If Luffy had Barto and his crew as a fanboy, then Sanji had these three. We know now that Law is a fan of ninja and Sora the warrior sea.

But I've thought these two (Drake & Hawkins) are from north blue as well. Literally they ignored the half naked women all around them and just focused themselves on idolizing stealth black.

But damn, my brotha Hawkins you are one lucky man seeing Nami naked like that.

Wahahahaha, I was wondering why Chopper didn't correct them when they were saying "Tanuki-san, Tanuki-sama, Tanuki-kun etc". I think he's waiting for this moment.

Soooo, if Robin is Dragon's daughter and she is also Chopper's honorary mother, then that can only mean Chopper is Dragon's grandson. And unlike everyone else, he didn't mistake Chopper for a tanuki. He mistook Chopper for a human child wearing a reindeer costume.

He doesn’t hold it against the kid if he is a child in a reindeer costume. Nika knows that the animal motifs run strong in this dysfunctional family.

Until he sees monster point and realizes this is a literal reindeer who ate a variant of the human human fruit.

Which… if he had a beri for each time a member of his family ate a human human fruit, he would have two beris, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

He loves his cryptid reindeer grandson either way.

One of my other strongest hopes for future seasons of the live-action "One Piece" is (and I am aware that this is hugely subjective, feel free to disagree) that I kind of hope Chopper is actually a youngish and short actor in make-up (with CGI touchups? whatever the fishmen had going on) rather than a fully CGI creature.

I mean, I won't mind if Chopper is a CGI creature. I thought that the special effects in OPLA were overall pretty good. The News Coo was very cute. The Sea King was fun. But most of the time, the show was real people interacting with other real people, and I thought that this atmosphere was hugely beneficial to this adaptation. I think that they'll probably do a pretty good job if Chopper is a mostly CGI creature, it's definitely doable, but I also think having a much more expressive and reactive speaking character around constantly and casually is much more difficult (and expensive) than a silent, blank-faced bird present for a few minutes, and I would rather have more Chopper than less Chopper if redesigning him to be more humanoid would give us that. (He can be fully CGI during transformations, obviously.) I really like seeing these actors inhabit these characters! I've seen some really cool Chopper cosplays.

My other argument towards making Chopper more of a human in reindeer make-up is that, while I think adorable babyish Chopper is extremely cute and the humor of him being so small and cute most of the time (while being a very talented doctor and able to transform into more beastly forms) is funny, I would... also like to see Chopper taken more seriously as a teenager and as a character. I think fandom, and maybe the story itself, has a tendency to give Chopper less attention because he does seem to fit more of a funny mascot appearance. (I also saw a Chopper post-time-skip redesign that made him more a lanky teen, both more like a human and more like a reindeer, and I liked it a lot more than how he apparently became even shorter. And it made him being mistaken for a tanuki even funnier.) I don't think anything truly important about Chopper's character will be ruined if he's allowed to look a little older and be a little taller. He's fifteen years old!

If we end up with Canonical Babyish Chopper, identical to the manga, that'll be fine! But I will think it's a missed opportunity for the live-action show not to explore and present a different side of Chopper's character, to an audience who might take him more seriously as a hero and as a person if he's allowed to appear more like a humanoid reindeer and another teenager / young adult crew member, rather than looking like a gag character. Yes, ideally, we SHOULD all take Chopper seriously even if he looks like a gag character, but I think the reality is that a lot of people don't.

I'm still thinking about what youkai to assign the rest of the crew, so the other Vinsmokes are there to fill the space. Masks and "ninja head protectors" (hitaiate) are in place of the goggles and headphones.

I wonder if I should just make Chopper an actual Tanuki? He gets mad about it all the time in canon, but it's actually kind of fitting in this AU. Aaah, I also want to try designing what "Stealth Black"'s mask would look like now. I need 20 arms to draw everything I have in my head.

Roronoa Zoro x Male! Reader

( Smut but not explicit, fluff, already dating Zoro… ) !!

Luffy has been more annoying about food when talking to Sanji, the crew no longer has enough meat to eat carelessly therefore he has been controlling his urges to devour everything. Usopp hasn’t stopped talking even for a second, telling Chopper stories non-stop. Of course, the small tanuki hasn’t realized they aren’t true anecdotes or that Usopp isn’t a feared pirate among others in the ocean.

On the other hand, Nami has been concentrated on sketching some maps. Cartography was her way of escaping reality. She has been worried because no island seems to be nearby. You’ve tried talking to her but she either doesn’t reply or says some sort of nonsense, all thanks to stress…

Robin had stayed stable, drowning her every thought in books. She was the most stable one out of all, this was no surprise. Robin has always been very clever and calm in this kind of situation where everything gets hard. She has been living in the ocean since she was 8, no wonder why she’s so used to troubles while navigating.

