Holy shit I just realized.
Botw gave us the trials the Champions went through to become pilots and NO ONE has written a Miphlink fic of Mipha doing the trials as Link cheers her on in his quiet repressed ways 😭

Danny and his english class go feral
So danny and all of his English class are going to gothem as a graduateing feild trip
By this point in time everyone knows danny is phantom, danny knowes everyone knows, all of amity knowes
But because of the way the government reacted to the ghosts, ignoring the problem and just sending in people who want to commit genocide.. they've made the decision they dont need the government
At this point, danny English class is very protective of eachother
Dash and the a-listers apologised
Once Wes was proven right, he was told of what would happen to danny should outsiders find out about him and apologised
Mikey and the neards have gotten more confident dew to the a-listers and in return thwy help dash and kwan with their grades
The point is, their ALL protective, and because danny is the most protective of all once he heard they were going to gothem he handed out fenton brand wepons like candy
They were all enjoying it so far, it was getting annoying whenever dash or kwan had to knock out a few petty criminals but its going fine...
Until the riddler and penguin decided to make a hostages situation out of them
.
.
.
When batman arrived to a hostage situation he was expecting crying and scared kids, especially after learning they were teenagers from out of town...
What he walked in on was this
Paulina and star making matching scratching posts out of a pair of goons
Wes was full body slamming people left, right and center, your in his way your getting knocked over
Sam was following wes and after he knocked them over she used the fenton-anti-asshole-tazer on them
Tucker was sitting on a chandler and making sure all the coms were disconnected...and recording everything
Mickey ran up to dash yelled "FOOTBALL ME" and dash picked him up like a foorball, threw him several feet in the air where he proceeded to tackel and claw penguin
Danny was fist fighting the riddler while distroying him with banter
Mr.Lancer had a fuckin fenton-lighsaber and was changing from obi-wan canoby and darth vader impressions
.
.
.
Batman went out side for a good 30 minutes trying to processes what he just saw, unfortunately leaving the goons the riddler and penguin to the mercy of feral, overprotective angry amity parkers
.
.
.
When batman walked in later Tucker yelled "THE CONTROLL ISSUE FURRIE IS HERE"
After he yelled that everyone froze
Danny was choking out the riddler
Mickey was holding the fenton-ecto gun at penguin
Dash was mid punch
Kwan was using fenton-sneakers to walk on the roof and was stringing up goons
Stat was using the fenton-lipsick gun to blast people
Paulina was using the fenton-glitter nunchucks with star as backup
Wes was putting a goon in a headlock
Sam was using fenton-thorn gloves to distroy all wepons the goons were using
And Mr.lancer was mid darth vader impersonation
And they all stopped their feralness to stare at him, it went from chaos to silence
Even the goon, riddler and penguin were silent waiting to see WTF was about to happen
And batman had a feeling life was about to get more complicated

Pressure to perform (academically, in relationships or job-wise) will ruin your whole life, especially if you are inheriting that from your parents. It most always leads to depression, burnout, anxiety and at some point probably a traumatic event where things have to change and you fail in some type of way. When tackeling a difficult task like school, slow and steady wins the game. Intervalls of work and relaxation, self care and a support system that comforts you. The more you are obsessed with success the more toxic things get and toxic is not a state that is doable long-term. If you are sensitive & vulnerable, don't put yourself in high pressure environments. ♥︎

Heyyy can you please write Hector x Reader were reader is a team mates little sister and her and Hector hate each other but then he gets a little hurt (like in the match against athletic club. He doesn’t get injured just a little hurt.) and then she’s all worried about him and then they confess their feelings to each other??
Hector Fort: playing with fire
Tumblr media
pairing: hector fort x reader
warnings: none
❝My mom told me everyday to be careful of men. Because love is like playing with fire, it can get you hurt. My mom might be right, because when I see you my heart burns.❞
I’m sitting here alone and bored while my brother Joao Felix is training with the rest of the team. I’m assuming they’re done now since I see Joao, Lamine, Hector and Marc walk over. ‘Hi y/n.’ my brother says and I smile at him. I see Hector standing next to me and my smile fades.
‘No need for you to be so bratty about it.’ He says and I roll my eyes. He’s.. quite attractive- but then again so annoying. I don’t get how one person can always get on my nerves.
‘Roll your eyes further, hope they get stuck.’ He says and Marc says ‘If you want to see her roll her eyes you might need to do it in a less public place.’ Before I can even say anything I hear Joao say ‘Okay, this is our queue to go.. let’s go Y/n.’ and he walks away so I follow him.
We arrived at our families house and I sit on the couch. ‘You two would be cute together, you know.’ Joao jokingly says. I roll my eyes and say ‘You would look very cute in a casket, you know.’ and I can hear him laugh.
‘Are you still coming to the match tonight?’ Joao asks me and I nod yes. Whenever they have a home game I come with him to support him. We really like to annoy eachother but we’re also very supportive of eachother.
big time skip
It’s now saturday night, match time. The match started 1 minute ago and Guruzeta scored..
About 25 minutes later Lewandowski luckily scored and 10 minutes later Lamine scored!
Just when i’m having faith in today’s match I see Sancet scoring in the 49th minute making it 2-2.
5 minutes later I see Hector with the ball and Williams running towards him. Williams lightly tackels Hector but I can still see he’s a bit hurt. I feel a sense of worry grow inside of me. I know i’m supposed to hate him.. but I can’t help but like him.
Now its the end of the match, Barcelona lost 4-2.
I finally see Joao and the rest but I can’t help but walk towards Hector as I see he’s still a little hurt. ‘Are you okay? Did it hurt a lot? Are you still hurt?’ I say worriedly. He looks at me, smiles and says ‘Are you worried about me?’. I roll my eyes and say ‘Just answer my question.’
‘Im fine, don’t worry about it. Why do you care though?’ He says. I don’t know what to say so as usual, I just decide to roll my eyes. After we did that I accidentally make eye contact. I expected him to look away yet he didn’t.
We kept holding eye contact and there grew a certain tension. ‘Y/n? Why were you worried.’ he asks me and I can feel myself getting stressed. ‘I… ehm. Well I guess I sort of- maybe- have like.. well I think you are a tiny bit sweet and attractive.’ I accidentally say. I need to learn how to think before I act.
He smiles and says ‘Think? Or know? Because if you know then I might have to say something to you.’ i’m a bit confused now, so I say ‘Then tell me what it is.’ He replies ‘I think you are sweet and attractive too.’ Okay now im reaally confused.. but also a bit happy I guess? I can’t help but smile at his words and then I hear him say ‘Would you like to maybe go on a date with me?’ okay now my smile grew a bit bigger and I say ‘Yes.’ to him!
I can see Joao walking over to us and he says ‘What happened? Thought you two hated eachother.’ Now me and Hector look at eachother and smile.
A/n: William Shakespeare would be so upset if he read this..

I cannot let this show go without writing my goodbyes... Deep Night Final EP
Tumblr media
Deep night was everything and more. It was a show that was made with insane love, thought and care and it fucking shows. That loves shines through the screen and it is GUARANTEED to warm your cold dead heart. Cheewin has always made his shows a bit more grounded, a bit more queer, a bit more real. Since YYY you can just tell there's someone in the crew that understands queer experience and this was it again. The good parts, the sad parts, the struggle without exploting it for pity. It showcased confusion and acceptance and love and love and love. So many different kinds of love.
Wela and Khemtid
Tumblr media
These two developed so beautifully, from people who misunderstood eachother, to people who felt attracted to each other but still didn't get it, to people who listened, apologized, leaned on, supported, loved, cared for eachother. Khemtid's enchantment with wela blossomed after they fought about Wela's job, he realized that acceptance was the better route to take and he just worked hard to get it right, to make up for it, to help. Wela at the same time tried so hard as well to understand Khem's feelings, making it easier for them to reach the middle ground. He worked so hard with Khem to keep the club afloat, he was never mean to his coworkers, he carried the whole world on his back and still stood proud. They went from strangers to these two adorable dorks who hold hands and smile while kissing. I'm sorry but Khemtid smiling like he just won the world while giving his injured bboyfriend a handjob at the back of the club made my heart burn. That's complicity and partnership and mischief and intimacy. They stand on equal ground and that's so meaningful to me.
