here is the scene:

 I took a step towards her as I did all her tendrils shot at me with blades ready. I didn’t move, not wanting to think I was there to harm her.

 “ What are you doing here, mean spider?” 

  I look down at the voice to see Kuro sitting there. Its eyes were closed and it was shaking a bit. It doesn’t look well as it looks like it is melting into the floor and I realize why. It’s barely in the 10-meter range. I was about to pick it up but Shade’s tendrils stopped me from getting any closer to Kuro. 

 “ Just leave me alone.” Kuro said as it lay down flat on the floor. It looked so defeated, like that spunk that it had was just gone. I kept looking at Shade who still not moving.

 “I can’t do that. We-

 “ Still need me? Yeah right, you guys are the heroes, you can take care of this yourself.” 

 I sat down next to Kuro as it talked, remembering it told me that I was still talking to Shade even if it was not directly. 

“We need help from someone from this earth too.”

 “ Then asked for Zee, They are good at getting the information you need.”

 “Shade, look. I know it is hard for you. This world sees you as something you are not.”

 Kuro let out a cold laugh that gave me a worry chill down my spine. 

 “ There right, you saw what I was like. A monster. And don’t pull the ‘I’m just like you’ crap on me.”

 “That wasn’t you Shade. You were scared and hurting. It doesn’t define you-”

 I must have said something because the next thing I know I was pinned on the ground. She wasn’t using her tendrils, just strength. I thought she was weak from not eating anything for a while but she was still strong. I saw her face. I saw nothing but her rage in her eyes. Her eyes were blood red and her face morphed almost similar to a symbiote. The next thing I knew Shade was choking me.

 “ How the vuck would you know what defines me?! You're not some horrible lab experiment monster that is a ticking time bomb! Always waiting for the next time you lose it !! to hurt people you care about!” 

 I was losing air, fast. I closed my eyes and tried not to pass out, Shade was still not in the right frame of mind. I don’t know if it was the effect of the gas she was hit with or if it was the symbiote’s influence. Her grip was messing up my nano suit as some digital started to dissolve from my neck to my arm. Suddenly, her grip softened. I open my eyes to see Shade's eyes widen as she looks down at my arm. She saw it, my mark.

Shade only protective of Miguel when another symbiote try to get him. Miguel is her host and she make sure no one take him.
