We end with the pastry sour, a style that is rocketing in popularity over the past few years. And it’s fitting that Tampa Bay Brewing is part of this particular collaboration, as they have become one of the leading forces in Florida craft beer when it comes to pastry and fruit-laden sours.

#Repost • @colvinology Cloudy Donkey, a double dry hopped hazy pale ale from Tampa Bay Brewing Co (@tbbco) and the Master Grade P Bandai ORX-013 Gundam Mk V . Tropical Fruits on the nose, adding an almost piña colada- like aroma to the traditional orange/ tangerine notes. I'm mostly getting melon, pineapple, and coconut here, though there's also a light grassiness towards the back. The sip is light and smooth, with bright fruit flavors drifting lazily along the palette, bringing back that bouquet of tropical fruit from the nose. It has tons of flavor, next to no bitterness, and the mellow presentation combined with a relatively clean finish make this an incredibly easy drinking brew. This is possibly one of the most chuggable beers I've had in a while, and perfect for a lazy Wednesday evening. If I was the kind of person who goes on boats or rivers, I would probably love to slam a couple of these in the summer sun...but mainly I hate nature, so I'll just enjoy this one on the patio 😂.  . Honestly the Mk V is still an incredibly impressive kit. It's massive and bulky while still being articulable, which puts it above the other Sentinel Master Grades, which are all some level of "total brick." Literally the only downside is that this was P Bandai for some absurd reason, so it's gonna be hard for people to actually get a hold of. It's BS, honestly. TAMPA BAY BREWING COMPANY ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH RENOWNED HOGSBREATH SALOONS OF KEY WEST AND DESTIN, FL.

Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC), one of the region’s oldest independently owned and operated craft breweries announced a collaboration today with the renowned Hogsbreath Saloons of Key West and Destin fame. Through the partnership, TBBC will produce two exclusive beers “Hair of the Hog” and “Hogsbreath Ale” that will be available at both saloons. 

“When you think about Florida, the Florida lifestyle, and iconic destinations, Hogsbreath is certainly at the top of everyone’s list,” stated David Doble, managing partner of TBBC. “It’s out of character for us to produce beer for anyone other than ourselves, but when a bad a** organization and true Florida original like Hogsbreath is excited to collaborate, there’s no answer other than hell yes!”

The new beers build upon TBBC’s award winning line up of Florida inspired beers such as Reef Donkey APA, Old Elephant Foot IPA, Last Days of Summer, Florida Tart, and Gourds Gone Wild. “Hair of the Hog” is a refreshing Belgian Style White Ale, unfiltered with coriander and orange zest. “Hogsbreath Ale” is a sessionable golden ale, with a citrus aroma, low hop bitterness, and is just clean, crisp, and refreshing. Both were brewed with the Florida Keys and Panhandle’s hot and humid environment in mind. 

“Our mantra is brewing beers that we love to drink. These two ales are perfect examples, easy drinking and refreshing. We’re excited to get these beers in the hands of Hogsbreath’s loyal patrons next Thursday, just in time for Key West Brewfest,” added Doble.

Tampa Bay Brewing Company is one of Florida’s first & premier Craft Breweries. TBBC opened at the tail end of the last “Micro-Brew” Boom. Our philosophy then and now is simple: Brew beer we love to drink! 

Thank goodness there were plenty of like-minded people around to support our endeavor. Today, TBBC thrives within the incredible brewing community of Tampa, Florida which was once just a two brewery town…we were lonely back then! We currently operate an Ybor Brewpub and a Production Brewery in the northern part of Tampa.