Then we have these three dorks
Tumblr media
The true rivals to lovers. I talked about this in my previous Deep Night post but it was brilliant. Their storyline developed so subtly and naturally I cried last week. The way Japan and Ken's love bloomed out of love for Seiji... like it's not that they're just dating Seiji, they're dating eachother and that comes from a trust that developed from and understanding, that grew from care into desire. Last week's episode showing Japan as the center of his fantasy showed that, Japan is also attracted to Ken, and Ken's heart has melted for Japan as well, unknowingly. The talk they had was so necessary, so respectful and rooted on concern and an actual attempt to build something that left no one out. Seriously the way they're sitting in the end, with Ken brushing Japans hand, the way Japan held Ken's hand and brought him into the hug to welcome him, to shelter him. I love that it wasn't fetishized. (Because we've tackeled threesomes before in other shows but not romantic love) I love them, they love each other, this is healing.
Freya and Meiji
Tumblr media
They are EVERYTHING. Honestly the role of women, specifically queer women in queer spaces has been overlooked for way too long. They take on the role of caring, protecting and supporting the whole club, the boys themselves and themselves. The fact that Freya's character was divorced and was constantly under attack from her ex-husbands family now existing with a same-sex partner was so complex yet beautifuly handled. Meiji was not just some random chic they threw in to gay it up, she was important to Freya, she helped at the club, she wasn't much around but when she was on screen she was Freya's rock. The talk on age... bro that shook me to the bone. Media is so focused on youth their questioning was so valid and so painful to watch... but it healed. Fuck I'm crying watching this. Everyone deserves to be loved by THEMSELVES.
Khem and Freya
Tumblr media
gET TF OUT I WANT TO BE ALONE this mother-son relationship was amazing. Both characters grew so much out of love for each other I want to swallow a shotgun. The was it was alway Freya trying to gain Khemtids approval was so heartbreaking, and watching Khemtid LEARN to accept and love his mom, accept and love the club, accept and love the role they play... fuck. FUCK FUCK FUCK
Also we cannot forget Dai
Tumblr media
I don't even have words to explain how great this character was. Outfits on point, personality strong and unmoving, loud and authentic and accepted and part of everything and capable and necessary and just EVERYTHING. And the fact that Dai was perceived as a potential love interest for Freya without it being a joke or mockery was gold. Apart from that, all of these characters and storylines are interwoven in a net of complexity, social norms, real struggles but also real coping mechanisms. I also want to LOUDLY RECOGNIZE the work put into it, as they all worked hard to actually get on stage and perform acrobatics like their characters. There was just so much attention to detail and to making things right I want to cry just thinking about it. Please please please if you havent... Watch it. It may not be revolutionary but it's perfect to me. Deep night is a very queer show that decided to open a lot of wounds just to let them heal properly. THANK YOU DEEP NIGHT. I expected nothing from you and you're now part of me.

Soap x gn reader
Warning
Part 2, angst, no gore details, reader dies, soap kissed ur cheek like once, made to rewrite MWIII, Makarov is readers brother, but reader is in the TF141, price is swichted with soap when he was supossed to die, maybe part 1?, i wrote this while listening to babymetal, and in class
Summary
Soap got saved by you. At what costs?
Tumblr media
No.
No.
No.
Thats what played in soap mind as he crawled over to you. Holding your body like its delicate glass about to break, he laid his head to your heart.
Silence.
Still, he tried to cover your wound with hs jacket. Before Price grabbed his shoulder gently, shaking his head when Soap looked up at him. He slumped and tried to hold back his tears. I mean, hes still a soldier afterall.
how did this even happen?
Tumblr media
Makarov, your own blood. Stood infront of your dearest. Soap. Your hands were already covered in the blood from tens of Konni soldiers. Without thinking your grabbed your pocket knife strapped to your thigh (since your gun was thrown away when you were fighting off a Konni soldier.) You lounged at your brother. He held your hand holding your knife back, your other holding your weight up. Untill a soldier pointed his gun and fired. Soap tackeled at shot them himself. But the damage was already done. When soap looked back he saw that Makarov already threw you off himself and ran.
Tumblr media
He put his hand on your stomach. Not caring about the blood staning his hands. He grabbed your dog tags and gently undid the chain. he stuffed it in his pocket and laid one last kiss on your almost warm cheek. He stood up and wachted as the medics wheeled you away into the medic truck. Price gave an reasuring rub on his shoulder and walked away to give him some space.

Dc x dp idea 19
Danny outs himself and Vlad to Bruce Wayne at a gala. Why because he thinks Bruce is Batman’s sugar daddy. Best way to get a message to him obviously. Turns out he didn’t have to Jazz was at the gala and punched Vlad straight in the face.
So vlad finally gives up on Maddie. Maybe she found out he was half ghost and tried to kill him not really too important. Vlad is a sore loser
Meaning he kills Maddie, jack, and Danny’s friends to isolate him. Jazz is away at Gotham U and Vlad doesn’t bother to check that everyone was there when he killed them.
Danny is trapped at vlad manors like how sam was with the tiara. Anyone who may not know or recall the episode a bs princess contest was hosted sam won, weirdo with a castle (much like vlad) decided to trap her with a magic crown. She just couldn’t leave the castle (now like Danny)
Jazz thinks Danny died in the explosion. Vlad paid the custody lawyers and cops hush money as to not alert anyone Danny was alive. He needed to keep his little badger “safe”.
Vlad now has no one to stop him and has his perfect son in his grasps. He turns to world domination.
Time passes and word of Vlads adoptive son gets out. Both get invited to many galas. Danny has no say in anything and is just trying to get the damn watch off. Vlad only agree to go to the Wayne’s gala as he had never been invited before.
After a few safety precautions. Sending his ghost animals ahead to essentially hold the rich hostage. Danny would behave if it meant keep others safe after all. So the watch gets taken off for a shocker and way to prevent him from using his powers for the trip to Gotham.
Danny is just thinking of Tucker’s theory that Bruce is Batman’s sugar daddy. Sam just thought he was Batman.
So Danny writes a note addressed to Bruce.
Basically says hey vlad is plasmius. He’s a fruitloop killed my family and friends to adopt me. Please help. Btw vlad rigged the gala with ghost in case i tried anything. He has me and them connected to the totally secret remote in his front pocket. Shocks me and makes the animals attack. Don’t be mean to them. He experimented on my animal friends. So like don’t be suspicious and please pass this on to batman. Pretty sure your his sugar daddy Hence the note to you.
He does manage to pass the note on. Bruce and his kids all kinda look at him in shock.
Only then does jazz walk in with some dude with a white streak. She looked at him then vlad. Then him again. Vlad was sweating. Danny was grinning.
She then immediately decks him and tackels vlad. All while Bruce reads the note.
Dick and Jason are now involved. Danny is yelling about the remote. It goes flying Damian catches it. The ghost animals appear. Danny tells which button to click. Damian frees the ghost animals and danny from there collars or in Danny’s case watch.

....................................
When Donnie sent you an obviously hurried text to get down to the Lair as soon as possible, you'd assumed he needed help in the lab.
While it was rare for him to ask you for help with his projects, (you usually just sat around and watched him work) it did happen sometimes.
You arrived at the manhole cover in the alley beside your apartment, but it was already lifted off to the side...
Weird.
Oh well, less work for you.
You climbed down the old ladder into the sewers, following your usual path to the entrance of the Lair.
Why the heck was it so dark? You could hardly see a thing as you entered the Hamato's home.
"Hello?" You called quietly, your phone light on whilst you attempted to find a light switch, "Donnie-?"
"SURPRISE!!"
The lights suddenly flicked on, and all your friends jumped out from behind the furniture, which totally didn't scare you. Nope.
"Wha- what's all this?" You asked, gesturing to the decorations strewn across the Lair.
Donnie took your hands and pressed a quick kiss to your cheek, "Happy birthday, my darling. You mentioned that you wouldn't have time to throw a party, but I did so.. Do you.. like it?" he asks nervously.
"Like it? Donnie it's amazing! Thank you thank you thank you!" You respond with a small laugh, giving him a kiss in between each 'thank you'.
You watched in amusment as his face flushed, but before your conversation could continue Mikey tackeled you in a tight hug, grinning up at you, "Happy birthday! I made all your favorites!"
Mikey grabs your hand and tugs you away from your boyfriend into the kitchen to show off all the hard work he'd put in to making all your favorite foods.
You hugged the youngest turtle tightly, "Oh my gosh, Mikey that's amazing! It smells so good already!"
Mikey smiled proudly, before Donnie pulled you back to where the party was happening. After hours of spending time with everyone, you and Donnie eventually retired to his room for some quiet time.
