so i've been drafting and jotting shit down as it comes to mind for the multichapter wip, but i've been really stuck on this one plot point since yesterday afternoon that i have to figure out how to implement, so i've been rereading the same sort of chunk of the draft over again since then as i try to figure it out, meaning that i have gotten to face my "i wrote this in two seconds" vernacular repeatedly.

There’s been a pit in Wanda’s stomach for weeks now. Slowly but surely she could see the stress and trauma eating away at her little one.

In and out of the Avengers tower they would go, giving a small quiet goodbye to Wanda and the rest before attending school. Then dragging themselves back home to the tower looking even worse than before.

She knew school had been their biggest stressor. Between the other students, the workload, and the social aspect of it all, it was taking a toll on their mental health.

Wanda didn’t want to push them or make things worse, but her motherly caregiver instincts couldn’t help herself. She made them lunch, giving them a small kiss on the forehead beofre they left and gave them a warm hug when they returned.

But even these small gestures didn’t help the inevitable.

Eventually they started missing classes, then missing days at school. At first Wanda wasn’t too worried, maybe they needed a mental health day just like some take sick days.

But that day turned to days that turned to a week. She knew she had to step in, she couldn’t hold back another minute.

The Avengers went on a mission abroad, leaving her the perfect opportunity for her to take care of Y/N alone.

A small soft knock to their door, “Y/N? Can I come in?”

Silence, then “I…*sniffle*…I thought you were on the mission?”

“I decided I didn’t want to go. Can I come in Angel?”

Angel, a nickname reserved for Y/N when they’re regressed. It holds a special meaning between the two of them.

It already seems to have taken its effect onto Y/N as they softly yet with a broken sob say, “Yes Mama.”

Wanda immediately enters the room to find, Y/N sitting on their bed, knees up to their chest, crying.

“Awww Angel come here,” she takes a seat on the bed and opens her arms to Y/N who gladly reciprocates.

Wanda wraps them in a tight hug, one arm holding them close and tightly against her, the other rubbing their back. All while Y/N cries in their arms.

“I know sweetheart I know, it’s been a lot recently hasn’t it?” She asks getting a small nod.

“You don’t need to worry about a thing right now. It’s time for Mama to take care of her sweet little Angel. Okay? Does that sound good to you?”

Y/N break apart but only slightly to look into Wanda’s eyes. There she can see the change immediately, now she’s got a Little in her arms. They nod their head, looking so desperately in need of some love and affection.

“There’s my sweet Angel.” She smiles, leaning forwards to places a soft kiss to their head.

“Let’s get you changed into some clean comfy clothes and then we’ll see what we’re going to do for the rest of the evening okay?”

Another small nod but this time accompanied with a smile. It’s been a long time since Wanda’s seen them smile.

Without even moving, using her powers she opened their closet and grabbed their favorite pair of pajamas, bringing it over to the two of them. She then helped them change. While she knew their headspace was older, she figured the extra comfort would be welcomed.

And welcomed it was. She ended it by brushing their hair and placing another kiss to their forehead for good measure. “There we are. All fresh and comfy.” She smiled back to them.

She stood from the bed and took their hand in hers, “Now how shall we spending our evening together?” She asks as they walking from Y/N’s room into the tower.

“We could play legos, we could play make believe, we could watch a movie and snuggle up together.” Wanda began listing options to help her little one.

“C-Could we…” Y/N started to say.

“What is it Angel?” She stopped and turned to them, carding a hand through their hair.

“Could we cook together?” Y/N suggested shyly.

Wanda’s face brighten up with the suggestion. “Of course we can Angel. I’d love to.”

They walking into the small kitchen together. Y/N took a seat and the barstool as Wanda rounded the counter, standing across from them.

“Now what dish would you like to cook chef?” She winked.

Y/N smiled, “Can we cook one of your family recipes?”

