A bit late to starting this off but this was written for @skizzlemanweek !!!

Day One: Silent/Shout (Skango flavored)

Skizz wasn't subtle with his love. He'd gladly shout it from the rooftops and eagerly ramble about his boyfriend whenever the opportunity arose. In his mind, nothing could be more worth talking about than Tango, and the fact that of everyone in the world, Tango had chosen him.

Tango's love was quiet. All affection-filled looks and wordless actions to help Skizz out with whatever he may need. He'd gladly spend hours perfecting the redstone for a creation Skizz had big ideas for, or gather enough food to keep them both fed, all without needing to be asked first. He loved Skizz, and he knew that no matter what, Skizz loved him too.

Others may have seemed confused by the nature of their relationship, so warm and full of love despite their playful innuendos or particularly friendly comments. But they knew what they were, knew who they were. And that was enough for them.

"What do you think?" Tango asked, leaning in close to show off the sketch he'd made of the machine Skizz had described during one of their talks.

Skizz eyed the drawing in awe, delightfully surprised by the amount of effort and detail that Tango had put into it to make something tangible and possible from a throw-away idea Skizz had mentioned for a farm. He glanced up and wordlessly kissed Tango's cheek while the other man was still glancing down at the paper.

Tango's eyes widened as he stammered loudly, cheeks turning red as he looked away, flustered grin spreading across his face.

Skizz laughed, smiling so wide his cheeks ached as he slung an arm around his boyfriend's shoulders to pull him into a side hug. "It's perfect, Top." He said, resting his head against Tango’s until the other man relaxed against him in turn.

Skizz smiled and closed his eyes, savoring the moment before eventually opening his eyes again as he recounted his vision for the farm Tango had drawn up while Tango listened silently, occasionally nodding along or furrowing his brows in that handsome way Skizz recognized as him working out the logistics of the redstone involved.

He really loved that look on his face.

Skizz continued to talk for a bit before quieting down to watch Tango add onto his sketch, a lovesick grin on his face all the while.

Just a quick doodle to get this idea out of my brain, plus I wanted to try something new with sketching. Gonna be honest, not a fan of tanglemanes design, but I'm making it work.

So my Tanglemane has a white chin brought on by localized segmental vitiligo! He's genetically predisposed to it, and when he was young he broke his jaw and it got infected. This triggered his vitiligo. He has since healed, but doesn't have pigment there anymore. He is also Nalas dad in this AU!

NOTE* I'm aware lions do not get vitiligo irl. This is a hypothetical. Also if it's inaccurate my bad! Please let me know, this is based off research and a family member who has a different form of vitiligo but I'm not 100% sure

Okay so... For uh clarification. Zira, in your story, is Ayubu and Heba's daughter and was born in the Thornbush Pride. But Heba and Ayubu fled with them to the Pridelands when the Barberry twins killed Tanglemane and took leadership. Ayubu killed Heba, but sometime later Zira and Jioni return to the Thornbush Pride where Mkuu and Zira are mates? But then Zira leaves again with Jioni when Mtemi tries to force himself on Jioni. Zira ends up back in the Pridelands/Outlands or something?? Meets Scar and TLK2 events and stuff? Trying to cobble together this timeline of all the extra lore you made ^_^ it's interesting but i wanna make sure im understanding this right lol

This is exactly what I hate. Tracers passing off clear cut tracing as “But I referenced!” and even screams about “But my repewtayshunz!” They clearly traced off of NewSea-ANother on deviantART, they traced the head of their Tanglemane. That makes this my business. They’re tracing fanart and passing it off as originul the urt donut steel. It’s only the one thus far. But that’s a huge no-no in this fandom.

Years ago, before TLG, I noticed there weren’t a whole lot of OCs that were Kiara’s friends. A bunch of Simba’s friends and variations of the SNA cubs, but Kiara was mostly left alone because not alot of people liked her. So I made Asha and Simi to fill the gap later taken by Zuri and Tiifu.

These were their ‘revamped’ designs made after TLG became a thing. They are the daughters of Safi (’My how you’ve grown’ lioness) with two seperate fathers (Tanglemane and King Joe). Asha was confident she would be queen of the pridelands someday, but with Kiara deciding to keep her role as heir and Kion moving to the Night Pride those hopes were dashed. Simi used to claim she was Simba’s daughter and try to wedge herself into royal affairs much to the other’s annoyances. Instead of becoming ladies in waiting like Tiifu and Zuri they grew to be simple huntresses who mainly entertain themselves by spreading gossip about the royal family.

little known not 100% canon facts about the world of the lion king (from comics, mini stories, and such that were okayed by disney but not created by disney, which creates a faction of information referred to as ‘semi-canon’)

in simba’s pride, simba and nala only have one cub, kiara. however, there’s a series of books where there’s no kiara, but instead a son named kopa. he’s bland but somehow has a cult following 

there are other cubs around simba and nala’s age (when they were cubs, haven’t been seen since) in the pride; kula, a brown cub who likes to eat (relatable) ; chumvi, who thinks lions are The Shit ; tojo, who just looks like simba with blue eyes and a limp but unique in that he basically adopted 6 bird hatchlings as a cub; and tama, nala’s rebound bff when simba was being a shit one time. there’s also malka, the lost boy with a black mane tuft (and ear tufts!! he’s very cute) but a brown tail tip, but he’s actually part of a separate pride and was only in the pridelands for a little while.

scar’s “real” name is taka, which is swahili for ‘garbage’, ‘to want’, ‘dirt’

scar also has been trying to off mufasa way before the stampede. once he slipped a cobra into mufasa’s bedding as he slept, and another time antagonized a water buffalo into trying to fight mufasa

there was another lion in the jungle where timon and pumbaa raised simba. he’s like my fave semi canon character and his name is tanglemane. he had his own pride but age made it harder to defend from rogues wanting to take over so after he was defeated he resided in the jungle. simba said he reminds him of mufasa :’(

kopa has more non-lion friends than you would expect of a lion prince. there’s a hyrax named pimbi, the monkeys jambo and kwaheri, the civet ngawa, but most famous is the hyena, asante. 

simba once got kicked off the throne by a hyena named fisi who conned a cheetah, kesho, into doing a rigged fight against simba. when simba lost bc.... i think fisi drugged him, i can’t remember, he and kopa were exiled. they came back with an elephant, kicked ass, then everything was back to normal :^)

simba has two male cousins but no one’s sure if it’s from his mom’s side or his dad’s bc the parents of those cousins are scruffy mufasa + sarabi clones

kiara once mentioned having a cousin in a cd game too

zazu has or had a gf, which is funny bc in simba’s pride he was gonna have a mate named binti before she was scrapped

other lions: mega, leo (no one’s sure which is which), sabini, babu, boga, ni, “joe”, ahadi, uru, mohatu, “the selfish lion”, mheetu (who was nala’s brother cut from production) and sarabi’s sisters who were cut from production: dwala, diku, and naanda, who at the time also doubled as nala’s mom
