Ali Michael Cannon (he/him) is a writer, organizer, activist, and public speaker who is a recognized leader in the transgender community. Professionally, he has worked in the education field for 30 years, serving as a District Administrator and a Non-Profit Manager. Currently he works as a consultant, supporting schools to become more LGBTQ+ inclusive and address issues of equity and bias. A proud father and husband—he lives in Oakland with his wife, Jessica, an Oakland Public School Principal, and their high school son. He has a godson who just graduated from college, reflecting how much chosen family is a vital part of his relationship to building and sustaining queer community.

His writing has been published in From the Inside Out: Radical Gender Transformation, FTM and Beyond. His provocative illumination of Jewish and transgender themes can be seen in the film, It’s A Boy: Journeys from Female to Male and his essay (co-authored with TJ Michels), Whose Side Are You On: Transgender at the Western Wall. Cannon founded the theater group, Transmen Tell Their Tales, and was a long-time writer, performer, and producer of Chutzpah—a Queer Jewish theater group in San Francisco.

Ali earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and San Francisco State respectively.  He served on the Board of Our Family Coalition, the Bay Area’s LGBTQ Family Organization for eight years.

The daycare I work at has themes each week, and this week’s first entry into spoopiness was Nocturnal Animals.

And while trimming out one of the coloring sheets we’d done hand-over-hand coloring with the babies to hang up, I couldn’t help but notice something….

….

I mean, you see it too, right??

(it was most noticeable when cutting it out, since I like to leave a white border and the ears became sharper points…)

i remmeber a slight while back i stumbled on a very very small youtube channel that was just uploading raw, several hour, unedited recordings of games, barely any views at all, from what i remember this wasnt a vod channel just somwhere ghey'd upload this, i dont at all remember if it was good or not. but before that i had knew someone who had really tried to get into youtube, got advice from tons of youtubers and i osmosised a buncha that so i regurgatated that to this random guy making these videos as a ton of advice for him to succede in the youtube sphere or whatever, i dont remeber what he said and i think its funnier if i dont check but i remember him saying something along the lines of "thank you for writing all this advice! however i am not going to do that, as" anythibg he said after that point wouldnt be very accurate as i dobt rember but i thought about him cause im uploading like a 4 and a half unlisted recording of me fucking around playing undertale yellow in a call with someone and i finally get it i do
