Missä tuli käytyä vuonna 2019? 4 ulkomaanmatkaa, 4 kotimaan lomaa
Heipä hei ihana lukijani! Vuosi 2019 lähenee loppuaan ja on mukavaa palata hetkeksi tämän vuoden tehtyihin matkoihin, nähtyihin paikkoihin ja koettuihin tunnelmiin. Minne tämä noviisi matkailija yhden vuoden aikana siis kerkesikään? Tammikuussa hemmottelua talven keskelle tarjosi vanhan kotikaupunkini Turun ihana Ruissalon kylpylä. Mikäpä katkaisisikaan paukkupakkasten valloittaman sydäntalven…

My paternal grandparents had a campsite lot in a remote island in Tammisaari archipelago, and while there is some light pollution from Raasepori, it's very very little, so the night sky was amazing and absolutely mesmerizing for a little me.
One time when we were there, there was a big thunder storm at the archipelago - except at the island we were at and several kilometers around it.
And while I don't remember it visually that well, I remember profoundly how it felt like to lay in a nest of blankets I had constructed in a dip in the bedrock, watching the (almost) clear starry sky while there was flashes of lightning in the horizon in all three cardinal directions we could see and then falling asleep there.

Immer noch Ekenäs/ Tammisaari. 8.-13.7.23

Anfang Januar in absoluter Dunkelheit.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