“Of course we can.” With the flick of her wrist pots and pans started flying out from the cabinets. Then the ingredients started to fly from the fridge.

“We’re going to make a Sokovian dish called Chicken Paprikash. So first I’m going to need you to help Mama cut the vegetables.”

A small cutting board and a plastic knife floated over to where Y/N was sitting on the barstool. “Now, I want you to be extra careful with the knife okay? It’s not that sharp but it could hurt my little Angel.”

“I promise I’ll be careful.” Y/N said, so happy to be helping out.

A green bell paper floats over to Y/N, landing on their cutting board. “Could you cut that up for Mama? I’ll get started on the chicken while you do.”

Y/N eagerly nodded and began working on cutting their bell pepper up. They worked in comfortable silence. Wanda humming a small song while Y/N focused on their work.

“Mama?”

“Yes?” Wanda lifted her head.

“Where’s Papa tonight?” Y/N asked about Vision.

“Papa went on the mission tonight. But I’m sure he will be back later to see his little Angel again. And won’t he be so surprised to learn that you made dinner!”

Y/N gasp and looks back at Wanda beyond excited. “We gotta save him a bowl!!”

“We definitely will. We can’t leave Papa out.” She smiles. Even though Vision couldn’t taste anything nor did he eat, it didn’t mean he wouldn’t appreciate the gesture.

Y/N helps put all the cut vegetables into the soup. Wanda floats over the lid, covering the soup and letting it simmer and cook.

“Now we have to let it cook on its own for a while. But, in the meantime, maybe we could play together or draw?”

“Draw!! Let’s draw something!” Y/N jumped from their seat.

“Go ahead and get your markers while I clean up. I’ll meet you there Angel.” Wanda explained as more things started to float.

After a couple of minutes, Wanda join Y/N at the table, coloring a picture together. Wanda praised every picture, promising to put it on the fridge.

Both of their head lifted to the sound of the timer going off. “The soup!” Y/N smiled.

“It’s all ready,” Wanda smiled back, “Clean off the table while I grab us a bowl.”

Y/N nodded, starting to put their markers and papers away. After they were all cleaned up, Wanda had returned with two bowls.

Together they sat at the table enjoying the meal they made together. With the first spoon full Wanda gasp, “Y/N, I think this is the best chicken Paprikash I’ve ever had!”

Y/N’s whole face lit up. “Really?!”

“Definitely! I couldn’t have made it any better myself. You’re truly a talented cook! You truly are a Maximoff.” She smiles back, seeing the Little beaming under the praise.

They enjoyed their meal together, sitting right beside one another, talking and laughing together. The worries and stresses of school long forgotten.

Vision returned back to the tower late at night. Quietly arriving off the elevator at his shared floor with Wanda and Y/N. The light were off so he assumed they had gone to bed.

That was…until he saw the television still playing in the living room.

He made his way over, to find Wanda and Y/N sound asleep cuddled on the couch together. The tv plays Y/N’s favorite cartoon, and mixed with the low lighting must’ve lulled the two to sleep.

Vision smiled at the sight, happy that Wanda was able to help Y/N. He grabbed their bowls of snacks and their drinks, bringing it back to the kitchen to help clean up while they slept.

He walked over to the fridge, seeing the outside now decorated with new drawings. He opened the door and inside sat a bowl of soup with a note:

Dear Papa,

I made this bowl of soup with Mama today! I saved this bowl especially for you!

brazilian here. i wanna say that, beofre i saw that anon ask talking about swifties worried about taylor’s rep, i didn’t see anybody saying it was taylor’s fault or something similar. HOWEVER. i just read what taylor wrote on her instagram story and it’s baffling. the last thing she ever thought would happen, yet when swifties were (rightfully so, i’ll give them that) ‘fighting’ with scalpers that were buying dozens of tickets to resell for absurdly expensive amounts of money, they (the swifties) were tagging taylor and taylornation and they didn’t say a word. at the moment some swifties were saying that taylor didn’t care, and i agree with them in this situa.

