Is Great wearing these asymmetrical shirts to show how off-balance he's currently feeling? I hope so because I love when plot lines translate into a character's wardrobe choices.
It honestly would make sense because the anomaly always seems to be on his left side, closest to the heart, which could be in reference to the myocarditis the other patients with the same abilities have experienced.

If I understand correctly, Babe's ability to get pregnant is not one of his powers. Rather, it's just his nature as an alpha. The same goes for Charlie. They both can get pregnant if they have unprotected sex with an enigma.
Now this raises an additional question: Since Charlie siphoned his powers, is Babe currently a human or just a powerless alpha (i.e. his genes are still intact)?
If he is just a powerless alpha, Babe can technically still get pregnant. The big difference is that the 99% probability that his children would have special abilities drops astronomically.
Okay but the question is, when Charlie sleeps with Babe and steal Babe's powers, does the mpreg come with the powers too, like is mpreg sexually transmissible in the show

from the Tolkien Society:
When The Return of the King was published in 1955, Tolkien created Appendix C which did not contain a wife for Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry). In the Note on the Text by Douglas Anderson in recent published copies of The Lord of the Rings, Douglas wrote “Soon after this he sent a small number of further revisions to Ballantine for the appendices, including the now well-known addition of ‘Estella Bolger’ as wife of Meriadoc in the family trees in Appendix C.”
Additional information on Estella Bolger is given in note one of The Family Trees chapter of The Peoples of Middle-earth (edited by Christopher Tolkien) “On one of his copies of the First Edition he added to the genealogy of the Tooks… ‘Estella’ as the sister of Fredegar and her birth-date 1385; and to the Brandybuck genealogy he added to Meriadoc ‘= Estella Bolger 1385’, noting beside this that he told a correspondent in 1965 that ‘I believe he married a sister of Fredegar Bolger of the Bolgers of Budgeford’.“
Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions are auctioning the letter mentioned in The Peoples of Middle-earthon the 22nd October 2015 in their 20th Century Books and Works on Paper sale in London.

Another thing I've been thinking...
The fabric Tony got Virginia for her to make her shepherdess outfit, it's only seen in the skirt. Which makes me think, what if she asked someone for the corset and the boots? In this case, the lady that let them sleep in the barn.
I know it's a weak theory, but the difference of fabric between the dress, the corset and the boots does make one think. Well, at least it made me think xD

Omg thank you; this is SO fascinating lol I know that we're already half way through the series, but I really hope they delve more into the worldbuilding. I mean, they already threw mpreg on the table so why not a little extra ya know?
Charlie is still a mystery to me (I wanted to use the word "enigma" but... lmao), so I hope he finally drops the mask and we get to see the real him sometime soon. And I want to see him use his other powers (he has so many 😳).
It looks like A LOT is going happen in the next episode, so I'm really looking forward to it. I know many people were disappointed and taken aback by how easily Babe forgave Charlie in the last episode, but I feel like the writers are setting Babe up to have a major emotional breakdown after he finds out who the enigma is—it will all come crashing down after he connects the dots. And I think his suppressed feelings of betrayal and anger towards Charlie will come to the surface along with everything else. I hope I'm wrong for my sake because watching Pavel cry absolutely guts me (it's that quivering bottom lip I just 😭), but I want to be right because Babe has not fully processed his emotions and he desperately needs to.
Anywhoodles, thanks again for sharing the cursed knowledge and I look forward to more of your thoughts as the series goes on.
Hi Jane! Thank you for answering my question :D Unfortunately, I now have MORE questions and as the one cursed with the knowledge of this omegaverse, you're the only one I can ask *nervous laughter* sorry
Do they explain the levels of Charlie's absorption powers and how they work in the novel? We know that he absorbs powers through touch and is able to siphon more the closer his is to someone. And you said in the tags that he somehow changed Babe's DNA (that's crazy btw???). Can he change the DNA of everyone he absorbs powers from or just those he is intimate with?
Oh that's okay. I aim to spread this cursed knowledge to everyone who will listen. But also the worldbuilding in the novel is actually really fascinating and I'm having a lot of fun with it (for someone who knew nothing about omegaverse before).
The novel goes into a lot of detail with Charlie's powers and some of it is spoilery for stuff that is yet to happen in the series. But basically Charlie inherited his powers from his mother who was also an alpha (no word on his father). She must have had somewhat different powers though because they only noticed when Charlie stole her powers. Those powers later vanished when she died.
Charlie needs to be close to someone to absorb their power. Babe mistakingly believes that it's through sex but Charlie probably does it through touch alone because by the time he meets Babe he already has a lot of powers (and he's a virgin so things don't add up otherwise lmao). I'm not sure I remember them all but he can change his scent, detect lies, put people to sleep, cause hallucinations, slow his own heartbeat... and then he also absorbs Babe's super senses.
There's no talk about genes or dna at all but something within Babe must change after Charlie absorbs his powers so he becomes worthless for Tony's breeding program. That or Tony is just really stupid. 🤡
It's later said that powers are directly linked to who people are (both as an individual and as their secondary gender) so taking away their powers somehow changes them fundamentally. It usually can't be done and will kill them. Even with Charlie it's more like stealing (e.g. if Charlie dies the powers return to their original owner; and if the original owner dies Charlie no longer possesses their power either).