All of your gifts sitting on his desk (A bracelet from April, your favorite Jupiter Jim movie on dvd from Leo, an amazing family portrait from Mikey, and finally, a yellow sweater with lavender plant designs stitched into the sleeves made and gifted to you by Raph.)
"Did you have fun?" Donnie asks softly, his arms wrapped tight around you as he pulls you closer.
"I had so much fun. Thank you so much, this is definitly the best birthday ever." You reply, smiling brightly.
"Ever, huh?" He repeats, amused, "I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was perfectly planned on my part."
"Yes it was." You agree, watching him puff up at the praise, "It was perfect."
Donnie grins, kissing you softly then pulling thr blanket higher around the two of you, "I love you, my dearest, happy birthday."
"I love you too, darling."
....................................
AND DONE!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIYAH!!!! I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST DAY EVER!!! <3

V.AQUAMARINE
CHAPTER 5: WATER OF THE WOMB
JEON WONWOO X READER
WORDS: 8k+
GENRE: ARRANGE CONTRACT MARRIAGE AU! ENEMIES TO LOVERS!
Angst, Fluff, Smut (Well He does kiss her wrist)
A/N: I am back! (That's it, that's all I want to say)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There is something about time, no matter how much it changes. Nothing changes at all. You sat in the car, the lush greenery passing by as your driver navigated the luscious surroundings. Sipping coffee from your tumbler, you gazed out of the window, your mind drifting to the past month, filled heavy emotions. It has been a month since you, Wonwoo, and Noel had moved into the tranquil Serene Villa, and yet a heavy feeling lingering in your heart as you recalled a pivotal dinner you had organized for yours and Wonwoo's parents.
As the memory played vividly in your mind, you shivered slightly. Noel's nanny had brought him out, and he had been timid, taking refuge behind you. Your parents recognized him immediately, their eyes widening in disbelief.
Your Mother's voice echoed with a mix of astonishment and concern, "Y/N, what's going on?"
You took a deep breath, realizing there was no turning back.
With gentle but resolute tone "This is Noel, Noella and Joshua's son"
"Didn't you say he died 5 years ago?'' Her eyes moving from the boy and then at you.
A heavy silence hung in the air as your parents absorbed the shocking revelation. You gestured Tham, His nanny to take him to his room.
Your Mother asked again softly "Y/N, why did you keep this from us? Was it because you thought we weren't trustworthy enough?"
You attempted to reason with them, but the disappointment and sadness were overwhelming, and they left, unable to process the profound revelation.
Now it was Wonwoo's parents turn to question him. Wonwoo's mother, in particular, was taken aback.
Wonwoo's Mother's face was painted in disbelief "Do you realize what you're saying? You both are newly weds, and there is still time. I understand your wife may want to care for the child, but you didn't have to go this far and adopt him, Wonwoo."
Wonwoo just exhaled and said firmly, "It was our mutual decision to adopt him."
Without waiting for him to complete she turned addressing you"Why didn't you tell me? Y/N, darling, please forgive me for asking, I can't understand you both are young and there are other options i mean?" She got out of her scene and grabbed your hand, "The science have advanced so much there are different ways to tackel this issue, and we were not even pressuring you both to have kids now, when you both are ready... Then why?''
The room fell into an uneasy hush.
Wonwoo's cautioning voice filling the room "I don't think my wife is answerable to that question."
but she insisted "Why is she not? She is answerable to all of my questions that concern my son and his future. I will not accept this; I will never accept it."
"What I don't understand is what is the issue if we don't want to have kids of our own, rather adopt.'' his voice was gentle, but the statement stern. guilt weigh on your heart that, you're causing a rift between him and his parents. Notwithstanding the fact that Wonwoo was going to be present part of Noel's life for only five years, Its not that long but it is a Long time.
You felt the urge to step up but Wonwoo shook his head a silent message that he will handle this.
She turned to Wonwoo's father, expecting him to support her.
Wonwoo's Father who was silent the whole time caught his wife gaze "Because at the end of the day blood is blood and a stranger is stranger"
His words made your heart shatter, and this statement did not sit right with Wonwoo as well, you could feel the heat radiating from his body from your proximity
His mother looked at the two of you perplexed, "So you mean to say you both won't have kids of your own and... then what about.. i..--" there were so many question and scenarios running through her head as if everything plan she had of wonwoo's future was crumbling down at her feet. When Mr. Jeon rose from his seat, walking towards the exit. "You'd better have a good excuse for this, son. Sunmi, let's go. Wonwoo, meet me at home tomorrow."
A few days passed after that tumultuous evening. You visited your parents, seeking forgiveness and explaining that Noel's maternal family posed a danger to him. They began to warm up, though your father remained somewhat sulky, feeling left out of the loop. Your mother, on the other hand, busied herself caring for Noel but remained somewhat distant from you.
In Wonwoo's family estate, he was sitting at his father's office while his mother stood next to the window he explained Noel's background and your obligations. Although his mother had softened slightly, she was still wary and abruptly left the room with tears in her eyes.
Wonwoo's father was the last to confront him. He asked earnestly "Tell me, Wonwoo, what's the real reason?"
Wonwoo hesitated, knowing the gravity of the situation and cautiously offered "Noel has an inheritance worth 2 billion."
His father's eyes widened, a mix of disbelief and offense. "Are you telling me you did this for money?"
He rose from his seat and left Wonwoo sitting there, perplexed and wondering where he had gone wrong.Wonwoo felt a surge of frustration and hurt. He couldn't let his father believe that he had adopted Noel solely for financial gain. In a determined stride, he followed his father, catching up to him just outside the room.
with conviction he said, "Do you think that shallow of me, Dad? I didn't do this for money. My wife and I did this to save him from the people who are after that money."
His father halted in his tracks and turned to look at him, a mix of surprise and curiosity in his eyes. The tension in the air seemed to lessen, and it was clear that Wonwoo's words had struck a chord.
"What do you mean, Wonwoo?"
...
Your car approached Bourbon Street, and as the navigation system announced your destination, you readied your file for the upcoming meeting with the head architect. Your driver opened the car door for you, but just as you were about to exit, your phone rang, displaying "Mr. Jeon" on the screen. Retrieving your phone from your bag, you answered the call, and Wonwoo's voice came through.
''Yes, Wonwoo."
"Hey, Just wanted to check in. How's everything progressing?
Seated comfortably in the car, you gave Wonwoo an update on the construction's status.
"Well I just reached, as I can see from here the construction is moving forward, albeit they have started with the foundation and waiting for the approval of the final design. But I guess if everything goes smoothly here we would be sticking to the schedule, But I feel we need to pay attention closely."
"Ah, I wish could have joined you, but I have back-to-back monthly review meetings for the hotels today. It's a bit hectic."
"No problem, Wonwoo. I understand your busy schedule. And by the way I might be working late tonight to ensure everything goes smoothly, So don't wait up for me."
"Actually, Y/N, I have something to discuss. My Uncle is hosting his yearly polo match brunch this month, and I think Noel has been taking equestrian classes, so I thought maybe he'll also have fun. And Many potential investors will be present. I was wondering if you and Noel would like to attend with me."
Your and Wonwoo's schedules often conflicted. You preferred working from your home office, giving your staff autonomy, while Wonwoo believed in maintaining a clear boundary between work and home, even though he occasionally worked late into the night. Meanwhile, Noel had started school and was getting along well with his peers, particularly after his impressive performance at a recent science exhibition. Amid your busy lives, you made an effort to have family dinners, with Wonwoo occasionally joining despite his demanding work hours.
"That sounds like an important event, Wonwoo. Hmm how about we talk about this when I get home."
home.. you resounded it in your head.
In the midst of your ongoing conversation a soft knock came from outside wonwoo's office door Wonwoo raised a single finger, signifying a momentary pause. To who ever interrupted,
"Yes.. see you at home'' he said
With these simple words, you ended the call, and in that instant, Wonwoo felt a quick flutter of his heart. He cleared his throat and casually pocketed his phone, a deviation from his usual routine of stowing it in a drawer before meetings. While this may not be that noteworthy, yet this didn't miss the keen eyes of Lee Chan who was intrigued by this turn of events.
....
You slid in the phone inside your pant pockets and stepped out of the car and walked towards the site where Kwon Siyeon, the head architect, stood near a plastic table with various papers laid down rising and falling due to the winds. She was also the mind behind designing two of Jeon groups projects, Which included the Hotel where you proposed to Wonwoo. Her presence commanding attention with her poised demeanor and an outfit that combined professionalism with a touch of creativity. She was dressed in a well-fitted blazer that exuded a sense of authority, yet the colorful scarf draped around her neck hinted at her artistic sensibilities. Her ebony hair was pulled back neatly, accentuating her sharp features.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Jeon. It's a pleasure to meeting you."