Sanji was trying to prepare a proper meal for Nami, he ended up burning it…Sanji, the best cook, burned a plate for Nami. This was a serious problem, something was very wrong and no one was taking it well.

You had been losing your mind because Roronoa’s thick hands hadn’t been over your skin for a bit too long. Both of you promised to not have any sexual relationships while on the ship, for the sake of everyone else. It’s not like they would ever leave you both alone for long enough to even get hard or excited.

Zoro was training, every waking moment he had a dumbbell in his hands. They were heavy weights, you could tell he was keeping his mind occupied to avoid acting crazy. You could feel his gaze all over you, he thinks he’s slick but he couldn’t be more obvious…He is incredibly desperate for you. Those lustful looks aren’t normal ones, they’re agony screams that indicate he’s pushing down his urges of touching you.

Kissing was off the table, you both knew that if you dared to get a bit too close to him you’d both end up losing control. Everyone in the crew started noticing this strange tension between you two, except Luffy of course…Nico and Nami were the most aware of it.

If looks could kill, Zoro had already fucked you with his. He was constantly inches away from ripping open your clothes, ignoring everyone and just pushing you against the first wall or table he sees. Luckily, he still had some self control within him. Not enough to keep his eyes on the horizon instead of your pants but it’s something, right?

“Yes!” I heard Nami scream with excitement, she seemed alive for the first time in dozens of days.

“An…an island! Right in front of us, it looks like a spring type of island” She said the last part with so much excitement, it brought everyone back to life.

After running to the edge of the second floor and staring in disbelief, you felt a warm breath hitting your neck from behind. You knew exactly who it was just by the pace of the breathing. Zoro.

He chuckled with a devilish smile on his face, pressing your hips against him slightly. “As soon as we get there, follow me.” he said before turning around and walking away.

You were left alone with red cheeks and…an erection. Fortunately, the island wasn’t very far away. After some seconds of staring at Zoro in surprise yet exhilaration, you figured out he had done it on purpose. Was he…teasing you?

You squint your eyes slightly and smile a little, shaking your head in incredulity at how straightforward Zoro can be. A quick yet brazen taste of his touch was enough to have you this needy.

While thinking about this, Nami approached you from behind without making a single sound you could perceive. When you turned around to lie against the wooden balustrade, her presence scared the souls out of your body.

After almost having a heart attack, you took a hand to your chest and sighed in relief at seeing it was your friend. When you were about to ask her something related to the island, you noticed she was looking at the floor.

“Nami? What’s wrong?” You asked, seriously confused about her behavior. Before being able to tap her shoulder, she looked up with a terrifying expression. You felt a shiver go down your spine at how intense her look was…

“I’ll have to rip my eyes out now” Nami said, while staring down at you. You were even more lost, until something clicked and you blushed even harder than before.

“Did you- for how long have you been standing there?” You asked, with a shaky voice and cold sweat dripping down your neck.

Nami only turned around and fixed her hair, not daring to even make eye contact after seeing such an…interesting scene.

“I’ll navigate faster towards the island, please for the love of Gold D. Roger do not let Zoro near you until we arrive” She said, a joking undertone could be heard. Still, you knew it’d be a dreadful mistake to let his erotic whispers get to you right now.

Your pants were baggy enough to hide your small problem down there, thankfully she didn’t notice absolutely anything other than Zoro bearing down your body against his. That…that isn’t better at all.

Nami wasn’t lying when she said she’d be fast, you were leaving the ship in the matter of a few minutes. No one asked her anything, they assumed it was because she also was fed up with being inside the boat.

As soon as you arrived, Zoro got out and you lost him quickly. You were too desperate, already panting in discomfort. You quickly left the ship too and started searching him around the city, after checking every bar around he was nowhere to be found.

After getting brought to the limit, you decided to go into a lonely alley and calm yourself. While unbuttoning your pants, the feeling of a katana’s sheath against your skin made you moan slightly. It was Roronoa, staring down at you while grunting from excitement. He had been waiting for so long, one more second would be the end of him. Roronoa put his sword back in. He slipped his hand down your abdomen into your pants and boxers, keeping the other one around your cheeks. He was forcing you to look at him, not break eye contact while he does it.

An alley wasn’t the best idea, you both were interrupted several times but Zoro kept going. His skin was rough to the touch, his grip was firm and dominant. He looked at you with such a lovely expression, it being mixed with vulgar feelings. The green haired man was head over heels for you, the feeling of touching you, titillating your body, he loved that.

