because i hate the way megan fox was sexualised in the movies i wanna give her more personality than just being hot and smart 😭 i heart u bayverse April

- she thrifts! not just expensive 'real vintage' designer labels but everything, she also finds clothes than can be easily upcycled and tweaked for the boys. Her signature color is yellow so you KNOW she has rare and whimsical pieces she collects in her wardrobe

- speaking of which; she sews! Mikey often rips or breaks his stuff (like shoes and shirts) and hes always giving her bits and pieces to fix up. As much as Donnie is a tech wiz, Aprils expertise lies in the art of DIY! shes tried to teach Don how to sew but ironically its one of the few things he cant crack

- shes a stem nut, OBVIOUSLY! her and Don bond the most over new technology and the advancement of science and digital technology. her and Don made her a pc from scratch and its one of her most precious memories

- April has a really bad sweet tooth, when the guys get pizza for the rare nights in, she's reaching for Mikeys candy stash for sure (she makes sure to replenish it with all their shared faves)

- her favourite candy is anything sour! but actually sour, we're talking throat numbingly sour to the point where at the end of the bag all you taste is blood 💀 it freaks everyone out lmao

- she has a masters in journalism and a degree social sciences, its so important to her to give visibility to the stories rarely talked about. Shes very dedicated to her profession and genuinely gets mad that all vern cares about is attention from fans and the camera

- April is also very passionate about nutrition and fitness! she goes total big sister mode when the turtles neglect their protein intake especially with how big and physically demanding their jobs are. a few times she's tried to teach Leo how to cook for his brothers and hes just about learned how to not burn eggs on toast but shell be damned if she starts cooking for 4 6ft men 😭 respectfully not her job!

- she's incredibly protective of her friends, whoever they may be, even Vern. she doesn't take lightly to disrespect and she WILL trash talk you to silence if you make anyone she cares about feel less than

- when she was younger she wanted to be a zoologist or anthropologist. Like her dad, she's always had a love for science and research, but she loved animals so much as a kid and it crushed her when she realised her father was experimenting on animals

- she feels personally responsible for the turtles and Splinter, she visits them atleast once a night, whether on face time or in person. the fact that they feel theyll never be accepted in society weighs heavy on her heart. she wishes things were different

- she knows Mikey has a crush on her, but she doesn't know how to let him down gently and honestly doesn't wanna open that can of worms, so she just pretends she doesn't notice his very desperate flirting

- sleeper build april. SLEEPER BUILD APRIL. people treat her like shes fragile just because she's beautiful but shes also incredibly strong with amazing endurance. i mean hello?! SHE CAN RUN IN HEELS. thats badass

- she loves game nights w the turtles and Casey, she loves playing MK and her go-to character is ofc Mileena (goated and no im not biased)

- she may or may not have a dedicated collection of disguises for super sleuthing and recon. shes very proud of it and will give a tour if asked

- she wants to learn ninjitsu, just doesn't know if she should ask or wait to be asked. she feels awkward and sometimes wonders if its not her place, even though in reality Splinter would be happy to train someone so dedicated to justice.

- her favourite drink is banana protein smoothie!! the lair has a blender just for her 😭 they have to hide it from Mikey before he gets back into his liquid pizza phase again

- she likes hero comics/shows (like 2012 leo!). Naruto was her childhood and its kinda beautifully ironic that she's like a ninja by proxy now

Claypollo hcs and other things idk

I need to yap so im listing everything i got of Claypollo because they ruin my life and they never leave my head:

Clay and Apollo cuddle most of the time when they get the chance to see eachother, since Clay is away from home (Clay just sees Apollo and hugs him like a koala)

When they were kids, Clay had a huge crush for Apollo, of course, Apollo was clueless of such thing

Apollo learn to dance because of Clay (Cheesy bf)

Apollo is the only one who knows how Clay really is (In terms of speaking when he is home, he is extremely lazy to be a gym rat lol)

Clay loves Apollo's cooking (Even tho Apollo doesnt cook anymore since he got no time to do so)

As kids, everyone thought they were dating cuz they were always holding hands

Surprisingly, Apollo was the one who confess despite Clay's huge crush for him

Everyone thinks Apollo is so introverted, but with Clay he is a different person (Only with him he lets his guard down)

So this happen, Clay used to be introverted and shy, Apollo was bold and extroverted as kids. As adults, they are the opposite lol

They hide their relationship from others (and Clay bring it to his grave...)