An unfamiliar tingled coursed through your feet, this is the first time someone addressed you like this, "Please Y/N is fine, Mrs. Jeon is my mother in law" Making the both of you chuckle.
You exchanged pleasantries and engaged in a bit of small talk before she led you through the resort layout. Siyeon was known for her attention to detail, and it was evident in the way she explained each aspect of the resort, her words painting vivid pictures of her vision.
As you walked along, something caught your eye – a blue print that read "Confidential: For Authorized Personnel Only." Your curiosity piqued, you couldn't resist inquiring.
"Siyeon, what's the story behind that 'Confidential' section?"
He gave you an apologetic glance and said "I'm sorry, Y/N, but I can't discuss that without Mr. Jeon's presence and permission."
While it irked you not to have immediate access to this , You decided to keep your composure and trust Siyeon's judgement and ask your assistant to look into it . The tour continued, and the designs that unfolded before you exceeded your wildest aspirations. The meeting that followed was a long one, but the ideas that were presented left you feeling more content with the direction this is going.
....
It was close to 11 pm when you entered the serene villa. Wonwoo's car was neatly parked in the driveway, yet Siyeon's words were still looping in your head when you were about to leave.
"Again, it was a pleasure meeting you Y/N, your husband speaks quiet highly of you now I see the reason why, And if I am being honest I never thought Wonwoo was the settling type. But I guess good for him''
She is in first name basis with him, you just gave her a smile "Likewise Siyeon, See you in 2 weeks time''
A soft glow of lights emanated from Noel's room window, indicating that he had retired for the night. You made your way through the cozy hallway, and Tham, met you at the door.
"Good evening, Y/N"
"Evening Mrs. Noh"
" Mr. Jeon is in the home gym, and Noel went to bed around 9."
"What about dinner?'"
"Both of them took the dinner together"
"I see"
"Madam would you like to have something to eat?"
"No, I don't feel like eating just send a cup of Spearmint tea in my room my stomach feels a little uneasy."
"Ok then, Good Night madam"
With a grateful nod, you proceeded to Noel's room, where you leaned in to press a tender kiss on his forehead. Your footsteps carried you down the hall to your own room, your body aching from sitting in the car too long then all the walking around the site your mind and body seeking a warm shower and sleep.
After a refreshing shower, you adorned yourself in a delicate silk nightwear, designed with a subtle slit on each side. Seated at your dresser, you focused on your nightly skincare routine, the cool serums gently caressing your skin. The room was bathed in a soft, inviting glow.
Amid your beauty regimen, a gentle knock rapped at your bedroom door.
"Enter."
Wonwoo sauntered into the room, a towel draped around his neck, capturing droplets of water from his just-concluded shower. He wore a simple black cotton t-shirt and drawstring sweatpants. His cheeks held a rosy flush, likely from the hot shower, and his biceps were distinctly outlined.
He lingered in the doorway, his gaze raking over your form, admiring the elegant silhouette you cut. You raised a brow,
"Can I help you?"
Wonwoo said with a playful grin "Can't a husband visit his wife?"
You rolled your eyes, and he chuckled.
"I just wanted to ask how it went."
"It was okay, designs are well-received, with some minor tweaks. But let's begin with the construction."
He nodded and made himself comfortable in a nearby seat.
"About Jungkook's brunch—"
You interjected "What about it?"
"If my family or anyone says something that doesn't sit right with you, just tell me. And and one more thing, Eleanor will be—"
Wonwoo found himself lost in his own words, his attention wandering as his eyes continued to appreciate your alluring presence.
"What about Eleanor?"
Snapping back to the conversation, he stammered slightly, "Oh, no, nothing about her. Just that her husband is a client and friend of Jungkook's, so they'll be there."
Then, he noticed the subtle furrow of your brows.
"Are you okay? Did something happen at the site? Y/N, if you're uncomfortable around her, you don't have to go. I'll take care of the investors."
"My point of concern is not your ex-girlfriend, Wonwoo. I just… I'm rather tired and would like to sleep. Can we discuss this tomorrow at breakfast?"
He had hoped for a longer conversation, but he didn't press the matter, He wanted to ask if you'd like to participate with him in the game, silently contemplating if there was something amiss. Was it something you were mad about? Or perhaps something involving him? and left the room.
You have no idea what got you so worked up all of the sudden. shaking your head you took a moment to shoot a text to Rachel, asking, "Did you look into it?" Within seconds, three dots appeared on the screen, signaling her response was in progress.
...
...
In the heart of the city, the roots of the Jeon family extended through the branches of a thriving empire, a testament to their far-sighted patriarch. Wonwoo's grandfather, a visionary from his early days, recognized the three essentials for human existence—medicine, shelter, and clothing—beyond the basic necessities of air, water, and food. Rather than narrowing their focus to a single path, he decided to let the family tree grow in every direction, like the sprawling branches of a majestic oak.
His story began when he married the daughter of his local jeweler and brought her into the bustling city, expanding their horizons. Each of his three children was given the chance to choose their own path, in line with these vital aspects of human life.
Wonwoo's aunt, with her sharp intellect and dedication, ventured into the world of medicine. She became a highly respected cardiologist, eventually marrying into the esteemed Han family, the monarchs of the medical realm. In her union, she not only found a husband but also paved the way for Wonwoo's grandfather to acquire a significant stake in the ever-evolving world of healthcare.
Meanwhile, Wonwoo's uncle, Jeon Jaehyun, inherited a keen eye for fashion. He was the youngest of the three siblings and took after his mother, emerging as a renowned fabric manufacturer serving luxury designers. He found his lifelong partner in his childhood sweetheart, the esteemed Judge Jeon Heeri, making them a dynamic duo in both love and their respective careers.
As for Jeon Wooshik, he took a different path. He ventured into the construction and real estate industry like his father, establishing JJ Construction and builder group, which eventually branched into the creation of luxurious hotels. His commitment to the family's legacy helped them grow, not only in stature but also in their influence within the city.
Jeon Jaehyun held a profound fascination for European culture, particularly enamored by the elegance and grace associated with horses. His quarterly polo brunches became iconic family gatherings, akin to Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving. These gatherings were the occasions where the Jeon family, their close friends, and those they sought to impress or, in many cases, intimidate, would all come together. The polo brunches were more than just social events; they were a symbol of the Jeon family's refined taste and sophistication, a testament to their prominence and influence in the city.
Wonwoo's Rolls-Royce glided smoothly up the gravel path and into the splendid summer mansion past the manganous iron gates. Departing at 8 a.m., you had been fortunate to avoid the heavy traffic, arriving at your destination by 11 a.m. The air was crisp, the surroundings lush with greenery, and a line of luxurious vehicles graced the driveway. From sleek Audis to gleaming Ferraris, Porsche to Bugatti, the cars were a testament to the grandeur of the gathering.
Stepping out of the car, a valet extended his hand to accept the keys from Wonwoo. Tham, Although a 5'5" woman, effortlessly carried Noel's slumbering form from the car and now was standing next to you. Wonwoo, adorned in a white rolled linen shirt, khaki trousers, and brown shades, looked every bit the embodiment of summer elegance. You, on the other hand, opted for white flare pants, a stylish tank top, brown sandals, and black shades with golden rims.
As one of the attendants came forward to collect your bags from the car, you lovingly adjusted Noel's T-shirt and tenderly ran your hand through his hair He must be working himself to hard with the school then the extra curricular activities. Amid this quiet moment, a sudden honk pierced the air, startling you. Turning toward the source of the sound, Wonwoo instructed Tham to follow the attendant to the guestroom.
Suddenly, a man in his late twenties appeared, sporting a short-sleeved white T-shirt, blue jeans, and chunky brown boots. He wasted no time in announcing his presence.
Jungkook boasted, "If it isn't my favorite sister-in-law." He engulfed you in a warm hug.
Jeon Jungkook, the son of Jeon Jaehyun and Judge Heeri, a bright and ambitious young man. His mother hoped he would follow in her footsteps as a public prosecutor, serving the public interest. However, his uncles and grandfather held a different vision for him. They believed that instead of working for the law, he could work alongside the lawmakers. They recognized that within the world of laws and regulations, there were layers of complexity, with the dual facets of good and bad coexisting, much like the two sides of a coin. It was a world where even the most brilliant and shining surface could conceal the base metal beneath.
