Americans are getting so fucking unbelievably weird about sex Jesus Christ. I'm seeing people in cptsd communities asking if they have complex trauma from looking at porn when they were ten. There's been this war between sex and violence in the mind of Americans for so long. Violence has won so consistently and so handily that sex has become not just violence, but the worst violence. Something spiritually violent by its very occurrence. I guess it makes sense. To not go insane living in such a senselessly brutal and cruel civilization you'd have to reject the idea that people can just make each other feel good. Sex is the ultimate, animal, biomechanical expression of that. So it's necessary to categorize that as violence to justify all other cruelties. I went to the walk-in clinic yesterday morning and the doctor took one look in my ear and was horrified, "It's so swollen! That must hurt a lot!" (you have to imagine this being said in a really awesome Nigerian accent, she was a really chill and nice doctor). Asked me if I remembered what my doctor had put me on last time and prescribed the same. Ten more days of antibiotics, whooo.

Fell asleep on heatpad, woke up in extreme amount of pain. Take advil go back to bed.

My mom went through some of my old medical files last night so that I'd have them on hand when I hit up the walk-in clinic in the morning. I forgot that I had a second cellulitis infection in the right ear canal in 2009 after the one I had in both ear canals in 2007 that landed me in hospital. So counting the one I am battling currently, this is three cellulitis infections in my ears, two on my feet, and one on my thigh. If I ever doubt that I have hella health problems and that my immune system is hella fucked, please remind me of this fact.
