AU inspired by TADC:

Virgil (who is like Pomni) was created as a gray/neutral side and stayed like that for many years until he got pulled into the dark side (the subconscious, like the digital circus) and was introduced to Janus (who is like Caine) and the other dark sides (who are like the other circus members) after he started appearing in videos

This is because in the videos he was despicted as a villain which made Thomas see him as darker, which eventually converted him to dark, causing the above. When trapped in the subconscious he can't get to Thomas anymore and can no longer interact with the light sides or be in videos, while Thomas and the lights are happy about this at first, when he doesn't appear for months on end (and Thomas' anxiety is progressively getting worse and worse) they become worried and try to search for him

In this, unlike in TADC where no one can remember their names when they enter, Virgil is the only one who can't remember his name as a kind of (unwarranted) punishment for being so hesitant to tell his name to the light sides and Thomas, so he goes by a moniker there until when/if he escapes

TADC POMNI(?) AU IDEA

TW: Suicide Kinda Underverse-esque but basically what if TADC happened but Pomni was super depressed, suicidal and/or emo and basically monotonously accepted everything that was happening to her, thinking it was all a hallucination (which it probably is lol) and the gang spends 1/2 of their time trying to convince her they're real and the other half trying to understand just why she's like this when she herself doesn't remember. What do you guys think? I kinda like it but I'm worried about the whole "suicide" thing being taken the wrong way. I really don't like playing this card, but I mean... I myself have attempted suicide before, so would I really be exploiting it as a concept if I go through with this au?? Me and (AU) Pomni definitely were suicidal for different reasons, but we still did it. I dunno, if you guys like the Idea, lmk and I'll make SadPomni a thing TW: Suicide