The melding of law and commerce, created a powerful synergy within the Jeon family. Their collective vision and values have transformed them into a force to be reckoned with, known far and wide as the untouchables in their city.
You subtly patted his back to signal that it was time to end the embrace.
"Mr. Jeon."
With a good-natured chuckle, you affectionately called Jeon Jungkook by his title. However, a hand gently pushed him away, playfully chiding him about personal space.
"Personal space, Kookie."
The man who had stood next to you, shielding you from Jungkook's exuberance, seemed to have a protective air about him.
"Hyung!!" He playfully whined and took a step back, turning his attention to you.
"Noona, what's with this 'Mr. Jeon' nonsense? I told you to call me JK at the wedding, didn't I? If you don't, I'll think you don't like me."
Jungkook's eyes darted around, and he continued with curiosity.
"Where's the little champ you brought from Switzerland?"
You chuckled and Wonwoo began to explain. "His name is Noel, and he's sleeping in the guestroom. He's not a commodity that we brought from there—"
"Yadi yada, sure—" He interrupted Wonwoo and turned to you, shifting the conversation with an impish grin.
"Noona, did you bring your spitfire assistant here too?"
Wonwoo corrected him with a touch of authority.
"It's 'heyongnim' for you, punk."
Jungkook made a dismissive sound and teased him.
"That's so boomer."
He then looked at you expectantly, waiting for an answer.
"Well, I thought this was a family-only thing."
"Psh… Well, technically, yes, but it's not a rule. Hyung's little midget Lee Chan is here. You know, Noona, there was a rumor that Hyung and him—"
Wonwoo swiftly intervened, his hand gently nudging your back, urging you to move.
"Okay, that's enough. Everyone must be waiting."
Jungkook burst into laughter and teased further. "Of course, the current star of this ring has finally arrived. You have no idea how desperately people are waiting for Noona, especially our aunt."
With a casual slinging of his duffle bag onto his back, Jungkook took the lead, walking ahead of you both.
"See you inside, Hyung."
He turned to you and tilted his head, looking intently into your eyes.
"Heyongnim."
With that, he strolled inside the estate.
The sprawling expanse of the Jeon's summer estate stretched far beyond what met the eye. Originally belonging to Wonwoo's grandfather, he had generously donated it to his wife's organization, ensuring that his sons became equal beneficiaries of this remarkable property. The estate, with its majestic aura, had often played host to a plethora of events over the years, including weddings, official functions, and gatherings like the grand Jeon family reunion taking place today.
As you approached the estate, you couldn't help but marvel at the sheer scale of the place. The ambiance was charged with anticipation, and you felt a sense of excitement as well as nervousness welling up within you.
This would be fun, you thought to yourself.
Stepping inside the tent where the entire Jeon family and their esteemed guests mostly family friends were gathered while the rest would arrive for the evening party, you noticed many of them dressed in equestrian attire. All eyes turned towards you as you made your entrance, their gazes lingering first on you and then on Wonwoo, his hand still resting gently on your back. The lively family table chatter gradually quieted down as the family members took notice of your arrival. You won't blame them its only been two weeks since media got the whiff of Noel and adoption, and some rumors also circulating that you maybe infertile that's why you adopted him to Noel maybe your love child from some affair and if you're being honest, if that were the case you wouldn't need to be standing here.
A woman with pink-dyed streaks, possibly one of Wonwoo's cousins, was the first to break the silence with a playful remark.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the talk of the town—the 'It' couple these days."
Her comment was met with collective chuckles.
As the greetings were exchanged one by one, a sense of formality and expectation lingered in the air. You kissed your Mother-in-laws cheeks When Wonwoo's father extended an invitation for you to sit next to him, it felt like an invitation into the Bermuda Triangle itself. To his right was Han-Jeon Heari, and seated next to her was Jeon Jaehyun, leaving the seat on his left vacant. You and Wonwoo exchanged a brief, apprehensive look.
Before Wonwoo could interject, one of his friends and cousins called out to him from the other side of the tent. You gave him an assuring nod as he made his way over. The sudden change in his direction prompted a humorous comment from someone in the vicinity.
"I never thought I'd live long enough to see the day where Wonwoo would take his wife's permission before going anywhere."
Another voice chimed in with a gravelly laugh. "Leave them alone, punk. They're newlyweds."
"Ahh, the bliss of the honeymoon phase."
The voice belonged to Han Joon-hee, the woman with the pink-streaked hair. Her comment was cut short by her mother, who cleared her throat and halted her daughter from saying anything further.
With grace and composure, you proceeded to take your place, walking over and settling into the chair to the left of your father-in-law.
"Father, Uncle, Aunt."
You addressed each of them respectfully, acknowledging their presence. The server offered assistance as you took your seat.
When your father-in-law inquired about Noel's whereabouts, you responded with a smile, "He was tired, so he's napping in the guest room."
He seemed pleased by your response and expressed a desire to spend time with the young boy during the polo match. His intention was to teach Noel some of the Jeon family's ways and traditions, considering him a part of the family now. You nodded in agreement, and he settled back, enjoying his tea and watching you closely. The intense scrutiny from him and others at the table didn't go unnoticed, and although something felt off about Wonwoo's aunt, his father had always been warm and welcoming to you. Meanwhile, Wonwoo's mother had been somewhat distant in recent days.
Keeping her coffee mug down Wonwoo's aunt began, "I remember when I was young, I was having some trouble conceiving joon-hee so my husband and I thought why don't we adopt a child , like our daughter-in-law here. Mom, Dad, and even Oppa were so against it. They kept on saying, 'A stranger is a stranger, and blood is blood. You know, 'Blood is thicker than water.' Huh, old times. But I bet times have changed. Young people now know best, In our times no decision was taken without talking to elders but now old people like us get informed that this is a decision we have taken. I guess it true people have it more difficult when it comes to their own flesh and blood"
"Haeri."
Wonwoo's father warned her gently, and she turned to you with an apologetic smile.
"It's alright, Oppa. I'm just saying, oh—I'm sorry, I meant no malice nor offense, darling. I hope you understand."
Her words were accompanied by a charming smile. She must have been a striking beauty in her youth, exuding intelligence and sophistication.
"No, it's alright. I know you mean no harm. It's nice that Aunt cares so much about us."
"Of course, at the end of the day, it's a question about our oppa's and nephew's legacy. If you want, in our hospital, we have the country's top fertility center."
Wonwoo's uncle intervened "I think that would be enough, Noona. Let the child breathe. The kids Nowadays know what they're doing."
He tilted his head towards his brother.
"Right, Hyung?"
She was about to speak up when you added, "Then you didn't tell them the full saying? That sometimes 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.'"
She regarded you thoughtfully for a few moments and irking slience looming over the four of you and then spoke, "You're a reflection of Kaori, through and through. No wonder why our Wonwoo is so enamored by you." She chuckled before delivering the final blow. "Like father, like son."
"Haeri!"
Wonwoo's father's voice was loud enough to silence all chatter at the table. Wonwoo's head snapped in your direction, and he prepared to intervene. However, you shook your head, signaling for him to halt.
"Yeobo…" Wonwoo's mother looked at you from the other end of the table. The younger siblings, trying to lighten the mood, started laughing, pretending it was a jest between siblings. This helped to dissipate the tension.
"Oppa is still so easy to ruffle with."
Everyone sighed in relief and resumed their conversations, but the glances between Wonwoo and his parents lingered for a moment before they were pulled back into their respective discussions.
"What is done is done. Haeri still doesn't know how to draw the line between taunt and sarcasm." Uncle offered Don't worry, Y/N. You'll get the hang of it with time."
You thought, I'd rather not.
As the conversation continued, you found yourself engaging with Uncle Jaehyun and your father-in-law.
"So, Hyung was telling me that you finished your studies in Switzerland and even branched your father's company there? That's remarkable… You know, Y/n, I have to say your upcoming designs and exhibition look promising."
"Thank you, Uncle. It means a lot coming from you."
''Any plans for expanding your wings to the clothing side, since you've already stepped into the hotel field?"
He raised an eyebrow playfully, and you mirrored his expression, responding in a jestful tone.
"Let's see if I find a good manufacturer. I can try my hand at that. Anyone you suggest?"
"Ooohoooo, I like her! Ya, Wonu Ya, you got a good one, punk!"