Zoro smashed his lips against yours while keeping his body over yours, trapping you. He was much stronger of course, if he wanted he could pick you up and work out with you on his back. You knew this made your head spin, the strength of a man who also has such an ability of handling swords made you weak on the knees.

You could feel his strong grip around your hips, a smell of alcohol and warm food coming from out of the alley. Maybe you were hungry, craving a drink but, your whole existence was craving him. And Roronoa knew this, as he felt exactly the same.

Running your fingers through his short hair, feeling his warmth surround you. For a second, you looked backward and saw him smiling. Such a pure yet excited smile, he was genuinely happy…happy to have you, right there, right now. You both made eye contact, in that precise moment he decided to squish your hips against his pelvis a bit harder; without a single warning you felt his erection, and fucking hell he was hard.

You were a whining mess, letting occasional moans out of your lips when he used more strength. His constant praising made you feel like you were floating, his skilled fingers touching you were enough to get you distracted from every thought that wasn’t about him.

“Hah…I bet the crew already noticed we were both missing” Roronoa said, being interrupted by his own moans before talking again. “Do you think they know I’m fucking your brains out?”

Those words left his throat moments before feeling your pants being pulled down, before hearing his belt falling down to the ground.

As he thrusted behind you, his snail trail was brushing against your sensitive skin. You couldn’t care less if anyone heard or saw you two, neither could keep it hidden any longer. You didn’t hink the crew would stay in such an unknown island for long enough to have several opportunities to fuck, of course Zoro wasn’t taking the risk of losing such a pleasure. He wanted it now, wherever and in front of anyone.

After both finishing, he chuckled and proceeded to back off while making sure you didn’t fall to your knees. Zoro helped you clean and dress yourself, then he pulled up his pants and took his belt from the dirt floor. He turned around and finished getting fully dressed, both had messy hair and several hickeys around the neck and chest. Roronoa was sweating, he had a satisfied look on his eyes while walking into the nearest bar.

As soon as you entered, the whole crew looked at both of you except Nami. Luffy was, as expected, confused for the marks on your neck. Sanji turned blue, he absolutely didn’t expect such a scene from the most serious people inside the boat. Chopper asked Zoro quickly what had happened and if he needed medical assistance, he laughed it off as Usopp was desperately trying to shut the little deer up. Robin was a bit surprised, she didn’t show it much but Zoro and you noticed a slight change in her eyes.

Roronoa sat down right next to you and ordered several drinks for both of you. As soon as he had his body sitting down, he closed his eyes and began falling asleep on the chair. You started talking to everyone, trying to ignore the fact that you were self conscious about the very noticeable hickeys on your neck’s surface.

Nami finally dared to look at you, still with a bit of disgust yet not in a way it made you feel bad for anything. She squinted her eyes and drank the beer she had in her hands to the bottom. After taking a deep breath, she got up and softly hit the side of your head. In that precise moment, Roronoa cracked a smile of pride and went back to resting with his arm crossed, his shoulder against yours to keep you close…

One Piece Chapter 1099 - Initial Thoughts

And we're back

After a week break it's time to see if One Piece will take the lead in emotionally devastating me for this week, given how other things are leaving me on 3 week breaks of ship-based anxiety, not that you could tell of course I've kept it sooooo well-hidden

Anyways, it's time for more One Piece and so, more Kuma backstory, let's see where we go from here

Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release also

Oden cover this time, Tanukis are giving him a makeover

We pick up where we left off two weeks ago, King Becori has returned and has been burning down the south

Kuma though is fighting through the fire to save people

Becori got the idea from the Goa Kingdom fire, figures

The people though are a lot more resistant to the act than the Goa Nobles were, so Becori orders a few to be killed to silence the mob

Kuma is here and he is fucking pissed

The church is being used as a shelter, as Bonney worries for her dad

Despite Becori's threats, Kuma lays out the entire castle, the One Man Revolution of Sorbet

News travels to Marejois about a new king in Sorbet, as Saturn learns that the people voted Kuma to rule

Kuma though says he's just a figurehead, since a previous king, Bulldog, is actually running the country

A much more adult looking Bonney is running laps in the church though, surprising everyone in how much she looks like Ginny

Seems she somehow ate a Devil Fruit, but also wasn't aware of it, since her aging up was unintentional and she was just trying to up her stamina

As the others try to see how much control Bonney has over the fruit, King Bulldog arrives at the church

Hey it's that old version of Bonney she used in the Reverie, but also Bonney here...

