Thinking about how in the first chapter of GtN all we wanted for our hot funny charismatic orphan swordslady was for her to get out of that shithole cult with the two-faced no-good lying goth shrimp bitch. maybe find her parents.
and now all we want is like I HOPE HER DAD DIES and WIFE UP THE SHRIMP BITCH and JUSTICE FOR THE SOUL OF THE MURDERED EARTH

Not to dredge up the past, but. Could we ask if you know more details about what happened to this place and Rider? We know the gist of it, but. Did he face his end alone against Draco? And. If you happened to see a samurai swordslady in his party? And really, thank you for the hospitality, Gil.
Tumblr media
"There's not much to say. We discussed it, and the Rider suggested the plan. The odds of everyone dying, Servant or not, if we all charged the Beast at once were already high. But if he distracted the Beast and then used his Privilege to grant enough magical energy to everyone else in order temporarily and slightly offset the absence of a Master, the chances of victory increased dramatically."
Tumblr media
"That didn't mean it was a smooth fight. By the time the Sunbeam Row was evacuated, everyone was running off fumes and whatever magical energy Rider passed on from himself and the land was pretty thoroughly scorched from the battle. But we got the Beast to retreat and leave the Solar Cell entirely, which is a fine enough temporary victory. As a king, I'm satisfied enough with the result. As a Heroic Spirit, not so much."

for our next societal advancement I'd like the badass women* onscreen to stop wearing high heeled boots all the time. what reason would an alien or a seasoned warrior or a celestial being or an assassin or a pirate or a magic-user or a swordslady or a soldier or whoever whatever have for wearing impractical footwear? you need comfort, flexibility, stability, durability, not a fashion statement. so maybe the girl on your team is shorter than the guys. so maybe her armor or clothing is plain and practical. is she only a badass if she's also doing her cool moves in heels? the guys aren't wearing them. no more impractical heels! please!
(*this post is specifically about badasses that are involved in fighting scenes, not about the definition of a badass and certainly not an implication that women have to fight to be considered one.)

Since I did this with the dad characters....
(Once again, not including all my mother characters, just the ones I have up-to-date design for)
(Well, Yui still doesn't have full bio either tbf, and the image bases on her younger self; I do plan on at least trying to make her look somewhat older)
Also, this time around I'm including their images too from the start:
Tumblr media
Also like before, some characters are connected; Swordslady is Actual Adult In The Room's mother, Scary Healer Priestess and Epitome of Quiet Introvert are a couple.

So for ER AU I have...
Dragon obsessed sorcerer, working for Sellen. Wants to be the very best and catch 'em all sorceries. Also lacks faith.
Totally not snake noble lady who is having identity crisis for her origin - sets on travel. Very kind. Likes prawn. Has been seen in a gang with Patches and Boggart.
Swordslady with a terrible skin condition - can walk in rot without effect because she is rot.
Lady with high belief - who has also medical training - background in doing experiments on cursed. May call cosmic powers.

Another old original character design. I'm not really good at coming up with backstories for any original designs haha... She's just a random swordslady!

Parnassus all over.
Actually, I completed this one. But I'm still playing, because I want to do one last quest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nothing can stop Clio, when she's digging another archaeological thingy.
Not even pregnancy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kora turned out to be an amazing big sister to a newborn boy, Hyacinth.
Tumblr media
They look a lot like their mum.
I did change Hyacinth's costume, so he wouldn't dress just like one of the princes. Also, green seems to become him and Kora.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, when the kids are capable to take care of themselves, Clio can go back to fighting, archaeology and other hobbies.
Tumblr media
And Melpomene can stalk her again.

