Biography and Early Life Born on July 30, 1973, in Faridabad, Haryana, Sonu Nigam's journey in music began at a very young age. His father, Agam Kumar Nigam, was also a singer, which naturally influenced young Sonu's passion for music. Notably, he started performing on stage alongside his father by the age of four, singing popular Bollywood songs. This early exposure to the world of music undoubtedly set the stage for his future career. Sonu Nigam's Journey in Bollywood However, Sonu's path to fame wasn't a smooth one. When he moved to Mumbai as a teenager, he encountered the fierce competition within the Bollywood songs scene. Nevertheless, his breakthrough arrived in the 1990s when he sang "Accha Sila Diya" for the film Bewafa Sanam (1995). This success was followed by hits like "Sandese Aate Hai" from Border (1997) and "Yeh Dil Deewana" from Pardes (1997), which helped cement his place in the industry. Does it get easy? Living alone
From dusk to dawn, you are on your own
At the end of the day, when there's really no one
When you make the perfect cup of tea for one
No sound of footsteps or jingling of keys,
Wake up when you wish and sleep as you pleas
The shrills car horns are all you hear,
And when you want to talk the walls do give an ear,
To eat in bed, to lie on floor,
To spend your day just looking at door
To know no one worries and no one waits,
No phone calls when you come home late,
Is it Freedom, Aazaadi, the feeling of" I ",
Or it what poets call loneliness, or in urdu "Tanhayee"

25 WOW Frames of Dil Chahta Hai
25 WOW Frames of Dil Chahta Hai
[ad_1]
Dil Chahta Hai revolutionised the language of Hindi films. Sukanya Verma shows us how.
If you look at Dil Chahta Hai, it’s just 20-something friends hanging out, pulling each other’s leg, traveling to scenic locations, lounging on comfortable furniture, gorging on good food and falling in love.
Young lives are its focus without any reckless rebellion to drive home their age or exuberance.

Hey PS!! Hope you're doing excellently 😊. I choose Dil Chahta Hai for the send me a movie ask!
Heyy :)
I am doing well today, I hope you're having a nice day too!
Dil Chahta Hai
It's been twenty years!? I can't even wrap my head around that! Farhan Akhtar's directorial debut gave us all unrealistic expectations of life after college. I don't think I'd seen such an honest portrayal of the transition to young adulthood before. Everything about this movie -- the characters, the dialogue (weird, cheesy lines aside), the plot, the cinematography -- made it accessible to the audience in a way that Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara wasn't able to reproduce. Having said that, I know they're two different movies with different intentions.
But there are some minor issues I have with it:
The triangular facial hair on Aamir Khan shouldn't have been allowed.
See also: the bird-flapping dance move
I get that it was 20 (!!) years ago but I wish they'd been brave enough to show Tara and Sid in a relationship.
The way the picturisation of 'Tanhayee' focusses so heavily on inner city train stations is just weird.
After all the freshness and pushing boundaries, it had to show the nonsense about interrupting a wedding? It’s just so ... filmy.
Overall 10/10. You’ve made me want to rewatch it!!
Thanks for asking! ❤️
Send me a movie. PS roasts the classics.

