Aru didn’t pay any mind to seeing Wakako on the street, after all, they lived in the same city and frequented the same routes so it was likely to happen. No, what took Aru off guard was when Wakako stopped what she was doing and handed Aru a box. Peaking open the lid, Aru was met with a delectable aroma.

Closing it again, not wanting to ruin the surprise or risk the food spoiling, Aru simply turned back to the other woman and gave a slow yet happy nod. “T…thank you! You really shouldn’t have…aru…”

She’ll have to repay the gesture one day, somehow.

It was the vibe of a lonely person he got from her – though if it was by choice or just happened to be that way was something he neither knew nor really cared to find out. What mattered was simply that she was a customer at Sojijro’s new cafe, and that she was rather engrossed in her curry.

Sojiro moves around to pour another cup of coffee, eyeing her almost empty plate. He sighed, settling on being nice as he wandered back around behind the counter. “I’ll give you another serving at half price if you’re really that hungry. But you have to promote me.”

Halfway a joke, that last bit. He did mean it about giving her another serving half off though – it did his heart a little bit of good to see someone else enjoy the curry that much. If she was actually enjoying it. This woman was a little bit hard to read.

The Hummingbird hotel hosted it’s own restaurant on the ground floor. Popuri had heard that the restaurant offered free food so she thought she’d stop by and grab something to eat. Much to her surprise the staff was purely composed of sheep. For a restaurant in a hotel it was rather luxurious, the tables were made of a fine wood, crafted to perfection, the chairs were upholstered with an extravagant shade of red. The fluorescent lights on the ceiling illuminated the restaurant with a warm tone, giving the sense of home. Popuri felt like she was seated at a five star restaurant. 

“Thank You” said Popuri once she was seated by a sheep host.

The pinkette opened the menu and browsed her options. For a free restaurant they had offered a large array of meals, snacks, drinks and desserts. But Popuri had a desire for one thing, eggs. 

~Eeeeh?!~ “No eggs! All I wanted was a nice plate of scrambled eggs!”

Popuri had began to call over a sheep waiter and began to express her discontent. 

“How can you not have any eggs! What kind of restaurant are you running here! I’ll let you know that I’ve sheered many sheep in my lifetime and your wool would make me a great outfit!”

On nearly any other day, Izuku might’ve just gone to Cereal Market to buy ingredients, and then go home and cook. But curiosity and the necessity to at least finish exploring the city center started him on his way to, well, Candyfloss Center. There were a couple of shops he immediately noticed were selling street food, but....

(...I’m really not sure what to buy. Surprisingly, there’s actually a couple of shops selling food from Japan that I’ve pretty much ate before, but then there’s some that I think I haven’t tried at all– then there’s the foods I’m assuming are internationally, so at least 80% of those I probably haven’t tried. I mean, I probably shouldn’t be considering this so deeply, but I don’t really have any money on hand-- this isn’t a lot of stardust, so I should make sure to check the prices so I don’t end up going over. The question is if I’d have to go back to the market to buy anything. Thing is, I could just walk back to the hotel to get the money I’ve had there– it’s in the center of the city as well, and I’d only have to go up one flight of stairs to go, but I might arrive at the market when it closes. This, however, should be unlikely if it takes less time for the line to progress and orders to be served, which successes after I... actually... get.. in line.)

In due time, the nearest street shop had grown a line of its own, sheep and people alike waiting- some taking odd glances at him due to his mumbling. (Just great, he muttered.) It was a short line for the time being, but he was sure it wouldn’t stay like that for long. Two thoughts assumed position- one told him to simply get in line and decide what to get then. However, he would be too far from the menu for most of his wait. Two... Two was to ask the woman nearby, who was close by and looking intently towards the food.

...Actually, maybe that’d work. Or maybe he’d waste his time. ...It was worth a shot, at least.

“Oh! Um...” He walked near her, a smile made out of nervousness and hope. “Excuse me, miss, but is there anything you’d suggest ordering from here?”

Hopefully he would be get an answer and be able to decide before the line near him grew into an even greater snake.

just hours ago eve discovered the kitchens in the moonpie motel. unfortunately for her, eve wasn’t much of a cook. she could cook simple things but it had been awhile so she knew it would require practice before she could make something edible. and even if she could, eve found that she was far too hungry to do it herself.

all of that leads eve to her current predicament; finding a place to eat. oh, if only she could find someone to recommend some places before she starves. thankfully for eve, it seemed liked today was her lucky day because as soon as she thought that she saw a women walking down the way. eve approached her to get her attention. “excuse me, miss? you wouldn’t happen to know any good restaurants around here, would you?”