Ryu has told Q twice now that he quits and no longer wants to play for the gang so the consequences of the last game are on Q for (1) not respecting Ryu's decision to quit and go back to school, and (2) trying to guilt/bribe Ryu into playing "just one more game" knowing that he's already made his decision.
Should Ryu have called Q to let him know that he changed his mind? Sure, but based on what we've seen so far (i.e. the kidnapping), I don't blame him for failing to do so.
And although Ryu knows who Boss is, it's apparent that Q has been shielding Ryu from Boss and how dangerous he actually is so again, even though he's coming from a good place, that's on Q. Because if Ryu was fully aware of the situation, he may have acted differently but we'll never know.
Ryu is far from an ingrate and has been quite loyal to Q up until recently, but he's a young kid who is running from a mysterious traumatic past and was lucky enough to cross paths with Zen again, a friend/crush who reminds him of when things were good in his life, of when he was happy. You don't have to find their little food date romantic, but hating Ryu for the reasons you stated is a bit of a stretch, no?
TLDR: Not too much on my son.
So, let me get this straight.
Q has so far been consistently shown to protect Ryu at all costs.
Ryu ditches Q at the first opportunity to have a cute little food date with his middle school crush while Q is apparently risking seriously worsening an injury that's already bad enough he can't really play anymore to bail out Ryu, AGAIN.
And I'm supposed to find that romantic?
Because currently all it's doing is making me kind of hate Ryu.