Hey TT! Totally random but I was just curious to know what are some of your most fav bollywood songs from the 90s - early 2000s era? like in terms of your go-to sad and/or happy songs? Also, who were/are your fav singers from that time?
God, picking favs from that era (pre- 2005) is nearly impossible for me; I love almost everything that came out in that period, be it Bollywood or Indipop. So much nostalgia!
Fav singers were obviously Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam, Daler Mehendi, Lucky Ali, Shankar Mahadevan, KK, Shaan, etc. I mean, those first four practically had a monopoly going for a decade, so…..….
Absolute fav soundtracks: Bombay, Dil Se, Rangeela, Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayi, 1942: A Love Story, Judwa, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Yes Boss, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, K3G, Taal, Thakshak, Chameli, Asoka, Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Bluffmaster....
I have a slightly more nitpicky way to categorize the songs than just into happy/sad. My categories are: Iconic!!!, General Happy + Dancey + Ghaati, Romance and Sad.
Time to shuffle up my iPod!
Iconic!
Ek Do Teen
Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast
Tip Tip Barsa Pani
Choli Ke Peeche
Husn Hai Suhana
Saat Samundar Paar Main Tere
Chaiyya Chaiyya
Ek Pal Ka Jeena
Mera Piya Ghar Aaya
Dekha Hai Pehli Baar
Chamma Chamma
Dhak Dhak Karne Laga
Churake Dil Mera
Tanha Tanha
Didi Tera Devar
General Happy + Dancey + Ghaati
Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaaon
Jaata Hai Tu Kahaan
Bholi Si Surat
Neeche Phoolon Ki Dukaan
Khamosh Raat Sehmi Hawa
Gumshuda
Rang Deeni
Munda Kamaal Hai
Gore Gore Mukhde Pe Kaala Kaala Chashma
Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha
Sarkailo Khatiya
Ole Ole
Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein
Ishq Di Galli Vich No Entry
Main Khiladi Tu Anari
Chunari Chunari
Aaj Hai Sagaai
Mehendi Mehendi Na Mujhko Lagaana
Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe
Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo
Deedar De
Mehboob Mere
Nimbooda
Dholi Taaro
Chal Pyaar Karegi
Angana Mein Baba
Chadh Gaya Upar Re Atariya Pe
Meri Pant Bhi Sexy
Meri Marzi
Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare
Tu Shayar Hai
Main Laila Laila Chilaonga
Kali Naagin Ki Jaisi
Ishq Kameena
Sexy Sexy Sexy Mujhe Log Bole
Jumma Chumma
Bhangra Paale
Amma Dekh
O Laal Dupatte Waali
I Love You (Auzaar)
Mohabbat Hai Mirchi
Aaj Na Chodunga Tujhe
Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam
Dus Bahaane
Ek Ajnabee - Mama Told Me
Dil Dooba
Yeh Jo Teri Payalon Ki Chan Chan Hai
Ruth Na Jaana
Mere Khwaabon Mein Tu Meri Saanson Mein Tu
I Am A Bachelor
Telephone Dhun
Tumhe Aaj Jo Maine Dekha
Thoda Daaru Vich Pyaar
Jhanjariya
Bholi Bhali Ladki
Dilwaalo Ke Dil Ka Qaraar Lootne
Paalki Mein Hoke Sawaar
Main Toh Hoon Pagal Munda
Romance
Ho Gaya Hai Tujhko Toh Pyaar
Arre Re Arre
Waada Raha Sanam
Jaadu Teri Nazar
Mujhe Neend Na Aaye
Meri Saason Mein Basa Hai Tera
Jaadu Bhari Aankhon Waali Suno
Chand Se Parda Kijiye
Hum Toh Deewane Hue Yaar
Humko Sirf Tumse Pyaar Hai
Yeh Hawaaein Zulfon Mein Teri
Tauba Tumhare Yeh Ishaare
Kuch Na Kaho (1942: A Love Story)
Chup Gaya Badli Mein Jaake
Saanson Ki Zaroorat Hai Jaise
Dekhne Waalon Ne Kya Kya
Is Tarah Aashiqui Ka Asar
Sambhla Hai Maine
Tumsa Koi Pyaara Koi
Panchi Nadiyaan
Aisa Lagta Hai
Aankhon Mein Base Ho Tum
Kitni Bechain Hoke
Aye Kaash Ke Hum Hosh Mein
Paas Woh Aane Lage
Chehra Kya Dekhte Ho
Aapke Pyaar Mein
Jaadoo Hai Nasha Hai
Mann Ki Lagan
Yeh Bekhudi Deewangi
Achchi Lagti Ho
Sad
Chitthi Na Koi Sandes
Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayi
Chupaana Bhi Nahi Aata
Achcha Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyaar Ka
Tadap Tadap Ke
Tu Pyaar Hai Kisi Aur Ka
Ae Ajnabi
Tanhayee
Dil Mera Churaya Kyun (sue me, but I prefer it to Wham’s Last Christmas………..)
Pyaar Ke Liye Chaar Pal Kam Nahi The
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Wo Meri Neend Mera Chain
Pardesi Pardesi Jaana Nahin
Jeeta Tha Jiske Liye
Sabki Baaratein Aayi
Nahi Saamne
Aankh Hai Bhari Bhari
Haan Judaai Se Darrta Hai Dil
Aye Dil Dil Ki Duniya Mein
Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana
Koi Fariyaad
Lol this is just the tip of the iceberg, but I hope it keeps you sufficiently occupied for the next few hours!