Methinks they were roommates (omg they were roommates...)

When they were kids, whenever Apollo mention the stars or moon, Clay would yap about everything he knew of space until he goes quiet of embarrassment. Apollo doesnt mind it because it was hard to make Clay talk sometimes

My opinion on Claypollo:

CRAZY SHIP IT RUINED MY LIFE !! /Silly

We know little of Clay yes but despite that, it shows that He and Apollo were extremely close, hearing an "Im fine!" Of either of them would bright up their day and make them choose the right decisions. Clay was the only person who stayed loyal to Apollo, who didnt lie to him, betray him, etc. Clay was everything Apollo had when it come to people he trust, most of the people he trust betray him or use him (For the case of Dhurke, Apollo thinks He abandon Him). I think Apollo deals with Abandonment issues (It's so implied tbh) and Clay knew that, so, in order to protect Apollo he didnt tell Him about the whole "secret mission" he was in because of Yuri Cosmos, to not made him worry. Maybe things would had been different if Clay told him the truth? Who knows..

Methinks Apollo couldnt dare to use his bracelet around Clay (I said this before) because, what does Clay have to hide anyway? There wasnt a thing he had to hide to Him? Right?

I just think they were extremely sweet and supportive to eachother and the tooth rotting fluff (And the sweet angst) is so much to me that it makes me so happy when i see them like "Claypollo yay!!"

casey jr headcanons- food

has no sense of what tastes good or bad for a long time, though the majority of new foods he’s trying tastes better than his normal rations or scavenged rats and leaves. he will gleefully try anything once. the apocalypse has taught him not to be a picky eater.

it can all be a bit much. if he’s ordering food at restaurants, he’ll often pick whatever the person next to him is having or let someone else order for him. even after learning about all the different kinds of foods and developing preferences, restaurants are still overwhelming with all the different choices and options. it’s easier to just let someone else choose.

first few months were a little rough with introducing new foods. even though he liked these things, his stomach would often disagree. or flavors would be too intense some days so he’d stick to “familiar foods” (nothing sandwiches, plain dry crackers, minimally seasoned soups)

it took a long time to tone down the habit of hoarding and hiding his food. he can be very possessive over his plate (you’ll lose a finger if you try stealing a guy’s rations. that’s just bad etiquette in the apocalypse! he never let that slide in his time and he won’t let it slide now) but when he shares his food with someone it means he really really cares.

he does develop a sweet tooth over time. he will often carry bits of various candies for himself in his bag. he’s the self-designated food guy. he will always have something on him- random fruits, granola bars, jerky, hard candy. you can catch him crouch on the ledge of a building popping a soda he pulled out from nowhere.

oh yeah totally. here's a few:

rise

leo has gnarly adhd (combination, but very heavy on the inattentive type). his brain is always running at a million miles per hour. it manifests with an anxiety issue, but he wants to seem "cool" so he tries to couch his concerns as much as possible

the boys have a family-only lou jitsu night where once a month, everyone gets together and watches a whole bunch of splinter's old movies. when he tries to talk in the middle of them, they tape him to the chair

we all know i love giving all of them (and donnie in particular) ptsd post-krang

casey wouldn't live in the lair. i think they'd have him live with april so he could get some socialization. but he does have his own room in the lair, and he has to come back every once in a while just to decompress when the whole Society thing gets to be too much

leo and donnie are a lot closer than either of them like to admit. the whole twin thing started out as a joke when they were kids, but as they get older, they really do gravitate towards each other. matching clothes. just hanging out together. little concept of personal space. they still fight a lot but they make up just as easily.

donnie likes to garden and gets tips from splinter about how to do it well

leo loves tea. the ritualization of it, having a moment with his father to decompress, the subtle flavors... he loves all of it

mikey is the one with adhd in this version. his manifests much more physically than leo's, making him bounce around. also i think he doesn't have a great grasp on risk analysis, so he'd do stupid shit with his friends if they asked him to.

raph has a sweet tooth and really loves baked goods

donnie's autistic and often forgets to eat when he's focused on working. mikey brings him something to eat from time to time, and even though it's actually awful, donnie eats it every time bc he appreciates the gesture

leo talks to his swords while he's taking care of them. calls them by their names. tells them that they did a good job during training. raph overheard him once, and he thinks it's super lame, but he doesn't have the heart to tease leo about it

i think casey might have had a little bit of a crush on raph, just a little. before he starts getting interested in april. nothing serious, nothing that ever goes anywhere. he just rationalizes it as gratitude for what raph did, and goes on as if it never happened.

