if u were bakugou's girlfriend (which u are) and got to pick out all his outfits what would you dress him in?

okay, okay first of all we gotta establish his style: he seems to favour baggier pants (🙄), and t-shirts. looser fits! i’ve always wondered if that was a deliberate choice on his part—if it hides his build (one of the manga extras says his fits tend to hide how explosively muscular he is), or if it’s like, a movement thing? like, if he had to spring into action while in his civvie gear. because his hero costume pants are also quite baggy, as well, and he tends to fling himself around like a small russian-child training for gymnastics gold medal in the olympics so—if i was buying him clothes, or trying to convince him to try new things, i’d probably keep that in mind. 🥹 because you never know when your rare date-night with your pro-hero boyfie is gonna be interrupted by some asshole with a attitude problem and a quirk to back it up!!! 🥺

so to start with, if i was sneaking pieces into his wardrobe, i’d stick with like, more of the same—the baggy pants, or at least wide-cut legs. maybe a couple of pants or shorts with a lower crotch? i would stick to blacks, and greens and oranges—his brand colours lmao—because he seems to like them. skull motifs, because i doubt great explosion murder god is ever really gonna outgrow that lmaooo. i would make a gift out of a really cool, expensive pair of sneakers. and then a little while later i would start trying to slip in a little more high end fashion. like a pair of tabi boots. 🥹 i’d try and convince him he needs a nice, tailored jacket, for fancy date nights although tbh i think those would be a rare occurrence lmfao. but once i had gained his trust with my choices, i would then slowly ramp up my campaign. 😈

we’re gonna start trying to introduce some creams, whites. bolder graphics. distressed denim. i might make a point of getting him a cool—skulls—bracelet or two, since hori’s drawn him in a couple in official art. i’d buy him a more upgraded, fancy pair of his church loafers lmfaooo. he seems to favour them outside of his hero getup and i’ve always wondered if it’s because he just can’t be fucked dealing with boots outside of his heroics? anyways. i would try and slip in something cutesy—like a decapitated teddy bear hoodie lmaooo—but if he never wore it or otherwise really hated it i would just pout and move on.

a lot of the pieces you see here are like—american and japanese streetwear brands, with a couple of fine-leather craftsmen sneaking in. i’d keep buying like that: japanese brands where the flagship store is tiny and makes you feel like you’re on the inside of a very sparse egg. local designers that try and incorporate some of those traditional physiques into their ranges: hantans in leather or a modern print, for example.

fine leather belts and boots would make more gifts—dickies work pants, because i think he’d appreciate the cut of them. the occasional techgear piece—pants cut like his pro-hero ones, for example. funny tees, maybe a vintage all might one, or an edgeshot piece. 🥺 i’d stay away from jeans just bc i think if he really wanted them he’d get ‘em from jeanist lmfaooo.

there’d be a real pleasure in playing dressups with a man that has the build of a literal superhero, lmfao. i would try really hard to honour his tastes though!!!! maybe wheedle and sulk and bribe with head scratches for more experimental pieces, or ones outside of his wheelhouse lmfao. like there was this really beautiful swan tapestry jacket on one of these sites that i think a man like bakugou—built like a god, with that intense ember glare and that shock of blond hair—would look ethereal in. 😩 but i like bakugou because he seems so decided, in a lot of things, lmfao, and if he didn’t wanna wear something, i think he just wouldn’t wear it. 🥹

"Deep breathes in, deep breathes out, it's okay, this is totally fine!" Tabi muttered to herself in deep worry, fiddling with the bottles of ingredients as she panicked. "It is totally normal to see fricking Neige Leblanche in NRC's Cafe Amor!!!"

Naturally, her eyes were drawn towards to customer who was sitting in the corner of the cafe. Even with a black bucket hat on his head as an attempt to "hide" his identity and wore an oversized leather jacket, it did nothing to mask his signature youthful face and amber doe eyes. Eyes that were currently...staring straight back at Tabi?!

Tabi hid herself behind a coffee machine, face burning as she hurriedly made the drink. Siren had already drilled the methods into all of the barista's brains so by the time her mind caught up to her subconsciousness, the drink was already perfectly made right in front of her.

She stared at the drink. It was a classic for all cafes - a simple hot chocolate topped with a generous amount of whipped cream. Even the innocence and beauty of the simple drink weren't enough to calm Tabi's racing heart or the blush on her face.

"Maybe...I could write something?" Her hand reached out to grab a Sharpie . "School must be tiring so....hmmm...."

Quickly, her mind supplied her with a classic flirty line that one of the customers, Melody Striker, used often as a playful tease on the Cafe Amor crew. Her eyes lit up as she scribbled it onto the hot surface of the cup, humming happily.

'Caution: If you were coffee grounds, you'd be espresso 'cause you're so fine.'

"Won't he find me weird?!" Tabi paused and whisper-shouted to herself. She stared wide-eyed at the coffee but she couldn't take it back now. It's already written on it after all. Taking deep breaths to calm herself, she raised her head and called out for him. Or, the name Neige went by in order to not be exposed in his enemy school.

