missing my little boy considerably this afternoon. i plan to take a walk just so i can get the physical urge to abuse him out of my system. obviously nobody who’s reading this knows what he looks like, but i do. he looks like a victim. he looks so fucking easy to break. (he is.) when we first met, i had to struggle against the urge to emotionally abuse and manipulate him. (yes, he knows this; yes, he’s okay. he knows he’s very safe with me.) sometimes it comes creeping back. i guess this is one of those days, although i do have to admit i’m leaning more towards the physical aspect. i want him to cry and tell me he loves me while i hit him until i hear crunching and breaking. he does love me. i need to hear it, too, even if it’s between hyperventilating sobs.

So now that Syrah has found a use for her curse in fighting, what are some non-violent ways her nose can help with the club?

Modern Times Oracle of the Bottle Sour Ale with Syrah Grapes (Picked up at the brewery itself in Point Loma). A 4 of 4. Deep red color and very wine-like in the nose with a clear and clean sourness to it. Relatively mild on the tartness compared to so many other breweries and some dark fruit and tannic notes, as you might expect. It's not the most complex thing ever yeast-wise, which I kind of enjoy, as it paired quite well with food.