Every UMich Monday question, 2022-23

As is tradition, I have rewatched every single Monday question in a row, and I now present to you a complete list. The most interesting recurring themes this year were sleepy Mackie, Gavin being obsessed with Jaybone, Frankie having a crush on Brendan, and everyone agreeing that Seamus is a total weirdo. Instead of a full ranking this year, I've sorted them into tiers. Bonus links to non-Monday question but still gold star content appear at the end.

Tier I: Every single second an absolute delight

December 7, 2022 If you could make it rain anything, what would it be? This contains the single flirtiest interaction I have ever seen in a Monday question video, and I say this as a survivor of the Thomas Bordeleau era. It’s a crime against humanity that the video cuts just as Rutger starts to loom over Gavin after drawling suggestively about how he has a sweet tooth. Also features Luca sweetly encouraging Truss.

November 15, 2022 Who has the best bromance on the team? BEST QUESTION and Jaybone kicks it off right: “Gotta be the Fantilli brothers for sure.” Other highlights include Luke insisting that he and Duker have the best bromance despite great skepticism from his teammates (Luca: “I mean you got in a fight today.” Luke: “Ya, out of love.”) and Johnny and Luca’s joint announcement of their  engagement bromance, immediately endorsed by everyone else on the team.

November 22, 2022 If you had to describe yourself or a teammate using just Thanksgiving foods, what would you say? This is an all-timer. It starts with a series of teammates describing Moyle as the thickest Thanksgiving dishes possible, and then it builds to Johnny describing Seamus as pudding (presumably because he’s soft and sweet) and then looking longingly at Luca while telling him he’s the main dish. Also an unknown staffer chips in with a very important Seamus characterization: “Seamus Casey is green bean casserole. It’s a little different, it’s okay. But you only want it once a year.”

November 2, 2022 If you were sailing around the world, what would you name your boat? Hello, 911? I’m calling to report a murder. It was Jacob Truscott in the locker room with the “I would do Granger. Because I miss my roommates Thomas and Matty so it would remind me of them.” This one also features Adam’s dumb face goggling at Rutger’s incredibly dumb answer. And we also learned that Jaybone calls Gavin “Scooter.” 

April 4, 2023 Who’s the best teammate to room with on the road? They ended the season on a high note by revealing everybody's road roommates, with a heavy dose of characterization. Luke praising Truss, and then Truss getting snarky as soon as Luke turns his back. Last year’s Brendan/Dylan and Matty/Mackie roommate combos, a parent trap if ever I heard of one. Jaybone feeding Seamus chicken and rice and putting him to bed on time. Nolan and Gavin ordering Chik-Fil-A and clearly getting up to no good.

Tier II -- Screaming out loud

February 14, 2023 Who makes the best wingman? RICH with characterization. Self-deprecating Seamus vs. self-confident Gavin! (Particularly when contrasted with multiple teammates identifying Seamus as the best wingman and Adam emphatically declaring that Gavin’s the worst wingman even though literally nobody asked.) Luca and Johnny being absolutely besotted with each other, and Rutger manhandling them.

January 17, 2023 Who on the team takes the longest to get ready? Rutger trying to Facetime the Fantillis while they’re taking forever to do their hair is PURE GOLD. Also an early reference to Gavin getting the dance moves going.

March 8, 2023 What’s your favorite memory from the season, so far? Adam’s favorite memory was watching Luca score his first goal.

October 11, 2022 If you could have any zoo animal as a pet, what would it be? Wherein we learned that Phil and Keato adopted ducks last spring. “Shoutout to Moose, Chip, Waddle, Bandit, we miss you.” (Connor Earegood, you still owe us the details. We will not forget.)

October 19, 2022 If you could swap lives with a teammate for a day, who would it be and why? The origin of so many recurring motifs! Seamus being perpetually lost, Mackie lying around in bed all day, smarty Holtzy, and everybody wants to know what’s going in Mark Estapa’s head. Seamus: “I’d probably be Luca. He has a really safe moped. It’s really nice. I’d like to drive around on it.”

