my persona 5 tatica theory is that it’s going to be a successor to the Q/Q2 games (I mean, just look at that artstyle). given lavenza’s presence, I think it’s gonna be set post-canon (but possibly pre-strikers) following the vanilla ending. however, given the general premise of the Q games is that various persona users from different timelines are gathered in one place, I would not be at all surprised if a third-semester era sumire/akechi are also summoned to the mysterious palace. 

so, suddenly, an alive akechi and some random red-head who the phantom thieves have never met before suddenly stumble across the vanilla thieves, claiming that they work together, and are actually members of the phantom thieves themselves. cue an incredible amount of confusion and an awful lot of hijinks. sophia and zenkichi might appear as well, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re dlc-zoned.
