I absolutely HATE underswap. Always have. The fact that it just swaps characters personalities with no actual changes annoys me so goddamn much. There's no actual thought put into any of the swaps! If you're going to make a roleswap, I feel like it should at least do something meaningful with the characters, because otherwise it's basically just doing an aesthetics swap. Which is fine I guess. But then WHY WAS IT SO FUCKING POPULAR... also the fact that everyone obsessed over swap papyrus was so fucking frustrating (not because I don't like papyrus, quite the opposite, but because the only time he was the center of attention was when he was basically just sans but tall and orange.) speaking of which why the fuck did the fandom decide that papyrus' color was orange it makes no goddamn sense. he's never even connected to that color in game. where as red and blue he absolutely is. sorry this became an absolutely insane rant

*physically resisting the urge to type YEAH as the start of my sentence for the third time* NO I GET IT i think it’s another thing that can be super interesting and cool if done right but people are so damn LAZY about it!!!! especially since after a point they weren’t even the characters they swapped with anymore, they just turned into caricatures! nobody actually liked swap papyrus for his potential to be interesting, they saw him as a taller, “sexier” sans (who still didn’t act like sans.) swap sans was.................that!

but your last point i am JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND YELLING AND POINTING because i have been saying this for!!! YEARS!!!! i GET that its meant to be complimentary to sans but papyrus has never used orange magic ONCE!! SURE he has a much warmer color palette but that makes the blue a damn striking contrast!!!! everyone who joins me in drawing blue undertale papyrus is the coolest sexiest bitch on this earth and you heard it here first

Looking at all the money you made. It made you feel ready to leave the underground. With Temmie helping you and a few other monsters as well. But still you were happy you were able to recover the money that you had gave to Papyrus. Well, more like he stole from you. But at this point to didn't care.

Sure the quality in the Waterfall and Snowdin weren't great. But however, on the surface you've seen worse.

"Come on Temmie!" You yelled as you opened your back for Temmie to get in.

"Coming!" Temmie yelled back as they jumped in your bag.

As you quickly gathered your things you ran to Hotland. You clenched the microphone in your (D/h) hand as you made it inside. Everything was so... So.... Fucking spoiled! You swore to God that literally everyone in Hotland would be those types of people you had met before.

When you mean those types that would be like "with the money I have, I always get what I want". You even cringed when you thought about it. Then that memory came back in your head. When a blonde rich boy started affording you money if you date him.

Sure you weren't wealthy, but he took to far at one point. So you literally slapped him across the face. Hopefully you never had to experience that ever again.

As you were wondering in Hotland monsters glared at you. But however, not only that. What you didn't know it grabbed a certain monsters attention.

"You know, should you give Papyrus a call?" Temmie suggested, while peaking out your bag a bit.

"You know, that's not a bad idea. But, however we should do it if only needed." You said to Temmie as you kept looking forward while walking.

As you kept talking monster looked at you while you heard whispers and mumbles about you. Maybe they thought it was the fact that they thought you were talking about yourself. Whatever the case it was you simply didn't bother.

Suddenly you came face to face with a monster. Pulling out your microphone and powering it on. You then spoke softly into the microphone, "Let's do this."

so. you know the “anti harem” fics? where all-too-many skeleton bros from different universes (usually the og pair, underswap, underfell, and swapfell) get with a toxic s/o, reader moves in or something and everyone starts to hate the reader?

now, guess what idea I’ve been thinking of:

a) reader makes friends with all of them, toxic s/o gets evaporated in some way, and romance ensues (the usual ending for these /positive)

b) reader moves out eventually, romances a different set of skeletons (ex. horrortale)

c) romances any of the other og characters (ex. mettaton, napstablook, grillby, asgore, toriel even)

d) romances w. d. gaster (I’ve seen one of these before and it was hilarious)

or…

e) Reader disappears for a while, and comes back for revenge with the fucking Destroyer Of Worlds (who is completely smitten with them)

WELCOME TO THE GOLDEN FLOWER FESTIVAL!

For those of you who don’t know, this is an RP event taking place from today (tuesday) to Saturday evening! I’ll be answering replies whenever I’m online! The setting will be one of ebotts biggest celebrations, the golden flower festival, a spring celebration of the arts and culture of ebott!

