Lol that’s pretty fair considering you don’t know how I roll. I’ve seen dbz, naruto, fma, fairy tail, ygo, inuyasha, demon slayer to name a few and played a widespread of rpgs too XD

Either way ya wanna know what I think about Kurama. My boy Kurama is the definition of ‘if looks could kill’. To be honest he was the first choice for me to portray but that fox is not just clever but he’s freaking smart and I don’t think my dumbass would do him any justice. Granted I wouldn’t have to even try to write as him now cause there’s someone that already does a phenomenal job (always here to compliment the homies). Either way Kurama’s introduction was that of a momma’s boy and I do mean that in a positive light. From what little we knew about him at the start is that Koenma considered him a big deal and he was MORE than willing to sacrifice his life for his mother.

From then on I’d say Kurama had been a sort of ‘mother’ to the group, the person that they can go to if they needed sage advice. I love that he was such a bro to Kuwabara too, the man was an excellent leader. Why I thought so? Well as far as we knew he was a demon that ran into a woman’s womb and turning his mother into a japanese virgin mary. Also given that Hiei mentioned (in the anime) that the reason he looked for Kurama was so he doesn’t have to fight him himself gave us an idea that this man could box and YET he was training a human. Where Hiei gave blunt criticism Kurama offered encouraging positivity. 

You know me, I like that. Ate that up. Let’s not forget the fact that this man is also a ride and die type of person for his homies, man was willing to fight one of the Three Kings all FOR YUSUKE. You know what it’s like to go into a man’s house, go into his fridge, take his drinks and then say ‘bruh if you so as much as breath on this man, you better upheave them hands’. NAH MAN, Kurama is also my GOAT.

NOW let’s mention the brilliance that is the duality of Shuichi and Kurama. LORD watching up to the dark tournament we’ve only heard stories of the legendary bandit and during that one fight WE GOT TO SEE the legendary bandit. Not just aesthetically but on a personal level too. I’m not gonna say Shuichi is a punk because push comes to shove the man will KILL you. But KURAMA!?!?!? HOOOOOOOOO, the shit YOKO KURAMA does really lets you know that he was the one. We let Yoko cook and find out that the enemies were the ingredients. Do we need to remember WHAT he did to the older Toguro?? NAH man, this man is a demon.

I have to be in the mood for them, but I absolutely do love sweets! My favorite candy is Twix, and my favorite dessert is Tiramisu! Honorable mention to the Earl Grey flavored Van Leeuwen ice cream, too!

I realize this might be a slightly odd ask, but… Out of curiosity, what sort of foods do you think Machete would be fond of? And do you think they’d differ noticeably from when he was young vs once he’d grown older?

He's a fussy eater. He rarely eats for pleasure and dislikes being seen dining in company, but attends formal dinners and banquets if invited, since declining without a very good reason would be at best rude and at worst a devastating faux pas. He prefers fowl dishes over red meat and greatly dislikes sea food (which is just peachy since this is the Mediterranean). Pasta seems to be already a well established part of the cuisine at that point, maybe he's into that. For the most of his life he's eaten rather simple foods so he finds bland soups and broths very safe and comforting. Pomegranates are his fruit of choice, he doesn't have much of a sweet tooth but enjoys candied apricots and figs on occasion.

He's exceptionally bad at holding his liquor, and he can't stand the feelings of unpredictability, disorientation, unsafeness and potential loss of control that being intoxicated causes in him. Unfortunately, drinking plain water was very risky and uncommon, it was contaminated and unsanitary more often than not, especially in population centers. Generally the main drinks you'd consume through the day were diluted wine and beer/ale (this was the case for children as well). Machete tends to prefer wine, which he waters down heavily, and sometimes has it flavored with spices, herbs, honey or sugar. Having even a little bit of alcohol in the mix would kill at least a portion of the bacteria (not that the concept was known at the time, people believed many illnesses were caused by tainted air and foul smells, I mean fair enough, if your water is filthy it probably smells bad too).

(Fun fact, apparently Ancient Romans had more or less perfected the art of winemaking but by the Middle Ages a lot of the techniques had been lost. During the Renaissance wine was generally very low quality and the way it was fermented and stored (making the switch from sealed ceramic amphora of the Antiquity to those iconic wooden barrels) meant it would only stay good for a year at best and the taste would start to deteriorate within the first couple of months. Vintage wines weren't a thing, the best stuff was fresh. Apparently European wine was pretty bad for hundreds of years and would only start to improve again around 1800s. Or at least that's what I've gathered, I could be wrong, I'm not a wine expert).

Europe hadn't quite adopted tea yet and he narrowly missed the time coffee began to spread to his corner of the world (I bet he would've loved both of those, with the help of caffeine he could've been twice as much of a jittery sleepless wreck). I've read that people would distill sage and drink the resulting concoction with hot water to create this very tea-like minty drink, that sounds like something he'd like.

He's so cute when he's like this, slightly grumpy and sleepy. He wouldn't say it to Micchans' face... well, not now at least. It's one of those things he's grown to love about Minato, and he's very lucky he was too tired to take away his phone when he took the picture.

Shizuma has given flowers, but not been on the receiving end though he would like to be. He does like hydrangeas and chrysanthemums.

He will eat small amounts of milk chocolate when offered, but it's not really his thing if he's in the mood for sweets. He does prefer white chocolate, but his favorite is ruby chocolate because it has more of an interesting and complex flavor to him.

T   :   TRUE LOVE.   does your muse believe in true love?

Absolutely. He is not-so-secretly hopelessly romantic. He's not going to mention it unless he's drunk though or recently broken up with. But he believes there is true, fated love out there for everyone.

are they associated with a certain color? what color do they wear the most?

I think purple is probably the color that I associate him with the most, but pink is probably the color he wears most, and black too.

favorite animal? why?

Ren is an animal lover, so it's very hard for him to choose a favorite, but if he had to pick, it would be cats. Black cats specifically, because he hates how people treat them due to superstitions. He thinks they deserve just as much love as all the other cats! (Plus, black cats kind of remind him of himself.)

favorite food? least favorite? are they a picky eater? do they have any dietary restrictions?

He always says his favorite food is chocolate covered strawberries, but he honestly loves anything sweet! He just goes with strawberries because they're healthier than candy and sweets. He does try to eat as healthy as he can, but he definitely has a sweet tooth, so it can be hard.

do they smell like anything notable?

It depends. He uses a shampoo that smells like lemongrass (or lemonade), so that's what he often smells like, but he also likes to switch things up sometimes and uses different perfumes depending on what scent he's in the mood for. He almost always smells sweet.

do they have any habits that aren't particularly self-destructive, just maybe odd?

He has a habit of repeating people's questions out loud before answering them. It's not that weird, but people have pointed it out before.

Yeah..money...oh how he wishes for the early days of his school days where he would have just enough time to head into a casino and possibly win the earnings needed for this deal. But it was well enough that he’d pay for this with the money he’s earned through his own hardwork. 

“Hmmm when it comes t’ dough, does 30.000Y work for you??” This wasn’t like a video production or anything so he figured he wouldn’t need to go into much spending, though if the other needed a higher price for his work then that could be arranged..as long as the other doesn’t hike the price out of his range.