Payu’s racing suit: A masterclass in foreplay and kink exploration
One helluva title, huh? Well listen, I’ve been cursed with a great attention to detail (the notes app is sick of me atp) and an even greater desire to share so here we are. Wanna come along for the ride?
It's race day and this is the first time we get to see Payu in his gear, hence this very important full-body shot for which audience is quite grateful (I took the liberty of speaking for all of us, but if you disagree, remember that denial is a river in Egypt 😌). Though we will come to see later on, that no one is as grateful as Rain.
One thing about Rain, he's going to brat. And as amused as Payu is, he's going to nip it right in the bud (hair tousle, my beloved 😭). That aside, we know that Payu is almost always in tune with Rain, and he can clearly see that baby boy is more than loving how he looks in his racing gear. And Rain saying that his suit is cool a second time gives Payu the confirmation he needs, and an opening for foreplay and the exploration of Rain's budding cosplay kink.
Now despite rendering Rain parched and speechless at that thought of him stripping out of his gear, leave it to Payu to take it to the next level.
Rain is visibly excited. And although he has not verbally responded, his body language is speaking volumes, even if at this point he doesn't fully get what Payu is implying.
Payu has essentially given Rain the permission to dress him within the boundaries of cosplay, and confirms this by asking Rain to help with putting on his gloves.
Now I'd like to think the purpose of Payu's request two-fold: (1) to show (just the audience atp because Rain doesn't understand what's happening yet) that he’s noticed the beginnings of Rain's kink and (2) to engage another one of Rain's senses as he continues their foreplay. So far there's been sight, sound, smell, and now Payu has added touch.
We all know that Payu probably entertained the idea of having Rain go full-contact right in the middle of the garage, but he still has a race to win so the gloves will have to do for now.
The race is over and Payu has fulfilled his promise to Rain: he has claimed victory unscathed. And now Payu is looking forward to his reward: reaping the benefits all of that glorious foreplay.
By the time they get home, Rain is damn near feral. He’s so turned on that even Payu is pleasantly surprised. And honestly can we blame Rain? We’ve established that Payu looks hot in his racing gear, but he looks even hotter winning in his racing gear. The latter is not lost on Rain and it’s showing in the way he’s kissing and touching Payu.
Ah yes, the touching … let's focus on that.
As they’re kissing, Rain’s hand glides along Payu’s side, pulling him close, and lingering for a bit to feel the fit and structure of the suit against Payu's body — the smooth feel of the elbow pad and the grain of the leather on Payu’s ass.
Side note: I find it fascinating that Payu starts mirroring Rain’s movements for a bit. I don’t know whether they’re just really locked in and hot for each other or it’s meant to be a form of subconscious reassurance for Rain (both. both is good.), but whatever it is seems to be working because Rain’s energy is at 1000%.
Baby boy is so lost in the sauce that even palms and strokes Payu through the suit (he really said "all hands on di—" I'm sorry lol), later pulling him close to feel the full weight of all of that leather on his body.
Now, we could say that this is just the way people touch each other while in the midst of a pre-sex make out session, but that is not the case here. Payu can feel the difference and remarks on it, continuing their earlier conversation at the garage.
Another side note: Imagine being so in tune and obsessed with your partner that you're able to continue conversations hours later as if the passage of time doesn’t exist. Absolute insanity.
Anyway~ naked and deep in throes of passion, it's at this point they switch gears for a bit (pun intended) with it being Rain's turn to do the talking.
From the garage up until now, Payu has a created a safe space for Rain to release his inhibitions (s/o to my girl Natasha Bedingfield 🎶) and explore this new side of himself. And while that's true, the rules established in their D/s relationship are still in place. One of them is no swearing. But Rain is feeling carefree and especially bratty, so he levels up the dirty talk, adding some profanity to spice things up.
They both know that a punishment is inevitable, but there's some nuance involved. Rain is the midst of self-discovery, so Payu opts for a less severe punishment for the swearing. He bites Rain's lips, but he does it with degree of playfulness that encourages Rain to continue. Without the swearing, of course.
Taking the hint and most importantly, staying on theme (i.e. riding Payu like a finely-tuned motorcycle … again, I'm sorry lol), Rain takes over both verbally and physically, and it is absolutely doing it for Payu.
In fact, Payu is so pleased that he offers Rain a lifetime subscription of free riding lessons. All jokes aside, the way that Payu responds (in that he mirrors Rain's word choice) shows that he is enjoying this cosplay scene just as much as Rain.
Thoroughly spent and content after crossing yet another finish line for the day, Payu reassures and encourages Rain once more. And in turn, Rain checks in with Payu confirming that everything was enjoyable for the both of them.
Communication? We love to see it.
Even while basking in the afterglow of their bisexually-lit post-coital bliss, that race suit is still on Rain's mind. Again, can we really blame him? He realizes that the cosplay aspect of it is something that he likes. And although things seemed to come naturally to him, this is still very much uncharted territory for Rain. Payu acknowledges this and provides aftercare in the form of teasing encouragement, promising to purchase a few costumes for later cosplay sessions.
Rain may not be ready to fully accept his newfound kink, but knows that he can explore it further with Payu whenever he's ready. And the open and consistent communication they've had during this time will help them build a solid foundation to do that.
If you made to this point, thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed and I'll catch you in the next one :)
Bonus: An update from the special episode
A few months have passed and as you can see our lovely couple has indeed gone on to further explore their cosplay kink.
AND they even added a few others to the mix. Good for them and may the kinks be ever in their favor.