February 7, 2023 What is your favorite and most often used emoji? A sleeper hit, primarily due to Holtzy and Adam’s recreations of the facepalm emoji and the silly face emoji, respectively. And Eric’s dig about how Mackie would be the sleepy emoji. Gavin picking the upside down smiley face feels right, too.

November 30, 2022 Who on the team would you NOT let tape your stick? A very important entry in Disaster Seamus canon. Doesn’t ever tape his stick. Doesn’t know how.

January 3, 2023 What’s on your 2023 bucket list? Yet another reference to Seamus being a liability on a moped. Luca wants to take a trip with the boys after the season. Steve wants to go back to back B1G champions (CHECK!) It’s a light week because the squad is off at WJC, so “Mine’s to give Dylan Duke a big ol’ hug when he gets back,” says Mackie. 

September 20, 2022 If you were a cartoon character, who would you be? Great answers top to bottom, but Adam going with Mike Wazowski because “I think he has a good heart” is the most intriguing. Gavin and Luca hugging it out is also important.

September 22, 2022 What would your walk-up song be? Gavin and Luca dancing away together is the highlight of this one. The mysterious Phil/Mark/Seamus pick of Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride also intrigues.

January 12, 2023 Who would be your dream linemate? Features Luca uttering the supremely horny sentence: “My favorite D in the league right now is Quinn Hughes.” Also Moyle picking Blanks.

October 4, 2022 Who on the team would most likely survive a zombie apocalypse? Best line is from Luca: “Jacob Truscott, because he’s so cute the zombies would just want to hug him.” Seamus also points out that Mackie would survive because he’d sleep through it.

November 8, 2022 Which of your teammates would you want to narrate your life? Nolan Moyle “has a lot of stories about me,” hints Truss, darkly. TELL US MORE. Also Seamus carries two smoothies through the background. Who else did you get a smoothie for, Seamus?

March 15, 2023 Who on the team motivates you the most? Nothing too interesting except Frankie’s giant crush on Brendan Miles. Also a sweetheart answer by Luca about Adam, but that’s standard.

February 21, 2023 Give a compliment to a senior Adam with this bizarre story: “Keaton Pehrson brightens my morning every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. He comes in and he explains to us the dreams that he had that night.” And Seamus brought jokes! “Moyle keeps his house really clean.” (And adds, “You have issues @nolanmoyle” in comments, no less.)

March 30, 2023 Who on the team would build the best sandcastle? Unexceptional except for Seamus’s heart eyes about Gavin

October 26, 2022 What was your worst Halloween costume? Nothing of note except Truss citing last year’s sophomore group costume as his worst.

As one of my biggest fictional crushes, Mikey and I have a few things in common, like pizza, video games, a sweet tooth, a love for cats AND we enjoy having fun with our friends and loved ones! Plus, he's one of the funniest and cutest ninja turtles out of all four of the brothers.

Anna x Arthur “Artie” Pendragon (Shrek the Third) - Awkward Boy and Friendly Girl

Of course, not everyone agrees with Shrek the Third being a bad movie in the Shrek franchise since I find it a guilty pleasure not only because I love seeing Fiona with the princesses, but also because of my childhood crush on teenage Arthur “Artie” Pendragon. Yeah, I know how awkward he is, but that’s one of the qualities I like in my perfect man.

Anna x Greg Heffley (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) - Platonic Pining

Ever since I read the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books during my childhood well into my college years, Greg Heffley and I go way back when my mom got me the fifth book, called The Ugly Truth and because I could relate so much to him, I got more of the books and even the 3-movie collection on DVD for my 19th birthday last year. But since the books as a whole mostly targets kids, the pining is platonic just to keep the relationship clean and family-friendly.

Anna x Corky (Snorks) - Height Difference

I love most of the Snorks characters all the same like Allstar, Casey, Dimmy, Daffney, Tooter, Junior, Dr. Gallio, Jo-Jo and especially Corky as another fictional crush. But since he’s no bigger than my thumb, he would be covered in loads of lip gloss when I shower him with kisses. Nonetheless, though, I love him for his courage and heart of gold.

Anna x Tin Man (The Wizard of Oz) - Tragic Past x Ray of Light

Because of how big his heart is, the Tin Man is always there to help me feel better when I’m not feeling good. But since he cries easily due to his sensitive nature and especially when he used to be human back before he became the Tin Man, I would return the favor by comforting him, which makes us the emotional support duo.

