𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. Talaney is a well-known babysitter in Hawkins, and it's her main source of income. Rather than spend her nights adventuring with friends or sneaking out to movies, she's at home watching late night cartoons with some of the local neighborhood children.

-𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫. Talaney-Anne is a cheerleader for Hawkins Highschool working spotter and base position. When she isn't busy with babysitting, it seems the only time her friends get to see her is when she's at cheer practice, games, and gym.

-𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠. More of family work, Talaney's family owns a bit of land and a farm. She has her daily chores feeding the chickens and taking the eggs, giving the horses their brushing, and feeding their noble prize-winning dairy cow.

Talaney wears a white sport thigh-high skirt with knee-high stockings topped with little bows on the center of each knee. She wars a dark red sweater with an ivory vine embroidered across the chest. She wears worn out white sneakers as well, but they can sometimes be replaced with leather brown cowboy boots.

-Her Pajamas are made up of two-piece sets- ones you'd usually find in the children's aisle made up of floral patterns and cartoon characters.

𝐌𝐁𝐓𝐈: 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐏. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. Talaney is considered one of the sweetest thing to ever live in Hawkins Indiana. She is a very bubbly and bright girl, always doing her best to make others smile. She almost seems to glow when she enters a room, doing everything in her power to be friends with anyone who's willing to put up with her chattering and her excited rambles. With her bright personality and kind soul, she's a popular student of Hawkins high, being on the cheer team [and a very well received babysitter from the neighborhood parents] she's a familiar and well-known face around town.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭: 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭. Talaney can be very social in the right, comfortable spaces she feels safe in. You tend to see the sweet, light-hearted and bubbly Talaney when Babysitting or with her friends and Cheerleading. She's usually very soft-spoken and quiet when out of her element like parties or large crowds.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭. Talaney is probably one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, always trying to make friends and make everyone feel included. She has a warm presence and welcoming nature that makes her very easy to approach.

-𝐁𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐲. Talaney has all the pep and energy an entire Cheer team could have rolled all into her. She's a very excitable young lady and is always ready to help cheer on the basketball team or simply encourage her loved ones.

-𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲. One thing said about Talaney-Anne is that she's a very kind and caring girl always thinking about others. She has a very soft nature that to a sister-figure, being a safe-space to any and everyone she loves.

-𝐒𝐡𝐲. The true Talaney is a little hard to get to, as you have to break through her deathly walls first. She's a very bashful and sensitive girl, especially when combatted with big personalities or people she hasn't met yet.

-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞. Talaney has a very sympathetic personality. She believes no one is bad for no reason, whether she knows what or why, she thinks everyone who is willing to take it, deserves kindness, and she'll be the one to do so.

-𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. Much like her compassion, she's always considering others. Whether that be taking cakes and cookies to the Byers or watching Dustin for free to help out his mom, she's always thinking about others and how to help them.

𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧. Talaney is extremely strong-willed. When she puts her mind to something, you can't convince her to give up or give in. It does tend to have her clashing heads with a few people, but she isn't one to stand down, especially if it's someone up to no good.

-𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞. Talaney is a victim to being taken advantage of with her kindness, and it leads to a lot of hurt. She tends to put her faith in those who don't exactly deserve it or manipulate it until she realizes it and can't be used as a utlility anymore. It does lead her to be a bit cautious with people, hence her shy nature.

-𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. When Talaney wants things, she wants them quick and taken care of. She usually likes to keep things to herself and get things done by herself as her impatient nature can make her irritated or frustrated when she puts work into other hands.

-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲. Talaney is insecure about herself.

-𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. While it takes a bit to make Talaney blow her lid, once she does, she can act out in bad ways, usually done saying hurtful things she quickly comes to regret. Her temper is something she always tries to control and hates when she seems to just snap and let out anything she's buried deep in her mind.

-𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬. Talaney can be- well- a ditz. She's a very airy kind of girl who sometimes can't tell a joke from an actualy statement- same goes for sarcasm. Her 'innocent' nature renders her the victim to a bit of teasing and hazing from those around her, usually folks like Tommy or Carver.

𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲: Annabelle Morris [Biological Mother], Chadwick Morris [Biological Father], Gladys "Mee-maw" Morris [Biological Grandmother], Eddie Munson [Biological cousin], Wayne Munson [Biological Uncle].

-Talaney was born and lived in Utah in her earlier years of life with her parents Annabelle and Chadwick. Being she was a surprise baby, the young couple weren't expecting a new baby and money grew tighter than it already was. It unfortunately led to the two dropping out of college and moving to Hawkins Indiana, where they lived in a cheap trailer park with the held of Annabelle's brother, Wayne Munson.

From ages two to eight, Talaney spent her life in the trailer park with her slightly older cousin, Eddie Munson. The two were very close growing up, whether it be the loneliness or lack of kids in the trailer park. But while the friendship grew, Talaney's parents and Wayne's relationship was wearing. With Annabelle's poor spending choices and bad work hours and whatever money was left Chadwick used to fix his car or buy his cigarettes and beer, they could barely even afford the trailer park.

It wasn't long before the two and Talaney were kicked out and sent on their way with nowhere to go other than Chadwick's mom, who didn't have the best relationship with the two after they'd ran away to elope in Utah. Talaney didn't even know her grandmother when she was brought to her doorstep and told that she would be staying there with her for a while until her parents could find a home and come back to get her.

Talaney was too young to realize that her parents had left her with her grandmother and ran away, never to come back even till the present day. She didn't know if they did it out of love, for the sake of not raising their daughter in an environment they couldn't give her the best life. Or if it was with full intent of getting rid of the weight of parenthood on their backs that seemed to be constantly draining their wallets.

-𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬: Talaney knew Steve in Junior High vaguely- when she had frizzy hair and big braces. She eventually meets him again more personally during high school when her bike gets a flat on her way back home from Cheer practice and Steve offers her a ride. They talk a bit and catch up as he takes her back home, and from then on, it's when their friendship starts to grow.

 They're relationship starts off a little awkward and shy, but it slowly burns strong around the end events of season two. Both are very protective and looking out for the kids and the danger they all get themselves into, and she's always helping him out with girls or advice, and it's vice versa. Steve begins to grow feelings toward Talaney, but it seems the feelings are one-sided for the moment while she's busy fending of Hawkins newest bad boy, Billy Hargrove, resulting in a competition/love triangle.

𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬: Oh, where to begin when it comes to this self-proclaimed new King of Hawkins. Talaney starts of... Rather skeptical and avoiding of Billy when he comes around. With her brothers' superstitions, and her cheer friends' warnings about how he was "bad news" she tends to stay far away from Billy... Which he himself isn't the biggest fan of.

She's one of the very few girls in town who seemed so hesitant to even look his way and treated him like he was the plague when she comes over to babysit Max. She was one of the only girls who wasn't falling at his feet for a night with him... He more or less saw it as a challenge to snag a date with her, especially when he takes notice of Harrington getting a little close with her for his liking. Their relationship is a little complicated, but she gets closer to Billy more than others would have, and she grows to care about him more romantically when she can finally see glimpses of the real him hidden behind his cocky facade and anger.

𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Nancy and her relationship started off sort of awkward- they never hated each other for a while there, but I wouldn't say that they didn't dislike one another either. After confrontations between Billy and Steve at Tina's Halloween party, Nancy and Talaney sort of...Kept their distance, respected boundaries and stuff in the group, but of course, when you got to fight off a bunch of crazy alien dogs and tentacles, the universe sort of... Forces you to bond. There on much better terms, and the two can be a total kickass team blowing up Demogorgon faces with shotguns.

𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: The same goes for Johnothan! Again, knew him very vaguely due to Will, but Talaney also knows him because she use to take some cookies and such that her grandmother made to the Byers and Johnathan would answer the door. They'd share some small awkward talk for a minute before she'd head back home. He also noticed how he'd come home toa few wrapped up slices of cake or tray of cookies on the doorstep after Will had gone missing, with that same signature pink bow wrapped up on top. He remembered there'd always be enough to split it evenly into three servings.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐦. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: Chrissy was Talaney's first best friends when she was left with her Grandmother and started school. Chrissy's very warm and kind nature is what inspired Talaney's bubbly and excitable nature she has today. Before, she was quiet, timid, and shy, but Chrissy brought out nothing but the best out of her, and they were close all the way through middle-school, up to high school, where they became cheerleaders together.

𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐲𝐥𝐞. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬:  Talaney isn't exactly sure how to feel about the delivery guy, but he doesn't seem harmful or anything, she's glad he keeps Jonathan's company.

𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐲. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Robin and Talaney bond just how Talaney did with Steve- girl advice. Talaney was very subtle and did her best to sound as if she was dropping simple conversation or gossip, when she was really more giving some hints or offering a little something for Robin to take note of. She was less secretive about the information and gossip when Robin will happily trade her for it with some free ice cream and scoops ahoy when Talaney comes by for her cravings. She'd die for the strawberry cheesecake, okay?

𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩/𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: They were super close while Talaney's parents were still in Hawkins, as her family stayed at the trailer park for a couple months before they couldn't afford it and had to move in with her Mee-maw. Talaney was the only one closest to Eddie's age at the time, and they would play around outside or in the woods. They even had a couple hiding places where they would sneak out to play in, or if one or the other couldn't find them, they had a secret knock [to the beat of one of Eddie's favorite metal songs at the time] that they would use to find each other. But, of course, after Talaney had to move and her parents left, they grew distant, and never really interacted since or until Season 4, where their relationship begins to rekindle.

𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫: 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: Hopper knows Talaney mostly for the expense of her adventures in babysitting the rowdy children of Hawkins. Smashing mailboxes, vandalism... Accidentally chasing their cow and goats into main street.... Yea. But she's grown to know him well because of it! And since her grandmother is a retired Forest Ranger, she's acquainted very well. He's a good older figure to look up to, given Talaney doesn't have her father around in her life. Talaney has to give up/quit babysitting due to some events later on planned for her in the seasons, and Hopper offers her a job as a receptionist for the department- knowing she needs the money and support.

𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Joyce finds Talaney very endearing, and always appreciated her little sweet deliveries and last notice requests for babysitting Will when she had to work late or doubles. Into later seasons, Joyce is a mother figure to Talaney and she finds comfort with her the little peaceful times they have together.

I'll just say with characters like Karen, Claudia, Sue, are on good terms with Talaney since she's been babysitting Mike, Lucas, and Dustin, when they were quite little, and she was in junior high/late elementary. She does of course get a bit more familiar and closer to Joyce considering Talaney gets involved with the whole Upside-Down shenanigans- and fun fact! She never really babysat Will often when she was younger due to the Byers house being very hostile during Joyce and Lonnie's relationship. Who she babysits the most and sometimes still does is Dustin! Of course he isn't much of a fan.

He's still a bit stand-offish with her [because of the situation with Billy through season 3] but she doesn't take it personally.

Ever since the girl moved in and his mother mentioned Talaney watching her, he was always following after her on her bike before she would leave for cheer or school. She would tease him about it, of course, but helped him just muster up the courage himself to talk to her himself.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: Will isn't as close to Talaney as the other guys were due to her not babysitting him as frequently, but when he's older he seems to like her more. He's not very hostile, he's just a bit quieter in the presence of her enthusiasm, but he appreciates her trying her best to make him smile or cheer him up, even if those said attempts are futile.

𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Max was not of fan of Talaney at all when they first met. To her, she was just a very loud, annoying excuse for Billy, her mom and Neil to stay out later and leave her alone at home. Talaney did everything she possibly could to get Max to like her, even giving her some of her old teen magazines she didn't read anymore, but Max was a really hard nut to crack. With enough time to get to know each other, hell, even the situation with Billy leading Talaney to talk to Max about it made them a lot closer, and Max is a lot like a little sister to Talaney, and in return, Max feels like she has a big sister she can turn to for anything.

𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧/𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Much like Max, El took a while to warm up to Talaney. But Talaney tried to help her feel more comfortable in her presence. Talaney acts as a big sister to Eleven especially when seeing her vulnerability, and the aspects she sees herself in. She wants to protect El as much as anyone else in the group does, but that also means she wants to help her experience teen-hood to the fullest, so Talaney loves it when she can take El and Max out with her for girls' trips. Overall, met with resistance and protective walls, Talaney's warmth and patience tense to win people over.

how far does Billy and Talaney's relationship go in the show??

