how far does Billy and Talaney's relationship go in the show??

OK this might be a bit longer ramble I hope you don't mind!

To be honest, with how I'm planning things out Canon/story-wise, in the actual events of the series, Billy and Talaney aren't a couple. At least not on screen.

They're relationship is kinda on and off/nothing really official until the end of season two, but something happens between then and season three because by the time s3 starts, Talaney and Billy are broken up. [mentioned often by Steve firstly, and the kids.]

A little [literal] slip at Hawkins pool ends up reuniting them for a bit, and Billy asks her out again for a 'second chance'... Which is a complete lie because that same day, he offers the hookup to Mrs Wheeler.

Talaney doesn't know this, and for personal reasons, Billy wanting to try their relationship again is what she's been looking for. She agrees. She's desperate.

Until she sees him with Heather. And is told that she and him have been skipping/missing shifts at the pool, which we all know is because they are victims to the Mind Flayer, but to Talaney-Anne, it makes her realize that she was played again. And maybe in a panic she runs to Steve- which does give us some good angsty to fluffy comfort.

I really want to have earlier parts of s3 be Talaney and Steve relationship-focused... At least until Talaney is told about what's happening to Billy. I have stated before that Talaney truly does care about Steve, but she tries so hard to fight those feelings even if Steve is very openly feeling the same way, which does cause a little turmoil and pushing away. She can't help but feel that there's still something there for Nancy, and for her, it's Billy.

[And also maybe the fact she's told Steve that she's currently pregnant with Billy's baby in s3 but SHSHSHSHS]

But of course there isn't any time for forgiveness and healing, because by the time it's made clear to us that Billy did care about Talaney, he's dead. And she never gets that reasurrance or solace.

Was talking about silly stuff with a friend on Discord and mentioned that Talaney has two sets of beauty marks. The two on her cheeks, [and one on her chin I suppose] and two matching ones on her buttcheeks. She's super embarrassed by them cause her panties and swimsuits don't cover them AT ALL and Billy just loves teasing her about them.

OMG LAV TYSM ID LOVE TO SHARE SOME FACTS ON OUR GAL!! 🩷🩷

🩷-Talaney-Anne is partially named after her moms county winning dairy cow Anne.

🩷-Talaney dreamt of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader since she was six!

🩷-Two of Talaney's Brothers are seniors in highschool and on the basketball team! Her older two brothers are travelling rodeo Cowboys and her big/eldest sister is a forest ranger in Hawkins.

🩷-She used to do pageants and barrel race/ride show ponies from age 8-13. I'm talking the sparkly cowgirl hats and tassled shirts and chaps- everything.

🩷-Talaney and her siblings live with their grandmother in the more... Rural/red-neck part of Hawkins.

🩷-Talaney is embarrassed by it, but she has a country accent! She tries to cover it up a lot but it slips when she gets mad.

🩷-She does not know how to swim! So she has a slight fear of large bodies of water, or at least water she can't touch the surface of.

🩷-BIGGEST crush on Billy Idol. She loves his music.

🩷-She's not really on the skinny/curvy side like her fellow cheer girls. She's a little more toned. Box/apple body type with smaller curves and a slight pudge of her tummy and thighs that she's EXTREMELY self conscious about. [It's kinda weird to point out but I think she's one of the first few of my s/i that I've given my actual body-type.]

🩷-As sweet as she is- Talaney is STUBBORN when she wants to be. And very hard headed. Sometimes it's subtle in her being persistent.. Other times she's just a real pain in the ass.

🩷-Those first few days of getting Max to warm up to her were BRUTAL. This girl was doing everything she could to get the kid to like her/be comfortable around her. She even took her to get their nails and hair done together and Max was NOT a fan LMAO.

🩷-Unfortunately she isn't allowed to use her brother Willy's truck [which is the only truck they siblings have] cause she doesn't have a license... And cuz he treats it like his baby or something. So Talaney unfortunately bikes a lot there and back to school, the store, home, ect.