This year is extra special! The festival is being held all around Portland, a city next to the ocean full of docks. Normally any sort of trade and skipping ships dock there, but they’re being redirected to all the smaller seaside towns for these few days. And it’s also the first major festival that’s completely hadal accessible! All the shopping and events will take place on the docks and beaches around the ocean. Many ships have also volunteered as spots to host events.

This year’s art theme will be blacksmithing. All the art contests and shows will center around metal works.

Activities to do:

Visit the shops of course! Artists and artisans of all kinds fight for a booth in this fair, so there will be all kinds of goodies!

What’s a fair without fair games? Of course there will be many booths looking to rip you off for the chance to win a cheap stuffed animal! So much fun!

Also this fair is literally on the beach, so find a clearer spot and enjoy the sand and water! Because of how many aquatic monsters will be around, fishing with any sort of hook or nets are strictly prohibited in Portland for the week.

See the art show! There’s four sections being judged: small works, large works, weapons and machines! All got blacksmiths and metalworkers of course!

Visit seaweed mall! While it’s not as big as the metta mall in hotland, it is a nice mall and was the first one built in ebott. Seaweed mall is special for selling brands from outside of ebott. So it’s mostly catered to humans but most brands are slowly making monster geared items too!

There’s gonna be a school play on one of the navy ships docked about the story of ambassador frisk when they first fell underground. It has two showings, a day apart. Ambassador frisk has no comments about the play lol

There’s also gonna be a cosplay contest on the same ship at different times. Ebotts first comic con group paid some serious gold to advertise this and are hoping to draw out more fans for the con coming up in may. No theme, just show up as a character you love.

The royals presiding over this festival will be King, Summer, Olympia, Titanic (and to a lesser extent, toriel miss and asgore) so there’s a small chance to run into them.

The biggest show will be a meet and greet with some of ebotts biggest stars! The big three: mettaton, napstablook and fallentron (or felltron) will be the main guests, but there’s also a chance to run into Goldentron (fellswap gold) and silverblook (swapfell) throughout the festival.

Late, but every day is Halloween in my house, so--

The first year they're on the Surface, Blackberry would insist on trick-or-treating. Yes, he's an adult, but he never got to do this! He's small enough and acts young enough that most people responded well to him, but he was given the "Aren't you a little old for this?" treatment by some jerks. After that first year, I think he really falls in love with the holiday. I could see him really enjoying haunted houses, and even working as a scare actor.

Twist...not so much. He likes the cute side of things--kids in costumes, "spoopy" stuff--but he hates the scary shit. It agitates his LV and overall just isn't fun for him. His fear response definitely falls on the "fight" side of flight, fight, or freeze, so he tries to stay clear of things that trigger him like that. (He doesn't want to be the guy who punches an innocent scare actor, after all.) So, he usually stays home, passes out candy, and maybe watches a "cute" Halloween movie. I think he may have tried a haunted house for his bro's sake, but the whole time, he had to keep reminding himself that it wasn't real, no one was actually going to harm him. And it was nothing but miserable for him. So he didn't try that again.

Blue isn't as enthusiastic about Halloween as many of the others. (He's more of a Gyftmas guy, I think.) I do think he likes an excuse for a party, though. ^_^

And Swap is mostly interested in the pumpkin spice everything and the candy. And he's very fond of the costumery. He favors cute over scary, and he makes his brother a costume every year. (He eventually starts making one for himself once he works through his self esteem issues.) Overall, though, he's a pass out candy and chill kind of guy.

Razz is a grump. He doesn't do Halloween, and is overall disgusted by the whole thing. (Some of this is self-directed frustration because he's got a sweet-tooth he resents, and he's always upset that Halloween marks the start of the holiday season, where sweets are too plentiful.) If he passes out anything (unlikely), it's apples.

Slim loves the whole idea, but he's not sure how to engage with it. He's too shy to spearhead anything himself, but he does want to participate. He's down for just about anything his friend group will get up to, though. I could fully see him finding a local ghost hunting group and engaging in the real scary shit, though--visiting graveyards, breaking into haunted houses, and conducting seances. This boy is delighted rather than scared by Halloween gore; if he wants a thrill, he needs something a bit more intense. (We'll assume ghosts are real in this 'verse--see Napstablook--but any that remained on the Surface after the war aren't like the ones that went Underground.)