"Happy? Is there a Happy here?"

Tabi watched with bated breaths as Neige calmly stood up and skipped over to grab his drink. His smile was blinding her and she was frozen in shock as he took the drink from her.

"Thank you very much, Miss!" He beamed at her. Tabi felt her heart skip a beat as he walked away. She sighed with relief, well that was finally over! She did it! She managed to "flirt" with one of the superstars of Twisted Wonderland - Neige Leblanche!

Humming a random tune stuck in her head, she continued to make the next drink, not knowing how the silly little line on the cup made Neige Leblanche's day.

alright we are outfit planning. take my hand and indulge in thinking about nart oc's clothing before i actually draw it.

thigh high black/dark brown leather tabi boots with a full but flexible sole - priority: climbing. secondary priority: making her thighs look good

regular sandals that are compatible with the tabi structure; she doesn't want the bottoms of her Specialty Boots to wear out on like, the regular road. she takes them off for work - priority: protecting her thigh high tabi boots

those very common biker short thangs that a lot of women in nart-world wear - priority: no non-sanctioned ass shots, no thigh rubbing

short black skirt - priority: freedom of movement, doesn't like to Only wear the shorts. secondary priority: she thinks it's cute. she sometimes removes this for work depending on how high-stealth it is.

wide-leg pants; she doesn't wear these often but sometimes you need pants. priority: most often wears them when she's cold or needs coverage for work. when she's wearing them she's usually also wearing cloth leg-guards/leg-warmer-looking thangs to keep the wide leg under control.

??? shirt - i have not figured out what her shirt looks like yet. it's either white or blue (?). priority: it's a shirt?

some kind of chest armor - it also overlays one arm (her injured one) asymmetrically and is the same color / leather makeup as her boots but is reinforced more than the boots are. priority: protect her sensitive organs and injured limb without getting in the way of her mobility.

some kind of belt and thigh strap - priority: helps her hold up her numerous inventory pouches and also keep her jacket tucked in one one side Fashionably

pouches - priority: a girl needs inventory. a girl who takes every cute chopstick rest she finds at restaurants needs additional inventory.

those straps that hold up robe sleeves - priority: tying haori sleeves up. she uses it to tie her haori shut also if she needs to and when she's not actively using it to do anything else it holds her hat on her back

long white (with other colors, but predominantly white) haori with non-standard split sleeves; it's longer than a normal haori and has an endless knot embroidered on the back in a mon fashion (the knot itself is not her clan sign though) - priority: it's rain-repellent and does okay at keeping her warm but its main purpose for Her is fashion and identification. takes it off for work.

blue karakusa-patterned neckerchief - priority: this one is the clan-ID and it's the most identification with her family she can bear to wear. secondary priority: uses it for the normal things you'd need one for - covering her face, emergency blood rag, etc.

large kasa (hat); it's in the super-wide super-flat style with a small point in the center - priority: keep the sun and rain off her head. secondary priority: protect from projectiles if that becomes an issue. tertiary priority: make her look unassuming. it's not quite farmer-style and it's much heavier than a standard hat (metal core), but it's lined on both the inside and outside with bamboo to make it look more like a regular hat. she's scratched her clan crest off of the metal underneath.

Sizhui had not really had any intention of stepping into this. Outside the men were acting odd. He had known the previous owner and something truly felt off. So the fact she was there was a surprise. Sizhui assumed he could simply slip in and shadow the idiots, until they opened fire and his reflexes kicked in. Though he did not show it he had been surprised she was there. It easily turned to having to defend himself since she assumed he was trailing her--he supposed it could look like that though wasn't the case at all.

The wind danced through his hair and around them forming a wind barrier against bullets. She used her Qi which also alerted him to her in the moment his eyes shifted back to her and he pressed his lips faintly. He was capable of making her stay against this wall until the danger had passed. Though her hand lingering on his chest left him wondering if she forgot it was there. He was a man who was a doctor and practiced law. It was the important part of what he did.

If Sizhui would have wanted to kill her he had her in his apartment and he fed her. He had no intention of causing her harm. He gave a hum. He certainly understood having to do certain things. He had a book of names as well. He was slowly working through because he was always meticulous when he planned things. He just glanced at her and dipped his head "Understandable." he stated and glanced to the hand in the air with a brow arched.

"I served with Doctors without Borders for two years." he answered her "I have seen some of the worst of people in third world countries, places where people will kill because they can." he shook his head. "I have no fear of any of this." it was the most he had said on the subject and the last he would say on the subject for now. "I did not know you were going in here, I followed them not you." he said simply though he smirked faintly at the annoyance. "You do not have to prove your worth to me Miss. Hua." he reminded her. "I am just your attorney."

