The biggest negative in working late shift is that once I clock out, everything has already closed up everywhere else.
Managed to trip on my own shoelaces while I was running to catch my bus home, and while *I*, myself, didn't suffer anything worse than couple minor scapes on one hand (thank you karate lessons for these reflexes), I did, unfortunatlely, land on my phone, and busted its screen.
The phone itself still works, I was able to keep listening to a podcast on spotify all the way home, but the screen won't light up.
Debating with myself on which phone repair shop to take it tomorrow, and in the meantime my tablet has to pretend to be a phone.
#shut up paper#there are couple phone repair shops nearby that are easy to access#but I'm not sure if I still have activa warranty and if yes then should I take it to the shop I got it from#because that one's farther away and requires Planning#note to self: switch the sim to the tablet#this rectangular dinner plate isn't exactly convenient but at least it can receive phone calls unlike my old phone#which I mainly use for DnD sessions nowdays#as it crashes any time someone tries to call it

any weaving witches able to interpret this:

i want to buy some tablet woven boot laces but i am sooo picky and won't buy stuff that it looks like i could make myself. or sometimes it just doesn't match the shoes / rest of my wardrobe... AND on top of that i also refuse to buy from ppl who have "too into vikings" energy but apparently that seems to be a prerequisite for being good at tablet weaving

Hm.
I don't usually talk about the things about Kliff that actually annoy me because my primary goal is to increase Kliff appreciation, but something I kinda don't like is that his palette basically has every color of the rainbow in it.
Not that I have anything against rainbows and he makes it work, but it makes doing anything "minimal" with him difficult.
#is kliff is gay? (joking. except not really because he is clearly bisexual)#i think the only color he doesn't have is a solid 'blue' but he has 'teal' from his eyes and tablet#which is between blue and green. so yeah. he basically has every color of the rainbow in his design#anyway. i started thinking about this because i was trying to make an alternate design for him#that would help him fit into my aesthetics better#similar to when i designed the malt shop series#but with less alterations to his outfit (though I could probably change that up too. maybe i'll use one of his concept designs)#anyway i decided to limit his palette to just 3 colors (hopefully i'll post it soon)#as you can imagine if i'm making it to suit my aesthetics#there's a lot of pink~