Everyone laughed, and you couldn't help but a little embaressed . The conversation continued, mostly between Uncle Jaehyun and your father-in-law. Aunt Haeri chimed in with some quips here and there. Then, Wonwoo's mother joined this side of the table and placed her hands on her husband's shoulders.
"Honey, it's time for your meds."
He placed his hands over hers and nodded. Then, he turned to you with a kind smile.
"Y/N, would you like to walk this old man to his room?"
"It would be an honor."
You rose from your seat and took your father-in-law's extended arm, exchanging smiles with your mother-in-law. Wonwoo was about to ask something, but his father intervened.
"I just want to have a little chat with my daughter. Sit back down."
With that, you started walking to accompany your father-in-law till his room.
When a boisterous voice called out, "Noona, would you like to play?" a sharp glare was thrown in his direction. He quickly corrected himself, addressing you with a more respectful tone, "HeyongNim, would you like to play?"
You offered a warm smile as you looked at your father-in-law and then at Wonwoo. Your father-in-law's expression was encouraging, but Wonwoo's gaze was reluctant. He hesitated before responding, "I don't think that would be a good idea."
You immediately challenged him, asking, "And why is that?"
Wonwoo hesitated again before replying, "Do you know how to play polo?"
With a confident tone, you retorted, "Of course I do."
Wonwoo seemed taken aback, "Well, you never told me."
With a mischievous smile, you replied, "You never asked."
Wonwoo began, "I was going to—"
But before he could finish, Jungkook interjected, "Oh ho, enough with the lovers' bickering. Noona, my team is a player short. Would you like to join us? We'll beat Wonwoo Hyung's ass."
A stern voice admonished Jungkook, and he apologized, "Sorry, ma. Ya, as I was saying, would you like to kick his butt?"
You agreed, "Sure, but I think by now he's used to it."
Your response elicited laughter from people near by in the tent.
Wonwoo challenged you, "I'd like to see you try. I haven't lost a single match since '08."
You retorted confidently, "Then mark the calendars, we're going to witness history in the making."
The challenging fire blazed in both your eyes as you exchanged words.
Jungkook chimed in, "You've got yourself a deal."
With an echo of "oooooo" in the tent, you started walking with Wonwoo's father to his room. As you departed, you glanced back to see Wonwoo playfully putting Jungkook in a headlock and saying something along the lines of, "Who are you to form teams with my wife, punk?"
A smile formed on your lips as you continued your steps inside the estate.
His voice interrupted your thoughts as he said, "You know, Y/N…"
The unexpected words startled you, almost causing you to forget that you were walking with Wonwoo's father. The two of you were surrounded by portraits and art pieces collected by his mother, adorning the high walls. Each piece bore witness to many conversations and had been the subject of various stares.
He continued, "I always loved children. There is a twelve-year gap between my siblings and me, so it's safe to say they didn't experience the things I did. I'm grateful for that, but I always wanted to have many children, at least four. However, before Wonwoo, Sunmi, and I, we lost two of our children during the early stages of pregnancy."
Your heart went out to them, and you offered your condolences, "I'm sorry that you both had to go through that."
His eyes held a tinge of sadness as he gave you a sad smile, "And when Wonwoo came to us, we decided we would fulfill our wishes. So, even if we don't have many children, we'll play with our grandchildren. Then you both introduced Noel to us, and I was greatly disappointed, thinking that maybe I'd never have the pleasure of playing with my son's children. But then Wonwoo told me the whole story, and if I'm being honest, I'm ashamed of myself for the things I said that day and for jumping to conclusions. What you said was right: sometimes the relationships we choose are stronger than the ones we're born into. This old man has a lot of unlearning to do, so I hope you'll be understanding of where I came from."
You both halted in front of the master bedroom. His hand affectionately patted your head as he continued, "Your parents did a good job. Well, I wouldn't expect anything less from Kaori. She's always been someone with unshakeable principles. I'm glad you take after her, and my son recognized that. Take good care of my son; he might be a little stubborn and a sore loser, but he tends to suffer alone."
You replied, "I will try my best, Father," a sense of melancholy settling in your heart, that in a way for your personal benefit you're putting so many people's emotions and affection at stake, I hope after I leave Wonwoo marries a person who would truly make him and his parents happy you thought. "Y/N, if it's okay with you, I'd like to take Noel with us tomorrow for the fishing trip."
You contemplated the request and then said, "I will ask Noel and let you know. But I truly appreciate you making Noel feel included. Life has not been kind to him."
"I know kid, Now go and kick my son's ass he's been too smug about this winning streak of his" and shut the door with a wink.
...
...
After dressing in your equestrian outfit, you headed outside with Noel. As you joined the gathering, Wonwoo's mother called him over and introduced him to everyone. Noel's grip on your hand was tight, and he looked a bit nervous.
As Noel stood with you, Wonwoo's mother addressed the family, "I'd like you all to meet Noel, our newest family member."
The family members turned their attention to Noel, offering polite smiles and hellos. Noel, feeling a bit overwhelmed, replied with a soft-spoken, "Hello."
Amidst the chattering adults, a young girl named Kwon Somi, She was maybe Joon-Hee's daughter you recalled, her mother was in the ground strolling in her horse. The girl must be around 5 or 6 years old, approached Noel. With a friendly smile, she held out her hand and said, "Hi, I'm Somi. Want to play Jenga with us?"
Noel hesitated for a moment, looking at you for guidance. You encouraged him, saying, "It's okay, Noel. Go have fun with them."
With your support, Noel took Somi's hand, and she led him towards the kids' tent. As they walked away, you could hear their excited chatter:
"This is my new aunt's new son, Noel. He's new."
"Hi, Noel! I'm Daniel. Do you like playing Jenga?"
"Yeah, I do. I've played it before, Victor, JJ and I used to play it all the time."
"Great! We have a big Jenga set. Let's see who can make the tallest tower!"
"Sounds like fun!"
"Who's JJ"
"Who know's maybe one of his nannies"
After Noel left you gestured to Tham to follow and keep an eye on him.
Wonwoo's mother inquired about your father-in-law, and you informed her, "He said he'll be back after a little rest."
You walked outside the tent, The horses stood tall and majestic, bathed in the soft sunlight. Lilian, with her pristine white coat, looked graceful and elegant, while JoJo, a rich chestnut brown, exuded strength and power. The polo field was meticulously groomed, with the fresh green grass neatly divided into sections.
As Wonwoo entered with Lilian and JoJo, he gently held their reins, expertly guiding them towards you. With a warm smile, you reached out to pat JoJo's muscular neck, feeling the energy and excitement in the air. His coat was soft and velvety under your touch, and he snorted in anticipation. JoJo has been Wonwoo's Horse since he was 18years old and for the first time he has let anyone except him and the groomer touch him, even when Jungkook tried to ride him, he almost started buckling till the moment he felt his weight was off his back. You mounted on JoJo as if it was fate you both bonded within seconds, and started walking to the field.
He turned to Lilian and said "I guess it's us against them my love" and mounted on her.
On the opposite side, Jungkook confidently rode a beautiful black horse with a striking mane. It was a magnificent sight, the animals and their riders forming a thrilling ensemble.
As Jungkook signaled the start of the match, the players moved into their respective positions. The game was intense, with the ball flying across the field as the teams clashed, attempting to score a goal. The first half ended with the score tied.
There was the moment when you and wonwoo came across each other, when he smugly said,
"Give up your fantasy wife, I am winning this game"
"I'd like to see you try, Husband."
In the final few minutes of the game, you made a swift and daring move. You circled around Wonwoo's horse, evading his attempts to block your path. Your eyes locked and gave him a wink, making wonwoo blank for a few beats With finesse, you managed to pass the ball to Jungkook, who was positioned perfectly.
"YOU SNOOZE YOU LOOSE", You shouted.
Jungkook seized the opportunity and struck the ball with precision. It soared through the air, hitting the target, and the crowd erupted into cheers. Your team had won the match, creating history with the incredible goal.
The laughter and jubilation that followed were infectious. Wonwoo who was left dumbstruck in the middle of the field couldn't help but smile at your triumph, and his mother, who had been watching closely, couldn't help but share in the joy of the moment.
She pushed aside her sister-in-law's remarks and sipped her mimosa, her heart filled with pride and happiness. 'They truly suit each other' she thought to herself she turned and looked at Noel who was having a great time learning tricks with Jenga from her husband.
....
....
The evening arrived and the party down stairs started and the moonlight enveloped you, casting a warm and inviting glow in your room. He can't recall when he walked out of the wardrobe but Wonwoo stood there, struck by your sheer beauty as you adorned your maroon floor-length off-shoulder velvet dress. The fabric clung to your body in all the right places, accentuating your figure. The color complemented your skin tone and made your eyes sparkle with a special radiance.