"Do you wish me to answer that truthfully ?" he counted with a head tilt the violet eyes had taken an almost serpentine quality at the attitude. "I am excellent at staying under the radar, I move swiftly and quietly." he shrugged "My friend sold it to the local land relator, the land relator sold it to scum." he was already moving his long brown jacket had come off and was folded to be placed in the cat carrier. He frowned and the first hint of emotion touched his face. "Children you say." he could care less about a man who was also skilled in murder. The children however that made his unhappy.

He was already freeing Cloud and the cat knew what Sizhui wanted from him. Cloud was almost a familiar really. The Cat bumped his head into Sizhui's face for pets and loves. Which was given.

"Couldn't happen to a nicer person." he agreed Sizhui pulled a pair of black gloves from the side of the cat-bag. And the dark wraps went around his hands." I am likely not what anyone thinks I am." he shrugged "Do not concern yourself with me though, I will carry my own weight. Here let me confirm your suspicions of me." he stated. He let his hair down from the bun it had been in. He pulled on a long black over hanfu speed dressing as it were. Expensive leather shoes joined his coat and black tabi boots went on his feet. She was curious she was suspicious. He pulled the handle of his suitcase and twirled the two blades, which was tucked into his belt.

"That's not what I mean, I mean you have assets that you have to cover and pay taxes on." he explained as he prepared himself and Cloud wove around Mulan's feet giving her attention for addressing him. "You need to explain this income, I can handle that. I need to know what they are though." he stated "I also need to have transparence become of things like this, I need to know if someone might come for me out of association--which is fine by me. I just hate when people get their blood on my clean floors."

Cloud made a trilling sound in his throat, and blinked at the men in the picture. Than he turned and darted into the dark, they could not hear him when he moved Sizhui's phone showed darkness and that the cat was using the sides of the walls to keep from the water where needs be. However, the camera adjusted to the dark, to give them a good layout of what was ahead of them.

Sizhui followed he didn't wait to be invited to go. His suitcase disappeared into the sleeve of the hanfu he wore. Clearly magical.

Faye Wong’s Cult Fashion Looks, From Margiela to Vivienne Westwood (2022)

1. Vivienne Westwood dog print corset, 1992

Before they became popular with the likes of Bella Hadid and Kourtney Kardashian, Wong performed in a Vivienne Westwood corset from the brand’s “Always on Camera” fall/winter 1992 collection. This one is distinguished by its puppy print, taken from the art of 18th-century English painter Thomas Gainsborough. Wong’s accessories, featuring layers of beads and a cross necklace, was also an edgy styling trick borrowed from the godmother of punk.

2. Plastic slip dress and mohair knit crop top, 1993

In a look that is quintessentially ’90s, Wong wore a see-through slip dress and a crop top to perform at a music awards in 1993. It has certainly lived on in fashion moodboards: 29 years later, a similar outfit was worn by pop star Olivia Rodrigo for her Sour tour.

3. Ann Demeulemeester backless top and leather pants, 1996

Wong threw on another daring look when she returned to the stage in 1996, this time pulling off a full look from Ann Demeulemeester’s spring/summer 1996 collection that made her resemble a rockstar.

4. Ann Demeulemeester asymmetrical jacket, 1996

Wong demonstrated her penchant for the Antwerp Six designer yet again by wearing this striking suit jacket that came with only one shoulder.

5. Yohji Yamamoto Harlequin coat dress, 1997

For the cover of her self-titled album, Wong transformed into a goth goddess by wearing a long checkerboard coat from Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto’s fall/winter 1997 collection.

6. Helmut Lang top and slit skirt, 1997

Wong certainly embraced ’90s minimalism, as this Helmut Lang ensemble she wore for a magazine shoot shows us.

7. Raf Simons cobweb knit top, Jurgi Persoons skirt, Jeremy Scott’s sole-less heels, 1998

Avant-garde Belgian designer Jurgi Persoons had only opened his eponymous label two years before Wong sported one of his pieces, which is extremely telling of the singer’s pre-Internet intuition of what’s cool. Besides styling it with a Raf Simons grail piece, what makes this outfit all the more impressive are the sole-less shoes from Jeremy Scott: Wong is the only person to wear them off the runway.

9. Custom Titi Kwan knit dress, 2010

Besides sourcing pieces from the edgiest fashion brands around the world, Wong also turned to her longtime stylist Titi Kwan for dramatic ensembles to take to the stage in, like this voluminous textured dress. 

10. Alexander McQueen skull dress, 2011

A year after Alexander McQueen’s death, Wong performed in a dress from the British designer that featured his famous skull motif.

11. Custom Titi Kwan crystal chandelier dress, 2011

Forget swinging from the chandelier; Wong sang in one for a concert in Taipei, a feat achieved with the design brilliance of Titi Kwan and over 10,000 sparkling Swarovski crystals.

12. Céline turtleneck and pleated skirt, 2016

Even when dressing down, Wong opts for a fashion label unlike any other: old Céline, helmed by Phoebe Philo. The singer is a known fan of the brand, having made rare public appearances to attend its fashion shows.
