WHERE MY GORE LOVERS AT BABY

I never see appreciation for the bishop purgatory designs anywhere, so. I am here. To change that.

I want to see more people mess around with the designs... I want to see more people including silly headcanons and stylizing them!!! Because the designs are all amazing!! The way each design conveys how the lamb fought them is INCREDIBLE.

The top of Leshys' head is devoid of foliage because the rest of him was hidden underground during his fight. Hekets' throat and stomach are raw and skinned because she's always landing and scraping around hard on stone when she's trying to crush you. Kallamar is covered in a large burn because it's so difficult to get close to him during his fight, implying the best strategy was a long range strategy. Shamuras' front is completely torn open and hanging out because they're running directly at you during the entire fight and that is exactly! Where! You'd! Be! Hitting them!

I'm just really really passionate about the bishop purgatory designs. I want to see more people explore them I think they're so cool.

- the colors are based on his aurora stargazing scene

- he's based on the dream-king freyr, who takes human children in unfortunate circumstances and turns them into fairies that become "their most extraordinary selves" but can never return home. he feels guilty for intervening in their fates, but the ends justify the means to grow the power of his realm :-) he mourns the fact that humans stop dreaming (as in losing their ambitions) as they grow older

(feel like this is the type of thing god gale who's slowly becoming more like mystra would do and convince himself nooo it's completely ethical i'm being benevolent actually)

astarion

- the eyes on the yellow wings are cazador's

- one set of wings are yellow inspired by his longing for the sun

- the flowers are the same flowers on his grave, the garden star-of-Bethlehem

- he's based on the character plumeria, who's the bringer of lustful dreams and is disgusted by the humans who have such indecent desires. (she's one of the humans transformed/kidnapped into a fairy) she puts up a sensual front but hates the way people leer at her. nonetheless she must deliver those vulgar desires as dreams, doing a job she hates :-) all she wants is true compassionate love removed from lust... is this ringing a bell

• Perses was a fraternal twin, older than his brother by 4 hours and 33 minutes.

• Killed by Tamlin on the Spring Court border following his chase after the freshly exiled Lucien Vanserra.

• The only Vanserra brother to have had unwavering loyalty to Beron without an ulterior motive. He was deeply proud of his status and committed to preserving the reputation of his line.

• Upon discovering Lucien’s true parentage, Perses began seeing him as an insult to the Vanserra name, a traitor, and no longer his brother. When Lucien was 10, Perses took him out on a hunt, fully intending to kill him in the forest. Perses, however, was unaware they were being followed by Vermilion, who was suspicious of Perses’s sudden interest in their little brother. Seconds after Perses fired for Lucien’s throat, his seemingly indestructible ash arrow halted mid-air and sizzled into crackling specks of flame. Shocked, Perses blinked, only to find Vermilion leaning against an ancient oak tree, Lucien safely hidden behind. Vermilion attacked then, his fire whip more ruthless than ever, earning Perses the scars around his arms.