HEHEHE EXELLENT THINKING EXELLENT, A few things before I present my own theory:
The Hexenzircle are NOT afiliated with Celestia because I'm like 98% sure that the mother of the abyss herself, Rhinedottir, is a member!! (If not, then I still doubt that the Hexenzircle is Celestia-affiliated due to the fact that they're a group centered on the study of the ley lines and people like Alice and Mona are confirmed members (one of whom is kind of just. a sort of unstoppable force of destruction with who knows what power at her fingertips and the ability to even make those like Yae Miko cry, and the other is a highly skilled astrologer who DEFINITELY KNOWS MORE THAN SHE LETS ON (Khaenri'ahn star motif, her saying in the return to the Archepellago that astrology allows her to see almost straight to the reality of things, etc)
I'm going to be real with you I can't think too hard about time travel or my head gets twisted up so my theories don't generally involve the resetting of timelines/alteration of timelines/etc
OK SO
My running theory is that Khaenri'ah, as a nation, very much still exists. I think it's Abyss-tainted and it's extremely underground, but I think it still is, overall, The Nation Of Khaenri'ah. Rebuilt in it's own ruins and barely holding on. But it's not quite... consumed by the Abyss. There's enough of the real world there to sustain the nation's remnants without them being completely drenched in the Abyss, but there isn't quite enough there to keep them safe.
That main nation of Khaenri'ah, is what I think the Alberich family belongs too. I think (as stated in Kaeya's little family history note in Hidden Strife) the Alberich clan stepped up into a leading position, took the survivors, and managed to help carve a little place out for them to attempt to rebuild.
They have sent Kaeya to the main continent of Teyvat because they know that conflict with Teyvat will happen eventually, and they NEED someone there who understands the Teyvaten side of things. Someone who not only understands it but that the Teyvaten people also trust. Mondstadt was the safest choice (Barbatos is an absentee God 99% of the time, Dadaupa Gorge hosts a considerably stable community of Hilichurls that includes the remnants of the Eclipse Dynasty, the origins of some parts of Khaenri'ah are on the mountain Dragonspine as well as the remains of Durin, and Mondstadt is the city of freedom, so perhaps they'll have a more.... accepting view when the time comes.
I think that the end goal of the Alberich clan, and the main body of Khaenri'ah, is to just figure out a way to keep everything stable. They don't want to challenge the gods, they can't afford that, no, they just want maybe some trade agreements. Maybe some mutual aid arrangements between nations. Security. Safety. Something that benefits both sides so that maybe, just maybe, Celestia won't be so inclined to step in and destroy Khaenri'ah again
(Oh and I also think the Hexenzircle have connections all over the place I won't even try to pin them down to one side of the battle. They aren't Celestial allies though)
Oh but then there's the Abyss Order and the Fatui, who I see as two ends of one spectrum.
The Abyss Order, is running on revenge. They want to tear down the Heavenly Principals. They want the things that destroyed their home, their LIVES, their very concept of HUMANITY, to be GONE. They want to be free, and to them, that freedom is found through destruction. They are angry. They are so VERY angry.
I think Skirk is Abyss Order. She's a fighter. A swordslady (not to say that anyone on the other sides aren't, but her effect on Childe was one of pure bloodlust. Like an abyssal rot that she infected him with. Also because I think it would be cool.
I also think the Abyss sibling is on their side because they may have taken their journey though Teyvat in the direct afterward of the Cataclysm, they are much more accustomed to the rage and agony of those who curse the Gods and they feel obligated to help them. So they do
Meanwhile the Fatui are lead, very importantly, by a God and Pierro. Now, Pierro himself is interesting, because from what scraps of his lore we have, he predicted (through prophetic vision or just foresight we don't know) that mayybe delving into things like the Abyss would be an awful idea.
He was not listened to. Actually I theorize that he was cast out of Khaenri'ah specifically FOR standing his ground and going against people like the head alchemyst (Rhinedottir). So he went to the gods. Perhaps he went directly to the Tsaritsa. And he ratted them out.
THAT is why I think he is called a traitor. Because it's easy to blame him for the Cataclysm (even if it was inevitable. even if breaking through to the actual Abyss would always end in the Cataclysm. He is easy to pin the blame on). And I also think that's why he (and the Fatui) seek not ONLY to destroy the heavenly principals, but the Abyss itself. Both of the things that brought Khaenri'ah to it's end, he seeks to destroy in turn.
SO IN THE END YOU HAVE. Main Khaenri'ah (run by the Alberich clan, adds up to just people trying to find stability in the absoltuely shattered remnants of their nation), the Abyss Order (organized rage with the backing of the Abyss intent on destruction of the Gods), the Fatui (Organized rage with the backing of a God and a rag tag team of insanity (the Harbingers) intent on destroying both sides of the Abyss v Heaven war), and whatever the hell the Hexenzircle has going on. I am so serious when I tell you the Hexenzircle is like very much not Celestially aligned but also. Alice is a full member and if you've read the Teyvat Travel Guide you know that woman is just. CRazy wild
Sending another ask so the psot doens't get too long but YEAH I SPENT. A REALLY REALLY LONG TIME ON THAT MOUNTAIN. Actually back pre-sumeru when I had more time and energy (less school) I was extremely intense with my gameplay. I'm talking the Chasm 100%ed within give or take a week after it's release. Hours upon hours spent getting the map to full completion. It was actually INSANE.
ALSO. Also also. Opinions on the organization setup of Khaenri'ah/related groups bc like I KNOW that so far the only DRECTLY Khaenri'ah related groups are the Hexenzircle, Fatui and the Abyss Order but I have. A reallllly really strong feeling that there's a fourth group and that's the one Kaeya belongs to BUT. I am very curious as to what you think :3
100% chasm??? You are so fucking real for that, I could never!
Well, about the different organizations, i sure have some thoughts... There are probably innacurate to some oscure lore but hey, whatever...
So, the Alberich are definetely not connected to the fatui, but that should be a given at this point. The ideologies are just different, one wants to restore the homeland or some semblance of it, the other (Pierro) is described as a traitor to Khaenri'ah, does not seem to care for the restoration and his organazation mostly focuses on ending destiny and destroying celestia. Moreso the second than the first.
So the Alberich. I have a feeling that Skirk is an Alberich (you know Skirk, right? Childe's master in the abyss), because she is incredibly misterious, described as looming in the dark, ridicoulusly powerful and in the Abyss where it is speculated Khaenri'ah's survivors went. She's also speculated to be part of the Herzenicle but i don't think so becase she's only describe as a swordwoman and not as a witch.
Dain's also an alberich, imo. Since he's against both the abyss order and the fatui and he can't be part of the Herzickel.
My theory about the Alberich is deeply connected with my theory on the abyss sibling. Which is that the sibling went through the entire journey just as we did and challenged the Heavenly principals, who, since they were loosing, basically reset the entire timeline, choose the traveler as the new descender and pushed the sibling into the role of leader of the abyss to fill in the blanks.
This is because the only, as far as I'm aware, time we can hear about our sister's journey, like really and in detail, is through the Aranara who call them by a nickname and talk in riddles. Which would bypass Irminsul
There's one time from the fatui, i think, but I can't find it and it doesn't seem specific enough to be erased, plus pierro may know how to avoid Irminsul through codes and written "fake" languages.
Now, back to the Alberich. My theory is that the place the alberich had in the world is the equivalent of the fatui in our timeline. So all the fatui's plans are similar to the Alberich's, which would explain why Pierro seems to be able to tell the future. In this case Childe would be Skirk (since I think it'd be funny) and dottore would be rhinedottir (since, you know, insane scientist ect, ect)
Now, after the Alberich's plans failed (since they were using the sibling to defy the world) the intelligence network divided into two groups. Kaeya's father and company basically form the most insane case of maliscous compliance.
Like "technically" they follow the heavenly principals while slowly making sure that the heavens still are defeated. Pierro doesn't like that so he creates the fatui to continue the revolution.
Now the Herznickel I'm not sure about, haven't researched it much to be honest, but my gut tells me they are associated with Celestia. Not sure why, like I said, Haven't researched it, but i'd be glad to listen if you can disprove it or something.
And the Abyss order seems like the farthest away from Khaenri'ah, oddly enough, maybe because most of the people that are part of it are just... mindless monsters trasformed by the curse. Also, any faction (the fatuii, dain, Kaeya to an extent) all seem to hate them or want them gone? We know that Khaenri'ah used to use the field tillers to cleanse the abyss beasts so it may because of that but idk...
Honestly, this is the first time I've externalized any of this so it may not make sense at all. But I'd be glad to hear your theories in turn oh wise sage from the old times (1.3 lmao)(non making fun of you btw, we're both just as insane.

