I think Namine and Riku Replica should get more credit for being the first characters in the KH series to really introduce/explore the "struggling with identity" theme that is now a core aspect of what Kingdom Hearts is all about. Because like, that theme wasn't really present in KH1, at least not overtly (unless you want to count Riku character analysis stuff.) A lot of KH things we take for granted now were introduced in KH1 of course, but not this.

Like idk it's just wild to me that Riku Replica and Namine were like the pioneers of one of the most important themes of the series and yet their popularity/relevance in the current day is like. Not a lot. Compared to other characters.