🩷-Has a bit of a rocky relationship with her older sister Casey due to her sister's strictness and constant pressure. But she's just trying to step in and be a mother figure as best she can.

🩷-Originally from Utah but only till when she was a baby then she moved to Hawkins!

🩷-Her entire wardrobe is every shade of red to pink. And a lot of lace and bows. Her bedroom isn't much different either.

🩷-Surprisingly enough, a pretty big geek! At least when it comes to comic books and Star Wars movies. She knows a little bit about DnD, but only so much from when all her brothers used to play before Brad and Willy went off to Rodeo. Now anytime she tries to say hi or offer snacks or something to her other brothers whilst in the middle of a campaign she's kicked out or a door is slammed on her face.

i didn't read the full thing properly bc i got an idea and had to draw it

Andrea said "DUSTIN! YOUR GADDAMN "SCIENCE DISCOVERY" FELL OUT OF THE FRIDGE!!!" in case you couldn't read my scribbled handwriting

and yesh that's Andrea, and that's how her hair would look in Season 2, the season she starts to join the main cast.

Sooo👀…does talaney-Anne ever gets involved with the ‘situation’ happening in Hawkins with the kids???👁️👁️ and if so, how does she find out? What was her initial reaction?

Oh yes 100%... And I think how she finds herself involved is when she goes to grab some ice/at least anything frozen from the Byers fridge for Steve and Billy after the fight and when Max stabs Billy with the syringe, and before the many shouting voices tell her not to do that.... Its a little to late, and she has a dead, bloody, demodog falling right on top of her from the fridge.

And then she's politely requesting [screaming] some answers on what the hell is going on.

How my Inserts smell/what they're signature scents are [cuz they ain't all cherry actually!]

Chrysta A. Campbell [The Lost Boys 1987]

-Cherry, Vanilla. A perfume she's had since the age if 14 that she will never give up or let go.

-Hairspray, nailpolish. Not strong, but a lingering scent of work hidden under the many layers and spritz of her perfume.

Tamsin A. Benson [TMNT universes. Specifically ROTTMNT]

-Pineapple, Oranges. A very tropical smell lingers on Tamsin, most defined in her hair, not exactly strong, but it's defiantly from her choice in shampoo and conditioner.

-Sweat, gasoline, mechanics. Given she spends a bit of time in Donnie's lab.

Tammy A. Sullberry [Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure/Bogus Journey]

-Lavender, lilacs, Mint. Tammy smells... Well, she's been told: Like an old lady. But she can't help that the lingering smell comes from her grandmother's constant hugging and hovering. That and she lives there.

-Dust, books. Tammy is a bookworm, and she also finds herself as a tutor now, so the smell of a local library or bookshop helps to hide the herbal tea smell that just seems to get stuck to every piece of clothing she owns.

Nancy A. Sullivan [Stand by Me]

-Strawberries, honey. Wether it be a natural scent that lingers on her from her summer days baking, or a little bit of perfume she dabs one the wrists while doing her morning routine.

-Daisy's, grass. Spending a lot of time chasing around Ace and his Cobras while hiding away near the riverbank can leave quite a bit of grass stains, braiding flowercrowns till dinner time with your secret lover fishing at your side. She smells like summer, a smell you can't really get rid of or ever forget.

Talaney-Anne Morris [Stranger Things]

-Apples, cinnamon. A body wash Talaney practically drowns herself in every shower she takes to scrub off all the cheer and farm work.

Hyacinth, straw, grass, sunscreen. The natural smell that lingers on Talaney-Anne behind all the perfumes, lotions, and body wash, a familiar smell of summer and her home back in Utah.

i was gonna give it to you later bc I have been sending a lot of talaney-anne doodles soo I thought I'd be too annoying😅

anyways I've always seen Talaney-Anne as someone who is dramatic, eccentric, like someone who open with expressing themself, someone who's not afraid to be who they are. I picutre Talaney-Anne as someone outgoing and can make up weird stories to roleplay to on the spot and that's why she's so good with kids, like think Bandit from Bluey. That's how I have seen her but I know she's not my character and I'd like to actually get to know more about what kinda person she's like. I used to be really curious about just because she was a stranger things oc and I thought it be cool if we had something common at first, but now I'm genuinely curious about her story. soooooo what is Talaney-Anne Morris like??