Hmmmmnnnnnn Skirk concept,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
[ID: A conceptual design for the Abyssal Swordslady Skirk from Genshin Impact. She wears a spiky set of black and blue armor, and wields two swords with snowflake-ish designs on their pommels. Her teeth are sharp and she has a mask that looks like a dog's head. The sclera of her eyes are bright blue and when she wears her mask they are black, with only bright blue four-pointed Khaenri'ahn stars showing as eyes. Her ears are long and peaked like a cat or foxes and are black, and against her blonde curly hair, it mimics the head of a hilichurl. Her legs are bent with three joints like the back legs of a cat. The armor over her feet has claws. Her hands have claws. She has a tail that latches her hair color and has a tuft at the end of it. She is lit by pink lighting. End ID]

Why are all the female Bendy characters so awesome and hot? Like, yes I want to fuck the dark-villainess Angel butcher. Yes I want to fuck the swordslady. Yes I want to fuck the literal walking nuke. And if you get into the human characters, we have an extremely conventionally attractive voice actress, two lesbians, one of whom is probably ripped and the other who has great fashion sense, and woman who can apparently breakdance despite being like 60. And also Susie. Who’s okay.
all of the female BATIM characters are girlbosses

So....now is sexist to respect trans people?? If she says "I'm a woman" and he says "I'm a man" that's just what it is! It doesn't kill you to respect them
Yes, I'm aware Oda is a very sexist old-fashioned man (is no secret to anybody), but he is throwing out this little things, let people enjoy it
Oh, but Okamas-
Okamas are STRONG people in One Piece, the ones we get to know at a more personal level (Bon Clay/Ivankov) are great characters
And even as sexist as One Piece can be, it has shown to have strong female characters, just because there's a man stronger than them doesn't make them weak or fragile
Yes, the strongest will always be a man, take it from the guy who doesn't really care about female readers (Oda); but don't let it distract you from the fact that strong female characters ARE there
So no, it's not sexist to respect the trans characters of One Piece, it is sexist however to say they're not giving the way Oda is. To say that Kiku is a man and Yamato is a woman is basically saying that men are walking penises and women walking vaginas.
Also, every transphobic person getting triggered at seeing Kiku with boobs and Yamato with pecs and muscles are forgetting something Oda said a time ago... THEY. ARE. CHARACTERS. They are characters made for the consume of the fandom, the fandom can do whatever they want. If they want to give Kiku the biggest tits of the world and Yamato muscles bigger than his dad's, they'll do it. If they want a strong swordslady who was born male and a hardcore fanboy who was born female they'll do it
So no, it is NOT sexist to like trans characters just because "men are the leaders, we must respect women for who they are"
If Kiku says "you know what? I'm a man after all" and Yamato says "screw it, I'm a woman" (sadly nobody will be surprised if Oda does it) then damn, that happened
But meanwhile, don't guilt trip people into not doing stuff you don't like... Let people enjoy stuff while it lasts