Turns out Queen Dowager Conney was an actual person, explains some things at least in how she made it to the Reverie in that disguise

Kuma yelling at Conney at the back thinking it's Bonney XD

Conney is Bulldog's mother, and Bulldog as Kuma's advisor has come with news

Becori's still about, running a smear campaign on Kuma, thus the moniker of 'The Tyrant'

The propaganda means he's still backed by the World Government, and thus it's only a matter of time until they come back to finish the job

Wanting to protect Sorbet, Kuma leaves it in Bulldog's hands, and goes out to confront Becori again at sea, this also means Bulldog and Conney will take care of Bonney in the meantime

'But I'll be so lonely' welp that's another knife in my riddled heart right now

Alas, Kuma does confront Becori, sitting pretty on a Navy ship and accusing Kuma of usurping him and being a corrupt dictator

Kuma sunk the armada, which got him a bounty (Carrot meanwhile sinks a bunch of Yonko ships and doesn't even get one bounty...yes I'm still sore about it the anime did not help validate her conclusion in Wano)

'He was a hero' 'I don't care, he was my dad first' - Oda please my heart doesn't have room for all these knives

Bonney also wants to be a pirate when she's 10 and cured

Kuma journeys out for info on Sapphire Scales, traveling to all the places he sent the Straw Hats to

He first goes to Chopper's island, since they had vast medical information

Then to Mihawk's island, doesn't look too occupied back then

Oh hey it's those Grand Fleet guys, Jeet and Abdullah

The bounty hunters of course fail in trying to claim Kuma, this was very pre-Dressrosa

Vegapunk's old home is next but they don't have answers

Tequila Wolf is sailed past again (Kuma and Oden have now sailed past it), I don't know what the next one is but it looked like Kuma helped it out, maybe it was Brook's island?

Then Weatheria (Nami's island) and the Boin Archipelago (Usopp's island) with Heracles'n

The stress is creeping up on Kuma though, dead ends and Bonney's 10th birthday is getting closer

Now that's a draconic ship there

The Revolutionaries have found Kuma, Morley has joined and Betty is still looking way different to how she does now

Dragon has a drink with his old Comrade, Ivankov and Inazuma are in Impel Down at this point, but despite all the news around Kuma he doesn't listen to media

Betty also gets Kuma's blessing to lead the Eastern Forces, since Dragon wouldn't allow anyone to take Ginny's position without it

Sabo and Koala also wanted to see Kuma, if only Dragon showed this much pride in his biological child

But he does give Kuma some intel, Vegapunk is moving labs and security is lax, good time for an audience

I think the move is implied to be the Punk Hazard incident too

Kuma is more than willing to rejoin the Revolutionaries once Bonney is cured, and Dragon is more than willing to welcome him back

Back at Sorbet, Bonney is learning how to fight, the scales are still spreading slowly though

Kuma takes Bonney to Navy Science Division Lab 08, which will later be where Egghead Island is, telling her it's a check-up

Got a little box for her like Nezuko

Everyone's surprised about how weird looking the other is

Vegapunk CAN cure Bonney, so clone theory might be done now

Bonney is playing with Sentomaru at this moment so she's not privy to the conversation

Stem Cell Treatment will be the method, real life solutions being thrown in there

The price is exorbitant though, equivalent to building a cyborg

Vegapunk also learns that Kuma's a buccaneer, even though his association with the WG would make that dangerous information

Vegapunk can't explain why Buccaneer blood is special, but he'd like more of it to clone him

Kuma is of course concerned about the idea of clone soldiers, but with Vegapunk using it as a form of payment he's more than willing to do it

Vegapunk hoped at least that the clone army's ability to deflect bullets and shoot lasers would scare evil pirates into submission, having watched Oppenheimer I think the sentiment is meant to be similar

But Kuma does like the idea of robots bearing his likeness protecting the innocent

Saturn meanwhile though has other intentions for them 'a weapon's worth is defined by how many it kills'

The bots are named Pacifista after Kuma's proclaiming himself a pacifist, two men looking to do some good without the hindsight of what damage they will wrought

This was a steady chapter really, could've been a lot more devastating for sure.

We've slowly built up again to all the stuff leading to Kuma's affiliation with Vegapunk, as well as his brief run as a pirate. Much like Corazon it seems most of his travels were fuelled by trying to find a cure for Bonney. A lot of blasts from the pasts this chapter too, though I suppose it makes sense that Kuma visited the places he sent the Straw Hats to, given how them being sent there was tailored for their skills or what they needed to improve on.

The Bonney Clone theory is likely dead, but I still can't put it past Oda to pull the rug, especially for Chapter 1100 - Oda and round numbers after all.

But yeah, it seems a brief alleviation for the moment, before it likely goes to hell again...
