We think of how we used to talk in the pre-pandemic world, going on about the importance of work and how the world was spinning so fast. On the Bridge, we can solve nothing, we can save no one, but we can post something positive to read or listen to. We now understand the time between us posting this video and you listening to it, things can fall apart. Today is what we've got, this quiet night, in which finally there is time to read again and listen to music that is good for our souls. It turns out that this community of people coming together to help one another stay in the race and keep fighting is the same family we needed in the good old days, and the family we need in the hard times, and it's the family we'll want to be there when this whole thing is over. It's fitting how Brother Everett, Sister Kendra, and Brother Taurean are singing to remind us of the importance of family: "You're my brother, you're my sister. Together we will work until He comes and no foe can defeat us." The Bridge crew is thanking our technical assistance tonight. Brother Ron Canby--hat, tip. We have a crew of creatives---writers, musicians, graphic art specialists, singers, great speakers---but we aren't exactly known for . . . technical prowess. Trying to get everyone's various file formats to play nice with all the media platforms, aside from a few hilarious moments, has been challenging (hand us some coffee). Just ask if you need a good laugh at our expense, we'll share some stories. We appreciate Brother Christopher Meinhardt for coming to our rescue at all hours of the night (haha) converting files. We thank Brother Ron Canby for too many things to list, but mostly understanding us every time we panic-call him letting him know the internet is broken, please help. He's on speed dial and listed under our favorites in email, and we would not be enjoying these encouraging videos of our amazing singers and speakers without him. Share this with a friend who knows, through it all . . . we will stand Enjoy the weekend, and our best to all of you! #IfYouBelieveInJesus #YouBelongWithMe #TogetherWeWillWorkUntilHeComes

BEN Simmons had a triple-double in three quarters, Ersan Ilyasova scored 21 points and the Philadelphia 76ers won their ninth straight game with a 101-91 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday (AEDT).
With 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, Simmons has five triple-doubles in his last 10 games and 11 overall. The Rookie of the Year candidate did not play after leaving with 3:37 left in the third, giving Philadelphia the kind of performance it needed one game after All-Star centre Joel Embiid suffered an orbital eye fracture and a concussion.

Ben Simmons is only the 14th NBA player since 1983-84 with a triple double in 27 or fewer minutes.

Philadelphia jumped out to an 11-point lead twice in the second quarter. The Hawks pulled within three in the first minute of the third, but the Sixers soon put away the game with a 39-15 run that made it 86-59 entering the fourth.
Damion Lee finished with a career-high 20 points and Taurean Prince and Isaiah Taylor each added 12 for Atlanta, the NBA’s second-worst team.
The Sixers matched the club’s longest winning streak since it had nine straight victories in 2003
JJ Redick scored 11 of his 19 points in the third quarter as Philadelphia did as it pleased with the undermanned Hawks, who learned before the game that scoring and assists leader Dennis Schroder will miss the rest of the season.
Ilyasova had 11 points in the first. Amir Johnson had 11 rebounds in 17 minutes.

JAMES BREAKS MJ’S LONGTIME RECORD
LeBron James accepted the game ball and raised it high over his head for everyone to see — the perfect pose.
With the crowd standing and roaring after seeing history, James took a moment to soak in the adoration before hurrying back to work.
Michael Jordan would have done the same thing.
James scored in double digits in his 867th straight game, breaking the record he shared with his boyhood idol Jordan, and the Cavaliers rallied to beat the Hornets 107-102 on Friday night to avoid slipping in the standings.
James finished with 27 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds, adding another stellar performance to his MVP-worthy 15th NBA season.
This game, however, won’t be remembered for that stat line or James taking over in crunch time.
This was the night James caught — and passed — a player he has spent his career chasing.
“That’s a good moment, a special moment not only for myself but for my family and for so many kids that look up to me for inspiration to know that you can actually go out there and do it and know where I’ve come from,” James said.
“You know, brought up 30 minutes south of here and the statistics is always stacked up against you, and for me to be in this position today, being able to accomplish something that a lot of people thought would not happen again or be able to break a record like that.
“It means a lot for me and it means more to the youth that kind of needs hope.”

Jordan Clarkson added 23 points and Tristan Thompson had 14 rebounds in 21 minutes for the Cavs, who have won seven of eight. A loss would have dropped the three-time defending Eastern Conference champions from third to fifth with only a handful of games left in the regular season.
Jrue Holiday scored 25 and Nikola Mirotic 20 for New Orleans, which slipped to eighth in the Western Conference. Pelicans star Anthony Davis scored just 16 — 12 below his average — on 6-of-19 shooting as he was harassed by Thompson and Larry Nance Jr.
James surpassed Jordan’s mark midway through the first quarter in fitting fashion, delivering a two-handed dunk that Mirotic and Pelicans forward Solomon Hill didn’t dare try to stop.
During a stoppage in play, James came over and took the game ball, which he plans to add to his overloaded trophy case at home. He then saluted the crowd, which included pop superstar Justin Timberlake.
Jordan’s mark had stood since 2001, and there’s no telling how long James can extend his streak before ending a career with no apparent finish line in sight.
“That number is going to keep going,” Thompson said. “He can do it ’til he’s tired of it. It’s going to be on him.”
As he has done countless times before, James took over when it mattered most.
The Cavs built a 95-88 lead on the strength of three 3-pointers in a span of 1:33 in the fourth. Holiday kept New Orleans close before James made two free throws and three jumpers, the final a fadeaway with 1:59 left.
“LeBron just took the game over and made shots that we would like to see him shoot,” Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said. “We tried to keep him from driving to the basket, but he made three tough shots. That’s kind of who he is.”
