"Winter lights "

I took a little break from my socials after the holidays. Now I'll be back to my regular schedule. During my break I dedicated some of my time to the #WondrousWinterTales art challenge. Although I am a bit behind in sharing them, I would like to share my painting inspired by the first prompt, "Antler Crown & Winterlight." I aimed to evoke a fairy tale atmosphere and experimented with different rendering techniques.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Queen who gave birth to a handsome prince. He was pampered by his mother Queen.

One day he said "Mother, someday I want to be like you. I will be a beautiful Queen." He was born to be a king and as the year passed by he choose to enjoy living life as a Queen and loving every prince on her way.

One day she met a King whom she falls in love but he was born a princess but chooses to live like a King.

And they live happily ever after.

Inktober day 3 "bait"

I just wanted to draw some waterlilies, with a mermaid drawing you in.

In front of my old home was a moat which was covered with waterlilies during certain times of the year. That was always soooo pretty. In Japan you had ponds who looked more like waterlily forests then ponds. #randomthought

I'm having a lot of fun playing with the colors. She turned out a bit more tropical then intended. So I'm considering giving her more fins.

More work in progress. I'm still experimenting with traditional media for this upcoming exhibition. This little portrait still need some work. It's going to be a cute small paintings with it's 18x24 cm ��

First day of inktober! I've decided to join this year. It's been a long time since I last used ink. I feel so out of practice the amount of time that I said ctrl+Z is absolutely ridiculous. I've gotten so used to working digitally.⠀

But it's a good practice and always fun to experiment. Most of my experiments stay hidden but this month I'll share them 😉⠀