there’s a video of taylor throwing a water bottle to the fans, and while i do appreciate her concern, it’s not enough. she’s taylor swift, she could ask the company (tickets 4 fun) to let people bring their water bottles, she could say ‘i won’t perform in these conditions’ (the company closed the gaps in the structure of the stadium so ‘outsiders’ wouldn’t be able to see/hear, and this made it worse to endure the extreme heat brazil’s going through right now), she could have at least said the name of Ana Clara.

some politicians already stated measures will be taken. but, as someone that’s not exactly a swiftie, but is going to one of her shows here in brazil, i expected a lot more. and again, this isn’t her fault, but she has the power to do something. she could at least have made a better statement.

(also: there weren’t enough people in the medical tents, not enough firefighters, water bottles cost R$10,00 — it’s EXTREMELY expensive —, and the medical staff said some people that were getting sick because of the heat should take some kind of sedative medication — as if people were just anxious because of the show, not because it’s the most extreme heat wave with thermal sensation of ~60°C (which is a lot for ANY region of brazil))

overall just a disaster to get more money out of the fans.

btw this isn’t really anti taylor, i just wanted to clarify things for people that may not know what’s going on here in brazil.

In her ig story Taylor stated that the fan passed away before the show, but it actually happened during cruel summer. Idk if that wrong statement was put out to clear her image or what but it's weird. The stadium was already heated enough but they still didn’t change the script and the stage flames were blazed on, for which like thousands of people needed medical support. They also closed the air vents of the stadium so that fans won't be able to see the show without purchasing the tickets. Like all of these unethical acts happened and it caused someone's life to maximize their profit, and taylor still didn’t acknowledge the management's fault or didn’t call out the event organizer. I think she's heartbroken but at the end of the day she will fly on her private jet just to spend a weekend in nyc and provide her fair share of impact in global warming.

Fashion Design

In line with my group’s fashion design moodboard, I decided to combine the trend of cargo pants and ripped jeans for my design which was going to be a 2022 update on both trends. 

Design Process

From what I’ve noticed, statement clothing pieces has become a trend in today’s time. Eye catching patterns, asymmetrical pieces, visual illusions, and clothes with a message have become popular and are made to really draw your attention. The entire front of one of the pant legs on my design is completely covered in graffiti like print while the back was designed to to emphasize the meesage “we all bleed the same”. The giant rip with red threads is meant to resemble a wound and the loose threads around the heart on the other back pocket are there to make it look like it’s bleeding. Another update on this design is that it’s unisex, any gender can wear it.

Initially the message and design on the front leg was very different. It was originally going to be “I am not colored” paired with “we all bleed the same in the back” as a reference to how the mere fact that non-white people are called “people of color”, which implies that POCs are a minority and are thus treated as such. My design was also inspired by the “say their names” dress designed by Howie B for drag queen Symone on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

While I still stand by that message, I was advised to make my design more contemporary; to make it so that it would really scream 2020′s. With only 2 years into the decade, so much has already happened so this time I included several references to recent events which still relate to the message “We all bleed the same”. 

Details

The MeToo movement took off in 2017 but has since greatly influenced the way women are treated, how they are portrayed in the media, and is responsible for the downfall of powerful men who have treated women poorly. 

“Stefania” is a song by the Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The song was actually dedicated to the lead man’s mother but given the context, several Ukrainians really resonated with the song as they saw Ukraine, their country, as their mother. 

The little face mask above is also a nod to the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

“Radikal Magmahal” is a statement popularized during the campaign of former Vice President of the Philippines Leni Robredo for presidency in the Philippine national elections of 2022. Her rallies have made history for the amount of people that were present at each of them, as well as the amount of unpaid effort that supporters put in to them. 