Aww tysm for the art!! She looks so pretty all dressed up 🥺 Bandit is an interesting take on her personality too!

Talaney's personality isn't super hyper and loud- but she's still very enthusiastic! She's gotta be being a Cheerleader and all. She's very soft spoken and sweet which is why she's so good with kids and easy to approach. Idk how else to describe her personality other than Disney Princesses like Snow White or Aurora- very curious and day dreamy. She's not goofy or silly... At least not on purpose LOL. She gives off the vibes of an old vintage movie, like Bambie and Fox and The Hound- Vixey is actually a pretty good example of what she acts like! Or maybe Lady from Lady and the Tramp.

Of course she can be loud and excitable when she's in her own element- and that's when she's around family and parties with the red-necks of Hawkins, but even then she's still shy little Talaney, she just likes to swing dance and get out of her bubble more.

Stubborn is her middle name. When she has her mind made and her eye set on something, she isn't budging- or it'll take her a lot of convincing. She's not necessarily competitive, she's not seeking out challenges, but she isn't one to turn down the opportunity either. She won't take anyone's misbehavior or negligence toward herself or her friends and will always stand up for the people she cares for- especially when it comes to the younger kids.

🎀Nancy Sullivan

Nancy grew up in Castle Rock on the more rural side of town. She lives with her Father and four older brothers, who own a mechanics shop! Her mother passed just a year or two after Nancy was born. Her mom was sadly a victim to a bad infection due to polio.

And when she's rolling around the age of four is when she meets Ace at a fourth of July party and their parents introduced one another. They've just been attached since that very day... Even if it seems more like Nancy is following him around like a lost puppy while he wants nothing to do with her.

📣Talaney-Anne Morris

Talaney grew up in Utah for a little time of her life with her parents, four brothers, and big sister. Money was very tight in her life, so her parents had to move the kids to Hawkins and live with her grandmother until there parents could afford a place to stay... At least that's what her siblings all thought. Once her parents had left, they never came back, leaving Talaney's big sister and grandmother to take care of her and her brothers growing up.

⏰️🎸Tammy Sullberry

Tammy is an only child living with her Grandmother in San Dimas. Tammy was a very shy and kept to herself teen- 'Nerdy' if you want to put a label on it. She just spent most of her time in the back of class reading monster and vampire romance and working at a shabby VHS video rental store as a stock girl and working at the front desk. She's thrown for a loop when she's paired up to help Bill and Ted with there history project by being assigned as there after school tutor.

And those are all my 'completed' Insert backstories!! 🩷

WOW THAT'S AMAZING!!! Hope you're enjoying the show so far!! The first season, I'd say, has the most jumpscares while the fourth season, is the goriest (i think that's a word), and yea. hope you'd be ready for that by then :)

also CAN'T wait for some more Talaney-Anne, I am genuinely looking forward to knowing more about her, and I would genuinely be invested in her story, just know that she has one fangirl alr >:3

I don't have much to give considering I'm only like 3 episodes in! 😅 I'm watching it at a slower pace just so I'm not overwhelming myself or freaking myself out- and with a few friends to help make it more fun and comforting! But I'm not far into the series.

I do know I want her to be around with the cast more- but I don't think she'd be like- an extremely main character the kids are, but she's just as important and seen as much as Steve, or Nancy, or Jonathan, you know? At least that's the case in seasons 2-3. Maaybbe a bit of drama at the end of season 3 with her and Billy. I'm contemplating giving her a little more story for season 4 after some angsty stuff I got on the brain that involved Billy as well... 😈

OOOOOO THIS LOOKS INTERESTING!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR PART TWO!!!!

what's Talaney-Anne's relationship/dynamic with the rest of the cast, other than Billy?? (Nancy, Steve, Max, Joyce, etc.)