OK this might be a bit longer ramble I hope you don't mind!

To be honest, with how I'm planning things out Canon/story-wise, in the actual events of the series, Billy and Talaney aren't a couple. At least not on screen.

They're relationship is kinda on and off/nothing really official until the end of season two, but something happens between then and season three because by the time s3 starts, Talaney and Billy are broken up. [mentioned often by Steve firstly, and the kids.]

A little [literal] slip at Hawkins pool ends up reuniting them for a bit, and Billy asks her out again for a 'second chance'... Which is a complete lie because that same day, he offers the hookup to Mrs Wheeler.

Talaney doesn't know this, and for personal reasons, Billy wanting to try their relationship again is what she's been looking for. She agrees. She's desperate.

Until she sees him with Heather. And is told that she and him have been skipping/missing shifts at the pool, which we all know is because they are victims to the Mind Flayer, but to Talaney-Anne, it makes her realize that she was played again. And maybe in a panic she runs to Steve- which does give us some good angsty to fluffy comfort.

I really want to have earlier parts of s3 be Talaney and Steve relationship-focused... At least until Talaney is told about what's happening to Billy. I have stated before that Talaney truly does care about Steve, but she tries so hard to fight those feelings even if Steve is very openly feeling the same way, which does cause a little turmoil and pushing away. She can't help but feel that there's still something there for Nancy, and for her, it's Billy.

[And also maybe the fact she's told Steve that she's currently pregnant with Billy's baby in s3 but SHSHSHSHS]

But of course there isn't any time for forgiveness and healing, because by the time it's made clear to us that Billy did care about Talaney, he's dead. And she never gets that reasurrance or solace.

🩷-Talaney dreamt of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader since she was six!

🩷-Two of Talaney's Brothers are seniors in highschool and on the basketball team! Her older two brothers are travelling rodeo Cowboys and her big/eldest sister is a forest ranger in Hawkins.

🩷-She used to do pageants and barrel race/ride show ponies from age 8-13. I'm talking the sparkly cowgirl hats and tassled shirts and chaps- everything.

🩷-Talaney and her siblings live with their grandmother in the more... Rural/red-neck part of Hawkins.

🩷-Talaney is embarrassed by it, but she has a country accent! She tries to cover it up a lot but it slips when she gets mad.

That's how I have seen her but I know she's not my character and I'd like to actually get to know more about what kinda person she's like. Talaney's personality isn't super hyper and loud- but she's still very enthusiastic! She's gotta be being a Cheerleader and all. She's very soft spoken and sweet which is why she's so good with kids and easy to approach. Idk how else to describe her personality other than Disney Princesses like Snow White or Aurora- very curious and day dreamy. She's not goofy or silly... At least not on purpose LOL. She gives off the vibes of an old vintage movie, like Bambie and Fox and The Hound- Vixey is actually a pretty good example of what she acts like! Or maybe Lady from Lady and the Tramp.

Of course she can be loud and excitable when she's in her own element- and that's when she's around family and parties with the red-necks of Hawkins, but even then she's still shy little Talaney, she just likes to swing dance and get out of her bubble more.

Stubborn is her middle name. When she has her mind made and her eye set on something, she isn't budging- or it'll take her a lot of convincing. She's not necessarily competitive, she's not seeking out challenges, but she isn't one to turn down the opportunity either. She won't take anyone's misbehavior or negligence toward herself or her friends and will always stand up for the people she cares for- especially when it comes to the younger kids.

Nancy grew up in Castle Rock on the more rural side of town. She lives with her Father and four older brothers, who own a mechanics shop! Her mother passed just a year or two after Nancy was born. Her mom was sadly a victim to a bad infection due to polio.

And when she's rolling around the age of four is when she meets Ace at a fourth of July party and their parents introduced one another. They've just been attached since that very day... Even if it seems more like Nancy is following him around like a lost puppy while he wants nothing to do with her.

Talaney grew up in Utah for a little time of her life with her parents, four brothers, and big sister. Talaney wears a white sport thigh-high skirt with knee-high stockings topped with little bows on the center of each knee. She wars a dark red sweater with an ivory vine embroidered across the chest. She wears worn out white sneakers as well, but they can sometimes be replaced with leather brown cowboy boots.

