WAS AWESOME

- I have to say tho the interaction was sweeter in japanese because the girl calls her shiroi dragon-san and when she thanks the dragon, vidolfnir tells her that her lifespan is short so she should treasure her life (or something to that extent) while in english she simply says youre welcome

- ALSO OMG AYMERIC INVITES YOU FOR A DRINK. idk how he sounds in english but i def felt like he was a bit flustered in japanese.

- man will we ever learn to not be suspicious of things, especially when we were told tensions are running high just before the peace meet at falcon’s nest?

- every time a random unnamed npc has a voiced scene, it feels like shit is about to go down (and it did).

- EMMANELLAIN NO!!! tbh i feel really bad for him. he’s never really been given responsibilities or reprimanded for crossing lines, he’s been coddled and ofc you cannot expect him to make good judgements under pressure. i felt like whatever happened next was pretty good. felt real. poor honoroit tho.

- MAYBE I READ IT WRONG BUT THANCRED IMPLIES THAT AYMERIC IS IN LOVE WITH YOU??? i need to go back and se this (unvoiced) line again.

- i am finally weaver level 47 (i think), i have unlocked some cool recipes but they probably require some crazy-ass ingredients smh.

well, that’s all i remember from yesterday. my sister is playing through hw now, so i ask her to guide me where haurchefant is standing in her game and i emote /hug and  /blowkiss at him (or rather his ghost, since he isnt there for me), things i didnt do enough when he was around (which i deeply regret).

*flashbacks to the time in year 8 where me and my bsf i had a huge crush on accidentally kissed brown haired me. it was an accident but i hold that moment very close to my heart. i think we almost kissed again but i panicked and nose exhaled on her face. i could be imagining that tho. idk i just remember our faces were very close and then she pulled her head away after i exhaled in her face😭tbh i dont even remember if we were on her floor or on a chair or whatever. i remember she also kept kissing my forehead and cheek. she used to do it quite a lot tbf. she stopped eventually tho🙁. i dont even like her anymore. i just miss how she made me feel. kissing ur friends cheeks/foreheads is 100% casual but i feel as tho theres was SOME sort of tension perchance??? idk man😞 i despise doing casual things with friends u have crushes on, like we went on a school trip to southend this year and she let me sleep on her shoulder while we held hands. that is incredibly platonic nd casual, literally all the girls in my class were doing it, but i think i regained feelings for her in that very moment. another time we slow danced to a careless whisper. it was in a kind of jokey way but the ‘we could’ve been so good together’ lyric just rattles around in my brain. anyways do u lot remember the scene from that gl japanese movie called blue where the girl held the other girls hand and just started running? she done that to me once cuz i was sad☹️ we had known eachother for like a month + it was raining but omfg those first 6 months of friendship was so £2&3&/&:&&;😢😢😢. on the birthday where i first knew her, she invited me round and she done my hair while we listened to music !!! i still have the star hairclip she used somewhere (+ a hairbow from anther time!) , and i now cant listen to honey - halsey (literally her song) or training wheels - felony martinez (🤢) without thinking of her. i think she admitted she used to like me though.. idk we were having a sleepover and i tried so hard to tell her that i also used to like her but i literally just froze and didnt say another word for the rest of the night😭 she just randomly told me when were making bracelets? then we watched the whole season 3 of this country while i internally combusted? she was so bored of my silence but idec cuz the next morning we finished the episode of this country and she fell back asleep and omfg the sun fell on her so perfectly, she genuinely looked like a goddess. i have trouble remembering stuff photographically but i remember everything about her in that moment. before that i was STILL processing everything, and when im nervous i tend to bite the skin around my nails, but because i was near someone i didnt want to put my fingers in my mouth so i js picked it with my fingernail, and she held my hand to stop me from picking it⁉️. ever since then tho ive been terrified of sleepovers (always have tho tbf.) but it was even worse cuz we went bowling with some friends before that, and i was sad cuz she was all over the girl who we both hated and clearly found her more funnier/interesting than me😞😞 the sleepover mightve gone better if there was no bowling, cuz my social battery was completely depleted + i was kinda struggling at the time and when im sad i find it impossible to speak😭 things were genuinely casual tho, like im not even oblivious or in denial or anything, im wearing rose tinted glasses and making things sound so much more romantic then they actually were, ntm we were only 12-13😭 im still friends w her now and omg shes slowly destroying me piece by piece but im too far in at this point😞✊*

bob vylan - my favourite hardcore band rn. i love their name, i love their music, i love their whole vibe, and if youre black i doubly recommend them

jer - this is a tiktok mutual who runs a ska project called skatune network! they dont have a full album out (yet!!) but im obsessed with r/edgelord

catbite - this is a band patrick was recommended on the in defense of ska podcast, but i actually heard about them through jer.

we are the union - jers in this band! recently gave them a listen (finally) and i love what ive heard! these are my only ska recs i think

destroy boys - i found them on bandcamp and i think they bop hard

the regrettes - a little less hardcore, but still a fave! a living human girl is a really great song

nova twins - love their stuff so far, need to give their album a listen from cover to cover but i LOVE play fair

otoboke beaver - a japanese punk all girl band, i love their shit, though i havent listened recently

amyl and the sniffers - what a NAME. they really feel like a classic punk band but theyre from this past decade.

ive been reminding myself to post this for about a week now, but i dont like the fact that born born dance by dokonjofinger sounds A LOT like monster dance by keytalk. its not a case of the melodies being the same or anything, its like... the composition? they way the instrumentals are arranged, the background chorus shouts in born born dance (which are NOT exactly a dokon staple imo, from what i can tell theyre more of a wooaaaaaooaaaa type not a oh! oh! oh! type) the progression of the whole song basically. while being different it feels like. idk. two chefs in a chef program making their version of the same dish. except monster dance is rather old by now (also better tbf. アルバラーバ　アルバラーバ )

i cant really explain it because im not exactly music savy but its just the vibe i get that its wrong because it feels like subtle plagiarism even though its most likely not.

also because i put monster dance in my “i want lloromannic in sb69″ playlist BEFORE i properly listened to born born dance so i feel cheated.

(2/6) onto my playlist review: first of all thank you 😊 and no i'm very attached to being called fiancee 🙈 i'm in the mood to discuss music with you in detail again so have fun 😅 (this got long my apologies) maybe - these lyrics hurt my feelings. i feel called out but the song is very beautiful and lewis capaldi's voice is so so niice. i found a girl - i vibe with it a lot though i'm a bit wary about the friendzone-y vibe of the lyrics but it's catchy as fuck.

(4/6) everyday life - again love the lyrics sooo much. look what god gave her - what a bop. this song makes me like ridiculously happy? also i don't get the hate country music gets like i personally don't listen to it but that's only bc i'm not really exposed to it. lonely girl - also a bop. gotta love a kind of aggressive break up vibe. edge of tonight - i cannot put my love for this song into words. might just be my favourite of future hearts (okay no not favourite but top 3 bc i can't choose)

(5/6) and bc i love your recs i listened to the songs from the tags as well: lucy - a vibe. did not expect to like it when it started but turns out i like it a lot actually. living on love - only one i don't really vibe with it's a bit too much for me, sorry ajr (great lyrical content as usual though) i believe you - i can't really deal with this song. i love that it exists but i couldn't listen to it all the way through once i paid attention to the lyrics.