“Never Again” was also popularized during the campaign season beofre the national elections. It refers to the inhumane Martial law under former president Ferdinand Marcos, whose son ran against Robredo for president during the elections. I also purposefully did not give the statement any fun designs similar to everything else on the front leg to create visual contrast with ‘Radikal Magmahal”.

“Love Wins” was a viral tag on Twitter after same sex marriage became legal for the first time in the USA and the statement has stuck ever since. While there’s still a long way to go before it can be said that members of the LGBTQ+ community are treated equally in the world, they are more celebrated and welcomed now than they have ever been before. There’s also a rainbow in reference to gay pride. 

Lastly, everything in front is connected to the message in the back which says “we all bleed the same” in a sense that all of us are human and should not be treated as less than no matter the our differences.

anyways, my beautiful boy, lets talk about that magic that made him able to save ryan. despite seeming as not so special (ryan is jacked and aster aeliana is related to mr. aeliana), connor has a special power due to a book. what power you may wonder? FUCKING DEATH MAGIC. he uses it very logically (example: decayed roof to let light in to lead rats away) if ever, considering how they didnt really have like any fights happen. in fact, id say he uses it the least! however, every time he uses it, it definately makes an impact, and i think that says a lot about his character.

from what i know, connor seeked out this kind of magic because of his ill brother. he wanted to CONTROL DEATH to help his brother. i dont know about you, but that kind of love, of trying to control what is seen as a natural and an unstoppable force, makes an impact.

the kind of love where your whole morality shifts as though something in you dies, to go agsinst parental teachings and lose your strong morality and intregity in the process, that makes an impact.

even just plot wise, like the destroying the inside of that machine so the investigators couldnt stop the big game, that would make an impact.

like i said, each time connor uses the death magic (which isnt much by the way) it makes an impact like a changing the game tag. however, hes never used it to kill someone. yes, he murdered several rats, but all the actors were left alive. the roof couldnt die because it isnt alive. he got the death magic to make sure his borther DIDNT die!

its also interesting to see him paired up with aster and ryan of all people. ryan joins in on calling him "con-nerd" yet they still hang out, with their complete opposites of personality. and aster, whos apparently the daughter of the sun (ask me about my theory on her and you wont get me to stfu lmao) and has powers related to light and life, while death is associated with darkness and shit. not to mention, aster has used her powers directly on people to hurt them, so its as though she could be thought of as "evil" or smth like that (im only saying it cause it makes the comparisons work even better) (also example: she used heat metal on a flute still in a mans mouth).

asters opposite in magic, ryans opposite in personality, and yet who else would connor befriend?

and hes definately made impacts on his friends! aster at the beginning was quite shy when inside she was wild, and connor helped her let it out. ryan literally was having an identity crisis and he kinda just showed ryan that he cared for him being himself throughout the story (if im reading them wrong i literally writing this beofre i head to school so yeah)

connor deserves to be talked about more because by the goddesses does he make an impact

I’m watching the Editor Wilbur ARG videos and he said in reference to Minecraft, “You don’t rely on a tired medium to create timeless art,” and the Dream SMP is literally using Minecraft as a medium for telling an incredible story laksdjflakd

I’ve literally had a post at the back of my for weeks mind that goes “People look at the Dream SMP the wrong way: it’s not a Minecraft roleplay that happened to get really good. It’s a really good story that happened to be told through Minecraft. If it was told any other way, it would be different, yes, but it’s not a Minecraft thing first and foremost but a story thing first and foremost.”

hi everyone i wanted to thank u all cause i just hit 500 followers and wanted to give u guys a lil something but didn’t know what. i have no cc making talent, i can’t recolor, i’m poor, i don’t like my sims.. so since i’m an editing blog i decided to make a tut !

i’m well aware that i’m not the best at editing but i think that i can at least help beginners !  of course if you have a lot of editing experience i’m not sure i can help at all. (also i don’t recommend looking at the tut on mobile. it was made on computer for computer.)