𝐌𝐁𝐓𝐈: 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐏. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. Talaney is considered one of the sweetest thing to ever live in Hawkins Indiana. She is a very bubbly and bright girl, always doing her best to make others smile. She almost seems to glow when she enters a room, doing everything in her power to be friends with anyone who's willing to put up with her chattering and her excited rambles. With her bright personality and kind soul, she's a popular student of Hawkins high, being on the cheer team [and a very well received babysitter from the neighborhood parents] she's a familiar and well-known face around town.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭: 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭. Talaney can be very social in the right, comfortable spaces she feels safe in. You tend to see the sweet, light-hearted and bubbly Talaney when Babysitting or with her friends and Cheerleading. She's usually very soft-spoken and quiet when out of her element like parties or large crowds.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭. Talaney is probably one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, always trying to make friends and make everyone feel included. She has a warm presence and welcoming nature that makes her very easy to approach.

-𝐁𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐲. Talaney has all the pep and energy an entire Cheer team could have rolled all into her. She's a very excitable young lady and is always ready to help cheer on the basketball team or simply encourage her loved ones.

-𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲. One thing said about Talaney-Anne is that she's a very kind and caring girl always thinking about others. She has a very soft nature that to a sister-figure, being a safe-space to any and everyone she loves.

-𝐒𝐡𝐲. The true Talaney is a little hard to get to, as you have to break through her deathly walls first. She's a very bashful and sensitive girl, especially when combatted with big personalities or people she hasn't met yet.

-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞. Talaney has a very sympathetic personality. She believes no one is bad for no reason, whether she knows what or why, she thinks everyone who is willing to take it, deserves kindness, and she'll be the one to do so.

-𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. Much like her compassion, she's always considering others. Whether that be taking cakes and cookies to the Byers or watching Dustin for free to help out his mom, she's always thinking about others and how to help them.

𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧. Talaney is extremely strong-willed. When she puts her mind to something, you can't convince her to give up or give in. It does tend to have her clashing heads with a few people, but she isn't one to stand down, especially if it's someone up to no good.

-𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞. Talaney is a victim to being taken advantage of with her kindness, and it leads to a lot of hurt. She tends to put her faith in those who don't exactly deserve it or manipulate it until she realizes it and can't be used as a utlility anymore. It does lead her to be a bit cautious with people, hence her shy nature.

-𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. When Talaney wants things, she wants them quick and taken care of. She usually likes to keep things to herself and get things done by herself as her impatient nature can make her irritated or frustrated when she puts work into other hands.

-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲. Talaney is insecure about herself.

-𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. While it takes a bit to make Talaney blow her lid, once she does, she can act out in bad ways, usually done saying hurtful things she quickly comes to regret. Her temper is something she always tries to control and hates when she seems to just snap and let out anything she's buried deep in her mind.

-𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬. Talaney can be- well- a ditz. She's a very airy kind of girl who sometimes can't tell a joke from an actualy statement- same goes for sarcasm. Her 'innocent' nature renders her the victim to a bit of teasing and hazing from those around her, usually folks like Tommy or Carver.

𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲: Annabelle Morris [Biological Mother], Chadwick Morris [Biological Father], Gladys "Mee-maw" Morris [Biological Grandmother], Eddie Munson [Biological cousin], Wayne Munson [Biological Uncle].

-Talaney was born and lived in Utah in her earlier years of life with her parents Annabelle and Chadwick. Being she was a surprise baby, the young couple weren't expecting a new baby and money grew tighter than it already was. It unfortunately led to the two dropping out of college and moving to Hawkins Indiana, where they lived in a cheap trailer park with the held of Annabelle's brother, Wayne Munson.

From ages two to eight, Talaney spent her life in the trailer park with her slightly older cousin, Eddie Munson. The two were very close growing up, whether it be the loneliness or lack of kids in the trailer park. But while the friendship grew, Talaney's parents and Wayne's relationship was wearing. With Annabelle's poor spending choices and bad work hours and whatever money was left Chadwick used to fix his car or buy his cigarettes and beer, they could barely even afford the trailer park.

