Can - "Halleluhwah" From the album Tago Mago (February 1971)
Last song scrobbled from iTunes at Last.fm
Until the vocals come in, and at certain points after, this is more like an instrumental Nine Inch Nails track than anything else

Can — "Oh Yeah" from Tago Mago (1971)
Can is one of those bands that completely rewired my brain the first time I heard them resulting in a clear before/after cleavage in my tastes and inclinations. I was sixteen or seventeen and in the middle of a heavy prog-rock phase and then after hearing after Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi all those bands suddenly seemed boring (with the exception of '73-'74 King Crimson and Van der Graaf Generator). I had no idea you could do THAT.
Anyway here's one of my favourite videos of all time a bunch of NYC B-boys breaking to "Vitamin C".

Having one of those days where if I didn’t have noise cancelling headphones and all the borderline unlistenable discordant prog rock I could get my stupid little mitts on well. I shan’t say. But it’d be so so tragic and melodramatic
