First I hope you’re doing okay 🥺🥺

May I request Tangerine x reader taking a bath together, maybe reader washing tangerine’s hair ? 🫶🏼🫶🏼

set in the FBB universe, under a cut bc suggestive ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I enjoyed writing this one bc it’s a bit softer♥️

You so rarely get time to yourself any more. Between being a mother and your long shifts at work, days entirely your own are few and far between. You make the most of them when you can. 

You relax in the bath and swish the water around with your hand, enjoying the warm resistant feeling of it. Your tight muscles slowly unclench and for the first time in ages you feel relaxed. 

From across the quiet house you hear the front  door open and shut, then your husband calling your name. You perk up, because if there’s one thing you have even fewer of than days by yourself, it’s days with Tangerine. 

“In the bath, love,” you shout to him, and within seconds he’s walking in. Once upon a time part of you might have been shy about him seeing you naked when he’s fully clothed, but years of marriage shedded that embarrassment. You meet his beautiful blue eyes and smile. 

“Someone looks comfortable,” Tangerine says, reaching down to drop a kiss on your lips. His hand caresses your soapy back and you smile against his mouth. 

“Kids aren’t here, Lemon’s out, I’ve got the day off from work; might as well use it to my advantage.” You look him up and down, a little smile growing on your face. “You going to join me then, big boy?”

It takes Tangerine about half a second before he decides: yes. He is going to join you. His shirt and trousers are stripped and thrown neatly over the empty towel rack, and he steps carefully into the warm water. You were smart to get your en-suite bathroom renovated a couple of years back. The extra large bath was definitely a good idea. 

You take his hand as he joins you, encouraging him to sit between your legs and lay back against your chest. He looks uncertain for a moment, but when you fix him with A Look he knows better than to argue so he gets into place - resting his head back on your shoulder, allowing you access to kiss his neck. He chuckles. 

“If you keep doing that, we aren’t gonna stay in this bath for very long.”

You hum contemplatively and halt your affections. Instead you reach over and grab the nice shampoo Tangerine insists on buying, squeeze some into your hand, and begin to lather up. Your husband tries to look over his shoulder at you but is stopped when you begin to press your fingers into his scalp. 

“Are you… washing my hair?” he asks, a little bemused. You allow one more kiss to his shoulder, soothing. 

“Let me take care of you, eh?”

He doesn’t complain. Instead he lets himself recline in your embrace as you take locks of his hair and cover them with suds, taking extra care to languidly massage him as you go. The impact is immediate, and you feel your husband melt in your arms. It’s not often he allows himself to be vulnerable. You’ll never take for granted how blessed you are to see it. 

When you’re done, you take your time rinsing out your work, then let your hands alight on his pectorals. He takes one and presses a kiss to your fingers. 

“Fuck, I love you,” he mutters. You grin. 

“I love you too.“

Not much caring how clean the bath stays now, you let your hand sink lower.
