the thing I love about the barbie movie hype is that it’s revealing how people played with barbies when they were a kid. I only had Barbies so typically I chose the lesbian affairs and murder plotting route, but if I was at a friend’s house and they had a Ken, I’d often go bisexual marital troubles. hey sound off how you played with your barbies I’m curious now

What’s up with how the dunmeshi fandom just lies about this kind of stuff all the time. It is easily confirmable information that it was a monthly series, something incredibly common in the industry.

A not weekly magazine schedule is literally common !! Especially in the seinen shoujo and josei demographics, sometimes monthly, sometimes biweekly, sometimes every two months, sometimes seasonal! Please stop lying about how Dunmeshi was some special unique creation that defies all standards of manga just to hype it up because it is so clear that every single one of these comparisons is centered around Weekly Shonen Jump (and understand that SJ has many magazines under its brand that are monthly or semimonthly). Not everything is WSJ and it needs to stop being the only point of reference in conversations like this 🤧

#I think one of the great strengths of this adaptation is the way it shows that their relationship isn’t totally one sided #its not just Knightley scolding Emma all the time and her benefitting from his advice and wisdom #like he gets to be himself with her in a way we don’t see him be with other characters #like I think she’s the only character he really complains to?? Other than maybe a few Mrs Weston scenes #But those are more sensible and dignified even than this#where he’s just roasting Frank for being a dumb baby in front of her #and she’s just rolling her eyes and laughing like we know we get it Frank IS a baby #‘how pleasant to be absent but in the thoughts of everyone’ is knightley’s version of a severe diss #and the part where they’re shit talking Elton at the ball and laughing together #and how he comes right over to Emma to complain about the gift for Jane being impractical #he’s just like ‘I have a bitchy thought and I need to tell my best friend or I’LL DIE’ #and I think that’s extremely sexy of him honestly #also yes per Bethany’s tags their costumes do indeed match and yes that is also sexy of them #she could be mistress of this estate too in case you were wondering 💖 (@sesamestreep's tags)

I think people should be allowed to sleep in the same bed in a non sexual and non romantic way. I think cuddles can happen non sexually and non romantically. I think most acts of affection are non sexual and non romantic until you make it sexual or romantic (other than the obvious things like actual sex is sexual)
