Ahh the struggle of wanting to write, make art, work on projects and talk to people but having 0 energy and hardly being able to stay awake is beyond frustrating. Chronic illness go away I wanna make Tails cry.

So with that ✨self projection time✨🤭 (sorry tails, no escape)

I can so see Tails getting extremelyyy frustrated during times of intense fatigue or illness. I imagine he likely has these energy dips quite often given the knock on effect the strength of using his tails might have. His likely poor eating and sleeping schedule from working on projects on top of this definitelyyy wouldn’t help.

I think that’s what he’d find most frustrating of all. Him having all these unfinished inventions, gadgets and blueprints he was so excited to keep working on, maybe even things so, so close to completion… and not having the energy to work on any of it. So much of his worth stems from wanting to use those things to help his friends, and the inability to do so would make him feel worthless. Sonic of would remind him that’s not the case of course. But that wouldn’t take that frustration and doubt away <\3 And knowing Tails, that probably still wouldn’t stop him from trying and he’d only make himself more ill in the process.

Ahh this consumes me. I’ve actually got a fic wip that’s been sitting around for like 2 years that kinda surrounds this concept. Maybe one day I can try and get it out there! ✨ ( …When my own health improves and I’ve got the energy to finish it that is lol, one day hopefully :,) )

Every single character I have ever obsessed over falls into one of four categories:

Kid with no one in his corner who's used to looking after himself realises that (often despite his best efforts) people actually care about him and he has a support system.

Older brother type vibes who is the comic relief and painted as dumb or clueless but actually has deep insecurities and is so so smart in other ways and has a fiercely protective streak.

Young (though not always) woman who has been through a rough time and has Trauma but is still strong and refuses to let her past define her and makes an effort to be kind. (this character tends to become part of my soul)

Loser man become dad.

Thinking back on my playthrough of Tangle Tower and how Penny went after the 5 family members bc she was desperate for a common cause only to find that no, they just left, and yeah I can see how that’s upsetting and a tipping point to someone already not in a good place…

And then realizing that 2 of those five were her parents. That she went searching for them at 19. That they left her at Tangle Tower as a child. Looking for beetles and shit.

Yeah I’d feel murderous too.

Edit: after looking at her family tree, only one of the five from the photo was Pen’s parent (Pandora Pointer. Her dad Buck Braxley might have gone with her, or could be dead, I don’t remember. Either way, he’s not at Tangle Tower present day)

Carol Danvers and Hal Jordan know each other, and Carol does not like him. He knows who she is bc Captain Marvel is more a title than a secret identity. She knows who he is because only Hal Jordan would be Like That

Ace the Bat-Hound was around from Dick's early teens to shortly after Jason's adoption. Bruce wants to get another dog, and when he eventually does, it'll be a white lab named Ghost. Ghost is named after Gwen Stacy, Ghost Spider, because of Bruce's time spent on her Earth in Everybody's Gonna Hear Me Out

I know I've mentioned it before, but Dinah Lance and Bobby Drake are cousins, and Jack Drake is also their cousin but a little older. Dinah and Bobby were pretty close to each other growing up but have drifted apart as life took them in different directions. Bobby kept trying to convince Dinah to join the X-Men when they were in their teens though

Dinah and Bobby know about Tim but he has no idea that he's related to them

Thanks to some documents S.H.I.E.L.D. forged for them, Kara is legally Carol Danvers' younger cousin who ended up in her care after her parents' deaths.

Carol is also an honorary member of the House of El because of her close relationship with Kara

Dick Grayson is demisexual but he doesn't know that

Cassandra Cain and Nadia Van Dyne met in the Red Room. They never spent much time together, seeing as Nadia was doing science stuff and Cass was doing living weapon stuff, but they met and recognize each other.

Both Cass and Nadia were also both trained by Yelena Belova prior to her defection

Jason was also trained by Yelena, during his Lost Days era and after her defection

Cass and Jason know the other one was taught by a Widow because they can recognize what Yelena taught the other one. It's never come up in conversation but They Know

Tim Drake needs glasses but he usually wears contacts because do you really think he could wear glasses in that household? Nah

He's also the DM for the ongoing Batboy DnD campaign.

Jason makes atrocious characters for said DnD campaign. Some of his "best" are Cool Bruce (literally just Bruce but he uses a gun), Legally Distinct from Shrek, and Edward from Twilight. He changes names but it's obvious what he's doing. Tim gets close to fratricide every time he pulls out a new one

Damian likes Warriors. He is such a huge fan but he does not want any of his siblings to know this because he thinks they'll think it's cringe. He's probably right about most of them, but Dick is the reason the books were in the Manor in the first place so he has no room to judge.

Natasha Romanov's favorite Robin is Jason, he's the only one she met as Robin (until she met Damian in investigation) and she thinks he's cool as Red Hood too