Timelines, Jewelry, and Sex? Oh My!
Despite all efforts to keep myself from constantly overanalyzing love scenes on this site, here I am once again. And this time I've brought three (3) of them!
It was honestly inevitable because in a series like this where sex quite literally drives the plot, these scenes are necessary to understanding the story and characters, and in turn must be discussed. That said, walk with me lovelies. We have a lot to cover. Theories and takeaways are in blue, and questions and discourse are welcome.
Great and Tyme's love scene was so beautiful and truly a joy to witness which is why it pains me to say that it was not real. At this point, we can all agree that there are multiple timelines in play. That's why I think their love scene and the moments that lead up to it were what Great wishes their relationship was like if he had made all the right choices and met Tyme under different circumstances.
I think their relationship started with a one-night stand possibly initiated by Tyme to get closer to Great and his family.
Now before I attempt to provide evidence to support my thesis, I need to point out one thing about the timelines—they are parallel. Great's first 4-minute out of body experience establishes that point.
Sure, going back in time allows him to make a different, often better choice, but the timeline in which he made his initial choice continues.
That is why we see him wake from the "nightmare" of seeing Manee lying dead on the ground after he hits her and drives off. That timeline is still in motion and part of him has experienced and is still experiencing it.
The notion of parallel timelines is further supported by the final scene in episode 4 where we see two timelines seemingly collide as Dome returns home in one and is dead in another.
I highly recommend reading this post by @becauseimanicequeen which has an extraordinary breakdown of possible timelines and the differences between them.
Taking what we've seen so far into account, my theory is that each 4-minute jump creates a new timeline or a new branch in an existing timeline that later merges back into it's parent timeline while all events and memories remain intact. Lukwa provides a bit of insight on this during her interview with Dr. Den:
What I plan to discuss in this post is based on the premise that there at least 4 timelines in play for Great-Tyme's part of the story:
Great hits Manee and drives off → has his first 4-minute jump (4MJ) → a new timeline is created; this one continues with memories intact → ?
Great hits Manee, stays, and calls for help → visits her at the hospital and delivers flowers to her room where they talk for a bit → bumps into Tyme and tries to leave, but ends up having a 4MJ → a new timeline is created; this one continues w/ memories intact → ?
Great leaves the flowers he brought for Manee at the nurse's station → first instance of seeing visions of he and Tyme having sex on 2 different occasions → bumps into Tyme, says sorry, and helps him pick up the papers → Title kills Dome and Great has a 4MJ → a new timeline is created; this one continues w/ memories intact → (this is where Tonkla and Win would come in, but they're not my focus atm) → ?
Great saves Dome and takes him to the hospital → Tyme sutures his wound; Great recalls visions of him riding Tyme → Tyme saves him from being choked out/killed by Title in the garage → Tyme brings Great his favorite iced tea and is rejected when he asks Great out → Great has a 4MJ, explains what's been going on to Tyme and asks him out → claw machine date at the mall and almost kiss in the car (interspersed with another round of visions of his other self and Tyme from T2 sleeping together; I'll explain later) → Tyme attacks Korn looking for answers about Nan's whereabouts → Great confronts Tyme at the hospital → has a second 4MJ and promises to help find Nan → Great finds Nan, but hesitates and fails to save her → has a third 4MJ, manages to save Nan, and escapes with Tyme's help → they quickly drop Nan off at the hospital and skip town → sleep together
Since Great has had three 4MJs in T4 (the current timeline), it is plausible that 3 additional timelines may have been created but I don't think that's the case because (1) four is a thematic number in the series and (2) T4 is the timeline that offers the most continuity in sequence of events.
It's also interesting to note that Great's 4MJs have become more frequent and life-threatening which could mean that he's on the right track and/or nearing the end.
That aside, the timeline I want to focus on is T2, which is where I think one of their sexual encounters takes place. Let's take a look at the timeline as if Great's 4MJ does not occur:
Great hits Manee, stays with her, and calls for help
Great visits Manee at the hospital and delivers flowers to her room where they talk for a bit
Great, unnerved by his conversation with Manee, bumps into Tyme and leaves
Great meets Tyme at a bar and they end up having a one-night stand
This scene was the sole catalyst for this post because Great seems to be wearing the same outfit he had on when he visited Manee at the hospital—jewelry and all.
Our rich boy may like wearing black and white, but he is not one for repeating outfits.
While chatting at the bar, they're conversation indicates that they remember bumping into each other at the hospital. However, unlike in T3 and T4, they don't seem to know each other beyond that. It's possible that Tyme may have some info on Great because he is investigating his family, but they're essentially strangers both to us and each other. This Dr. Tyme (T2) is not the rizz-less one we know and love from T4 because he manages to charm his way into spending the night with Great (this is speculation; Great very well could have done the charming and Tyme got lucky). How do we know this? Great's visions from the first time he bumped into Tyme at the hospital (T3) and the almost-kiss in the car (T4) show us what happens next.
Great-Tyme are seen holding hands as they enter Great's condo. I will admit that this is quite familiar behavior for people who've essentially just met, but holding hands with your one-night stand is entirely possible. That aside, if you look closely you'll notice that Tyme is wearing a silver paperclip bracelet and Great is wearing his favored watch.
These are the same pieces of jewelry that they're wearing when Tyme kisses Great's chest on the pool table ... which is insane choice of a flat surface to start a romp on when the bed is literally a few feet away, but I get it. Where else would one serve a full-course meal if not on a table?
Anyway~ Tyme is also wearing a necklace which will be of note in a sec, but what I find interesting is the stark difference in this Tyme's gaze and demeanor in comparison to the one in episode 4. He appears to be more confident and decisive.
A man on a mission and who knows exactly what he's doing. That said, if we ever get the entirety of this scene, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't kiss Great on the lips because there seems to be an emotional distance between them that is not present in the love scene we saw in episode 4.
Now back to Tyme's necklace. He appears to be wearing it in another scene from the trailer where he's standing next to Great's window so it's safe to assume that it's the same day.
I can't decide whether his gaze is menacing or not, but he is holding a rag and something black and shiny that looks like a switchblade a phone so we'll just have to wait and see.
So far we've looked at 2 of the 3 Great-Tyme love scenes shown in the trailer. The third, which also takes place in Great's condo, is one that also gives me pause because once again, Tyme's gaze is different.
Something about the way he looks at Great does not read as the Tyme we've been seeing over the last 4 episodes.
But what's most notable to me in this love scene is that neither of them is wearing any jewelry. Great doesn't wear jewelry at home, so not having any jewelry on in this scene isn't out of the ordinary. Tyme on the other hand, is NEVER without his smartwatch. And as I'm writing this, I've realized that we've never seen any indication of what time it is when Tyme is alone. The only instance we've seen a clock in direct relation to Tyme is on his phone when he exchanged numbers with Great at the skatepark.
So, is any of what we've seen so far real?
Yes and no. The only thing that has been real and consistent throughout Great-Tyme's storyline is the certainty of death; impending or otherwise. And because of that, neither Great's nor Tyme's perspectives are reliable.
It may feel like we are getting the full picture, but there is always something missing in between.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. Now off to episode 5 to see how wrong I am XD

