Day 1-Favorite Movie

As much as I LOVE The Last Jedi, I have to go with the one that started it all.

The first Star Wars film I ever saw in a theater. I still remember counting down the days until it came out. I remember the deafening cheers when the title blasted across the screen. The whoops and applause when we saw the Falcon, Han, Chewie, Leia.

It introduced us to fascinating new characters- a mysterious scavenger, a villain with a tragic past, a stormtrooper turned hero, a cocky pilot following in the footsteps of the Rebellion before him, and one adorable little droid.

And it gave us the cliffhanger of the decade.

In conclusion-

The best of the best? No.

Necessary? Not really.

Unforgettable?

Absolutely.

Any soft Reylo headcanons?

of course! (my headcanons are canon-verse but if ben had lived obviously, unless otherwise specified)

i like to think that after the war they’re the kind of couple that doesn’t really stick out within a group of friends like they all mess around and are playful and sarcastic towards one another but the fact that ben and rey are together hardly comes up aside from within digs from their friends. but then with that i think they love little touches and when they’re apart from their friends it looks to everyone like they’re in their own world. like they’ll be walking down the hallway, hands linked and heads angled in like they’re whispering secrets. they don’t even mean to do it it’s just how they are that when they’re together it’s like everyone else is gone. (sort of a la quiet uptown from Hamilton but not sad?) and i think everyone else on base talks about them being that way in a really sweet proud way.
