10) favourite kingdom hearts 2 world

I feel like World That Never Was should honestly be disqualified given it's objectively the best world in the game but I'm giving this a fair answer from the Disney worlds that, funny enough, my partner and I were talking about yesterday.

Which my answer is probably either Beast's Castle, Pridelands, or Space Paranoids. Beast's Castle has the best gameplay and the best (pretty much only) story integration of the Disney worlds of the game, Pridelands has lion Sora and therefore is objectively the best, and Space Paranoids I think has a pretty decent story (and story integration) and I'm really invested in what it means for KH3D when we revisit the Tron world later.

14.favourite birth by sleep world

Castle of Dreams. It is my favorite Disney movie in the game, its design is gorgeous, and I genuinely care about its story and how it affects Terra, Aqua, and Ven. My only issue with the world is that it seriously messes with chronology. I cannot figure out for the life of me how Aqua is the last one of them to visit when it is canonically her first world. Somebody make this timeline make sense.

20.hopes for kingdom hearts 3 4

My number one hope is for a Lauriam/Strelitzia reunion. Over the years I have become too invested in them and so I would love to see them reunite. And more of Lauriam. God have I mentioned I love KHUx Lauriam.

Otherwise I'd really like to see just what the Foretellers have been up to. I know a lot of people are on the Foretellers are antagonistic now line of thought and while they're probably right I really do want to see them get redemption. But if they don't I want to see Ava be evil with the rest of them. Don't exclude her Square, don't be a coward with this one.

Otherwise I guess some Disney worlds I'd like to see like...I'm still waiting on Princess and the Frog. And Atlantis. And I'd love to see Wreck it Ralph in full graphics. Otherwise not too invested in the world list overall.

(I may be a Star Wars fan now and there are two warring parts in me on the potential (likely) inclusion of Star Wars but as a Kingdom Hearts fan first and I think to the betterment of the story we are still better off not having Star Wars in KH.)

(Even if I do want to see Sora and Luke talking desperately.)

Honestly I just really like Oathkeeper. A lot. It's pretty and emotionally significant. I also really like Starlight. And Stroke of Midnight. And of course Ava's Keyblade.

Xemnas probably has the biggest issue with this, mostly because he's been attached to the hip with Luxu for as long as he can remember. Meanwhile, Luxu has lived lifetimes without any real attachments, and he also has a skewed sense of time at this point. So I imagine that, at times, Luxu unknowingly exacerbates this problem, going away on missions for longer than intended because what feels like forever to Xemnas is probably the blink of an eye to him.

Xemnas probably deals with this by monologuing to the moon about his problems in the vaguest way he can. Saix standing by with his clipboard, just wanting to get his work done. Eventually getting used to his boss becoming even more weird and reclusive when a certain someone is away on missions for too long...

And I don't think Luxu ever really notices an absence from Xem until he's gone gone, and even then, it takes a while. Like, oh, right, I don't have someone to report back to. Really not gonna see him again, huh. Has a sort of delayed reaction to the fact that he's really gone.

I am using the AO3 theme on a sideblog and it seems like something tumblr did has completely broken it. I checked the theme preview (static) on your page and it is broken as well. Do you know if there's anything that can be done to fix it? Thanks!

oh that does not sound good! but... i'm not seeing any issues on my end, could you send me screenshots of what it looks like for you?

(if the issue was that the theme just showed as plain text with no colors or layout features, it may be that github (where some of the theme assets are hosted) was down for a bit. usually you can just wait a bit and that issue will resolve itself)

4. what are some themes you love writing about?

hmm. at the risk of sounding pretentious, maybe like…agency? choice vs fate? Like exploring how a character’s choices matter even when (especially when) they are “doomed by the narrative.” how their choices can undoom them, I guess, or even if there’s no escaping a level of doom, the choices still matter and mean something.

that all sounds very highbrow tho considering that the main theme I explore is the limits of human stupidity, or, “how embarrassing can I make this character act before the reader quits and closes the tab.” a theme I quite enjoy! :D
