I have reached a point in my life, especially after the traumatic high stress legal shit I went through this last year at the hands of my own mother, that I do not give a flying fuck anymore about how people perceive me. If you do not respect me, if you try to control me, if you’re fake as fuck, I will literally call you the fuck out and let you have it. I do not have the time or energy anymore. My childhood into my young adult years was spent people pleasing and putting myself in harms way. I’m done. I had so much peace and joy robbed from me this last year. So much. That part of reclaiming my power is not taking shit from people that I know do not genuinely have my best interests at heart. I will let myself be angry, and I will let myself come across as even mean at times. I don’t care. I am protecting my energy and my mental health forever more. No more manipulative and fake and entitlement bullshit. Bye bye !!!! Can’t do it !! My circle of friends that I consider family, is so tiny, it doesn’t even make a circle, but that is alright with me because I know they are folks who meet me with love, compassion, integrity, and accountability. That’s the shit I wanna be surrounded with and the characteristics I hold myself to. And I will hold those around me to that as well.
