Wow, that's a tough convo to have with your parents.

Okay, I am of two minds here.

Yes, your parents are not mind readers, right? They're humans, and if you're hiding that you're struggling, they might not know.

HOWEVER

it is your parents' job to create a relationship with you where you feel that you can come to them when/if you are struggling. Where you feel that you don't have to hide that! And that's where I feel like a lot of the blame falls on them.

So I think you have a right to have negative feelings about that. Because their actions directly caused you to feel like you couldn't come to them, you know? You're also a KID and they need to know to check in with you. because developmentally, it's harder to express your emotions when your brain hasn't fully developed (it doesn't develop fully until 25, I believe)

I'm glad they're a bit more aware, but yeah, it's not on you that this is how all of this happened.

I really love haunted houses, they're like being a kid in a candy store for me. That and dressing up for Halloween's always fun, usually go with whatever cosplay I've been working on. what did dove and Jack do today?

they recovered from the umich game yesterday by having a lazy day today!

they slept in and then cuddled and watched movies, and began to slowly start packing their stuff back up to go back to NJ!

dove also watched jack play 1-on-1 basketball with luke, and then she went for a dip in the pool before she and jack took a shower together (non-sexually) and then she sat on the kitchen counter and watched quinn cook dinner and talked with him! jack tried to help but he got kicked out of the kitchen pretty quickly, so he and luke were put in charge of picking out a movie to watch during dinner