His eyes were mesmerized as they traced the lines of your dress, and he felt a rush of pride and longing. Wonwoo couldn't help but admire how breathtaking you looked in that moment. The soft candlelight flickered around you, adding to the enchantment.
With a soft smile, his feet developed a mind of their own and approached you and offered his assistance. You were having a bit of trouble clasping a bracelet, so he gently took your hand and, with deft fingers, secured the delicate piece of jewelry in place. Your skin felt soft and warm against his, and he couldn't resist planting a tender kiss on your wrist, right above the bracelet. Making your heart beat quicken, its not like it is the first time he has kissed your hand, but this time there is a palpable tension lingering in the room, your gazes stuck on each other. You retrieved your hand from his soft grasp and mumbled a quick 'Thank you'.
The faint sounds of music floated into your room, a gentle reminder of the festivities taking place below. The guests were arriving one by one, and the atmosphere was alive with laughter and conversation. People mingled, drinks flowed, and the energy of the evening was infectious.
You and Wonwoo made your way through the crowd, greeting familiar faces and potential clients. Han Joon-Hee's Father-In-Law, who had been a steadfast supporter of Wonwoo's ventures, engaged in a conversation with you, discussing business and investments. The evening was a perfect blend of family, friends, and networking, and as the night went on, you couldn't help but feel some stares thrown at you some with curiousity some with pity, and the whispers heightening in volume.
Eleanor and her husband, Lee Joonsuk, made a grand entrance, drawing the collective attention of the room. Lee Joonsuk was a man in his 40s, standing at 5'10" with teeth so unnaturally white that they seemed to gleam under the lights. Despite the teeth, he was not that bad looking, with a head of black wavy hair that caught the eye.
Eleanor's arrival sent ripples of curiosity through the room. The affair between her and Wonwoo was the worst-kept secret in their social circles. All eyes were on you, gauging your reaction, as Eleanor approached you. She assessed you up and down and extended her hand, and small smile saying, "Ms. L/N."
You stared at her hand for a moment, the air tense, before you took it, allowing a polite smile to grace your lips. You went for the customary kiss on the cheeks and whispered in her ear, "I go by Mrs. Jeon now." The room seemed to collectively exhale, the tension dissipating, but Eleanor's expression shifted, as if she'd just been doused with cold water of reality on her.
For most of the evening, Wonwoo had been standing by your side, his hands subtly at your waist, his thumb tracing absentminded circles on the small of your back. Superficial conversations flowed around you. However, as Eleanor approached, Wonwoo's hands had found your waist with a slightly firmer grip, his thumb caressing your back. The air grew thick with an unspoken tension.
Eleanor engaged in small talk for a while, then wandered off to speak to someone else. Jungkook arrived, dragging Lee Joonsuk and Wonwoo to the bar. He gave your waist a gentle squeeze before excusing himself. Jungkook raised the topic of one of wonwoo's latest ventures Joonsuk also started to take interest in the resort, but Wonwoo had no intention of indulging him at that moment nor anywhere near future.
You found yourself in a conversation with Jungkook's mom and her brother when your phone rang. You excused yourself to the veranda, to answer Racheal's call,
"Madam all I could rather was there is a section of a plot away from the resort where Mr. Jeon aims to build a auditorium but I am uncertain of what type."
"Auditorium, never mind it, I will ask him directly about it, thank you for the hard work, By the way did I tell you, there was someone who was expecting to see you."
"Then I am glad it was not fulfilled, Whoever kept them."
Interesting.
Just as you were about to return to the gathering, you spotted Eleanor walking onto the veranda, her presence casting another layer of intrigue over the evening.
Eleanor's midnight blue gown clinging to her waist, as she retrieved a cigarette from her silver clutch and extended the offer to you, which you politely declined. As she began speaking, you couldn't help but feel amused by the irony of your situation – always caught between clichés.
"I'm sure you're aware that Wonwoo and I go way back," she started.
You took a sip of your drink and nodded. Her revelation piqued your curiosity, wondering where this conversation was heading.
"And what about it?" you inquired.
Eleanor leaned in slightly, her tone dripping with casual nonchalance. "Nothing, really. I'm just glad he finally got his hands on the land he's always craved. He was crazy about Bourbon Street, and he used to take me there. We'd look at the stars, and he promised me he'd build me a house there. But look how things turned out," she chuckled.
Understanding dawned upon you. Wonwoo's obsession with the land was more about fulfilling a long-standing promise to Eleanor than just a business venture. You couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy for her, given the circumstances.
"Don't take it to heart, Y/N," she continued. "I know you're a smart girl, and if I could offer you some advice, girl to girl—"
"You know, Mrs. Lee," you interjected, "I think you're a woman who's wasting her potential on the wrong things."
Her expression shifted from surprise to intrigue. "Pardon?" she said.
"I saw your speech at UCLA, and I was genuinely happy to see a woman with the potential to lead, not just act as a marionette in the hands of those who use women as shields to gain women's support and then pass laws that end up subjugating them rather than liberating them," you explained. "So, seeing you waste your potential over a man who doesn't even want you is disappointing, girl to girl."
Eleanor's eyes wavered for a moment before she regained her composure. "I underestimated you. You're more astute than I anticipated," she admitted.
"What can I say? Don't judge a book by its cover," you replied with a shrug. As you turned to leave, she muttered, "A man never forgets his first love."
You paused for a moment before responding, "If the first love's experience is anything like yours, he'd be a fool if he did."
Eleanor's retort was swift and venomous, "You bitch."
But you paid her no heed, choosing instead to exit the balcony. As you heard someone calling for Mrs. Lee, you decided not to linger and investigate further. Ignoring the pale face you could only imagine she had, you left the balcony behind and headed inside. A sense of weariness settled over you, and you wanted to take a moment to rest.
Your intention was to find Noel and see how he was doing. Making your way to the area where he was playing with the other kids, you overheard a conversation between two individuals. Intrigued, you paused.
"Did you hear about the boy the eldest grandson has adopted?" The hushed conversation caught your attention.
"What about it?" The second voice was curious.
"I've heard from my sister, who works there, that CEO Jeon is a very tactful businessman. When he found out that the boy his daughter-in-law adopted is worth no less than 2 billion, he did a complete 180. Both the father and the son have done a great job."
"That's more money than most of us will ever see in our lifetimes."
"I mean, what else can I expect? I heard Master Wonwoo’s grandfather used to be a constructor and a loan shark. Poor L/Ns, where they've got themselves, trapped into."
Your blood rushed to your ears, and anger surged through you. You contemplated rushing over to fetch Noel and confront the issue head-on. when you suddenly sensed someone standing behind you.
Turning slowly, you met Wonwoo's intense gaze. His lips were drawn in a firm line, and he watched you with anticipation, curious about your next move. Your feet felt as though they were glued to the ground. His demeanor was unexpectedly calm, sending a shiver down your spine.

EXTRA:
Moving is never easy, especially for a seven-year-old like Noel. He often wonders if his mama and papa hadn't passed away, maybe his Tante wouldn't have had to go through all the trouble of adopting him. The constant arguments between both sets of grandparents had left him feeling like a burden. He knows his Tante and her husband did a lot for him, but he still sometimes wishes things could go back to how they were before they got married.
His new school in this foreign place was another challenge. While the school itself felt like something out of a sci-fi movie from the future, the kids there were harsh and disrespectful. They wouldn't even say thank you to the doorman or the lunch lady. They'd spill drinks when the cleaning lady was mopping the floor. It was all very confusing for Noel.
His classmates were smart and involved in various activities, but they seemed to follow strange rules. When he told them to complain to their parents, they revealed that they were afraid of their mama and papa. They said if they ever complained, their parents would hit them or abandon them. Noel knew he could talk to his Tante and her husband if something bothered him, but these kids were different.
He remembered the day his classmate Leigh-Ana brought a phone to school, and it got confiscated. His classmates were initially friendly, but after their phones buzzed collectively in class one day, they started teasing him. They said he didn't have parents and that his Tante was raising him out of charity, so he should work hard and pay her back. That night, he cried for the first time since arriving here. He wondered if he truly was a burden.
That night, he didn't feel like eating, despite his aunty Tham's efforts. It was later when his Tante entered his room after knocking and saw him lying under the quilt.
"Hey, baby boy," she said softly.
Noel didn't respond.
