Entry #4 - Bonding

Did some readings to myself today! Even though I was there for more than an hour, it felt like nothing at all. I could even tell the meaning of some cards without looking it up in my book!

At first, things didn't make much sense and I was confused about what it was trying to tell me, but after I found out how to properly prepare my deck for a reading, everything rolled out smoothly and I had a long, amazing last reading!

I feel so much closer to my deck now. It feels like we are finally working together and I'm so happy we had this quality time!

Okay, did most of my readings I want to do, except P1 harmony and Stray Kids. I am done for the day. The ones I did will be posted tonight and tomorrow morning. I am more pulled to do Stray Kids, have been pulled to do them for a while, and after the last reading with them being so chatty. I see why, they may want to talk lol Sounds weird, but sometimes I am pulled to do some groups more than others and I usually follow that. Anyway, probably just doing them tomorrow. I don't want to do as much tomorrow. P1harmony will go into next week's probably.

Before meeting Mickey, Ian had no idea that the moon had eight phases. Hell, he didn’t even notice the tattoo on their first night together because some fuckin’ sap liked it face to face, but after lunch with Mandy, Ian had bent Mickey over the arm of his own goddamn couch, and there they were, one right after the other— New Waxing crescent First quarter Waxing gibbous Full Waning gibbous Last quarter Waning crescent —lining Mickey’s spine. Each carrying a different shade, a different energy, and a different way to flow. Ian was fascinated.  Turned the fuck on.  And oddly validated.  He’d never given it much thought before, but after a few meditations on the subject, Ian couldn’t help but wonder: If the moon was in constant flux, constant change; then, couldn’t it stand to reason that maybe his state of mind, his pace, his moods, weren’t so odd after all?  an exception to the rule | ch. 9: opening up in phases

we have the obsessed ones in this pile, but not in a bad way, they will see you as the sky, the sun, the moon, the stars in their sky, they are very romantic and devoted to you, it reminds me of the song Religion by Lana del Rey, the moon can be important here, I don't know why, maybe they would ask the moon for giving somebody like you, and they got! they will want kiss your skin under the moonlight, as mentioned, they see you almost as a religion, and they are still very proud of you, that you may be younger than them or somehow have this more youthful air than them, and you will achieve so many things and they will be happy for you, it also reminds me of those old couples in love that we saw in funny cartoons.

as the queen of their lives, regardless of gender, it is as if you rule their lives, some may idealize you too much in some way and put you on a pedestal. you are in the same moment in life, but you have different personalities and ways of dealing with things, and they like that, it is as if the difference that you have from each other made them more passionate and enchanted, sometimes, for the most part, differences drive people apart, but in this relationship it will only add up.

Entry #3 — It's odd

I saw the Nine of Spades today. Not like in a reading, but I saw it in an image my boyfriend sent me, and it was the first time.

See, words are... Hard. That card makes me deeply disturbed, like I'm seeing the worst state a human can be in their life. It makes me want to cry, in a way. It makes me kinda sick, and it makes my throat tighten. I have no clue why I had such a visceral reaction to a simple illustration, but I think the fact that it lacks text, compared to the ones I'm used to, makes it feel more... Lonely. Empty. It feels like all the cards have some kind of song attached to it, but that one sounds like static.

I can't remember what it means, but I think it was something about depression and hopelessness. Something about that card resonates with something inside of me and that makes me unsettled. I'm distressed by even thinking about it.

I don't know. I felt like it was worth sharing. I hope I never have to deal with that card, it scares me.