OoooO! Gonna write put as much as I can and how much I read on the characters with how much of the series of watched so far! [NOTE: at this point I've only seen clips of later seasons and only watched Season 1 episodes 1-3 FULLY through, so Talaney and her relationships with characters might change once I've finished enough of the series!] This is a long one so WOOP

I'll just say with characters like Karen, Claudia, Sue, are on good terms with Talaney since she's been babysitting Mike, Lucas, and Dustin, when they were quite little and she was in junior high/late elementary. She does of course get a bit more familiar and closer to Joyce considering Talaney gets involved with the whole Upside-Down shenanigans- and fun fact! She never really babysat Will often when she was younger due to the Byers house being very hostile during Joyce and Lonnie's relationship. Who she babysits the most and sometimes still does is Dustin! Of course he isn't much of a fan.

Talaney knew Steve in Junior High vaguely- and it's what comes up when she talks to him after her bike had gotten a flat on her way back home from Cheer practice and Steve offered her a ride. They talk a bit and catch up as he takes her back home, and from then on its when their friendship starts to grow and she is added to the team!

That's when I feel Talaney would start becoming a bigger character in the series as season two starts - and also begin her love triangle with Billy and Steve. [Im thinking maybe Billy watches as she gets into Steve's car at school and the challenge is on..👀] They're relationship starts off pretty strong, both very protective and looking out for the kids and the danger they all get themselves into, and she's always helping him out with girls or advice, and it's vice versa as some confusing feelings start to bubble up in between their relationship. I'm thinking around late season three or four, the feelings between the two fizzle back into a strong friendship, knowing Talaney is still recovering from Billy's breakup/death and Steve still hung up on Nance, Talaney-Anne knew that the two of them together when they were still so vulnerable and still trying to pick up their broken pieces was a recipe for disaster, even if she truly did care for and love Steve.

Nancy and her relationship started of sort of awkward- they never hated each other for a while there, but I wouldn't say that they didn't dislike one another either. After confrontations and such at Tina's Halloween party, Nancy and Talaney sort of... Kept their distance, respected boundaries and stuff in the group, but of course, when you got to fight off a bunch of crazy alien dogs and tentacles, the universe sort of... Forces you to bond. There on much better terms, and the two can be a total kickass team blowing up demogorgan faces with shotguns.

The same goes for Johnothan! Again, knew him very vaguely due to Will, but Talaney also knows him cause she use to take some cookies and such that her grandmother made to the Byers and Johnathan would answer the door. They'd share some small awkward talk for a minute before she'd head back home. He also noticed how he'd come home to a few wrapped up slices of cake or tray of cookies on the doorstep after Will had gone missing, with that same signature pink bow wrapped up on top. He remembered there'd always be enough to split it evenly into three servings..

Robin and Talaney bond just how Talaney did with Steve- girl advice. Talaney was very subtle and did her best to sound as if she was dropping simple conversation or gossip, when she was really more giving some hints or offering a little something something for Robin to take note of. She was less secretive about the information and gossip when Robin will happily trade her for it with some free ice cream and scoops ahoy when Talaney comes by for her cravings. She'd die for the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge flavors okay?

Hopper knows Talaney mostly for the expense of her brothers and there trouble. Smashing mailboxes, vandalism... Accidentally chasing their cow and goats into mainstreet.... Yea. But she's grown to know him well because of it! And since her older sister is a Forest Ranger, she's acquainted very well. He's a good older figure to look up to, given Talaney doesn't have her father around in her life. Talaney has to give up/quit babysitting due to some events later on planned for her in the seasons, and Hopper offers her a job as a receptionist for the department- knowing she needs the money and support.

And since this is getting pretty long already, I'm going to make a second post soon with Talaney and her relationship to the kids of the series! [Max, Dustin, El, Mike, Lucas, Will, Erica.]