"Did something happen at school?" she asked, glancing around the room. "Are you mad at Tante?"
..
"Baby, how will I know if you don't tell me? Remember what I told you: knots of the heart untie when you loosen the strings of your mouth."
...
She felt dejected. "Will you tell me when you're ready?"
There was a barely audible "yes."
She gently caressed his head and left the room, telling Tham to give him a glass of milk and something to eat if he felt like it.
Wonwoo had just returned from the office and overheard Noel's nanny and housekeeper talking about the situation at school. They were concerned about Noel being teased by his classmates.
"Compared to the kids in his school, Master Noel is an angel," one of them said. ‘Because of this even madam didn’t have dinner.’
Wonwoo decided to intervene. He told them not to inform Y/N about the issue and that he would handle it personally. He then instructed them to bring both of their dinner to Y/N's room.
This Saturday was different for Wonwoo as he had a plan. He knocked on Noel's door.
"Yes?" came a muffled voice.
He opened the door and found Noel surrounded by Lego pieces, working on a science project titled "World in 2050."
"This is cool. What is it about?" Wonwoo asked, genuinely interested.
Noel, still focused on his project, replied, "I saw in a movie that in 2050, the world will be submerged in water and everything will be destroyed. So, I'm building an underwater world where we will live in submarines."
"That sounds fascinating. How do you plan to create the underwater effect?"
Noel gave him an incredulous look. "After I'm done, I'll put it in an aquarium."
Wonwoo chuckled. "I see. So, you'll build a Lego world that weighs more than you and manage to put it inside an aquarium all by yourself, huh?"
Noel looked at him, unsure how to respond.
"Don't you think you should take the help of an adult? This competition is about Father's Day science exhibition."
Noel slumped his shoulders and replied, "I don't have a father. If you're done mocking me, you can leave."
Wonwoo smiled and said, "But you have me."
Noel retorted, "You're not my dad."
Wonwoo laughed. "Who said I was?"
"Well, if you need my help, I'll be in the living room."
Wonwoo turned to leave when Noel called out, "Wait! Tante's Husband."
Wonwoo turned back. "Yes?"
"You can call me Uncle."
"Fine, Uncle. Would you like me to help you with this project? But don't tell Tante; I want to win this without her help and surprise her."
Wonwoo picked up the picture again, and they began discussing the project in earnest.
As they worked late into the night, Noel was almost half-asleep on Wonwoo's lap. He mumbled, "I want to grow up and make my Tante proud, earn a lot of money so I can pay her back. She has suffered a lot because of me."
Wonwoo assured him, "I don't think your Tante needs your money, champ. All she needs is for you to grow up well and become a good person."
"Why?"
"Because that's what you do when you love someone. People who truly love, They don't do it to get something back; they do it simply because they love the other person."
Noel nodded, and Wonwoo continued to work on the project.
Past midnight, Noel was half-asleep in bed, and Wonwoo was finishing the painting around the cardboard for the project. Noel mumbled, "Hey uncle, can i call you "dad' at school?."
"Why?" Wonwoo asked.
"Because they said I shouldn't participate in this because I don't have a dad."
Wonwoo smiled and agreed, "Sure."
Noel then thanked Wonwoo for not sharing the conversation with Tham and Ajhumma with Y/N.
“You heard”
“Yes your voice is not exactly that soft and I went there to keep the empty milk glass”  wonwoo nodded.
“Tante is not bad but sometimes she goes really overboard with certain things”
Making Wonwoo laugh and mumble a soft I know.
After finishing the project together, Wonwoo set the cardboard aside to dry and put Noel to bed. He returned the empty dinner plates and pizza boxes to the kitchen and then sent a text to Chan to clear all his meetings for Monday after 1.
...
The day of the science exhibition arrived. As time passed, Noel's table garnered a lot of attention. He was proud of his work but also felt a little uneasy since he was the only student without an adult by his side. Some boys in the corner snickering at him. The judges were just two tables away. His shoulders shrunk, when he felt whispers around him when someone stood next to him and put their hand on his shoulder.
As if someone took all the shine of the stars and put it in Noel’s blue eyes, his face brightened when he saw Wonwoo standing next to him, “Noel who is this” one of noel’s classmates in the table next to him asked, “He’s my dad”
The child’s father recognized him, “oh aren't you Jeon Wonwoo of JJ group”
“Yes” they exchanged business card.
When Noel's class teacher approached them, was shocked to see Wonwoo there as it was usually you who accompanied him in any event since he came here. Wonwoo told them you are at work and said ‘Thank you taking good care of my son’ she thanked him and moved to the next table.
As the science projects were being judged, Noel won the second prize. He was thrilled by his achievement, but more importantly, he felt a sense of belonging and love. He realized that he wasn't a burden, and the people who cared about him didn't do things out of obligation but out of love.

Seb/Lando 25???
25. kiss as a yes
Lando should have known that this was coming when Sebastian took him back to this spot. It was the spot where they had gone on their first date. They had sat here under this tree on the picnic blanket Sebastian had bought, and curled up together as they had watched the movie playing on the screen that had been set up. They'd shared kisses and pasteries and Lando had known then that Sebastian was something special. So it shouldn't be surprising that after three years, Sebastian would bring him back here and get down on one knee like he was right now. The words were barely out of Sebastian's mouth before Lando was on the ground and tackeling him. "Lando!", Sebastian burst out laughing as Lando pinned him to the ground under him, "I was trying to ask you if you would-" Instead of saying yes, Lando kissed him. He was too excited to say yes with words. He needed Sebastian to feel it. He needed to show him how much he loved him, how much he wanted to marry him and be his husband in the future. He wanted nothing more than to be married to the man he loved, even if he was squishing him into the grass right now. "Is that a yes?", Sebastian asked with a grin when Lando ended the kiss to press soft little kisses all over his face. "Yes it's a yes", Lando laughed, "I will marry you"

Fentons and the joker
So the fentons are in gothem for whatever reason, yada yada yada...BUT rather than danny its JACK that went phyco on the joker???:)
.
.
.
Its just after danny revealed himself as phantom, it took some time to cope with it but the fenton parents support danny (as long as hes relatively safe) being phantom, in amity.
But right now Their in gothem, and jack and maddie are in protective mode, jazz and danny and a little annoyed since after danny revealed himself as phantom their protectiveness trippeled, usualy that wasent a problem, amity was their home, none of the ghosts really wanted to hurt danny, and they have access to resources and support when needed
But their not in amity, so if they get hurt they have limited options, and apparently jack and maddie take thay as :their children could be in danger, stay aware
Danny actually dosent mind it, he's outside of his haunt but he still feels as safe as can be
Jazz is trying to lecture them on the unhealthy coping mechanisms they've developed but that aside she dosent really mind
That was until they got a news report that their was a prison breakout
Danny and jazz are trying to keep their parents from pulling out the fenton bazookas
And jack and maddie are making sure the trackers on their children are working
Well suddenly the street is filled with smoke, there was screaming, laughing and the sounds of people getting knocked over
When the smoke clears danny and jazz are gone...
.
.
.
Danny amd jazz were being held hostage by some loon called the joker
Now its bad because jazz needs to focus all her attention on keeping danny calm, he's outside in haunt without any protection, his parents are gone, he cant use his powers without outing himself again and theres a FUCKING CLOWN 3 FEET FROM HIM MONOLOGING TO A FURRIE
He's this close to loosing it and (probably) turning this clown into sidewalk chalk
The clown kept talking to the furrie but they weren't paying attention, after a certain point the clown aimed his gun at danny head...
And thats when the fenton-family-car ran through the wall, maddie took one look at the situation and started beating the everliving shit out of anyone who got in the way of her and her babys... after 5 minues all the goons were making a path for her and the other hostages are scared of this woman
Jack on the other hand saw the position danny was in, had flashbacks to danny amd freakshow, and promptly went insane
He shoved batman, tackeled the joker, breaking the arm holding the gun in the processes, and proceded to(with his bare hands) remove all of the jokers teeth, he them puller out a fenton-net, strung him up like a fish and handed the netted-joker to batman with the instruction "watch him"
Half an hour later nightwing and batman are talking to the fentons, jack and maddie each cheaking for injuries on jazz and danny
Nightwing is the one to ask
:why did you do so much to the joker? Why didnt you just disarm him?
:huh, OH, y'see my youngest danny-O over there, had some...bad experiences with clowns that left some lasting trauma...and well, no one scares my children
Nightwing gave a pointed look at batman, and prepared to show the recordings to jason