Anna x Fly (Help! I’m A Fish/A Fish Tale) - Friends to Lovers

Since I enjoyed watching Help! I’m A Fish/A Fish Tale as a kid loads of times, Fly, Stella, Chuck, Sasha and Professor MacKrill have been my favorite characters from the movie and just like all the other fans of this flick, I especially liked Fly and we’d fairly get along if I were in his neighborhood before crushing on him as he accepts my crush on him.

Anna x Balan (Balan Wonderworld) - Theatrical Duo

While Balan Wonderworld wasn’t exactly the best video game of 2021, Balan himself was another dude I had a huge crush on. He’s very charismatic, dramatic, playful and funny. Not to mention that we both love musical theater as a common interest and there’s a mutual respect between the two of us and his Tims since he’s incredibly gentle.

Ever since The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part came out when I was 14 years old, I felt my heart skipping a beat hearing the soothing sound of Balthazar’s voice and mentioning that he’s an attractive, non-threatening teen vampire, plus he wears makeup and mom jeans and enjoys music. He’s one flirty femboy, which is seriously making me blush.

Anna x Jack Frost (Rise of the Guardians) - Winter Twins

Going back to when I watched DreamWorks’ Rise of the Guardians on Netflix, Jack Frost, the Guardian of Fun by all means, just had to be one of my next big fictional crushes. He’s playful, just like me and we both have winter birthdays, despite being born in separate months.

Honey! Where's my Headcanons? Honey where is my Headcanons! (I pray that people get that reference...)

First Headcanon, (slightly also a Lauren Headcanon... but..) I like to imagine Lauren and Honey were friends in high school (I also imagine Lauren was friends with Casey in high school but Honey & Casey didn't actually meet until further down the line...)

Second Headcanon, Honey is a very patient person which is why they didn't mind taking things a bit slow with Casey.... (they also are quite calm but um... you'll see why in a bit...)

Third Headcanon, I don't know why but I imagine Honey's family was rich but not extremely rich... like rich enough that Honey's parents could afford them dance lessons specifically ballet (which is why they know how to dance...)

Fourth Headcanon, (this is connected to the last Headcanon.... but..) Honey's family was the kind of people who kinda let the money go to their heads and they kinda becames snobs (except for honey) and also Honey's family didn't have the best control of their tempers sooo there was quite a lot of yelling mostly directed at Honey (didn't help that back then Honey was almost as anxious and nervous as Casey so they ended up kinda locking away certain emotions even after moving out and that's why they're so calm.... jeez that got depressing....)

Fifth Headcanon, (this is a more light hearted one.. i promise...) Because of Casey (and Because Lauren practically begged Honey to) Honey's home now has a bunch of plants (I imagine Honey has a actual home while Casey & Lauren shared a apartment which means Honey has more space and Lauren asked Honey to take some of Casey's plants since the apartment is practically overflowing with them...)

Sixth Headcanon, I don't know why but I imagine Honey really likes cinnamon (also pumpkin pie too....actually scratch that, they like all the sweets and they have a massive sweet tooth.....maybe in the future when Sweets possibly opens up their dream bakery, Honey can be one of their first customers....I think Honey & Sweets would get along...)

Seventh Headcanon, (I don't think Honey's job has been mentioned (yet) sooo...) I like to imagine Honey works as a author... they aren't super well known (yet) but they have written quite a bit... (now I'm just thinking that Ellis, Gem & Honey would possibly get along... maybe a few of Honey's books have ended up in Ellis's bookstore....)

Eighth Headcanon, (I don't know why... but..) I like to imagine Honey has a ginger cat (who I have dubbed "Cheese/Cheese Puff" and he is very fluffy and poofy.... also round like a cheese puff...)

Ninth Headcanon, (slightly inspired by one of my Casey's Headcanons... but..) I like to imagine Honey has tried to come up with their nickname for Casey but 1. They aren't very good at nicknames and 2. When they try to use nicknames like love,baby, babe and etc.. it causes Casey to get very flustered (I believe that's the word...) so Honey doesn't really have a nickname for Casey though they occasionally call him something flower related like Rose or Petal...

Tenth Headcanon, (totally not based off my own opinions... but..) I like to imagine Honey really likes the movie "Howl's Moving Castle" (plus other movies made by Studio Ghibli... I believe I spelled that right...)

