Ok with the vault opening tomorrow here are my final predictions:

- Grayson is one of the pov characters, I think we all know this by now. He is the character most connected to this new book. He is the only one, besides Avery, named dropped in the synopsis and is apparently “amisdts” it all, plus the whole “if you've ever wondered what it's like falling in love with Grayson hawtorne” thing in the interview. So yeah I'd be surprised if gray WASNT one of the povs

-Phone girl is another pov, ik this is being debated right now and that we've all really been in our delulu era coming up with these headconons lol but I really think this is going to be her book. Mostly bc of ALL the calla lilys on the cover. she is the only character tied to those. Jlb said there was easter eggs on the cover and in tbh for tgg. Why else even include this mystery girl at all. Plus she would have her own reasons to play the game and she could give us the pov as a player

Now those are my willing to bet a Hawthorne sum of money on guesses

Now I have a few options for the third pov

1. Eve- she’s obv up to something evil and I feel like jlb really wants to give eve a redemption arc much to most of our disinterest

2. Slate - if eve is going to do some evil shit but jlb doesn’t want to give us her pov then she might give us slate pov and make him a player and have him be the tie to eve w/o making her a player

3. Another completely new character/ or a character introduced in tbh but as a player in tgg, idk just feel like it

I don’t think any of the characters from og tig will be pov characters here, Ik disappointing but idk it’s just my gut feeling

Now for two main side characters

1. Avery- I just can’t see her NOT in this book, it’s her game she’s going to be IN it

2. Jameson for the same reasons

other options:

Gigi and Sav- I feel like they will DEFINITELY have a part in this series I just don’t know how big, plus the whole potential love with slate and Gigi and the cliffhanger about eve and Sav (one of them could also be pov characters but I just don't see that happening rn)

Slate- if he isn’t a pov then I still think he’d be a player on eves part

Xander- PLSSSSSSSS

Now for the secret :

Idk man we could find out that Tobias Hawthorne is alive who tf knows

Maybe PG is a Rooney, maybe Alice Hawthorne already showed up, maybe the Hawthorne money is at stake, maybe we'll find out that “eve inows”

Its the wild card but I for sure know it will be the last card revealed

Now one last crack theory about grays role in the game:

Grayson might be a player in the game. If he is “amidst it all” he might actually end up IN the game. I thought maybe he was running the game at first or coaching but if anyone would be coaching it would be jameson and it says Avery is running the game. THEY are the gamemasters, so idk what Grayson “vital role” is but maybe he’ll be a Donatella Dragna, he’ll be there right alongside the players, maybe not a “player” but player adjacent idk it’s just a thought me and my friend had lol

sharra borell — from house borell for the conquering tl. mostly just there so i can get some background for other ocs but she’s the eventual wife of daegon targaryen (another oc) and mother to maesys (another oc who is the start of the currentl steelwater line for the hotd tl)

sandra underwood — another tcsmg baddie! she’s an up and coming children’s writer from florida who was traveling across country with her best friend to see and editor when they take a wrong turn in texas and fall into a lil trap laid by johnny and his brothers (leslie and very reluctant, kerry). she ends up finding herself trapped in the mill and had to put her trust i. kerry who helps her escape and the two end up having the slow burn of the century as they both escape to her grandparents strawberry farm

savannah alpert — RIP QUEEN! she’s haunting kyle’s narrative. she’s her older sister, the mother of adorn and girlfriend (lbr WIFE) to cj and everything they do now reflects her in some way, shape or form, she was the best of them and truly the heart and soul of their formed family until back in the QZ.

slater — i literally forgot his LEGAL name was kit, oops 🥴 he’s a tcsmg / dbd oc! in his tcsmg verse he’s a troubled teen (as i’m killed his dad in self defense when he was like fourteen, but dude had it coming!) and was sent to live with his aunt in VA. he ends up being kinda ostracized and always getting into trouble, but, he meets alondra and the two immediately fall into a friendship that quickly develops into something else (nicholas sparks wishes he was us). unfortunately, the two are forced apart when they’re 18 and he ends up in prison she goes across the US. they’re reunited by happenstance when they pick him up hitchhiking (he’s just gotten out of prison) years later and it’s subsequently the night before they find themselves in the hands of the family.

in his dbd verse, his backstory is much different; he grew up with a dad in and out of his life and mother who didn’t gave the emotional capabilities to care for a kid. he eventually got himself straight for a time but after his mom passed he went off the deep end and the entity ended up taking him when he walked into the woods intending to end his own life. in this verse he forms a friendship and eventual relationship with @auricfog ‘s, jen doe.

sosie sanchez — another tcm (2000s edition) oc! her sister went missing (literally another victim of the crazies) some years before she was born and she’s had to deal with being the redo kid most of her life. her father is pretty absent and restrictive while her mother is overbearing and … not really capable of seeing her anyone else except a replacement for her dead sibling. when she’s 17 she ends up running away from home with a biker gang to like … stick it to het parents and it’s all fun and games until it isn’t anymore. she ends up having a fling with an acquaintance she knew from home who was in the group , deacon crawford, and he eventually convinced her to leave the lifestyle behind. she went back home, utterly defeated and what feels like years later is reunited with duke (not on the best of terms) and gets stuck trying to survive a night of terror.

But the woman ... he found himself particularly drawn to her, subtly indicating his interest as he placed a hand on the top of her chair. “Join us for lunch, son,” Wilder urged Zane, the NYPD captain's insistent tone firm and persuasive. “That’s an order.” Zane considered the invitation, his gaze flickering back to Sava. Motioning a passing waitress over, he swiftly delegated tasks with steel-cut precision to ensure his restaurant ran smoothly in his absence. Flashing Sava a charming smile, he pulled out the empty seat beside her and sat down. “How could I say no?” Tim's expression soured as he scrutinized Zane getting chummy with his wife. Sava responded with a playful scoff, rolling her eyes at Tim before flashing the restaurateur a kind smile. "Don’t mind him, he’s a little gruff." Zane’s interest was further piqued by Tim and Sava’s exchange, his brows furrowing curiously. “I didn’t catch your name.” “I’m Savannah Wu but call me Sava. I’m an LAPD detective, although I sometimes double as a hostage negotiator, and this is my husband Tim.” She reached for Tim’s left hand on the table and squeezed it three times, then intimately laced her fingers together with his. The way there are SO many moments where you genuinely can't tell if the actors were struggling to remember their lines or were being forced to improv because they were only given the bones of a scene, especially toward the end completed the experience. It is truly amazing to watch. Byron and Tammy are just absolute weirdos and I love them. That one scene where they're a split second away from like hissing--CLAWS ALREADY BARED--to tell the guys in the hospital to piss off.....perfection.

The world famous Dr Wachenstein and Helga were fucking amazing. I went back for this screenshot because I am still obsessed with this scene. Helga just straight puffing smoke on Michael's brain and eyeing her beloved doctor as he just has the time of his life showing off the fun of brains.

Also THE ENDING?????????????????? I was like 'oh so he's gonna die or they're magically gonna find a body for him'. But NO. They just went for it. They put that brain in a fucking fishbowl and rigged it to a video recorder so it could short circuit on booze while watching a strip show. Unbelievable. Incredible. Hope he never finds a body!