Don't mind me ... just thinking about what looks like Joe smiling in response to Ming blowing his back out quietly calling him "Phi" in this midst of this sinus-tingling rail session All jokes aside, this moment is quite significant because up until now Ming has been using "Khun" (an honorific somewhat similar to Mr. in English, which is a neutral, polite, and formal title you use with strangers etc.) to address Joe 2.0, so switching to "Phi" (less formal than Khun; lit. older sibling, but is used to address someone older and familiar while still maintaining a level of respect; often written as P' before a name/nickname) at this point in time is both prayer and credence that the Joe before him is P'Joe, the one that he knows and loves

A fcking legend indeed. Just look at Payu's face and the change in his expression. The eyebrow raise and head tilt say it all. Rain knew exactly what he was doing and Payu didn't stand a chance because it's exactly what he wanted

YORYAK x WANDEE "NO KISSING" CHECKPOINT [2/4]
Though his body is yours, what about his heart? Does it belong to you? We're just fake boyfriends. His heart doesn't belong to me.
Can you believe that I almost dropped the cyans and greens from this set in favor of pure blue? To do this, I would've had to remove (Yak's) yellow from the base colors. Luckily I remembered the wise words of @respectthepetty #the colors mean things
Dee's fake blue (Petty, YOUR MIND!!!) is all up and through this set. He is putting up one hell of fight, but he does falter at times which is shown when scenes lean more cyan (his fake blue + Yak's yellow). If we were to take it a step further and factor in how cyan is made (a combination of blue and green (i.e. blue + yellow), so blue times 2), Dee is throwing hands left, right, and center in this fight (all of Yak's coaching is really paying off :'D). But despite his efforts, he sometimes falls deeper and is flanked by green in those moments when Yak's yellow is strongest and he almost gives in to his true feelings in the midst of the fake-ness.
Needless to say, I am absolutely living and cannot wait to see how this goes. Because from the very beginning, whether it’s in Dee's true purple-magenta or fake blue, Yak has been fully immersed and present in the moments they share. His heart does belong to Dee, and he's made his choice whether he knows it or not. It is now up Dee to own up to his feelings and make his.

I need everyone to get on their Zoom right now because of course Tonkla feels like a more fleshed out character. His entire story takes place in reality. We were never presented with an idealized version of him crafted in the minds of persons burdened with immense grief and regret toeing the line between life in death. His motivations have been laid out before us and do not require any further contemplation. Great and Tyme's story, on other hand, requires us to read between lines—every single one of them.

Will the real Khun Vad please stand up?
Because this new one's smile is unsettling...
Am I trippin' or did anyone else also find her smile unsettling? Ominous even?
I don't know how to explain it but something feels off... like she's trying to feign sincerity but it fails to reach her eyes
Which is quite different from the way OG Khun Vad use to smile and different from the way Vee smiles
Either way, something is not right and we'll find out what it is next week ... Wednesday come by quickly, my dear!

There are only three Master Numbers in Numerology, double-digit numbers that hold a tremendous amount of power and meaning [...] Along with 22 and 33, the number 11 is one of these Master Numbers. 11 is the bringer of spiritual awareness and a devout supporter of humankind. It is truly a messenger of the universe. The most remarkable characteristic of the Master Number 11 is its connection to a higher source of wisdom. It is intuitive to the point of being psychic, channeling its knowledge and meaning from a spiritual source. But the Master Numbers have a responsibility, and it's the number 11's duty to use this gift of awareness to deliver cosmic truths that encourage humanity.
