i just watched Kill and oh my god that movie is amazing. i don't think I've ever felt this good after watching an action movie. it's like I needed that much gore. i don't want to give out spoilers but it is a must watch if you can handle seeing a lot of blood.

Kill 4K UHD Review: Under Siege 2 Too
Kill wouldn’t have to claim to be the goriest Indian movie ever made to gain my interest. It’s an action movie on a train in a classic Die Hard scenario of one against dozens. Perhaps it stands out against PG-13 Hollywood action movies and harkens back to the ‘80s R-rated fare. Kill begins as a romance as lovers Amrit (Lakshya) and Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) plan to escape her arranged marriage.…

What happens when u do blood, gore, creativity, acting and cinematography right?
Tumblr media
You get this masterpiece !!!!!
No wonder the John wick makers loved it and bought the remakes rights to it. According to the John wick director, "Kill is one of the most violent, wild and creative movies, I've seen recently".

Kill. (2023) Movie Review.
An incredibly reductive opinion would tell you that the deserved crossover success of the absolutely bonkers Oscar-winning Tollywood blockbuster RRR (RIP Ray Stevenson)  has opened up the floodgates for more varieties within Indian cinema to gain crossover traction outside their home country. In reality, Bollywood and its associated subgenres have always had a foothold in Western markets…

[Bilingual post] Podcast Ep.19 How Indian Cinema Gets Characters Right
Tumblr media
Hello, this is Nisreen! Welcome to the 19th episode of my podcast!
The other day, I watched a thrilling Indian Hindi-language film called ‘Kill.’  The film, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, was released in 2023. Watching such a gripping film for the first time in a while reminded me why contemporary Indian cinema holds a special place in my heart. I will list my three favourite characteristics of contemporary Indian cinema using ‘Kill’ as an example. There won’t be any spoilers.
Please find the audio file and full script below.

Kill (2024) Movie Review
Kill lives up to its title, and then some. In many regards, the hyperviolent “vengeance is a dish best served ice cold” action film sells itself short by not calling itself Overkill. This said, it takes a while to get to this level of breathless brutality. With great intentionality, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s film takes 45 minutes or so to establish a Continue reading Kill (2024) Movie Review

Kill Review: The Best Action Movie of the Year, (Bloody) Hands Down
Kill lives up to its title and then some, delivering a practically relentless spectacle of brutal, bloody, bone-crunching violence. I breathed a sigh of relief when the credits rolled and my heart rate was allowed to go back down to normal. Make no mistake, Kill is a visceral, emotionally draining watch that’s a real treat for action fans but not for the faint of heart. Writer-director Nikhil…