It wasn't long before the two and Talaney were kicked out and sent on their way with nowhere to go other than Chadwick's mom, who didn't have the best relationship with the two after they'd ran away to elope in Utah. Talaney didn't even know her grandmother when she was brought to her doorstep and told that she would be staying there with her for a while until her parents could find a home and come back to get her.

Talaney was too young to realize that her parents had left her with her grandmother and ran away, never to come back even till the present day. She didn't know if they did it out of love, for the sake of not raising their daughter in an environment they couldn't give her the best life. Or if it was with full intent of getting rid of the weight of parenthood on their backs that seemed to be constantly draining their wallets.

-𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬: Talaney knew Steve in Junior High vaguely- when she had frizzy hair and big braces. She eventually meets him again more personally during high school when her bike gets a flat on her way back home from Cheer practice and Steve offers her a ride. They talk a bit and catch up as he takes her back home, and from then on, it's when their friendship starts to grow.

 They're relationship starts off a little awkward and shy, but it slowly burns strong around the end events of season two. Both are very protective and looking out for the kids and the danger they all get themselves into, and she's always helping him out with girls or advice, and it's vice versa. Steve begins to grow feelings toward Talaney, but it seems the feelings are one-sided for the moment while she's busy fending of Hawkins newest bad boy, Billy Hargrove, resulting in a competition/love triangle.

[If your OC pairs with Steve, then there doesn't need to be any love triangle/it stays platonic between Steve and Talaney.]

𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬: Oh, where to begin when it comes to this self-proclaimed new King of Hawkins. Talaney starts of... Rather skeptical and avoiding of Billy when he comes around. With her brothers' superstitions, and her cheer friends' warnings about how he was "bad news" she tends to stay far away from Billy... Which he himself isn't the biggest fan of.

She's one of the very few girls in town who seemed so hesitant to even look his way and treated him like he was the plague when she comes over to babysit Max. She was one of the only girls who wasn't falling at his feet for a night with him... He more or less saw it as a challenge to snag a date with her, especially when he takes notice of Harrington getting a little close with her for his liking. Their relationship is a little complicated, but she gets closer to Billy more than others would have, and she grows to care about him more romantically when she can finally see glimpses of the real him hidden behind his cocky facade and anger.

𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Nancy and her relationship started off sort of awkward- they never hated each other for a while there, but I wouldn't say that they didn't dislike one another either. After confrontations between Billy and Steve at Tina's Halloween party, Nancy and Talaney sort of...Kept their distance, respected boundaries and stuff in the group, but of course, when you got to fight off a bunch of crazy alien dogs and tentacles, the universe sort of... Forces you to bond. There on much better terms, and the two can be a total kickass team blowing up Demogorgon faces with shotguns.

𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: The same goes for Johnothan! Again, knew him very vaguely due to Will, but Talaney also knows him because she use to take some cookies and such that her grandmother made to the Byers and Johnathan would answer the door. They'd share some small awkward talk for a minute before she'd head back home. He also noticed how he'd come home toa few wrapped up slices of cake or tray of cookies on the doorstep after Will had gone missing, with that same signature pink bow wrapped up on top. He remembered there'd always be enough to split it evenly into three servings.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐦. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: Chrissy was Talaney's first best friends when she was left with her Grandmother and started school. Chrissy's very warm and kind nature is what inspired Talaney's bubbly and excitable nature she has today. Before, she was quiet, timid, and shy, but Chrissy brought out nothing but the best out of her, and they were close all the way through middle-school, up to high school, where they became cheerleaders together.

𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐲𝐥𝐞. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬:  Talaney isn't exactly sure how to feel about the delivery guy, but he doesn't seem harmful or anything, she's glad he keeps Jonathan's company.

𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐲. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Robin and Talaney bond just how Talaney did with Steve- girl advice. Talaney was very subtle and did her best to sound as if she was dropping simple conversation or gossip, when she was really more giving some hints or offering a little something for Robin to take note of. She was less secretive about the information and gossip when Robin will happily trade her for it with some free ice cream and scoops ahoy when Talaney comes by for her cravings. She'd die for the strawberry cheesecake, okay?

𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩/𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: They were super close while Talaney's parents were still in Hawkins, as her family stayed at the trailer park for a couple months before they couldn't afford it and had to move in with her Mee-maw. Talaney was the only one closest to Eddie's age at the time, and they would play around outside or in the woods. They even had a couple hiding places where they would sneak out to play in, or if one or the other couldn't find them, they had a secret knock [to the beat of one of Eddie's favorite metal songs at the time] that they would use to find each other. But, of course, after Talaney had to move and her parents left, they grew distant, and never really interacted since or until Season 4, where their relationship begins to rekindle.

𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫: 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: Hopper knows Talaney mostly for the expense of her adventures in babysitting the rowdy children of Hawkins. Smashing mailboxes, vandalism... Accidentally chasing their cow and goats into main street.... Yea. But she's grown to know him well because of it! And since her grandmother is a retired Forest Ranger, she's acquainted very well. He's a good older figure to look up to, given Talaney doesn't have her father around in her life. Talaney has to give up/quit babysitting due to some events later on planned for her in the seasons, and Hopper offers her a job as a receptionist for the department- knowing she needs the money and support.

𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Joyce finds Talaney very endearing, and always appreciated her little sweet deliveries and last notice requests for babysitting Will when she had to work late or doubles. Into later seasons, Joyce is a mother figure to Talaney and she finds comfort with her the little peaceful times they have together.

I'll just say with characters like Karen, Claudia, Sue, are on good terms with Talaney since she's been babysitting Mike, Lucas, and Dustin, when they were quite little, and she was in junior high/late elementary. She does of course get a bit more familiar and closer to Joyce considering Talaney gets involved with the whole Upside-Down shenanigans- and fun fact! She never really babysat Will often when she was younger due to the Byers house being very hostile during Joyce and Lonnie's relationship. Who she babysits the most and sometimes still does is Dustin! Of course he isn't much of a fan.

𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫: 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐭, 𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: For a while, Mike sees Talaney more as a nuisance and bother, mostly because she's left to babysit him, so he doesn't run off or sneak out when he was a bit younger. But once she's jumbled up in the chaos of the upside down, they get along a whole lot more. He's still a bit stand-offish with her [because of the situation with Billy through season 3] but she doesn't take it personally.

𝐃𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧: 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Dustin is that of a little cousin to her- she'd even go as far to say he's like the little brother she never had, seeing as she's the only child of her family. He's also the only one of the four boys that she still babysits, it's a little embarrassing for him, but at least she helps him out with girl troubles! [And disposing the body of his demon lizard dog but shhhh]

𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: If you think Dustin is always coming to her for girl advice, Lucas takes first place given she 'babysits' Max. Ever since the girl moved in and his mother mentioned Talaney watching her, he was always following after her on her bike before she would leave for cheer or school. She would tease him about it, of course, but helped him just muster up the courage himself to talk to her himself.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: Will isn't as close to Talaney as the other guys were due to her not babysitting him as frequently, but when he's older he seems to like her more. He's not very hostile, he's just a bit quieter in the presence of her enthusiasm, but he appreciates her trying her best to make him smile or cheer him up, even if those said attempts are futile.

𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Max was not of fan of Talaney at all when they first met. To her, she was just a very loud, annoying excuse for Billy, her mom and Neil to stay out later and leave her alone at home. Talaney did everything she possibly could to get Max to like her, even giving her some of her old teen magazines she didn't read anymore, but Max was a really hard nut to crack. With enough time to get to know each other, hell, even the situation with Billy leading Talaney to talk to Max about it made them a lot closer, and Max is a lot like a little sister to Talaney, and in return, Max feels like she has a big sister she can turn to for anything.

𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧/𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Much like Max, El took a while to warm up to Talaney. But Talaney tried to help her feel more comfortable in her presence. Talaney acts as a big sister to Eleven especially when seeing her vulnerability, and the aspects she sees herself in. She wants to protect El as much as anyone else in the group does, but that also means she wants to help her experience teen-hood to the fullest, so Talaney loves it when she can take El and Max out with her for girls' trips. Overall, met with resistance and protective walls, Talaney's warmth and patience tense to win people over.