Bonus Headcanon, (a bit of a future headcanon techically... but..) When Honey eventually opens up a bit more and lets loose more of the emotions they have locked away, I totally see them becoming more anxious and nervous... and as a way to fidget/stim Honey will either write or paint... (I imagine they even gave Casey a painting once though it was a small painting...)

Wedding Day

To say you were nervous would be a complete understatement. The nerves kept you up much later than you would have liked, keeping you groggy for the better half of the morning.

You were just glad you had Mickey’s mom to help you get prepared. Once you were finished you looked at her through the mirror as she hugged you from behind, smiling with tears in her eyes. “You look breathtaking. Just as kind and beautiful as the shy little girl Mickey had been excited to bring home for the first time.”

Your dress was gorgeous, beyond anything you’ve ever dreamed of with the beautiful necklace she had gifted you in the morning.. It was a family heirloom that’s been passed down for generations, usually to the first married woman of the family. With Mickey being the oldest of two siblings and his younger sister not planning on getting engaged any time soon, it went to you, no matter how much you declined.

A few tears slipped as you hugged her tighter to you. “Thank you so much for everything. I don’t think I’d be where I am now without you or the family, you mean the world to me.”

The remaining hour went by in a flash. The venue was decorated with an assortment of fairy lights, giving it an ethereal glow. You both had invited a handful of people, a few family members and your closest friends, wanting to have a small wedding. Mickey was beaming with joy while trying to contain his crying as you both said your vows, you were no better. His best man and best friend Reuben had subtly handed you both tissues causing your heart to soar as you thought about your now husband having wonderful people in his life that cared deeply for him.

Your first kiss shared as husband and wife had completely swept you off your feet, your friends and family cheered loudly with a few hoots and hollers coming from the back. You were so enraptured by the kiss you didn’t realize Mickey had swept you up and carried you towards the reception area. The group had followed heading to their seats as all the food was being served.

“How are you feeling, Mrs. Garcia?” Mickey beamed at you.

“Absolutely in love, Mr. Garcia.” Winking at him, you leaned over and gave him a peck. It was so easy to get lost in each other. After all, you two had practice since you were five. You had a whole life together and were ready for more, greedily taking what you could get.

“You two are so sickly cute it’s disgustingly endearing. Remind me to nausea meds when I’m around the both of you,” Reuben teased you both. He was sitting at the table next to Mickey, shoving food in his mouth with a grin.

“Oh, I second that. It was bad enough I was forced to see her read the novels he sent her but now I have to see them interact in person.” Casey, your best friend who was your maid of honor chuckled. She sipped on her drink next to you with her date on the other side hiding a laugh with her hand.

“Hey, I wasn’t that bad. And those letters were sweet.” You grumbled under your breath causing the whole table to laugh. In all honesty, you were down bad.

She raised an eyebrow at you, “Need I remind you of the events leading to your callsign, Wraith?” She had got you there, not even your loving husband knew about that.

“Nope!” You squeaked, cheeks turning a dark crimson color. Reuben gave a questioning look to Mickey who shrugged back. He knew of your callsign, just not the story of how it came to you.

“Now you have to tell us. You can’t expect us not to bite the bait you’ve just thrown at us.”

Casey opened her mouth to speak but stopped at the look you gave her, instead she shrugged. “Sorry. Lips are sealed.”

“How wonderful,” you replied dryly, shaking your head at her. The others protested, wanting to hear the story that managed to ruffle your feathers. “I promise it’s nothing too interesting. She’s just making it out to seem like more than it really is.”

“I beg to differ,” Casey said behind her glass, smirking at you from the memory but relented in the end. It wasn’t everyday she got to tease you endlessly which had been payback for all the times you’ve done it to her. But she knew her limits and didn’t plan on crossing that line lest it fall back on her.

Reuben perked up at the exchange, “You’re not getting out of it that easily, I will expect an explanation some time in the future. As for now, go have your first dance you two lovebirds.” He and Casey had all but pushed you and Mickey out of your seats towards the makeshift dance floor. 

Giggling at their antics you grabbed Mickey’s hand in yours pulling yourself into his embrace as the music played after the announcement of your first dance. 

Finally having a moment to yourselves without any interruptions before the rest of the party joins you.

You looked up at him, completely love-struck, eyes shining with emotion. “I love you, Mr. Garcia.”

“I love you more, Mrs. Garcia.” He smiles, leaning down and pulls you into a kiss.
