The Taurus-Hierophant Connection: 🌟 Why and how is the Hierophant ruled by Taurus? We are present, we are well rooted, and every movement of our wonderful bodies is infused with the spirit flowing through us. did my first ever spread/question session with my tarot deck !!! i did a spread of getting to know the deck 🥰 

the energy is so beautiful, sometimes two cards came out for one question hence why there’s more than one. if you’re curious, the questions i asked & cards i got in response were:

1. what is your most important characteristic/tell me about yourself (king of pentacles + the hanged man)

2. what are your strengths as a deck (the high priestess)

3. what are your limits as a deck/any weaknesses (strength + king of cups - i used king of cups to clarify, initially only the strength card came out)

4. what are you here to teach me (5 of pentacles + 4 of swords; which was to clarify the 5 of pentacles)

5. what is your favourite type of reading to do (10 of cups + ace of cups)

6. what is the potential outcome of our relationship, as in the deck and i (knight of cups)

i also asked the deck’s permission to post this spread :’’’) and got a positive response. this was soooo fun idec who judges me for loving tarot or how nerdy i sound but using it feels SO good! i’m going to do a similar spread for my oracle cards next, but i’m going to start by doing this chakra spread idea that actually came with the deck + the author recommends doing 🥺✨ still can’t get over how aesthetically beautiful these cards are & how amazing their energy is<3

It smelled awfully moldy but after putting it in a plastic bag with some drops of rosewood oil for a few days it smells divine .. and i am ready to play with it. I notice that the longer i read the more i prefer non-scenic pips or semi -illustrated. Especially for larger spreads. Its freeing and it shows the dominating energy of the majors much better. Or the dominating influences of the suits.

This August I gained so much more love for and understanding of the eight of cups. ⠀ ⠀ Being a cup card it's connected to feelings, relationship, healing, all the deep water stuff. Traditionally it's often read as a card about change, possibly loss and walking away from something that isn't working. ⠀ ⠀ But if you think more about the greater picture than the individual situation it's interesting to consider that for many of us it's kind of woven into the fabric of our lives. ⠀ ⠀ As queers we walk away from heteronormativity every day.
